REVISIT YOUR DREAMS
Monday, June 18, 2018:
Monday’s practical Virgo Moon forms a flowing trine aspect to defiant Uranus early Monday morning allowing your emotional self to explore new ideas and ways of getting your needs met.
Later in the afternoon, she forms another sweet trine aspect to level-headed Saturn bringing a touch of reality to the conversation.
With the Moon in Virgo, you will notice yourself drawn toward practical activities. You will want to organize and analyze everything you do. You may have a hard time allowing ‘good-enough’ to be good enough. Don’t allow perfectionism to stop progress. Work on projects and issues that will benefit from paying particular attention to details.
Neptune turns retrograde at 7:27 PM EDT and will remain so until late November. This suggests a need to revisit, explore, and examine your understanding of your deepest imagination, your dreams, and your spirituality.
You will likely sleep through this but just in case: The Leo Moon is VOC* until she enters Virgo at 4:41 AM EDT on Monday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

EXPRESS VULNERABILITY
Tuesday, June 19, 2018:
The Virgo Moon keeps you chugging along doing practical chores and getting things done efficiently throughout the day.
However, during the mid-afternoon, Mercury in sensitive Cancer forms a flowing trine to expansive Jupiter. Conversations may move into unusual depths and the vulnerability expressed may surprise you.
Go with your gut instincts. Listen carefully and trust yourself to know how to respond. Perhaps, you are being called to help someone in deeper need than it appears. If you are the one expressing vulnerability, trust yourself in knowing who to share yourself with. Allow words to open your heart.

GRACE AND DECORUM
Wednesday, June 20, 2018:
Challenges arise with the Sun and Moon at odds (1st Quarter Square phase) at 6:51 AM EDT. It can be difficult to know what action to take but you know it is time to move forward with the understanding you gained since the New Moon last Wednesday.
At 8:30 AM EDT, the Moon enters diplomatic Libra, showing you that the best move forward is to face any issue with dispassionate objectivity. Libra asks that you put cooperation and an attitude of refinement ahead of other considerations. Face internal and external work with grace and decorum.
Since May 20th, the Sun has been in inquisitive, curious, fast-talking Gemini. Enjoy this one last day of Gemini. Thursday morning at 6:07 AM EDT the life-giving Sun enters nurturing, inward Cancer.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:51 AM EDT until she enters Libra at 8:30 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SUN ENTERS CANCER – PROTECTIVE MAMA BEAR
Thursday, June 21, 2018:
At 6:07 AM EDT, the Sun enters the intuitive, domestic sign of Cancer. I want to take this opportunity to clear up a misunderstanding I often see expressed about Cancer. Everyone seems to know that Cancer is sensitive, nurturing, and tender. However, many folks seem to conflate sensitivity with weakness. Please, make no mistake, Cancer is a powerful sign in its own right! Think the nurturing mother bear! Don’t ever mess with Cancer assuming she will not strike back!
While the Sun is in Cancer, you may feel more insular as your attention is drawn inward to your domestic life. Your focus turns to build deep roots and a sense of belonging.
Thursday starts the Cancer season with some clear challenges as an opposition forms between Venus and Mars. It may be hard to appreciate what you have as you keep looking over your shoulder for what you think you would prefer.
Even the cooperative Libra Moon isn’t in the best state to help the situation as she forms hard aspects with Mercury and Pluto. Watch your words and tendency to get hot under the collar. Remember, before you speak ask yourself three things: Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? If everything that comes out of your mouth passes that test, you will do fine!
This is unlikely to have much impact on Thursday but the Libra Moon is VOC* after 9:34 PM EDT Friday morning. She will be VOC* until 3:11 PM EDT on Friday when she will enter Scorpio. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

A QUIET DAY FOR CONTEMPLATION
Friday, June 22, 2018:
The Libra Moon is very quiet throughout the day being VOC* until entering Scorpio at 3:11 PM EDT. This is a good day to avoid making decisions or starting new projects, it is a good day for rest, meditation, dreaming, or enjoying vacation.
Once the Moon enters Scorpio, the reset button is hit and you can move forward more easily. You will be called to seek intensity, passion, and deep emotions of all kinds. You have a strong belief that knowledge is power, therefore, you are highly motivated to find out what makes people or situations ‘tick’.
Friday evening is underscored by the Moon opposing Uranus, exposing not only what is intense, deep, and hidden but also what is unusual or eccentric in some way. When the intense and the unusual come together, they always dig up something of interest. Keep your eyes open and enjoy.
The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) until she enters Scorpio at 3:11 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

IS IT TRUE? IS IT NECESSARY? IS IT KIND?
Saturday, June 23, 2018:
You can anticipate waking on Saturday still in the throes of the Sun sextile Uranus. You may carry the intensity of unusual family-centered dreams with you into the morning.
Unfortunately, the quirkiness and possible fun of that transit will likely be overshadowed by Mercury opposing Pluto at 5:26 AM EDT. Try to sleep late and then spend time alone with your thoughts and ideas. Mercury and Pluto can be used in deep contemplation, reading, and writing.
Don’t try to have significant or sensitive conversations, particularly with family members today. It would be too easy to end up in difficult power dynamics with things being said that are best left unsaid.
Once again, remember, before you speak ask yourself three things: Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Make sure all that you say on Saturday passes that test.
When the intense Scorpio Moon joins with joyful Jupiter at 5:11 PM EDT, you can let down your guard a bit and make connections that can end in a lovely nighttime of dreamy connection when Moon trines whimsical Neptune at 10:23 PM EDT.

UNDER THE SURFACE
Sunday, June 24, 2018:
Sunday is by far the easier day of the weekend. The deeply profound Scorpio Moon makes nice contact with Pluto and Mercury, encouraging any deep work necessary to sooth any ruffled feathers from Saturday.
After 10:00 AM EDT, we enter another long VOC Moon allowing time to simply be with all that has occurred over the weekend. Rest, relax, allow yourself to have no agenda or expectations.
With the Moon in Scorpio, this relaxation is not light and airy, there is a depth that you may go to as you focus your mind and allow emotions to bubble to the surface. Under that surface, there is much transformation and powerful healing work occurring. For now, just rest and allow it to work its magic under the surface.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 10:00 AM EDT until she enters Sagittarius early Monday morning (12:30 AM EDT). When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
*The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
*The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

UPBEAT (FOR THE MOST PART) START TO THE DAY
Monday, November 20, 2017:
The Moon is in Sagittarius throughout Monday, offering a generally upbeat and lighthearted start to the week.
Keep in mind that the sign the Moon is traveling through on any given day sets the emotional tone for the day. The aspects the Moon makes to other planets brings us face to face with the energy of those planets in a way that is represented by the aspect in question, some supportive and others challenging.
If you wake up very early, the optimistic Sagittarius Moon may be quite talkative, as she meets up with perceptive chatty Mercury at 5:37 AM EST.
Mid-afternoon, the Moon connects with Chiron (the planet that represents a deep felt wound) in Pisces. This suggests a challenge between your opinions and the reality of your circumstance.
At 4:44 PM EST, she forms a beautiful flowing trine to Uranus. You can expect excitement or possibly stress, something that amps up the conversation and the day.
At 7:27 PM EST, she makes her final aspect of the day, joining with Saturn at 26° Sagittarius. You may feel let down or in some manner restricted, sad or lonely. Allow yourself to settle in and look clearly at the reality of the situation. It is not so bad and will pass quickly if you don’t get pulled into any dramas.  Please go out of your way to be extra kind to yourself and those around you on Monday evening.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 7:27 PM EST until she enters Capricorn on Tuesday morning at 2:14 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SUN ENTERS SAGITTARIUS – SEEK HIGHER UNDERSTANDING
Tuesday, November 21, 2017:
The big news on Tuesday comes at 10:04 PM EST. when the Sun, following her long haul through the deep, passionate waters of Scorpio, now enters fun-loving, explorative Sagittarius! Over the coming month, we reach out to understand and see the bigger picture and the perspective of others.
The emotional environment of the day turns serious as the Moon enters hard-working and realistic Capricorn at 2:14 AM EST.
Take time on Tuesday to think back to your situation and circumstances in late November of 2016. At that time, a cycle began that has been profoundly transforming your personal values, resources, or a love relationship. Do you remember something specific beginning at that time?
Since then, the cycle between Venus and Pluto has proceeded forward as the energy between these two grew, the transformation began, culminated, and is now waning. Whatever began at that time came to full fruition in mid-August, 2017. Now, we come to a closing sextile aspect between them.
Graceful Venus and powerful Pluto now offer you the opportunity to begin actively planning for the new cycle that will begin in early January of 2018. This does not mean that what began last year will actually end (although that is a possibility, if it is necessary for your ultimate growth), it will, however, begin a new phase or a new level to your love relationship or your relationship to your resources or values.
Begin now to plan for the future you want. This extends and empowers the cycle between Jupiter and Venus that began last week.
Where do you plan to create more beauty and love in your life?

MOVE THE DREAM AHEAD
Wednesday, November 22, 2017:

Metamorphosis by Piet Mondrian via Wiki Media

The sometimes pessimistic Capricorn Moon forms a deeply challenging connection with the occasionally destructive Pluto. Watch any tendencies to engage in coercive power dynamics with others. With the Moon in Capricorn, the way to transform any dark edges of your heart is through disciplined responsibility and integrity.
On Wednesday, at 9:20 AM EST, Neptune stations to turn direct at 11° Pisces. Neptune has been moving retrograde since mid-June, and has been asking you to reevaluate an important dream, artistic venture, or spiritual path.
Consider a significant dream in your heart that has been on hold since that time. Over the coming days, this dream will come back to life and begin pushing forward.
For clues to what area of your life is being activated in this way, consider where Pisces falls in your chart. If you don’t know, allow your intuition to guide you.
Simply contemplate a dream you set aside in June that is now ready to move forward. Begin the process!

QUIRKY INNOVATIONS
Thursday, November 23, 2017:
In the early morning hours of Thursday, the serious Capricorn Moon engages in a stressful conversation with Uranus, the planet of upheaval, excitement, and, sometimes, stress. Don’t get wrapped up in any of it, allow stress to roll off your back. It will pass quickly.
At 3:15 PM EST, the Moon leaves hard-working Capricorn behind to enter innovative, humanitarian Aquarius. You may notice that you are not as attached to your own emotions and are able to be more objective regarding situations and circumstances you find yourself in. You are able to see the big picture without getting stuck in your own personal narrative.
At 7:05 PM EST, the quirky Aquarius Moon forms a lovely sextile aspect to the adventurous Sagittarius Sun opening the evening to the prospect of visionary explorations of people, cultures, and events.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:33 AM EST until she enters the Aquarius at 3:15 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

CLARITY IS OF VITAL IMPORTANCE
Friday, November 24, 2017:
I don’t generally talk about asteroids, minor planets, or comets, but with Friday’s early morning challenging square aspect from Mercury, the planet of our thoughts and communications, to Chiron, who represents our deep wounds and the healing of those wounds, this transit is worthy of our attention.
Chiron was originally labeled an asteroid and is now classified as a minor planet and a comet. With Thursday’s pattern between Chiron and Mercury in play, communications could hurt or heal; pay attention to your words. Check to make sure you are not misunderstanding others or being misunderstood. It may be difficult to read the intentions behind what is being said, clarity is vitally important.
With the Moon in Aquarius throughout the day, you are apt to be drawn toward what is new and unusual. You have the ability to be a bit more objective or even detached than usual. Spend time with others, plan for a future that includes the growth and importance of community, social gatherings and interactions.
You will require more freedom than usual, don’t try to keep yourself in anyone else’s boxes!

HUMANITARIAN VISIONING
Saturday, November 25, 2017:
Saturday is an incredibly Aquarian day! Not only is the Moon in Aquarius, but she is very active, forming connections with aggressive Mars, refined Venus, out-of-the-ordinary Uranus, mental Mercury, and stabilizing Saturn.
More importantly, Mercury is forming a lovely flowing trine aspects to Uranus (the ruling planet of Aquarius)! Aquarian energies abound.
What are Aquarius’ energies, you ask? Here is a simple list of keywords to consider: progressive, objective, innovative, unusual, revolutionary, and quirky. Days of hyper Aquarian energy tend to bring excitement, anxiety, or a combination of these, to the table.
This is an important day to gather with like-minded others to plan and prepare for a future that supports all of us. This is a day for humanitarian visioning. You are able to see beyond your personal needs and desires and see what is necessary for the good of all. Make a substantial donation (whatever that means in your current circumstances) to a cause that you deeply believe in.
The Aquarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 9:36 PM EST until she enters Pisces on Sunday morning at 3:04 AM EST.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

DREAM YOUR FUTURE
Sunday, November 26, 2017:
Long before you wake up on Sunday morning, the Moon leaves quirky, social Aquarius behind and enters Pisces. At 12:03 PM EST, the Pisces Moon forms a challenging square aspect to the Sagittarius Sun. This brings us to the First Quarter Square of the Lunar Cycle.
Consider what you began at the powerful Scorpio New Moon on Saturday, November 18th. It is important now to take some action that will push forward the growth of whatever idea or project you began at the New Moon.
This is a day to take action, to move something forward in the development of your future.
With the Moon in dreamy Pisces, you have the creative option of developing your plans through the visioning of the future. Reality may not seem very appealing but your imagination and intuition are strong. A perfect day for developing a vision board or a creative writing project that will support the process of creating your future reality.
Your feeling nature is deep; dream your future into being.

CURIOSITY IN COMMUNICATION
Monday, November 6, 2017:
Monday presents us with relatively calm but fully engaging day. The Moon is in inquisitive, perspective Gemini. Allow yourself to maintain an open attitude toward all the folks you encounter. Ask questions, encourage an open exchange, and share your unique perspectives with others. In all of this, show a deep level of respect and curiosity.
At 9:58 PM EST, the Gemini Moon opposes stabilizing, duty-bound Saturn. Go to sleep early enough and you won’t feel the heaviness that is often a part of this serious energy.

SENSITIVITY AND DEEP CONNECTION
Tuesday, November 7, 2017:
At 5:45 AM EST, the Moon enters protective, sensitive Cancer allowing the general emotional state of the day to turn inward. Shortly thereafter, Venus, the planet of deep, personal values, enters the powerful waters of Scorpio where she joins with both Jupiter and the Sun.
Over the coming days, Venus reaches out toward Jupiter, allowing the depth of passion and love to deepen and release. On November 13th, they will join together at 7 degrees Scorpio, beginning a new cycle of expanding the intensity of deep love and connection.
At 3:48 PM EST, the sensitive Cancer Moon forms a flowing trine aspect to expansive Jupiter. Allow deep love, connection, and prosperity to flow. Spend money, create art, and give love.
The Gemini Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:40 AM EST until she enters Cancer at 5:45 AM EST. LOL! Five whole minutes; you will probably be sleeping or brushing your teeth!

ALLOW THIS SNAG TO PASS
Wednesday, November 8, 2017:

Rouen, Rue de L’Epicerie by Camille Pissaro via Wiki Media

Wednesday morning brings a sense of belonging to your situation. Whether you spend your day at work, at home, alone, or in community there is a sense that you belong.
At 10:06 AM EST, that sense may hit a snag as someone in the environment may push an agenda or try to hold power or control over you. This is a simple Moon transit and is likely to be rather subtle and won’t last long. If you pay attention, you will, however, notice it. Perhaps, it is an internal thing where you are the one pushing the agenda or holding power over another. Go inward and check your own level of integrity.
In the very early hours of Thursday morning, the Cancer Moon also has a challenging aspect to unsettling, exciting, and sometimes defiant Uranus. Get to bed early and allow these energies to pass without distress. No early morning tweeting please! 🙂

BEGIN YOUR PLAN FOR 2018
Thursday, November 9, 2017:
Depending on how early you get up on Thursday morning, you may or may not encounter ongoing sensitivity from the past few days. At 7:30 AM EST, the Moon leaves emotional Cancer behind to enter exuberant Leo. You will be able to set aside that sensitivity and open yourself to a more generous and playful state of self-expression.
Another early morning event occurs at 7:12 AM EST, with the passionate Scorpio Sun forming a sextile aspect to subversive, transformative Pluto. The cycle between the Sun and Pluto (an annual cycle of empowerment or destruction) began on January 7, 2017.
As you prepare for the new cycle, which will begin in January of 2018, consider what you will need to release as you prepare for the next cycle. Simply stated, this as an important time to consider what needs to be released and to begin to plan for the new cycle ahead. Yes, begin to envision your personal intentions and strategies for 2018!
The Cancer Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 12:15 AM EST until she enters Leo at 7:30 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

A NIGHT FOR SELF-EXPRESSION
Friday, November 10, 2017:
I think you can anticipate a pleasant, even fun, morning. Get to work early, engage with others; show-up as your most authentic self while holding space for others to feel safe in their full personality expression as well. Folks will probably be feeling fairly positive and upbeat as they prepare for the weekend ahead.
Late afternoon may bring a bit of a slump as we reach the Third Quarter Moon phase at 3:37 PM EST. With the Sun in intensely private Scorpio and the Moon in playful, expressive Leo, there may be a conflict in how to move forward. Allow any stress to pass by observing without reacting to difficult (internal or external) interactions. Release and move forward, this is simply a Moon transit and will pass quickly if you do not engage with it.
If you are hoping for any party type activities, Friday is your night. Go to the theater, go dancing, engage with others in a big way, and enjoy playful expressions of all sorts.
Saturday night will be best suited for quieter endeavors.

PLAN FOR MAGIC
Saturday, November 11, 2017:
Start Saturday off with simple pleasures, a low-key yoga class, brunch with friends, or a walk in the woods. Whatever you choose to do early in the day, make sure you have no agenda other than enjoyment. Other energies and ideas are rattling around in your head through the morning hours but allow them to be non-obtrusive while you simply enjoy the morning.
Saturday’s flowing trine to inspirational Uranus brings focus to the afternoon as you are provided with the ability to explore new ideas and unusual innovations. Nail these ideas down, bring them into reality as you make definitive goals on which to build your most inspiring, inventive ideas.
Once the Moon enters industrious, efficient Virgo at 11:42 AM EST, commit those goals to paper. Sign and date your goal statements, revisit your statement regularly and allow magic to occur.
The Leo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:56 AM EST until she enters Virgo at 11:42 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

PRACTICAL DREAMS
Sunday, November 12, 2017:
Sunday may bring minor challenges but they are rather sweet challenges. 🙂
The Moon is in highly practical Virgo throughout the day, encouraging you to spend time on analytical or organizational projects. Perhaps, you simply need to do laundry and clean the house.
However, at 8:24 AM EST, the orderly Virgo Moon makes an opposition to dreamy, fanciful Neptune. With this aspect in play, you may want to open a bottle of champagne while you clean the house and do the laundry! Perhaps, you can take a break from the work to watch a movie, meditate, or simply rest and dream. A dreamy but analytical organizational day!
At 7:04 PM EST, when the Moon forms a flowing trine aspect to transformative Pluto, you can dive into gratitude and the depth of empowerment you are developing as you grow in self-understanding.
“There is no measuring with time, no year matters, and 10 years are nothing. Being an artist means, not reckoning and counting, but ripening like the tree which does not force it sap and stands confident in the storms of spring without the fear that after them may come no summer. It does come. But it comes only to the patient, who are there as though eternity lay before them, so unconcernedly still and wide. I learn it daily, learn it with pain to which I am grateful: patience is everything!”  ~ Rainer Maria Rilke

WELCOME THE SUN TO POWERFUL SCORPIO
Monday, October 23, 2017:
After we fall asleep on Sunday night and long before we awake Monday morning, the Sun makes its annual ingress into the intensely deep waters of Scorpio. We all recognize this time of year; we feel it in our bones.
Here, in the Northern Hemisphere, the darkness comes earlier each day. The shops are full of goblins, witches, black cats, and ghouls. You will notice that gravestones are cropping up on the neighbor’s lawns. Everyone, from old to young, is encouraged to prepare for the descent into darkness and to face it head on. Scorpio’s reputation is not an easy one!
In order to come out on the other side of darkness, we must go deep, we must encounter our own shadow, and we must face the inevitability of death. When we are able to do so, we are gifted with a transformation of perspective; we become the Phoenix – the beautiful, mystical bird, rising renewed from the ashes of the life left behind.
Scorpio shows us that avoiding the issues of darkness, depth, and death does not serve us. In order for the growth and transformation suggested in Scorpio and the rising of the Phoenix, we must face and transform our darkest shadows.
The Moon is in Sagittarius throughout the day easing us into this profound shift in seasonal energies. Allow the ease even as you feel pulled toward the depth.

DEEPENING INTROSPECTION
Tuesday, October 24, 2017:
On Tuesday, you must begin in earnest to adjust to the deepening introspection of this Scorpio season. Both Mercury (the planet of our thoughts, ideas, and communications) and Jupiter (the planet of expansion, philosophy, and understanding) preceded the Sun into this powerful and passionate sign.
No matter how much the Sagittarius Moon may want to keep the day on the lighter side, there is no denying the intensity under the surface. Allow the idealistic, wise Sagittarius Moon to expand your understanding of the deeply hidden issues that are being revealed in your personal life, your community, and in the culture around you.
Notice those in your inner circle of friends and neighbors, pay attention to those you rarely notice, the service providers who bring your food and check out your groceries. Each person you encounter has a profound inner life. Acknowledge their humanity with sincere eye contact and kindness.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 12:45 PM EDT until she enters Capricorn at 8:13 PM EDT.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

PLAN FOR FUTURE STABILIZATION

Autumn Landscape by Harald Sohlberg via Wiki Media

With the Moon in Capricorn when you awake on Wednesday morning, you find yourself in a general atmosphere of seriousness. You are aware of your responsibilities, commitments, and the areas of your life that may hold you earthbound.
Throughout the day, the stern Capricorn Moon forms sextile aspects to the deeply intense Scorpio Sun, expansive Jupiter, and dreamy Neptune. This suggests that today is an excellent time to make long term plans that will build more structure and stability into your life. Setting goals designed to create the life you desire through hard work and prudent development is a great way to use the energies of this day.
You won’t want to waste your precious time, attention, or resources on frivolous issues. You are able to see the reality of your situation and understand the steps available that will assist you in moving in the direction of your desires. Even in the midst of this cautious, serious day, you are able to see the possibilities of setting the steps that will support the forward motion of your life. Pay attention to your own integrity and make plans for future stabilization and growth.
With the sextile between the Moon and Neptune at 7:56 PM EDT, save the evening hours for dreaming of the results of all those plans!

CLARITY AND EXPANSION
Thursday, October 26, 2017:
The Moon continues through authoritative, mature Capricorn on Thursday. However, her relationship with the other planets is not quite as friendly as it was on Wednesday.
At 6:50 AM EDT, the Moon joins with powerful Pluto, pushing you to begin the day with deep contemplation of powerful issues or difficult power dynamics. Remember, this is a Moon transit and will not last through the whole day but may make the early-morning challenging.
Your confidence grows as the Sun joins with wise Jupiter at 2:09 PM EDT. This begins a one year cycle of expanding awareness through idealism and understanding. This is happening in the powerful transformative sign of Scorpio, the amplification may reveal much of what has been keep hidden in the depths of our awareness and hidden in our culture. Watch for more information on issues that result from the rampant misogyny in our world and the deep wounds we carry from what is held in darkness.
Where in your own life does a light need to be brought to what has been kept in darkness? Being courageous enough to shine a light into dark corners can bring expansion and healing into all those areas that have held such darkness. However, remember that we all are victims of misogyny, understanding and kindness are always appropriate… along with clarity and truth.

INTEGRITY IN PARTNERSHIP
Friday, October 27, 2017:
At 8:59 AM EDT, the Moon leaves the serious nature of Capricorn behind to enter the quirky, innovative sign of Aquarius. The Aquarius Moon will be with us throughout the weekend, so as you make plans for the coming days, keep in mind that it is a weekend meant for community building. Consider the importance of adding your voice to issues of humanitarianism and freedom.
At 6:23 PM EDT, we come to the First Quarter Square moon phase. Take time to consider the seeds that you planted at the New Moon last weekend and take action to push that process forward.
At 11:20 PM EDT, loving Venus forms a challenging square aspect to transformational Pluto. This will have a profound impact on the entire weekend so plan ahead. You may encounter energies that are deeply challenging to your closest partnerships or financial concerns; often, those issues are deeply entwined.
If you are involved in a healthy relationship, this can bring your relationship to a new level of connection and depth; although there will likely be some struggle to get there. If there are unhealthy power dynamics, this could signal the beginning of the end to the partnership. Remember, this does not only impact romantic or domestic partnerships but also business relationships and close friendships. Maintain awareness of your own integrity in your interactions with others, romantic and financial.
Shortly after, at 11:24 PM EDT, Mercury forms a sextile aspect to Pluto. You will do well to utilize this opportunity to speak-up and make your needs clear. Make sure your words are laced with kindness.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:23 AM EDT until she enters Aquarius at 8:59 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

RELATIONSHIP TRANSFORMATION
Saturday, October 28, 2017:
Late Friday night, we had two significant transits that will be strongly impacting Saturday.
Lovely Venus, the planet of all that we most dearly value, formed a challenging square aspect to transformational Pluto. This may profoundly impact your closest partnerships, love relationships, or financial concerns. Issues of love and money are often deeply entwined. In your loving connections, this may bring deep conversations and shifting dynamics that may deepen your love connection profoundly. However, if you are in a partnership that is unhealthy, cracks may appear at this time that will widen the gulf between you unless you are willing to do the hard work necessary.
You probably won’t see this shift in sibling or parent/child relationships but in romantic or domestic partnerships, friendships, or business partnerships. Maintain awareness of your own integrity in your interactions; look inward.
Mercury also forms an aspect to Pluto, in this case, a sextile, encouraging you to speak up in a way that is kind and yet, expresses your deepest needs and concerns.
The Moon continues through Aquarius on Saturday allowing you to remain calm and dispassionate, somewhat removed from the difficulty engendered by the conversation between Pluto and Venus. The Aquarius Moon helps us to be able to utilize the opportunity to say what needs to be said without getting carried away in stress or difficulty. Speak your mind with kindness and without too much attachment to the outcome.

ACCEPTANCE AND PROCESS
Sunday, October 29, 2017:
Sunday morning finds you in a state of acceptance as the objective Aquarius Moon forms a sextile to stable Saturn at 9:02 AM EDT. You will awake in consideration of the changes the past few days have brought to your love relationship or your connection to other deep values in your life (financial concerns or creative endeavors). Consider and accept reality as you plan the appropriate steps forward.
At 12:22 PM EDT, with the Moon sextile inspirational Uranus, you can tap into the anticipation of a new way of being. Think outside the box of conventional expectations. You can create your life and your partnerships on your own – and your partners’ – terms. Conversations on the changes that have occurred and are occurring will be valuable and continue to move your process forward.
The Moon continues through Aquarius until 7:47 PM EDT when she enters Pisces, now, you can relax into deep dreams-space as you prepare for the upcoming week.
The Aquarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 12:22 PM EDT until she enters Pisces at 7:47 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transits between the planets.  I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods.  I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
* The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
* The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

BEGIN THE PLAN
Monday, October 16, 2017:
This week begins on a much easier note than last week; thank goodness!
The Moon is in precise, efficient Virgo providing the ability for you to pay careful attention to the details, buckle down, and accomplish what needs to be done.
At 7:13 AM EDT, as you begin the day, the diplomatic Libra Sun forms a charming sextile aspect to hard-working Saturn. This is a good time to explore how you want to work with a new cycle of stabilization that will begin in late December when the Sun and Saturn conjunct at zero degrees Capricorn. Look at where zero degrees Capricorn falls in your chart; the house placement will tell you what area of life requires a major, meaningful new beginning.
Explore new ideas, get serious about this; begin to gather your thoughts about a very important, new endeavor to start in late December. As Saturn leaves Sagittarius behind to enter Capricorn, we will all begin to be engaged on more serious projects. Begin your preparation for that now.

THE MIND DEEPENS
Tuesday, October 17, 2017:
When you wake up on Tuesday morning, you may notice the quality of your mind has shifted to a very different state. While you slept, Mercury left Libra behind to enter Scorpio. While in Libra, your thinking and conversations have been focused on making things look good and maintaining, at least, the image of refinement and charm. Remember that Mercury represents the way you think, what you think about, and how you communicate and share information.
At 3:58 AM EDT, Mercury entered the still, deep, dark waters of Scorpio. While Mercury is in Scorpio (until November 5th), observe your mind as it becomes determined to search out what is hidden and goes deeply into private and introspective considerations.
Those who have undisclosed secrets can find themselves in a rough spot as those hidden issues may be revealed at this time.
At 1:34 PM EDT, the Moon enters lovely, polite Libra. Perhaps, you are not quite ready to go into those deep Scorpionic places yet or to bring them into the conversation. For the time being, you can allow your mind to go deep even as your heart remains discreet… there will be time to open to the full extent of what is revealed when the Moon enters Scorpio on Thursday night.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 7:27 AM EDT until she enters Libra at 1:34 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SHARE DEEP THOUGHTS
Wednesday, October 18, 2017:

With Mercury now in Scorpio, you are generally more likely to keep your own counsel, you may not be quick to share what may seem too dark or vulnerable. However, on Wednesday, mental Mercury joins with expansive Jupiter in the early morning hours. You can’t help but bring those deeply intense ideas out into the open. You long to share your deepest concerns, vulnerabilities, even your fears.
By sharing these deep issues with others, you are able to understand yourself more thoroughly. Pay close attention to who you chose to share yourself with and be willing to be a sounding board for others as they unload their deep concerns as well.
When the diplomatic Libra Moon forms a challenging square aspect to deeply intense Pluto at 9:03 PM EDT, you may question the wisdom of all that you have shared. Don’t worry, trust it, and go deep.
Darkness is easy to locate as we are in the Dark of the Moon, moving to the New Moon on Thursday.

LIBRA NEW MOON – SEEKING HARMONY AND GRACE
Thursday, October 19, 2017:
Even with the Moon in peaceful Libra, you may feel anxiety or excitement as the Sun challenges the unusual with the Sun opposing Uranus early on Thursday afternoon. The cycle between the Sun and Uranus is a cycle of personal freedom, originality, and detachment from conventional ideas and patterns that holds you back. The cycle between them began in mid-April of 2017. What excitement began at that time? How far have you come in moving forward on this path?
At this point, you can see and acknowledge your progress and you are able to determine how best to bring this issue forward into your life more fully in the coming months.
At 3:13 PM EDT, we reached the New Moon at 26° Libra. At this New Moon, you will want to plant a seed that will develop into love, grace, and harmony; over the coming weeks build on this theme. Create beauty in your life; bring love to others; set selfishness aside.
At 9:41 PM EDT, the Moon enters deep, transformative Scorpio. .When you fall asleep on Thursday night, look for dreams of the Phoenix, transformed, coming from the ash.
Thursday is a powerful day. Use it well.
The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:13 PM EDT until she enters Scorpio at 9:41 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

VERBALIZE YOUR SHADOW
Friday, October 20, 2017:
As the Moon begins her trek through mysterious Scorpio, she immediately bumps into expansive Jupiter and shortly thereafter joins with Mercury, the planet of communication and thought processes. This suggests that issues of intensity and depth may require verbal expression in ways that you may not even anticipate. The results of your words may have a larger impact than you expect. This will be a great morning for writing; write down your deepest secrets, your most intense inner shadow issues; allow healing to come through words expressed.
Most of the day is relatively quiet although you can expect to have a high degree of awareness regarding the shocking depth of transformation of what so many in the world are currently processing in their own lives. Spend time in deep inner work.
Do you know the practice of tonglen? Tonglen is a practice for soothing others and cultivating love and compassion. It is a gentle process of opening the heart by embracing, rather than rejecting, the unwanted and painful aspects of experience, we can help ourselves and others to overcome fear and develop greater empathy. Instruction here.
At 8:15 PM EDT, the Moon engages in a flowing trine aspect to dreamy Neptune, allow yourself to drift into an early sleep deeply connected to dream, fantasy, and inspiration.

RELEASE THE STORY
Saturday, October 21, 2017:
You can expect Saturday to be a relatively quiet day but one of great emotional depth and intensity. Early in the morning, the Scorpio Moon forms a sextile aspect to powerful Pluto, offering the opportunity to dig deeply into very private issues of power and control. You will want to get to the bottom of whatever issues present themselves and are willing to get your own hands dirty in the process. Truth and honesty are important to you but if you experience jealousy or obsessiveness, consider that you may be embroiled in some unwarranted paranoia as well.
If you have the sense that something untoward is unfolding, allow it to happen. Release the story that you feel wrapped up in and focus on the underlying issues of power and control. Let go of your attachment to having things as you expect or want them to be.
The Scorpio Moon reminds us each month of the importance of going deep, relaxing your hold, and releasing control in order for a more positive outcome than you may imagine.

THE COURAGE OF DIPLOMACY
Sunday, October 22, 2017:
The depth and intensity of the past few days, courtesy of the intense Scorpio Moon, can be set aside as the Moon enters optimistic Sagittarius at 7:57 AM EDT. With the Moon in freedom-loving Sagittarius, your emotional attention turns to travel, big ideas, and a higher understanding of the world and your place in it.
At 2:28 PM EDT, Mars, having been in orderly Virgo since September 5th, enters romantic, charming Libra. Mars represents the manner in which we take action, the way that we push ourselves forward with courage and purpose. While Mars was in Virgo, you may have noticed that you spent a lot of your attention busily looking at the details and attempting to perfect all your projects and physical activities.
Now, as Mars finds his way into diplomatic Libra, your thoughts and actions turn toward cooperation and balanced social interactions. Mars would prefer to be in aggressive Aries where he can simply take what he wants directly and assertively; however, while he moves through Libra until December 9th, he will teach us the importance, and even the courage it takes, to negotiate and allow human relationships to determine the direction forward.
Remember what your mother told you… ‘You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar’. 🙂
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 7:36 AM EDT until she enters Sagittarius at 7:57 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
