I am sorry for the delay!
Did you miss the weekly forecast in your mail yesterday? I apologize! However, I needed to go a little easy on myself this week. I had an appointment with my surgeon on Friday and decided to go away and see something other than my four walls following that appointment. This was also my birthday celebration.
Dave and I rented an apartment in the further reaches of Aroostook County, Maine for the weekend. I am home now and ready to get back to work. In honor of my paternal ancestors, we went to the Patten Lumberman’s Museum where we found they have a copy of my grandfather, Ervin S Farrington’s book: A Lumberjack at 13. It was fun to wander the grounds and imagine what it was like to be 13 years old and sent to live such a life in the wilds of Maine in the winter of 1907.
Otherwise, we spent most of the weekend working on various creative projects, restringing an old marionette, painting, watching old movies, talking, and laughing.
Now I am home and here is the weekly forecast. Better late than never?!
