Monday Morning, October 29, 2018:

Monday morning and I didn’t get the week’s post written! Has that ever happened in the years that I have written this blog? I don’t think so but I may be forgetting a week some years ago.

At the moment it is 3 AM, I can’t sleep without getting something out for you this morning. I will write the whole blog this afternoon or tomorrow morning at the latest.

Astrolore’s 2nd Annual Astrology Retreat was a grand success. We had a wonderful time learning and playing hard. I will post more pictures over the coming days.

For now, let’s look at today’s astrological weather.

Monday, October 22, 2018:

This morning the Moon is in Cancer. Cancer feels easily and deeply. How do we manage the emotions that fill and break our hearts as we read the news and assimilate the information of yet another unthinkable national tragedy?

It is hard to square the realities I see in the world with the Love I feel beating in my own heart and see

in the hearts of those around me.

The message of today is to keep that tender heart of yours open fully even if it does not seem reasonable. Keep your boundaries, self-protection, and self-care strong; do not ever close your heart. Love even when it breaks you more. A broken heart enlarges and empowers deep compassion for others as we learn to see the tender broken hearts of those whose eyes we look into.

At 6:04 AM EDT Mercury joins with Jupiter. This begins a new cycle of bringing thought and awareness to beliefs. This is a time to place a stake in the ground regarding deeply held principles. Are you clear on what those principles really are? Get clarity and find the strength to hold true to your deepest held values and beliefs.

How to keep faith in the goodness of life: find kindness and profound LOVE in your own heart, nurture and cultivate it carefully, share it freely, and you will see it in others.

No matter how hard life seems to be, no matter what happens, we always have the choice to Love and to Help. I have deep gratitude to those I see offering Love every day without expectation of reward.

Vote Hard next week.

“He had never liked October. Ever since he had first lay in the autumn leaves before his grandmother’s house many years ago and heard the wind and saw the empty trees. It had made him cry, without a reason. And a little of that sadness returned each year to him. It always went away with spring.” ~ Ray Bradbury
