Dolly Parton has received 50 Grammy Award nominations and won many competitive awards. She has also received the Lifetime Achievement Award and was nominated for two Academy Awards, three Emy Awards, and one Tony Award.
Dolly has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. She is the founder of the Dollywood Foundation which funds the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a program that provides books to preschool-aged children.
Dolly was born the fourth of 12 children.
