Do you feel the relief now that Mars is moving forward? He will take a while to get up to speed but each day he moves a bit more quickly, encouraging us to take action in whatever direction has been blocked since mid-April.

There is also relief as we move farther from the second exact square between Saturn and Neptune. They will return to the challenging conversation between them in mid-September (oh, the politics!). For now, we drift in the space between, with a sense of the challenge between them but not so firmly embroiled in it.

CANCER NEW MOON – FAMILIAL LOVE
Monday, July 4, 2016:
For many of you, the week begins with a holiday. This is a lovely day for enjoyment, pleasure, and particularly family gatherings. Although if you have concerns about power dynamics within your family, you may want to wait and meet up with them later in the afternoon.
The New Moon occurs at 7:02 AM EDT at 12° Cancer. With the Moon in Cancer, we are particularly sensitive to matters of home, hearth, and family issues. At 12:40 PM EDT, the Moon faces off in an opposition to Pluto. Make it a point of not letting your fear of being ‘out of control’ trigger you into harsh reactions.
Once you get to 3:03 PM EDT, the rest of the day is smooth sailing. The sensitive, family oriented Cancer Moon forms lovely aspects with both Jupiter and Venus offering expansion to areas of love, pleasure, and tenderness.
Perhaps, the key earlier in the day is to relinquish our grip on control. If others want to take the reins, let them. Move into the afternoon and evening with an open heart and fully ready to engage and express Love.

Tuesday begins with Mercury, the planet of communication and perception, forming a free-flowing trine aspect to Neptune, the planet of imagination and compassion. This is a lovely day to fully express kindness, compassion, and love.
Ideas and thoughts may surface fully formed from your imagination. If you are a writer or a storyteller, be prepared for beautiful words and stories to be easily accessible.
At 12:27 PM EDT, the Moon enters playful Leo where he will brighten the next few days with colorful play. Spend the afternoon or evening expressing your inner artist through painting, performing, or simply playing like a child. Whatever you do, affirm that it be an authentic expression of your most joyful inner sense of self.
Anywhere you see others expressing their true self, do not hold back your full expression of powerful appreciation. Give and receive love everywhere possible!

DESIRE MEETS COURAGE

The lovely Leo Moon forms only one aspect today as she trines Saturn at 7:43 AM EDT. This stabilizes our emotions allowing us to fully embrace and experience the beautiful trine aspect between Venus and Mars at 4:16 PM EDT. This lovely sexy aspect can cause sparks to fly in only the best manner.
Your desire nature is powerful and there is nothing holding back your drive and courage to express that desire. Connections formed and developed on Wednesday are powerfully supported by the conjunction between the Sun and Mercury occurring in Cancer at 11:23 PM EDT.
Go ahead, stay up late, and talk about it. Love is in the air and the conversation will be had. If you are spending the evening alone, make an effort to truly enjoy self-love or choose your communication method to express your affection to someone you love.
INTENSITY MAY CHANGE THE RULES
Thursday, July 7, 2016:
After such a lovely day on Wednesday, Thursday may come as a bit of a surprise. A whole series of challenging transits occur in the cosmos throughout the day.
At 7:54 AM EDT, Mercury opposes Pluto. If you find yourself challenged by powerful or disturbing thoughts, consider following the pathway they are asking you to step onto. This has the potential to lead to new perceptions or ways of viewing the world. Perhaps some information may come to light that could profoundly change our view.
At 10:24 AM EDT, with Venus square Uranus, we may be questioning all that love and affection we experienced on Wednesday. The relationship that felt so lovely now offers a sense of discomfort and anxiety. Perhaps, you are afraid that you expressed too much vulnerability in that state of love. Don’t walk away or build walls. Remain open to things being different than you expected. Again, you have the opportunity to see a new view and you may be pleasantly surprised at what results if you can hold steady.
Finally, at 6:26 PM EDT, the Sun opposes Pluto insisting that we look at our deepest shadows, be willing to work deeply with them, and carefully consider how they must be exposed and integrated into the current conversation.
This may be a deeply challenging day. However, if you keep your heart and mind open and available, it could be a game changer. We are each responsible for how we manage the day. You may find yourself on a new pathway leading to your own freedom.
When the Moon enters Virgo at 6:41 PM EDT, breathe deeply, settle down, and find a way to be of service to those around you. Remember, we each face these challenges together; the space between us is so much less than we think. Be of service to others will stabilize you into an evening that will reflect and honor the hard work you have done throughout the day.
You probably didn’t get much sleep on Wednesday night and with the challenges of this day please make it a point to go to sleep early on Thursday.

Friday, July 8, 2016:
I hope you took my advice and got a good night’s sleep Thursday night. Friday morning begins on a much more positive note. At 5:05 AM EDT, Mercury sextile Jupiter offering expansion and even humor to our communications.
Whatever occurred on Thursday has enabled new conversations to be had. These conversations will support the expansion of understanding and clarity. Perhaps, you have found a new way to talk about whatever caused the problems on Thursday.
Everyone is more available to actually listen with an open heart and mind. Go ahead; say what needs to be said. It is possible that there could be some hurt feelings later in the afternoon. They won’t last long as if you are able to let the issue slide off your back. All in all, there is more space for listening and understanding; if we are lucky by evening we may stumble into compassion.
PROJECT OR SERVICE
Saturday, July 9, 2016:
On Saturday, the Virgo Moon is extremely busy making lovely aspects to Pluto, Sun, Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, and Venus. This could be a day of high productivity. However, this is not the time to work alone or to work in one singular environment. With so much activity, you want the involvement of others and possibly moving from place to place.
Consider gathering friends or family to work on a project together. House projects, gardening, or craft projects are simply ideas to get you thinking. It may be a beautiful summer day but this is not a day to being lazy or selfish.
You will end the day with far more joy if you incorporate an element of accomplishment and service to your efforts.
A LOVELY DAY

Sunday begins with the Moon in Libra and the Sun sextile Jupiter. This offers not only diplomacy and pleasure, but also warmth, humor, and general ‘feel good’ energy.
How about heading to brunch with your closest family or friends? Any activity that could start the day on a really positive note is the very thing to do.
If you’re reading this on the blog early in the week, make sure you make a plan for Sunday morning. If you’re reading this Sunday morning, get on the phone and call your friends right away. Don’t waste this lovely day.
When Mercury trine Mars at 10:00 PM EDT, you find yourself easily able to communicate whatever may be necessary to push forward into the coming week. Did you forget a proposal you were supposed to write for work on Monday? Don’t worry too much about it, as it should be easy to put together before bed.
