REVISIT YOUR DREAMS
Monday, June 18, 2018:
Monday’s practical Virgo Moon forms a flowing trine aspect to defiant Uranus early Monday morning allowing your emotional self to explore new ideas and ways of getting your needs met.
Later in the afternoon, she forms another sweet trine aspect to level-headed Saturn bringing a touch of reality to the conversation.
With the Moon in Virgo, you will notice yourself drawn toward practical activities. You will want to organize and analyze everything you do. You may have a hard time allowing ‘good-enough’ to be good enough. Don’t allow perfectionism to stop progress. Work on projects and issues that will benefit from paying particular attention to details.
Neptune turns retrograde at 7:27 PM EDT and will remain so until late November. This suggests a need to revisit, explore, and examine your understanding of your deepest imagination, your dreams, and your spirituality.
You will likely sleep through this but just in case: The Leo Moon is VOC* until she enters Virgo at 4:41 AM EDT on Monday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

EXPRESS VULNERABILITY
Tuesday, June 19, 2018:
The Virgo Moon keeps you chugging along doing practical chores and getting things done efficiently throughout the day.
However, during the mid-afternoon, Mercury in sensitive Cancer forms a flowing trine to expansive Jupiter. Conversations may move into unusual depths and the vulnerability expressed may surprise you.
Go with your gut instincts. Listen carefully and trust yourself to know how to respond. Perhaps, you are being called to help someone in deeper need than it appears. If you are the one expressing vulnerability, trust yourself in knowing who to share yourself with. Allow words to open your heart.

GRACE AND DECORUM
Wednesday, June 20, 2018:
Challenges arise with the Sun and Moon at odds (1st Quarter Square phase) at 6:51 AM EDT. It can be difficult to know what action to take but you know it is time to move forward with the understanding you gained since the New Moon last Wednesday.
At 8:30 AM EDT, the Moon enters diplomatic Libra, showing you that the best move forward is to face any issue with dispassionate objectivity. Libra asks that you put cooperation and an attitude of refinement ahead of other considerations. Face internal and external work with grace and decorum.
Since May 20th, the Sun has been in inquisitive, curious, fast-talking Gemini. Enjoy this one last day of Gemini. Thursday morning at 6:07 AM EDT the life-giving Sun enters nurturing, inward Cancer.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:51 AM EDT until she enters Libra at 8:30 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SUN ENTERS CANCER – PROTECTIVE MAMA BEAR
Thursday, June 21, 2018:
At 6:07 AM EDT, the Sun enters the intuitive, domestic sign of Cancer. I want to take this opportunity to clear up a misunderstanding I often see expressed about Cancer. Everyone seems to know that Cancer is sensitive, nurturing, and tender. However, many folks seem to conflate sensitivity with weakness. Please, make no mistake, Cancer is a powerful sign in its own right! Think the nurturing mother bear! Don’t ever mess with Cancer assuming she will not strike back!
While the Sun is in Cancer, you may feel more insular as your attention is drawn inward to your domestic life. Your focus turns to build deep roots and a sense of belonging.
Thursday starts the Cancer season with some clear challenges as an opposition forms between Venus and Mars. It may be hard to appreciate what you have as you keep looking over your shoulder for what you think you would prefer.
Even the cooperative Libra Moon isn’t in the best state to help the situation as she forms hard aspects with Mercury and Pluto. Watch your words and tendency to get hot under the collar. Remember, before you speak ask yourself three things: Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? If everything that comes out of your mouth passes that test, you will do fine!
This is unlikely to have much impact on Thursday but the Libra Moon is VOC* after 9:34 PM EDT Friday morning. She will be VOC* until 3:11 PM EDT on Friday when she will enter Scorpio. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

A QUIET DAY FOR CONTEMPLATION
Friday, June 22, 2018:
The Libra Moon is very quiet throughout the day being VOC* until entering Scorpio at 3:11 PM EDT. This is a good day to avoid making decisions or starting new projects, it is a good day for rest, meditation, dreaming, or enjoying vacation.
Once the Moon enters Scorpio, the reset button is hit and you can move forward more easily. You will be called to seek intensity, passion, and deep emotions of all kinds. You have a strong belief that knowledge is power, therefore, you are highly motivated to find out what makes people or situations ‘tick’.
Friday evening is underscored by the Moon opposing Uranus, exposing not only what is intense, deep, and hidden but also what is unusual or eccentric in some way. When the intense and the unusual come together, they always dig up something of interest. Keep your eyes open and enjoy.
The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) until she enters Scorpio at 3:11 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

IS IT TRUE? IS IT NECESSARY? IS IT KIND?
Saturday, June 23, 2018:
You can anticipate waking on Saturday still in the throes of the Sun sextile Uranus. You may carry the intensity of unusual family-centered dreams with you into the morning.
Unfortunately, the quirkiness and possible fun of that transit will likely be overshadowed by Mercury opposing Pluto at 5:26 AM EDT. Try to sleep late and then spend time alone with your thoughts and ideas. Mercury and Pluto can be used in deep contemplation, reading, and writing.
Don’t try to have significant or sensitive conversations, particularly with family members today. It would be too easy to end up in difficult power dynamics with things being said that are best left unsaid.
Once again, remember, before you speak ask yourself three things: Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Make sure all that you say on Saturday passes that test.
When the intense Scorpio Moon joins with joyful Jupiter at 5:11 PM EDT, you can let down your guard a bit and make connections that can end in a lovely nighttime of dreamy connection when Moon trines whimsical Neptune at 10:23 PM EDT.

UNDER THE SURFACE
Sunday, June 24, 2018:
Sunday is by far the easier day of the weekend. The deeply profound Scorpio Moon makes nice contact with Pluto and Mercury, encouraging any deep work necessary to sooth any ruffled feathers from Saturday.
After 10:00 AM EDT, we enter another long VOC Moon allowing time to simply be with all that has occurred over the weekend. Rest, relax, allow yourself to have no agenda or expectations.
With the Moon in Scorpio, this relaxation is not light and airy, there is a depth that you may go to as you focus your mind and allow emotions to bubble to the surface. Under that surface, there is much transformation and powerful healing work occurring. For now, just rest and allow it to work its magic under the surface.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 10:00 AM EDT until she enters Sagittarius early Monday morning (12:30 AM EDT). When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

“We use astrology most constructively and creatively when we gain from it a sense of what is possible for us at the highest levels of our potentialities. Seeing that, the challenges is then to keep our eyes open to life itself, to be able to respond appropriately when some event or change of circumstances…”

DEPTH AND INTROSPECTION
Monday, March 5, 2018:
At 8:23 AM EST, the Moon enters deeply personal and introspective Scorpio. You may prefer to spend the day alone contemplating deeply intense issues of a mysterious or private nature. If you must work on Monday, you may find it easy to discover what is at the root of any workplace mysteries.
This is a good day for searching out what is below the surface or, conversely, a good time to hide issues that are best kept undercover. You may know better than usual how to ask the right questions to get to the root or to evade questions asked of you. Days with a Scorpio Moon are not days of casual conversations or connections. Everything seems deeper, more profound, and with more significant meaning.
The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:19 AM EST until she enters Scorpio at 8:23 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
Mystical Pisces season is about to end with Mercury and Venus entering Aries on Tuesday. You can expect less emotion and more action.

SET THE DREAM ASIDE – TAKE ACTION
Tuesday, March 6, 2018:
By the time you awake on Tuesday, Mercury has entered assertive, action-oriented Aries. The dream state of the past month is broken and it is time to face the mental and intellectual activity that has been brewing below the surface. Mercury has been in Pisces since February 17th, encouraging passive and imaginative thought processes.
Now, it is time to put the words on paper or speak them aloud. If you have had things to reveal but the time has not seemed right, you are moving closer to the tipping point now. Mercury will remain in Aries until May 13th, with Mercury retrograde beginning on March 22nd.
Evening brings lovely Venus into Aries as well. The dream and the fantasy break as you know it is time to face reality. Get clear on your individual values, take the steps necessary to make your relationship and your finances work over the coming months. All that has been put on the back burner throughout the Pisces season is now ready to push forward.
The powerful, private Scorpio Moon forms a lovely trine aspect to both dreamy Neptune and the Pisces Sun throughout the day. Life has a gentle flow even as words, thoughts, and communications come more directly and easily.

SEEK NEW DIRECTIONS
Wednesday, March 7, 2018:
Both the flow and the ability to take action continue into Wednesday with a tiny touch of the dream still intact. It is not always easy to release our most lovely fantasies.
At 5:03 PM EST, the Moon enters Sagittarius, lightening your emotional nature and assisting in forward motion. Spend the evening with folks who engage your thinking and your spirit in looking forward to new directions.

Spring by John Reinhard Weguelin via Wiki Media

Consider new perspectives and new directions. What do you want to learn? Where do you want to travel? Who do you want to understand that you currently don’t? Ask questions, get curious, and don’t get stuck in your own already stale thinking. Look at where your life is stuck and move the dial in a new direction.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:55 AM EST until she enters Sagittarius at 5:03 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

RE-EXAMINE WHAT HAS BEEN EXCAVATED SINCE OCTOBER
Thursday, March 8, 2018:
Late on Wednesday night, the Sagittarius Moon forms an easy trine to Mercury, helping Thursday morning to begin with a simple sense of intellectual growth and stimulation. Your mood is likely to be social, friendly, and upbeat. Sagittarius is a mutable fire sign, suggesting physical vitality and ease of adaptability.
Study and curiosity come easily. You will want to socialize with acquaintances who have a variety of perspectives. You will be bored with the same old stories, preferring to find new directions and see the world through the eyes of others.
Sagittarius encourages us to learn through travel and the experience of other cultures.
At the end of the day, (11:45 PM EST), Jupiter stations retrograde at 23° Scorpio. Consider what has been being excavated, explored, and expanded in your life since Jupiter entered Scorpio in early October. Watch how individuals and the culture continue to work through the issues of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements. Examine where you’ve/we’ve been and how best to proceed when Jupiter moves forward on July 10th.

CREATE SPACE FOR AN EXCITING EVENING
Friday, March 9, 2018:
At 6:20 AM EST, we reach the 3rd Quarter Moon. This is a stressful square aspect formed between the Pisces Sun and the Moon in Sagittarius. It is time to let go of something that has been developing over the past 3 weeks.
Both Pisces and Sagittarius are mutable signs, this is not anything that you would consider high stress as mutable signs are adaptable, not making much of a fuss even if they don’t necessarily agree with each other. The letting go should be almost effortless.
The Sagittarius Moon joins with assertive Mars and forms a lovely trine with Uranus on Friday evening, offering a potentially exciting evening. This is not a night to stay home alone. Get out into the world to engage with others who will make your heart sing.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 9:28 PM EST until she enters Capricorn at 4:52 AM EST on Saturday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

BUILD YOUR FUTURE
Saturday, March 10, 2018:
By the time you awake on Saturday morning, the Moon has entered mature, authoritative, and disciplined Capricorn. Throughout the day, there are stressful aspects from the Moon to Venus, Mercury, and, finally, a conjunction with Saturn at 9:05 PM EST.
You are likely to be strongly aware of a renewed need to build structure and planning around the dreams that you have recently been swimming in. You are newly aware of the limitations of time and the reality of aging. You are motivated by this pressing and sobering reality. Consider the structures that you need to build to create the future you desire.
As the day progresses, Sunday morning’s aspects come clearly to the table. It is a mixed bag indeed but first, you will face a challenging square from Mercury to Saturn (2:00 AM EST, Sunday morning). You may feel that it is hard to make yourself understood and the seriousness of your mind and thinking may feel heavy and even depressing. Saturday evening is best used in a serious study, preparing for, planning, or building for your future.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 9:28 PM EST Friday night until she enters Capricorn at Saturday morning at 4:52 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

COME OUT OF HIDING
Sunday, March 11, 2018:
Sunday continues with the cautious, authoritative Capricorn Moon and the lingering Mercury square to Saturn. Life does not feel inconsequential or light. However, there are powerful and exciting aspects being formed early in the day. Yes, continue to plan for your future even as you allow excitement and empowerment to move you.
At 7:22 AM EST, Mars forms a smooth flowing trine aspect to Uranus, pushing you into intense excitement or powerful anxiety. Which will it be? Make a plan that allows space for excitement. Consider what began in February of 2017 and see how this weekend’s excitement or anxiety stems from that. Watch and consider cultural and political changes. Expect the unexpected.
This may offer new perspectives as you move forward with confidence in your most progressive ideas and goals.
At 7:56 PM EST, the Sun, still in Pisces, forms a lovely sextile to powerful Pluto offering the opportunity to attract and hold attention with your innate sense of self. Find and build confidence as you look into corners of your personality that have long been hidden.

FOSTER KINDNESS
Monday, January 29, 2018:
Monday morning begins with a dreamy trine aspect from the deeply sensitive Cancer Moon to Neptune at 10:19 AM EST. You may find it difficult to face the realities of the workday. Much of your consciousness longs to remain floating in Dreamtime.
At 9:34 PM EST, the Moon forms an opposition to Pluto. This could trigger a return to difficult interpersonal patterns that you hoped were in the past. Old resentments may raise their ugly heads. Consider that what you are reacting to may have little to do with the current situation and much more to do with patterns from the past.
Head to bed early, don’t allow this quickly passing transit to impact the week.
Keep attuned to and foster the protective side of the sensitive, nurturing Cancer Moon.

ANTICIPATE OPENING
Tuesday, January 30, 2018:
With a pre-dawn, challenging square aspect formed from the Moon to Uranus at 5:45 AM EST, you may awake on Tuesday morning with a bit of anxiety from an interaction before sleep or uncomfortable dreams. Allow that stress to pass and move into the day.
At 1:53 PM EST, the Moon allows us to set aside our moodiness as she enters playful Leo. It is true that you will not have access to nurturing type sensitivity, but the tradeoff is that you will likely feel more optimistic and upbeat.
At 6:12 PM EST with a lovely trine from the Moon to Mars (in Sagittarius), you are able to express your generosity and creativity in an open, playfully dramatic manner.
Wednesday morning will bring the Leo Full Moon; enjoy the sense of ‘almost there’! Think of a flower about to open, the petals straining within the bud. Where do you feel that anticipation in your life now?
The Cancer Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 11:41 AM EST until she enters Leo at 1:53 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

LEO FULL MOON: BALANCE FEMININE ENERGIES
Wednesday, January 31, 2018:
January ends on a powerful note. At 8:27 AM EST, we come to the Leo Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse which falls at 11° Leo. A Lunar Eclipse deepens the intensity of the Full Moon.

Madalena Cabral by Ana Cabral Campos via Wiki Media

Each Full Moon brings us to a point of clarity. The direction of what began two weeks ago at the New Moon should show its face clearly. Wednesday’s Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is aligned with an opposition to Venus, the planet that relates to the feminine principle, as does the Moon itself. Venus represents the feminine ideals of beauty, resources, and the ability to form loving partnerships. The Moon represents the feminine ideals of mothering, protecting, and nurturing. Remember, this has nothing whatsoever to do with gender; all of us, regardless of gender, have the Moon and Venus in our charts. We each share both feminine and masculine attributes within our personal patterns. With an opposition between these two energies, this aspect suggests the importance of considering how these sides of your feminine nature seek reconciliation.
Look at the opposing houses that are ruled by Leo and Aquarius in your personal chart. This is where you are currently seeking this balance. Opposing houses can be seen as two sides of the same coin. Bring them together. If you do not know your chart well enough to understand this, simply consider where in your life you need to bring balance to personal issues vs collective issues, generosity vs restraint, ownership vs freedom.
At 8:39 PM EST, Mercury, the planet of your thinking mind, enters wildly innovative Aquarius. Mercury will remain in Aquarius until she enters Pisces on February 18, 2018. Enjoy and take advantage of the sharpness of mind that is available as Mercury moves through this Fixed Air Sign. Aquarius is considered the sign of genius, not because of extreme intelligence but because it allows the mind to move in directions and go into places it has never gone before. During this time, allow your mind and wild imagination free reign!

HOLD STEADY
Thursday, February 1, 2018:
Thursday begins with the Moon still in flashy, dramatic Leo. However, she is much quieter than normal, responding in a subdued manner throughout the morning. You would probably prefer to spend the day involved in a personal creative project. By the time the Moon enters Virgo at 2:13 PM EST, you will finally feel ready to pay attention to any necessary details and concentrate on slow, steady effort.
At 8:49 PM EST, the sometimes overly particular Virgo Moon forms a challenging square aspect to Mars. It would be quite easy to get into a hotheaded argument that you would soon regret. Let aggravations roll off your back, as long as you don’t engage that energy the evening will settle down.
At 10:21 PM EST, the refined Virgo Moon forms a stabilizing, steadfast trine aspect to Saturn, allowing you to fall asleep with ease and renewal.
The Leo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:59 AM EST until she enters Virgo at 2:13 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

ANALYSIS AND ADJUSTMENTS
Friday, February 2, 2018:
Friday holds very little astrological activity. In the absence of major planetary movement, we have the Moon to consider. Remember, that the Moon takes approximately 2 ½ days to transit through each of the signs of the zodiac. Life cooperates with us when we cooperate with life. Go with the energy of the sign the Moon is passing through.
The one aspect the Virgo Moon makes is an opposition to Neptune at 11:29 AM EST, this brings some challenge to your ability to find clarity in the details. Take a dreaming break and by mid-afternoon, clarity will return.
The Moon is in Virgo, asking that we find a steady pace of activities that focus on meticulous efficiency and even nitpicking detail. Focus on tasks that require concentration and analysis. Look for practical solutions and do your best to avoid criticism and judgment of yourself and others.
Look carefully at your health regime and make adjustments as necessary. This is not an evening that would be much fun for social playfulness. You are more inclined to staying home and puttering with home projects or preparations for the weeks ahead.

COME TOGETHER
Saturday, February 3, 2018:
With the Moon in Virgo early in the day, you can continue with your mundane projects and tasks (like cleaning out the closets and pruning your houseplants). However, there is a good deal more energy available as you move into the day.
At 10:57 AM EST, with a lovely sextile aspect between Mercury (the planet of mind and communication) and Mars (the planet of direct action) you are offered an opportunity to speak your truth and take action on your words. Innovative ideas have the opportunity to unfold into wise and optimistic action.
At 4:47 PM EST, the Moon enters Libra suggesting the desire for a more social evening ahead. With the Moon in refined Libra, you may find yourself more aware and concerned with creating harmony in all personal interactions. You want to create pleasure and be appropriate.
This may be a challenging evening to be clear about what you truly want for yourself but an easier evening to find consensus. Remember, Libra is represented by the scales and all sides of every issue must be examined and balanced. This is a great time for romance and friendly social gatherings. Come together.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:06 AM EST until she enters Libra at 4:47 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

OVERINDULGENCE IS NOT SO BAD 🙂
Sunday, February 4, 2018:
Perhaps, you went overboard with your romantic or social desire to please others on Saturday evening. Maybe you find yourself on Sunday morning in a situation where you and a friend or partner are busy overindulging yourself and each other. Are you are not looking honestly at what you need to do to grow in wisdom and understanding of your relationship and how it fits into the overall vision for your life? This is not something you need to do anything about right now, just being aware of it will help you to make different choices as you move forward in this particular relationship.
Early in the afternoon, with a square from the Libra Moon to Saturn, you may be cranky and simply need time alone. Give yourself that time and be ready to come back to a friend, partner, or lover later in the afternoon for a lovely evening. The Moon forms a delightful trine aspect to Sun at 9:36 PM EST, ending the day on a note of support and love.

“There is no measuring with time, no year matters, and 10 years are nothing. Being an artist means, not reckoning and counting, but ripening like the tree which does not force its sap and stands confident in the storms of Spring without the fear that after them may come no Summer. It does come. But it comes only to the patient, who are there as though eternity lay before them, so unconcernedly still and wide. I learn it daily, learn it with pain to which I am grateful: patience is everything!”

2018 is bringing great change, possible growth, and focus on some area of your life. Prepare to make the most of these powerful shifting winds with a consultation with Laurie at Astrolore!
Set up your appointment today.

The night sky is very quiet right now with Jupiter and Mars coming over the horizon in the early morning hours. Venus is currently situated directly on the other side of the Sun from Earth. She will slowly edge away from the Sun’s glare over the coming weeks. By late February, she will begin her brilliant evening display which will last through September of 2018.

INTEGRITY PAVES THE WAY
Monday, January 8, 2018:
Monday brings us into a powerhouse of a week as Venus, the planet of love and beauty, joins with the Sun in its Superior Conjunction, when it is on the other side of the Sun. This aspect becomes fully expressed early Tuesday.
The Sun and Venus join with Pluto early on Tuesday as well, impacting the early part of the week powerfully.
Along with the deep and empowered conversation, these three planets are having, the Sun and Venus each form a supportive sextile aspect to expansive Jupiter.
Venus and the Sun, later in the week, also sextile with assertive Mars as Mars and Jupiter travel together through the deep waters of Scorpio.
There is a powerful opportunity here for the serious empowerment of love and of the feminine to break down the overblown patriarchal connection to negative sexuality, violence, and unhealthy aggression.
While in Saturn, the Sun, Venus, and Pluto are all in Saturn’s domicile of Capricorn, prepare to watch how integrity is rewarded and lack of integrity receives its comeuppance.
This is the year that we each must tell the truth and receive the supportive gifts or wrath of the Universe.
You may experience a sense of great relief along with these three sextiles on Monday morning. Consider how the sextile of the Sun and Venus to Jupiter turns your attention toward what brings meaning to your life and asks you to seek out others who share your passions and your goals.
Another sextile is formed between Mars and Pluto offering assistance as you commit yourself to the direction of those passions and goals.
There will likely be some stress in the evening as the Libra Moon, wanting to make everyone happy, encounters others who may not want to support the agenda. Relax and allow the more powerful conversations of the day to hold the space for powerful movement.

LOVE PAVES THE WAY
Tuesday, January 9, 2018:
The significant conjunction between the Sun, Venus, and Pluto is exact in the early hours of Tuesday morning. This brings powerful development as love and the feminine break down elements of negative masculinity, the misuse of sexuality, and violence.
In the coming months with Saturn, the Sun, Venus, and Pluto all in Saturn’s domicile of Capricorn, integrity must overtake control and greed. We must each do our part to uphold our love for the Universe and each other.
The Moon lingers in diplomatic Libra until mid-afternoon, forming a gently agreeable sextile to Mercury at 11:13 AM EST. This allows for engagement in conversations that encourage understanding and connection.
At 3:06 PM EST, the Moon leaves agreeable Libra behind and enters passionate Scorpio, closely followed by Venus sextile Mars at 4:07 PM EST. The conversations suggested for Tuesday afternoon may lead to romance or at the very least a purposeful and passionate connection. A pleasantly assertive Sun sextile Mars shortly after midnight,t heightens the possibility of romance.
The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 11:13 AM EST until she enters Scorpio at 3:06 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

REST IN FLOW
Wednesday, January 10, 2018:
Following the intensity of Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday offers a day to rest and allow yourself to daydream and reflect.

At 2:40 PM EST, the Scorpio Moon forms a flowing trine aspect to dreamy, sensitive Neptune.
Allow yourself to get lost in daydreaming, watch a film, engage in whatever activity brings you to a place of ‘flow’; spend time in meditation, listen to soothing music, or create something that comes from your deepest sense of mystical oneness.
Thursday will remove your access to easy mental flow as Mercury entering Capricorn, where it will remain until January 31st, brings your mind to the stern edge of reality. Integrity remains in the limelight for each of us and the culture at large.

THOUGHTS DEEPEN
Thursday, January 11, 2018:
I hope you were able to enjoy the sense of flow that was available on Wednesday as it may be the last opportunity for such bliss, at least until Mercury enters Aquarius at the end of January.
As you begin the day, Mercury has joined Saturn, the Sun, Venus, and Pluto in cautious, serious Capricorn. This is a large pile-up in a very restrictive sign. If you know what house Capricorn holds in your chart, you will understand where the focus of hard work and increasing responsibility lies. This is the area of your life that came into focus in late December and will require ongoing attention and effort over the next few years. Make sure you are engaging in this area of your life with the highest integrity, maturity, and sustained effort. The reality of your situation will show where you need to deepen your attention and tell the truth about your commitment.
The Scorpio Moon forms a passionate conjunction with Mars at 7:35 AM EST. This will awaken you with strong energy to move forward. Shortly thereafter, she forms lovely sextile aspects to both the Sun and Venus, suggesting pleasant, intimate interactions with those you love. Take advantage, it should be a sweet morning leading into a quiet afternoon and evening.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 9:54 AM EST until she enters Sagittarius at 2:04 AM EST on Friday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

EXPAND YOUR VIEW
Friday, January 12, 2018:
By the time you begin the day on Friday, the Moon is in idealistic, freedom-seeking Sagittarius. This suggests an emotional need for autonomy, physical space, and exploration. Sagittarius is an optimistic sign and brings relief after the intensity of the past few days with the Scorpio Moon. You are more apt to see the humor and lightness of your circumstances and are ready to explore a more expansive view of the world and those around you.
Although the day is likely to be relatively upbeat, by evening, you may feel Mercury’s connection to Saturn looming. Communications and conversations seem to highlight the differences between yourself and others. There are indeed serious issues to consider but try not to fall into the trap of pessimistic thinking.
Be aware of your own self-talk and how you speak to others. Offer open-hearted kindness and resist the temptation to judge them. Remember, you know only your own mind and your own life, there is no space to judge the lives of others. Seek out true compassion.

AUTONOMY AND FREEDOM
Saturday, January 13, 2018:
Your best bet this weekend is to spend time alone.
Saturday begins with a heightened awareness of how differently you think from those around you and conflict arises easily. You may feel pessimistic and easily frustrated or aggravated. This is reflected in the early-morning conjunction from Mercury to Saturn.
The day does not get easier from there. At 2:08 PM EST, Venus forms a troubling square aspect to Uranus putting you at odds with your loved ones. We will all need a sense of autonomy and freedom. Taking time for yourself is the smartest choice you can make.
It is unlikely that you and those you love will want to go in the same direction, so go ahead and go your separate ways. Allowing that to be okay and supporting each other in this choice will support each of you. There is no need to explain yourself. We all need time alone.
As Venus sextiles Chiron at 9:51 PM EST, any issues of abandonment that came from the separation are able to be healed. Connect deeply on Saturday night as you will again need time alone on Sunday.

RESTLESSNESS AND DISTANCE
Sunday, January 14, 2018:
If you assume that needing time alone was a one-off for Saturday, you’ll be in for a surprise when the same need shows up on Sunday thanks to a restless, unsettling square between the serious Capricorn Sun and detached eccentric Uranus.
The Moon enters Capricorn at 2:43 PM EST increasing a need for emotional distance. Again, give yourself and others lots of physical and emotional space. This would be a good day to work on individual, innovative projects that require long-term effort.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:48 AM EST until she enters Capricorn at 2:43 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

“For most of life, nothing wonderful happens. If you don’t enjoy getting up and working and finishing your work and sitting down to a meal with family or friends, then the chances are you’re not going to be very happy. If someone bases his/her happiness on major events like a great job, huge amounts of money, a flawlessly happy marriage or a trip to Paris, that person isn’t going to be happy much of the time. If, on the other hand, happiness depends on a good breakfast, flowers in the yard, a drink or a nap, then we are more likely to live with quite a bit of happiness.” ~ Andy Rooney

SUPER SENSITIVE CANCER FULL MOON
Monday, January 1, 2018:
The year begins with the focus squarely on family and emotional security with the Full Moon at 11° Cancer. If you are not able to be with biological family, make sure you are engaged in connections with others that have a similar familial quality.
You may notice yourself unusually interested in creating or deepening powerful loving bonds. Family bonds are not easy and require work to be supportive and provide the safety you are looking for. Do not shy away from the necessary effort.
This sensitive Cancer Moon has serious conversations with Saturn, Venus, and the Sun, suggesting the work and effort bring what is necessary into focus.
The evening brings a lovely Neptunian dreamy quality that helps you to release the seriousness of the early part of the day and engage in loving dreams of the future.

PROFOUND CHANGE MOVES FORWARD
Tuesday, January 2, 2018:
As the Capricorn Sun inches closer to powerful Pluto, we feel the intensity of the year ahead. Love and compassion may not come easily with the Full Moon opposing Saturn, Venus, and the Sun but are much required going forward.
The serious Capricorn Sun forms a sweet sextile aspect to Neptune early in the day, allowing the possibility of making contact with a mystical or imaginative side of yourself. This will be a great day to work on any project that fully engages your creativity and the softer side of your imagination. Perhaps, it is time to re-engage your meditation practice, yoga practice, writing practice, or any other daily practice that puts you in the presence of your own divinity.
Uranus turns direct at 24° Aries after being retrograde since August 3, 2017. If you have planets between 22° and 24° Aries, you can expect excitement, unexpected news or upheaval. Something has been on hold since August that will now move forward, shifting your life along with the direct motion.
If you were born between April 11 -14, July 14 – 17, October 15 – 18, or January 12 – 15, your Sun is being affected. As much as possible, go with the flow that presents itself and do not fight against the change that is in front of you. This is a major life transformation that takes at least a year to navigate. Your best life is on the other side of this transit. A full consultation will help you understand how to go with the flow involved and avoid the fear-based tendency to fight against it. Please contact me.
The Cancer Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:46 PM EST until she enters Leo at 2:23 AM EST on Wednesday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

ROMANCE AND FLOWERS
Wednesday, January 3, 2018:
By the time the day begins on Wednesday, the Moon leaves the sensitivity of Cancer behind to enter Leo, where she encourages you to express yourself unabashedly through play, generosity, and creativity.

At 12:38 PM EST, comfort-seeking Venus forms a lovely sextile aspect to Neptune, the planet of romance and mysticism. This aspect mirrors the transit between the Sun and Neptune that occurred on Tuesday. Again, you are encouraged to make contact with a very sensitive, perhaps deeply spiritual side of yourself.
You are also reminded to re-engage any daily practices in your life that you have been neglecting through this holiday season. Get back on the meditation cushion, yoga mat, get back into nature, or open your writing journal once again.
This is a great day to shop for clothes or other items of decoration for yourself or your home, as your sense of beauty is highly engaged.
When Venus and Neptune dance together, they also encourage romance, love, desire, and sensitivity.
You deserve flowers on the table and a candlelit meal with a loved one or even on your own.

GIVE OF YOURSELF THROUGH PLAY
Thursday, January 4, 2018:
Thursday’s Leo Moon encourages warmth, generosity, and full undiluted expression of your most authentic self. From another perspective, you (or those around you) could possibly get stuck in arrogance and easily hurt feelings. If you focus on what you can offer others, rather than what you can get for yourself, this will be a fun day with lots of potential excitement and unusual conversations.
The optimistic Leo Moon forms a Grand Trine to communicative Mercury and humanitarian, quirky Uranus in the evening. Creative social activities can prove highly positive. Your feeling nature may seem a bit over the top as your dramatic nature is apt to reveal itself with grand feelings and gestures.
Enjoy fun times with folks that appreciate you for your most unique wild side. If you have children in your life… take them sledding or find some way to engage on their level. Give of yourself through play.
The Leo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:10 PM EST until she enters Virgo at 3:11 AM EST on Friday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

NOTICE THE DETAILS
Friday, January 5, 2018:
Friday begins with the Moon in diligent, self-contained Virgo. The unabashed self-expression of the past few days brings you up against the need to become more competent and to pay more attention to details.
If you pay attention, you will realize how much easier it is while the Moon is in Virgo to take on a serious endeavor that requires efficiency and putting your nose to the grindstone.
The Virgo Moon will bring you face to face with your inner perfectionist and critic. Be aware of your tendency to expect more from others that they may be capable of. If you express expectations that someone is unable to deliver, you may inadvertently push them into old spaces of guilt, shame, and critical self-judgment.
Be kind to yourself and others. It is more important now than you realize. Please be kind.

INNOVATIVE IDEAS MEET EXPANSIVE GROWTH
Saturday, January 6, 2018:
Two significant aspects occur on Saturday that has a wider range of impact than a simple moon transit. At 6:38 PM EST, Mercury (the planet of mind) forms a flowing trine aspect to Uranus. This suggests delightful and innovative thinking, communications, and ideas. Watch for unexpected epiphanies, unusual, or exciting communications, and unique progressive thoughts.
In May of 2017, Uranus and Mercury joined together, beginning a cycle of creative and innovative thinking. In October, there was likely a result of that new way of thinking or communicating. Try to identify what occurred in May, what was revealed about it in October, and now needs to be expressed to others. What have you learned that can be beneficially shared with others?
Perhaps, this is the time to create that podcast or blog that you’ve been thinking about? Perhaps, it is time to allow someone to understand your mind in a new way; to create a new form or method of communication? In some way, it is time to reveal your progressive thinking in a public way.
Also, dynamic Mars conjoins with expansive Jupiter at 17° Scorpio, beginning a cycle of assertive growth, courageous generosity, or frustrated idealism. If you were born between November 7-10, February 3-6, May 5-8, or August 7-10, this will have a powerful personal impact on you. Set an intention to courageously expand your personal reach toward self-growth. This is a significant year for you to reach beyond the places you have been stuck. Contact me – let’s talk.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 9:51 PM EST until she enters Libra on Saturday morning at 7:14 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

BRING BEAUTY INTO YOUR LIFE
Sunday, January 7, 2018:
With the Moon passing through cooperative, graceful Libra on Sunday, your focus will be on creating order through diplomacy and pleasing interactions with others. You will also want to create a beautiful environment within which those interactions can occur. You are more able than usual to set aside your own agenda in order to avoid confrontations and achieve the peace you long for.
It may be difficult to make clear decisions without the input of others as you do not want to lose the approval of those around you. This is a good day to engage in cooperative activities that require teamwork.
You may hit a snag when the Moon squares Saturn at 11:09 AM EST. Stay with it, work your way through that snag in order to learn a great deal about yourself and your ability to work constructively with others.
Create beauty in your home and your relationships; spend time creating art or visiting a museum. It will be deeply soothing to bring as much beauty into your life as possible.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) until she enters Libra at 7:14 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
