The Time Between the Solar and Lunar Eclipses

The powerful Libra Solar Eclipse occurred on October 14th and the Taurus Lunar Eclipse will occur on October 28th. Here we find ourselves in the time between the Eclipses. We can symbolically link this time to the idea of the Bardo.

The term “Bardo” originates from Tibetan Buddhism and refers to the time and state between death and rebirth. It is believed that in this space/time, the soul goes through a series of experiences and encounters, influenced by one’s past actions, beliefs, and thoughts. At this time the soul is said to have the opportunity for spiritual growth, guided by its karma. This is considered a critical period for the soul’s journey. Just as the Bardo represents an intermediate state between death and rebirth, eclipses can be seen as similar transitional celestial periods.

The period between eclipses (approximately two weeks) is a time when the veils between dimensions are thinner, offering heightened spiritual sensitivity. This is an important time for reflection and release, much like the soul’s journey in the Bardo.

During this time, ritual, meditation, and other spiritual practices are helpful in navigating this transitional phase and harnessing the powerful shifting energies of the eclipses. Keep your eyes open for opportunities for personal growth that arise during this time. Look for the stepping stones that usher you into a new phase in your life. Much like the Bardo, this time serves as a pivotal stage in your journey toward your future.
