In order to make any lasting change in ourselves, we need to have a clear understanding of who we are.
We need to look under the cover and protection of the ego. We must come to understand and make clear distinctions between who we are and the ego we have constructed around ourselves.

It is easy to become attached to the image that we present to the world, it is not so easy to see who is deeply buried underneath that construction!
Who are we? How do we learn to see ourselves clearly?
The process of self-discovery is always a multi-step journey. For me, this journey began on the path of Astrology.  Astrology was the first clear and open window to self-understanding.
This window has lead me down interesting pathways and in unusual directions over the past 40 years!
The Astrological symbols spoke to me right from the start. They continue to speak, their voices sharp and clear after so many years of continual polishing.
If you have the interest, if the symbols speak to you, take up the study. Let me know if you need help!
I had it pointed out to me recently that my dad and I had something in common that I had never considered. My dad was in the Merchant Marines in World War II. He learned to navigate ships by the position of the planets.  He loved the navigation! Fascinating to realize that he and I each spent an important part of our journeys looking toward the heavens!
