UPBEAT (FOR THE MOST PART) START TO THE DAY
Monday, November 20, 2017:
The Moon is in Sagittarius throughout Monday, offering a generally upbeat and lighthearted start to the week.
Keep in mind that the sign the Moon is traveling through on any given day sets the emotional tone for the day. The aspects the Moon makes to other planets brings us face to face with the energy of those planets in a way that is represented by the aspect in question, some supportive and others challenging.
If you wake up very early, the optimistic Sagittarius Moon may be quite talkative, as she meets up with perceptive chatty Mercury at 5:37 AM EST.
Mid-afternoon, the Moon connects with Chiron (the planet that represents a deep felt wound) in Pisces. This suggests a challenge between your opinions and the reality of your circumstance.
At 4:44 PM EST, she forms a beautiful flowing trine to Uranus. You can expect excitement or possibly stress, something that amps up the conversation and the day.
At 7:27 PM EST, she makes her final aspect of the day, joining with Saturn at 26° Sagittarius. You may feel let down or in some manner restricted, sad or lonely. Allow yourself to settle in and look clearly at the reality of the situation. It is not so bad and will pass quickly if you don’t get pulled into any dramas.  Please go out of your way to be extra kind to yourself and those around you on Monday evening.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 7:27 PM EST until she enters Capricorn on Tuesday morning at 2:14 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SUN ENTERS SAGITTARIUS – SEEK HIGHER UNDERSTANDING
Tuesday, November 21, 2017:
The big news on Tuesday comes at 10:04 PM EST. when the Sun, following her long haul through the deep, passionate waters of Scorpio, now enters fun-loving, explorative Sagittarius! Over the coming month, we reach out to understand and see the bigger picture and the perspective of others.
The emotional environment of the day turns serious as the Moon enters hard-working and realistic Capricorn at 2:14 AM EST.
Take time on Tuesday to think back to your situation and circumstances in late November of 2016. At that time, a cycle began that has been profoundly transforming your personal values, resources, or a love relationship. Do you remember something specific beginning at that time?
Since then, the cycle between Venus and Pluto has proceeded forward as the energy between these two grew, the transformation began, culminated, and is now waning. Whatever began at that time came to full fruition in mid-August, 2017. Now, we come to a closing sextile aspect between them.
Graceful Venus and powerful Pluto now offer you the opportunity to begin actively planning for the new cycle that will begin in early January of 2018. This does not mean that what began last year will actually end (although that is a possibility, if it is necessary for your ultimate growth), it will, however, begin a new phase or a new level to your love relationship or your relationship to your resources or values.
Begin now to plan for the future you want. This extends and empowers the cycle between Jupiter and Venus that began last week.
Where do you plan to create more beauty and love in your life?

MOVE THE DREAM AHEAD
Wednesday, November 22, 2017:

Metamorphosis by Piet Mondrian via Wiki Media

The sometimes pessimistic Capricorn Moon forms a deeply challenging connection with the occasionally destructive Pluto. Watch any tendencies to engage in coercive power dynamics with others. With the Moon in Capricorn, the way to transform any dark edges of your heart is through disciplined responsibility and integrity.
On Wednesday, at 9:20 AM EST, Neptune stations to turn direct at 11° Pisces. Neptune has been moving retrograde since mid-June, and has been asking you to reevaluate an important dream, artistic venture, or spiritual path.
Consider a significant dream in your heart that has been on hold since that time. Over the coming days, this dream will come back to life and begin pushing forward.
For clues to what area of your life is being activated in this way, consider where Pisces falls in your chart. If you don’t know, allow your intuition to guide you.
Simply contemplate a dream you set aside in June that is now ready to move forward. Begin the process!

QUIRKY INNOVATIONS
Thursday, November 23, 2017:
In the early morning hours of Thursday, the serious Capricorn Moon engages in a stressful conversation with Uranus, the planet of upheaval, excitement, and, sometimes, stress. Don’t get wrapped up in any of it, allow stress to roll off your back. It will pass quickly.
At 3:15 PM EST, the Moon leaves hard-working Capricorn behind to enter innovative, humanitarian Aquarius. You may notice that you are not as attached to your own emotions and are able to be more objective regarding situations and circumstances you find yourself in. You are able to see the big picture without getting stuck in your own personal narrative.
At 7:05 PM EST, the quirky Aquarius Moon forms a lovely sextile aspect to the adventurous Sagittarius Sun opening the evening to the prospect of visionary explorations of people, cultures, and events.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:33 AM EST until she enters the Aquarius at 3:15 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

CLARITY IS OF VITAL IMPORTANCE
Friday, November 24, 2017:
I don’t generally talk about asteroids, minor planets, or comets, but with Friday’s early morning challenging square aspect from Mercury, the planet of our thoughts and communications, to Chiron, who represents our deep wounds and the healing of those wounds, this transit is worthy of our attention.
Chiron was originally labeled an asteroid and is now classified as a minor planet and a comet. With Thursday’s pattern between Chiron and Mercury in play, communications could hurt or heal; pay attention to your words. Check to make sure you are not misunderstanding others or being misunderstood. It may be difficult to read the intentions behind what is being said, clarity is vitally important.
With the Moon in Aquarius throughout the day, you are apt to be drawn toward what is new and unusual. You have the ability to be a bit more objective or even detached than usual. Spend time with others, plan for a future that includes the growth and importance of community, social gatherings and interactions.
You will require more freedom than usual, don’t try to keep yourself in anyone else’s boxes!

HUMANITARIAN VISIONING
Saturday, November 25, 2017:
Saturday is an incredibly Aquarian day! Not only is the Moon in Aquarius, but she is very active, forming connections with aggressive Mars, refined Venus, out-of-the-ordinary Uranus, mental Mercury, and stabilizing Saturn.
More importantly, Mercury is forming a lovely flowing trine aspects to Uranus (the ruling planet of Aquarius)! Aquarian energies abound.
What are Aquarius’ energies, you ask? Here is a simple list of keywords to consider: progressive, objective, innovative, unusual, revolutionary, and quirky. Days of hyper Aquarian energy tend to bring excitement, anxiety, or a combination of these, to the table.
This is an important day to gather with like-minded others to plan and prepare for a future that supports all of us. This is a day for humanitarian visioning. You are able to see beyond your personal needs and desires and see what is necessary for the good of all. Make a substantial donation (whatever that means in your current circumstances) to a cause that you deeply believe in.
The Aquarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 9:36 PM EST until she enters Pisces on Sunday morning at 3:04 AM EST.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

DREAM YOUR FUTURE
Sunday, November 26, 2017:
Long before you wake up on Sunday morning, the Moon leaves quirky, social Aquarius behind and enters Pisces. At 12:03 PM EST, the Pisces Moon forms a challenging square aspect to the Sagittarius Sun. This brings us to the First Quarter Square of the Lunar Cycle.
Consider what you began at the powerful Scorpio New Moon on Saturday, November 18th. It is important now to take some action that will push forward the growth of whatever idea or project you began at the New Moon.
This is a day to take action, to move something forward in the development of your future.
With the Moon in dreamy Pisces, you have the creative option of developing your plans through the visioning of the future. Reality may not seem very appealing but your imagination and intuition are strong. A perfect day for developing a vision board or a creative writing project that will support the process of creating your future reality.
Your feeling nature is deep; dream your future into being.

CONTEMPLATE THE SEEDS OF A NEW STUDY
Monday, September 25, 2017:
The week begins with seriously mixed signals. The Moon in Sagittarius provides an optimistic atmosphere, an idealistic view, and an expansive vision of the future.
However, it will be largely overshadowed when, at 10:35AM EDT, Mercury, the planet of thought and communication forms a challenging square aspect to realistic, hardworking Saturn. Saturn provides limitations and restrictions in order for us to face the reality of our responsibilities. This is not an easy or a fun transit but it will push you to do what needs to be done in order to develop mature clarity in your thoughts and plans. The cycle between Mercury and Saturn is an annual cycle as Mercury takes approximate a year to move fully around the ecliptic.
Think back to what you were thinking, planning, or studying in November of 2016. As this is the Third Quarter Square of this cycle, it is time to begin wrapping up and finalizing that project, study, or thought process.
Now is the time to consider what serious new project, study, or contemplation you want to begin when the new cycle begins in approximately 2 months. As you consider releasing the past, begin contemplating the seeds of the future. Difficult challenges that come your way on Wednesday will point you in the direction of what part of your life is winding down or preparing to be moved in a new direction.

A MATTER OF BALANCE
Tuesday, September 26, 2017:
With Monday’s intellectual challenge (Mercury square Saturn), winding down you will be more attuned to the easy going Sagittarius Moon on Tuesday. With the Moon in Sagittarius, you tend to feel positive about the direction of your life. Your thoughts turn in the direction of expanding your philosophical perceptions, a desire to gain greater understanding of your place in the world and culture, and to view how others fit into this larger view as well. You want to see through the eyes of others to gain clarity and understanding; you also seek adventure with a strong desire for the freedom to travel and see the world.
The only glitch in the system is when the emotional Moon joins with restrictive Saturn at 8:16 PM EDT. As you wind down the day, you are reminded that you still have reality to consider. You may want to engage with travel and freedom, but there is still your job, responsibilities, and bills to pay.
It’s okay, it is a matter of balance. The joy of life and the challenges of hard work and responsibilities must exist in harmony, side by side, hand in hand.

CLEAR GOALS AND KINDNESS
Wednesday, September 27, 2017:
Wednesday begins with the independent Sagittarius Moon forming lovely aspects to both optimistic Jupiter and eccentric Uranus. This suggests a morning of unexpected pleasures and perhaps unusual surprises. Do keep in mind that the Moon will be VOC* (see below) between 7:09 AM EDT and 12:25 PM EDT. Keep a low profile and enjoy whatever the morning offers.

Autumn in America, Oneida County, New York by Albert Bierstadt via Wiki Media

At 12:25 PM EDT, the emotional environment will change considerably as the Moon leaves joyful Sagittarius behind to enter disciplined Capricorn. While the Moon is in Capricorn, your focus will move toward more serious, realistic issues. Your attention will turn toward the practical and necessary steps you need to take at this time of your life.
This is a great afternoon to work on developing clear goals and plans in significant areas of your life. Given the option you will likely choose work and duty over fun or emotional connections. Please be cognizant of how you treat others. Sometimes when the Moon is in Capricorn, we can be so responsible, serious, and practical that we forget to be kind.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 7:09 AM EDT until she enters Capricorn at 12:25 PM EDT.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

STANDING IN YOUR POWER
Thursday, September 28, 2017:
Very late Wednesday night, we reach the First Quarter Moon with the Moon still in serious Capricorn. This offers a simple reminder to look back at the New Moon on September 20th and consider the seed you planted at that time and take action to move your intention forward.
Also, while you slept very early Thursday night, expansive Jupiter (at 27° Libra) opposed unconventional Uranus (at 27° Aries). This suggests the possibility of a large, unexpected surprise that has its roots in something that began between mid-2010 and the beginning of 2011.*
When you think of the cycle between Jupiter and Uranus, understand that it is a cycle of expanding the unusual, enlarging the revolutionary mind. Whatever began in 2010 and 2011 shows its full results now? What personal internal revolution did you begin at that time? Where has it brought you?
Pluto turns direct at 3:36 PM EDT after having been retrograde since April. Some area of deep inner contemplation is complete; you are ready to stand more fully in the light of your own power. Wherever 16 degrees Capricorn falls in your chart, will help you understand the area of this personal empowerment.
*Googling political issues of that time (mid 2010 – early 2011) will surprise you… as will your own calendars and journals. You can’t make this stuff up.

MEDITATE, DREAM, CREATE
Friday, September 29, 2017:
The disciplined Capricorn Moon will be with us throughout Friday. Other than a bit of anxiety or excitement around 7:20 PM EDT, the daytime hours are stable, steady, and serious
At 8:11 PM EDT. Venus, the planet that represents our personal values of love, beauty, and resources forms an opposition aspect to Neptune, the planet of illusions and dreams. This can be a very romantic connection; do enjoy the romance but remember that Neptune will cloud your vision, you may have those rose tinted glasses firmly affixed and may wake up a few days later with a whole different understanding of the situation.
In exploring the entire cycle of Venus and Neptune, consider what romantic (or otherwise beautiful) vision around love or money began in January of 2017. What do you see your choices at that time have created over the past 9 months?
This is a great day for imagination, meditation, dreams, and visions. This is not a great day for clarity, precision, or accuracy. Dance, paint, meditate, dream.
At 8:42 PM EDT, Mercury enters Libra after being in Virgo for the past three weeks. Allow your thoughts to turn toward love and beauty. You and those around you will be more willing to compromise and able to see issues from other perspectives.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 8:14 PM EDT until she enters Aquarius shortly after midnight (12:41 AM EDT Saturday morning). Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

DIFFERENT DRUMMER
Saturday, September 30, 2017:
“If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.” ~ Henry David Thoreau
Following the last few serious days of mature stability, courtesy of the Capricorn Moon, on Saturday, you awake to a very different emotional environment. At 12:41 AM EDT, the Moon enters innovative, open-minded Aquarius putting issues of humanitarianism in the spotlight.
Saturday will be best utilized by seeking situations where you can engage with like-minded others for the purpose of improving the plight of all. Aquarius is an Air sign, engaging us in unusual intellectual pursuits that will forward the culture in revolution or innovation. You may feel inclined toward unexpected insights, rebellious ideas, and spontaneous actions.
The afternoon and evening bring lovely flowing aspects to both mental Mercury and the all-powerful Sun. Meet with community, allow ideas and plans to flow. Move your life forward in unusual. unpredictable ways. This is a day to go your own way, with others of like mind, not a day to follow the conventional crowd.

PUSH STEADY
Sunday, October 1, 2017:
Sunday has some similarities to Saturday as we continue working with others for the betterment of the whole human race.
However, there is a powerful drive now that will push you firmly forward. With directive Mars forming a beautiful trine aspect to highly influential Pluto at 7:36 PM EDT, you have the wherewithal to propel your agenda forward with power and assurance. You may notice a strong drive to excel or succeed in some situation that has the potential to bring very positive results.
Throw yourself wholeheartedly into whatever began around October of 2016. Think back to that time. What powerful intent were you focused on at that time?  Your determination is very strong. Push steady with concentration; the time is at hand.

Thank you all for your patience as I have tried to work out the technical challenges that prevented the blog post from showing up in your email last week. If you are reading this, we have successfully solved the mysterious Mercury retrograde issue!
As a prelude to this week’s post, I want to remind you a bit about the Moon. The Moon moves very quickly through the twelve signs, spending approximately two to two and a half days in each astrological sign as it circles the zodiac. In her travels, the Moon forms aspects to other planets and the effects are brief. The effects of the Moon are only shifting moods and personal feelings.
The only time the transits of the Moon cause real difficulties is if we fall victim to these quickly shifting feelings. The best way to handle difficult emotions is to breathe through them, notice them, and allow them to dissolve into the background.
We can release these quickly changing issues and not become a victim to our emotions. The other aspects formed between planets last longer and need more attention and effort to work with. Pay attention.

REMOVE YOUR BLINDERS
Monday, August 28, 2017:
If you wake up early on Monday morning, you may be cranky and agitated. This reflects an early morning square of the intense Scorpio Moon to aggravated Mars at 5:38 AM EDT.
Following that brief encounter, the Moon is introspective and quiet throughout the day. No other aspects are formed during her passage through Scorpio (See below related to her VOC*).
At 3:48 PM EDT, the Moon enters optimistic, far-seeing Sagittarius. This is a good afternoon to seek out people or situations that will show you the world from a different perspective. Find inner acceptance and curiosity and explore the way others view the world.
While the Moon is in Sagittarius, you are willing to move outside your own small world to explore what it means to see another point of view. How do others view their culture, ideology, or spiritual understanding?
This is the ideal evening to plan a trip, watch a travel documentary, or have dinner at the new ethnic restaurant that has recently opened in your town. Understand that each of us had our own view, take off your blinders and move beyond.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:38 AM EDT until she enters Sagittarius at 3:48 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

VISIONARY WISDOM
Tuesday, August 29, 2017:
The Moon is in freedom-seeking, philosophical Sagittarius on Tuesday. The day begins with the First Quarter Moon, following last week’s Full Solar Eclipse.
Whatever you began at the Solar Eclipse is now ready to be acted upon.
At the First Quarter phase, the Moon forms a stressful square aspect to the Sun, currently in orderly Virgo. Consider how the Virgo Sun pushes us to be productive and analytical while the Sagittarius Moon creates a need for freedom and independence. These conflicting energies push at us, demanding that we make a response. Discomfort requires action.
Ask yourself what actions will move me in the direction that I have recently understood as necessary? How can you use the dedicated work ethic of Virgo to support the growth and expansion of visionary wisdom in your life?

MAKE PLANS FOR A SOCIAL EVENING
Wednesday, August 30, 2017:
You can normally count on the Sagittarius Moon to bring us a happy-go-lucky day. However, Wednesday does not start out feeling that way! The morning brings a conjunction of the Moon to controlling, heavy-handed Saturn. This may leave you feeling somewhat heavy and downtrodden. Again, remember, this is a quickly passing Moon transit, breathe through it and allow it to pass. While it persists, use this energy to consider your direction and make serious choices about how to move forward.
A bit later in the day, things lighten up as the Moon leaves Saturn behind to form lovely aspects that bring us into the evening. At 11:39 AM EDT, she offers enthusiasm and opportunities with a sextile to Jupiter.
At 9:28 PM EDT, the Moon offers dynamic initiative and self-confidence with a trine to Mars in generous, playful Leo. Get out of the house and enjoy some social time with friends and loved ones Wednesday evening.

ENERGIZED MIND SUPPORTS GROWTH
Thursday, August 31, 2017:
By the time you start the day on Thursday, the Moon (which suggests the emotional environment of the day) has entered persistent, disciplined Capricorn. Get to the office early and you can get a great deal accomplished while the Moon is in this authoritative, hard-working sign. This is a day when you will take your responsibilities seriously. It will benefit you to look at the reality of all your circumstances from a mature, cautious perspective.
At 11:28 AM EDT, Mercury is still retrograde and re-enters expressive, creative Leo. This should lighten your outlook and allow your mind to tap into vital creativity. You can express your inspiration in a serious manner that will support future, realistic growth.
This is not a social time but one where your best efforts will come from working on serious projects in solitude. Consider the Mountain Goat that represents Capricorn. She reaches the top of that mountain through her own ambition and in solitude. Reflect on this as you tackle your own personal mountain.

DESIGN YOUR FUTURE
Friday, September 1, 2017:
On Friday, we have another day with the Moon in serious, hard-working Capricorn. At 6:21 AM EDT, she forms a sweet sextile aspect to mystical Neptune and this starts the day with a dreamy edge. It may be hard to wake up and begin the day. However, the dreaminess will pass quickly.
Once you get to the office, you will be ready to push ahead into planning the best path forward for your work, reputation, and career. There is emotional seriousness in the air. You may find that you are highly aware of certain realities in your life regarding the movement and passage of time. You will likely want to spend the day solo and may become impatient with others if you are not able to work alone.
Your focus is on what you are trying to build and create, your ambition is high,  and you are ready to make serious plans for the direction of your path. This will be an excellent day to sit down and work on your formal goals. Focus on what you want to create and get clear and specific about how you are going to go about it.

UNPREDICTABLE EXCITEMENT
Saturday, September 2, 2017:
The serious, hardworking nature of the Capricorn Moon is up-ended through a powerful trine aspect from bold Mars to unconventional Uranus at 8:13 AM EDT. This transit will energize and awaken your inner defiance and humanitarian efforts. Consider your most non-conformist, revolutionary beliefs and endeavors.
On Saturday, the universe assists each of us in leaping forward into the unknown. There are risks that must be taken and ideas that others may not like that must be expressed.
At 12:30 PM EDT, the Moon forms a challenging square aspect to Uranus, increasing the general unpredictability and your desire to take inspired risks.
At 4:06 PM EDT, when the Moon entries unpredictable, progressive Aquarius your excitement and possibly anxiety are further heightened. Gather with like-minded others, go ahead and do what is not expected of you. Follow the dictates and beliefs of your own passionate heart.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 12:30 AM EDT until she enters Aquarius at 4:06 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

WAIT WITH THOSE WORDS
Sunday, September 3, 2017:
In the wee hours of Sunday morning, perceptive Mercury joins with self-determined Mars. You may get the day started much earlier than you had anticipated. Your mind, your understanding, and your communications will be creative, assertive and highly independent. If you have sensitive communications that must be delivered and are tempted to do that now, wait! Mercury turns direct in just a few days, it can wait!
Even if you are not angry, your words may come out sounding as though you are.
This is a great day to work with ideas, thoughts, and words. Put them on paper, get creative, and dramatic with your words. Putting them onto paper will keep others from feeling threatened when those words are expressed with dramatic assertiveness (Mercury and Mars are both in powerful Leo).
At 11:49 AM EDT, the independent Aquarius Moon forms an opposition to relationship oriented Venus. You may have some disagreements with a loved one on how you want to spend the day. You may be tempted to go your separate ways. That will work fine but is not necessary as this Moon transit will pass quickly.
Consider a social occasion on Sunday evening.

SHARE LOVE, EXPRESS LOVE
Monday, November 28, 2016:
You may have the sense today that you are holding your breath. Are you waiting for the next shoe to fall? We can see where this is playing out on a cultural and social level but what about in your private life?
Monday is quiet; it is best to allow flow without insisting on focused accomplishment.
We are in the Dark of the Moon with the New Moon coming on Tuesday morning. The Moon is also VOC* until 3:46 PM EST.
Spending time with an inward focus is your best bet.  Once the Moon enters Sagittarius at 3:46 PM EST, you will feel uplifted. The late afternoon and evening will present opportunities to expand your understanding of other cultures, world-views, and manners in which others live their lives.  Open to deep tolerance, understanding, and compassion. Share love. Express love.
The week begins with the Scorpio Moon VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) until 3:46 PM EST when she enters Sagittarius. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

SAGITTARIUS NEW MOON: FREEDOM & UNDERSTANDING
Tuesday, November 29, 2016:
The Sagittarius New Moon is exact at 7:19 AM EST. Plant a seed of freedom for your own life and for the lives of all humans. Personal freedom will always leave a bitter taste in your mouth when you know that others do not share your access to those basic freedoms. Therefore, it is important that you plant this seed for the sake of all humans.
At 3:20 PM EST, Venus square Uranus, brings your attention to the more unconventional aspects of your values and you relationships. This energy can bring spontaneous excitement and unexpected change to your usual ways of engaging with others. Expect the unexpected in love and money.
Please take time on Tuesday to do a simple New Moon ritual. You will want to complete the ritual after the exact time of the New Moon and within 24 hours. The Sagittarius New Moon brings powerful energy for the development of freedom and the understanding of the world-view that others hold. Set an intention regarding the ability to share your beliefs and opinions and to hold, with great understanding, the beliefs of others who hold vastly different world-views.
Don’t neglect this New Moon ritual. Keep it simple. Take a moment to write down what you wish to begin, create, and increase in the upcoming cycle. Have two candles available for your ritual. Light the first candle to represent yourself, just as you are at this moment in time. Light the second candle as an aspiration of what you want to create. Each day, take a moment to focus on yourself as you light the first candle. As you light the second candle, focus on drawing to you what you are creating, as you bring the two candles closer together. At the Full Moon in two weeks, bring them fully together and see the results of what you have created.
Share this ritual with your friends and loved ones.
Tuesday’s New Moon at 7 degrees Sagittarius insists that you (we) plant a seed of freedom, perspective, and higher understanding. Plant this seed of freedom for yourself and for the benefit of all humanity.

ENVISION THE IDEAL

Wednesday’s Sagittarius Moon is very active. You may wake with serious or difficult dreams in the early morning hours as the Moon conjoins restrictive Saturn (3:16 AM EST). Allow that energy to shift into excitement and open your thinking to inspiration as the Sagittarius Moon trines electrifying and unusual Uranus at 9:45 AM EST.
The most significant message of the day comes with the Sun’s square to dreamy Neptune at 8:16 PM EST. This energy will resonate through Wednesday and Thursday. Look back at a dream that began in February 2016.  Now it is time to let go of unrealistic aspects of that dream in order to begin a more elevated dream in February 2017.
Begin to consider what you will create out of the cycle you are beginning to release now. You have enough distance and accumulated knowledge to allow the release of the parts of the dream that are no longer viable. Allow yourself to dream, to envision the ideal, to understand impressions, and to work with the intangible that forms the basis of this world. Spread loving kindness.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 11:08 PM EST until she enters Capricorn on Wednesday at 3:53 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

BRING FORTH HOPE AND COURAGE
Thursday, December 1, 2016:
By the time you wake up on Thursday morning, the Moon is in disciplined, hardworking Capricorn, which offers a day of seriousness and focused effort.
However, at this time we can expect the focus to be less on solitary work and more on working together to reach a powerful goal that has great significance moving forward.
At 10:46 PM EST, impulsive Mars (in humanitarian Aquarius) forms a trine (a free flow of energy) to self-confident Jupiter, powerfully impacting both Thursday and Friday.
Consider what began (personally and culturally) in mid-October 2015. At that time, we began a cycle of expanding strength, understanding our combined wisdom, and fighting for protection. That cycle has now brought us to a point where the floodgates have opened!
Give of yourself to the cause you believe in. Bring hope, give financially, and show confidence in the outcome. The full result of this current effort will be clear in late February. Hold on; use your frustration to pour fourth courage and belief in a better future for all.

CLARITY AND DETERMINATION
Friday, December 2, 2016:
The optimistic self-confidence and courage you experienced on Thursday remains throughout Friday. However, this is not without complications. As the ambitious authoritative Capricorn Moon makes contact with Pluto at 11:28 AM EST, you may feel overwhelmed by the powerful forces that oppose you.
Maintaining equilibrium may be tricky but when Mercury (the planet of thinking, analyzing, and strategizing) enters Capricorn at 4:17 PM EST you may find yourself viewing the world and your personal situation with a focus on integrity, more interest in self-discipline, and a renewed acceptance of your personal responsibilities.  Gather clarity and determination to focus on the reality of what you know must be done.
At 8:58 PM EST, as the Moon squares defiant Uranus anxiety may kick in. Look for innovative inspiration that will assist you in finding the best path forward. Look in unexpected places. Allow unusual ideas to stimulate a different perspective.

AFTER A SERIOUS DAY, KICK UP YOUR HEELS!
Saturday, December 3, 2016:
Saturday begins slowly with the Moon VOC* moving through conventional, serious Capricorn. Until the Moon enters unconventional Aquarius at 2:35 PM EST, it will be best to utilize the day by engaging in serious but simple routine activities that will forward your personal ambitions. You will feel best and be able to enjoy Saturday evening and Sunday more thoroughly if you get something concrete, however simple, accomplished.
Your best use of the day will be solitary. We all need time alone and Saturday before 2:43 PM EST is a great time to claim for the enjoyment of solitude.
Once the Moon enters unconventional Aquarius, you can let down your hair, set aside the serious mask you wore throughout the morning and make plans to engage with others Saturday evening or Sunday. The past few weeks have been terribly serious and challenging. Saturday evening is time to take a break, kick up your heels, and find gatherings of like-minded people to commiserate or party with.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:17 AM EST until 2:43 PM EST when she enters Aquarius. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

CURIOSITY AND INTEREST
Sunday, December 4, 2016:
Everything feels lighter on Sunday. This is a simple day with the Moon in unconventional progressive Aquarius. A sextile from the Moon to the Sagittarius Sun at 3:57 PM EST offers curiosity and excitement as you seek new interests, ideas, and ways of moving forward.
This is the Crescent Moon Phase; that the seed you planted at Tuesday’s New Moon needs to be watered with your explorations and commitment to what you intend to grow. What can you learn now that will help you take a step forward next Wednesday at the First Quarter Lunar Phase? The process today is exploration and curiosity.
Enjoy time with like-minded friends and community members. Remember, we all need each other; the energies that we add to the collective are of major importance to all of us at this time in our shared history.
The Aquarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:34 AM EST until she enters for now at 4:35 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

ENJOY ‘CREEPY’ PLAY – HALLOWEEN
Monday, October 31, 2016:
Halloween falls on a day perfect for the holiday. The sensitive Moon is in mysterious Scorpio enabling us to look into the face of all that is anticipated for this traditionally ‘creepy’ holiday.
At the same time, it is a calm day astrologically; you won’t need to worry about the intensity of ‘creepy play’ spilling into real world fears or compulsions. The Moon makes charming aspects to both Pluto (representing the underworld) and Mars (representing strength and courage) enabling you to play with these energies while learning about yourself through the reality of what is being expressed.  Go ahead and play; enjoy the expression of all that calls to you from the other side of the veil.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 10:44 PM EDT until she enters Sagittarius on Tuesday at 10:44 AM EDT.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

DREAMS AND EXPLORATIONS
Tuesday, November 1, 2016:
You may wake up on Tuesday morning with a deep desire to stay in your warm space of sleep and dreams. Of course, most of you will need to get up and start the day but there is nothing to stop you from bringing your dreams with you.
At 4:16 AM EDT, the vital Sun trines transcendent Neptune encouraging you to continue feeding the dream that began last February. It should be easy to simply roll with the sense that things are not as they appear to be. Do you feel overly sensitive, perhaps even confused or dreamy?
If there was a dream or a powerful impression that began last February, bring your awareness to how you can now utilize what that dream brought into your life. What do you bring to the table now because of how that dream has changed you and your path forward?
Allow yourself to enjoy a sense of groundlessness, a diffuse dreamy state on Tuesday. Trust where you find yourself; allow intuition to guide your steps. Show others what you have learned by trusting your intuition and inspirations.
When the gentle Moon enters philosophical Sagittarius at 10:44 AM EDT, you can expect an increase in physical energy and in your desire for exploration. When the Moon is in Sagittarius, it is always a good time to plan a trip or explore differences of culture and lifestyle. On a Tuesday night, you probably won’t be taking the next jet out of the country to explore the world, but you can sit at home and enjoy a great documentary that may help you understand how others live, love, and experience the full range of their lives.
Tuesday begins with the Scorpio Moon VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) until she enters Sagittarius at 10:44 AM EDT.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

SHIFT GEARS
Wednesday, November 2, 2016:
Enjoy the delightful, optimistic Sagittarius Moon for one more day. Wednesday begins with a sextile from the receptive Moon to expansive Jupiter at 9:59 AM EDT.  You may find yourself longing for life to present you with experiences that will enrich and enlarge your life and your mind.  You may feel that life is bigger than you thought. Everything feels larger than life. Hold onto that sense of excitement and freedom for as long as you can.
Say YES to anyone who offers opportunities for emotional expansion and excitement.
When the Moon conjoins Saturn at 4:10 PM EDT, you will likely be brought back to reality regardless of your desires or best intentions.  Go ahead and shift gears. Allow yourself to set the excitement aside to look into the eyes of reality.
While you sleep on Wednesday night (during in the wee hours of Thursday morning), Mercury sextile Pluto. Before you go to bed on Wednesday night, make sure you have pen and paper by your bed to record your dreams. You may have intense dreams of successfully releasing ways of thinking that you have been stuck with for many years.  Pay attention and release.

EXPRESS POWERFUL IDEAS
Thursday, November 3, 2016:
At the breakfast table on Thursday morning, be sure to get everyone involved in talking about your dreams from Wednesday night.
At 1:09 AM EDT, Mercury sextile Pluto bringing powerful ideas and thoughts to mind. Since you were probably asleep at that time, those ideas probably expressed themselves in your dreams. This aspect will remain active throughout the day offering you the opportunity to speak about some important issue that you have been hesitant to talk about.
This is the day to speak about, write about, or somehow communicate a significant truth. There is an excellent chance that your fears around this communication will simply disappear as soon as you say what needs to be said.
With the Moon VOC* all day, there is little chance that much will come of this communication. Nevertheless, it will smooth the path, and release fear, for the changes ahead, as your mind grows in understanding.
At 11:05 PM EDT, the Moon will leave behind the lightness of Sagittarius and move into rigid, serious Capricorn. You can look forward to a productive day on Friday.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:36 AM EDT until she enters Capricorn at 11:05 PM EDT.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

ACCOMPLISHMENT & EFFORT
Friday, November 4, 2016:
Friday is a day to express ambition and make sure your integrity level is up to par. Move into the day with a clear idea of what you can realistically accomplish while holding true to your highest ideals. This is a serious day but one with few complications (until evening when you begin to feel the Venus trine Uranus, which will be exact early Saturday morning).
Keep your nose to the grindstone and your feet planted firmly on the ground. Focus on the completion of any prior commitments or move forward with projects of an organizational nature.
As you head into the evening, the energy shifts and you will feel the excitement or anxiety that is calling from the outside world. There may be more surprises.
The U.S. elections have shown and continue to show us, so much that is deeply disturbing and powerfully unnerving.  It is clear how much we have to gain and lose in the days ahead. This is the time to make sure you are talking amongst yourselves.
Make sure your friends and  loved ones are going to vote next week. The future is in your hands.  This is the weekend to volunteer at the phone banks for your political choices. Don’t neglect your responsibility to push us all forward to a better tomorrow.

SENSITIVITY AND EXCITEMENT
Saturday, November 5, 2016:
As Saturday begins, remember to pay attention, not only to the intensity of the outer world, but also to the development of your closest partnerships and love relationships. Finding a balance between the outer world and the inner world is crucial at this time. Neither one can be neglected.
You may get unexpected or unusual information about a loved one or see a side of a situation you were not anticipating. Refined harmonious Venus trine revolutionary unconventional Uranus at 2:23 AM EDT, this transit will stay with us throughout the day. This may be experienced as exciting, something you can see in a positive light for the greater good.
However, at 5:26 AM EDT the highly sensitive Moon joins with powerful Pluto beginning the day with deeply intense emotion. You may feel highly capable, even powerful, as you work to manage this depth of emotion.
At 5:48 PM EDT, the reactionary Moon squares defiant Uranus bringing an element of friction to the evening. Your desire to maintain stability through routine and limiting structures is brought into question. Allow yourself to break the out of control and cynicism on Saturday.  Add the unusual to the evening. Do something unexpected to bring your true authentic self forward.

MAINTAIN EQUILIBRIUM
Sunday, November 6, 2016:
On Sunday morning, we enter Daylight Savings Time in the U.S.; as we move forward this will be reflected in Astrolore’s posts. If you live in another time zone, please adjust accordingly.
Here in the USA, everything is so ramped up in the current presidential elections. It is challenging to maintain our equilibrium. However, Sunday is a day to do your best to simply sit with exactly where you find yourself. You are very likely surrounding yourselves with folks who believe much as you do about the candidates and the outcomes. Otherwise your stress level would be over the Moon! 😉
With the emotional Moon entering Aquarius at 8:56 AM EST, this is a day to spend with like-minded friends. I would tell you to rest from all of the anxiety swimming around this issue but we all know that is not possible. Let’s hope we can get back to normal over the next few weeks. For now, hold steady in the company of those who have your back.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 4:57 AM EST until she enters Aquarius at 8:56 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.
Sending light & love, Laurie
