The Deadline Has Passed, the Manuscript Delivered
Crow or Raven? Craven!
As I awaited Hurricane Lee’s approach, I completed the manuscript, ensuring it reached the publisher on the day of the deadline, just before 8 PM on September 15th. This morning, I relished the luxury of sleeping late, a rarity after many months of early mornings. Dave made breakfast as I slept, and together we sipped coffee while Hurricane Lee, thankfully weakened, roared outside. We observed the maple tree losing its leaves in the storm’s fierce winds, each leaf taking a wild journey through the turbulent air.
Tomorrow, I’m heading to an undisclosed location for a few days to indulge in the luxury of rest, sleep, and reading novels. Upon my return, I’ll be diving into my next book and resuming control of this blog. You can expect some upcoming changes in the blog in the days and weeks ahead. But for now, I’m only looking forward to a well-deserved break and recharge.
