The Official Day of Thanks is Over,

Let’s Continue Deep Gratitude

We each have so much to be grateful for. Perhaps it isn’t always easy to see. After all, life is not easy. None of us gets a free ride or a life without difficulty, challenge, suffering, and pain. And yet, we have this life. This strangely magical existence puts us in direct contact with circumstances as well as other humans to learn from and grow with. We have breath, we have love, we have the ability to connect and become more than we ever imagined.

I recently made an offer in my Patreon Community for folks to join me in a small workshop (on Zoom) to explore deep ideas and contemplations regarding the healing of personal, social, and collective wounds as seen in the natal chart. I believe that it is on these topics that my next book will be built. I am grateful to have found a lively group willing to engage in these topics with openness, kindness, and vulnerability.

I am thinking about other small workshop offerings to make available through Patreon in the future. A friend suggested a workshop focusing on the personal and individual gifts that are shown in each natal chart. Perhaps that will be next.

My Patreon Page is a simple one. There is only one level, which is $5 per month. For that amount, you get all my public content, the ability to support my work, as well as occasional offerings and more. Join us!

The Gemini New Moon and Neptune’s Paradox

Monday, November 27, 2023

The week begins with the Gemini New Moon at 4:17 am EST, marking the culmination of the monthly lunar cycle. At this Full Moon, the Moon is at 4 degrees Gemini, the Sun at 4 degrees Sagittarius. If you have planets in your natal chart in the early degrees of the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces), this will have a more direct and personal impact on you. Pay attention to the polarity of houses that hold Gemini and Sagittarius in your natal chart. It is between these two areas of life that you will feel called to find or create some much-needed balance. Below the daily posts, you will find brief suggestions on the meaning of the 12 houses.

Each Full Moon offers a time for newfound clarity and awareness. However, today Neptune throws a cosmic curveball as it forms a square aspect with Mercury (the ruler of this Gemini Full Moon). Neptune suggests a challenge of confusion or foggy thinking. Expressing the very ideas that are illuminated, brings with it a challenge to our very acceptance of what seems clear. Is it, really? Despite the perceived clarity, finding the right words becomes elusive, creating a paradox. Poetry and music will help clear the fog. For a deeper dive into this Full Moon, head to the AstroPath YouTube page, where Jennie and I unravel the impact of this Gemini Full Moon.

Anytime Mercury squares Neptune you may experience a heightened sense of confusion, challenges in communications, and a tendency for misunderstandings. Mercury is the planet of communication and logical thinking, and Neptune is the planet associated with dreams, intuition, and illusions. Conversations may be veiled in ambiguity, and details might slip through the cracks. It is advisable to approach important conversations with care, being aware that you may not have all the information you need. Creativity and imagination can flourish under this aspect, therefore listen to music, read poetry, and dance. Hold off on any important decisions.

Curiosity and Flexibility

Tuesday, November 28, 2023

The Moon continues its journey through Gemini today, suggesting a favorable time for lively and stimulating connections and conversations. Gemini, a mutable air sign ruled by Mercury, suggests the adaptability of our emotional nature and inclines us toward intellectual curiosity. Conversations take center stage, offering a heightened interest in others. Engage in social interactions, partake in light-hearted banter, and articulate ideas and thoughts easily.

Nevertheless, it’s also important to acknowledge that the emotional landscape is likely to be changeable and somewhat unpredictable, reflecting the inherent duality of Gemini. Feelings may fluctuate, revealing a more fickle side of our nature. To navigate this, it helps to remain flexible and go with the flow, adapting to the shifting emotional currents. Embracing the curious and versatile nature of Gemini throughout the day is your best way of navigating the day.

Stability and Optimism

Wednesday, November 29, 2023

The Moon entered Cancer during the early morning hours while we slept. Cancer, being the cardinal water sign ruled by the Moon encourages us to focus on home, family, and warm emotional connections. We seek comfort and security at this time, making it an ideal time to nurture relationships and create warmth in our domestic environment.

Over the course of the day, the Moon forms lovely aspects with both Saturn and Jupiter. The supportive connection with Saturn brings a sense of stability and an acceptance of responsibility. Simultaneously, the harmonious aspect with expansive Jupiter contributes an optimistic atmosphere, encouraging a positive outlook. Today holds the potential for productive and emotionally fulfilling endeavors. This is a day when nurturing relationships, tending to domestic matters, and pursuing personal growth can be particularly rewarding.

Look for an Unexpected Twist

Thursday, November 30, 2023

Throughout the day, the Moon continues its stay in Cancer, emphasizing feelings of comfort and a focus on emotional well-being. Cancer, a strong and protective water sign with a cardinal modality, often brings a sense of nurturing energy and highlights the importance of home and close relationships. The cardinal quality suggests a natural inclination to take initiative, with Cancer acting as a protector, ensuring the emotional security of those in its environment.

Late this afternoon, the Moon forms a sextile aspect to Uranus. This suggests an opportunity for an exciting change, a unique opportunity, or something of a surprise. Look for the unexpected twist to the day. The Moon’s sextile with Uranus, the planet associated with innovation and spontaneity, encourages a willingness to embrace the unexpected. You may have the chance to try something new, connect with people in a surprising way, or simply infuse a bit of the unusual into your routine. Keep an open mind and be receptive to whatever comes your way.

Practical Plans for the Future – Fun Plans for the Weekend

Friday, December 1, 2023

The day begins with the Moon still in Cancer forming a powerful opposition with Pluto. This is a quickly passing influence but suggests a powerful and intense start to the day. Be mindful of power dynamics at the breakfast table and the start of the workday. Something may be revealed that requires careful consideration before addressing the situation.

At 9:31 am, Mercury, the planet of communication and intellect, moves out of Sagittarius and into Capricorn. Mercury in Capricorn is characterized by a more practical and disciplined approach to your thoughts and communications. On December 13th Mercury will station retrograde at 8 degrees Capricorn. Thereby keeping Mercury in this Cardinal Earth sign for an extended period of time (until February 5th). A good deal of our thinking and planning over the next 12 days will need to be renegotiated or reconsidered. Keep your mental focus on long-term goals, and strategic planning, and keep your communications thoughtful and even methodical. Make plans now, although you may need to rework them, the effort put in now will set you on the right track.

At 11 AM EST, the Moon bids farewell to Cancer and enters the dynamic fire sign of Leo. This brings a noticeable change in the emotional atmosphere, as we prepare for the weekend. Leo is known for its boldness, creativity, and desire for self-expression. The Moon’s journey through Leo encourages a more confident and theatrical approach to emotions, as well as a desire for recognition and appreciation.

Late afternoon shadow on a cold day

Dreamy, yet Strategic

Saturday, December 2, 2023

Today, the Moon continues through Leo, bringing in a lively and expressive emotional environment. As the Moon aligns in a harmonious trine with the Sun early in the day, there’s a sense of emotional balance and synergy between inner feelings and outward expression. This alignment between the luminaries (the Moon and Sun) signifies a harmonious blend of emotions and self-awareness, setting a positive tone, and encouraging confidence, creativity, and genuine comfort with one’s self and others.
At 10:27 AM EST, Mercury (currently in Capricorn) and Saturn (in Pisces) team up in a sextile aspect. This suggests that the way we think and communicate (Mercury) aligns well with our responsibilities and the need for structure and discipline (Saturn). This is a great time for clear and practical communication while also allowing space for imagination and flexibility. This encourages a balanced approach, dreamy, yet strategic. If you are looking for a good time for a significant conversation, this is your day, as you will be able to approach your communications with a practical yet creative mind.

Power, Control, and Passion

Sunday, December 3, 2023

The day starts with the Moon in Leo, setting a vibrant emotional tone to the day. Leo, known for its bold and dramatic energy, encourages a desire for self-expression and an embrace of individuality.

However, the square aspect formed between Venus (in Libra) and Pluto (in Capricorn) at 8:29 AM EST, adds a powerful and complex dynamic to the day. Venus, the planet of love and connection, and Pluto, the planet of power and intensity, coming together in a difficult and challenging aspect suggests powerful experiences in matters of the heart. While this aspect can greatly intensify emotions, it may also bring to light hidden dynamics within relationships. This suggests a time when issues of power, control, and passion may surface. Take care to navigate your emotional connections with honesty, integrity, and self-awareness.

At 10:51 PM EST, the Moon departs from Leo and enters Virgo. This shift from the fiery and expressive Leo to the grounded and practical Virgo signifies a change in the emotional atmosphere and will help stabilize us during this difficult Venus-Pluto square. In Virgo, the Moon will bring our attention to the desire for practical solutions. This should be a welcome ending to the week.
