Did you read the post about Mercury Retrograde that I sent out yesterday? If not, go back and read it! That is one of the most significant issues of this week. Adjusting to the apparent backward motion takes a bit of time.

This week we also encounter Neptune turning retrograde, offering us the opportunity to notice where we need to recommit to our spiritual practices, our creative endeavors, and the deepest beauty in our lives.

This is bound to be a challenging week and one where much can be accomplished.

On Friday, Venus opposes Saturn encouraging us to find stabilize our relationships and finances. On Saturday the final of three contacts between Mars and Pluto is exact (1st in December 2013, 2nd in April). Pay attention to the issues of power and control in your life.

Monday, June 9, 2014:

A powerful start to the week! First, at 6:38 AM EDT the Moon enters Scorpio bringing us to an intense emotional depth. At 3:49 PM EDT, Neptune (who has been stationary at 7° Pisces) turns retrograde. Where does 7° Pisces land in your chart; what aspects does it make to your personal planets?

Think about how retrograde planets work. When Mercury is retrograde we review and rethink our intellectual projects and communications. When Venus is retrograde we review and rethink our love relationships and our finances.

Bringing that idea forward; during Neptune retrograde, stop and ask yourself how you are using the energy of Neptune. Do you need to recommit to a spiritual practice, a meditation or yoga practice? Do you need to recommit to sobriety? It is time to recommit to the one thing that is the most important to your Soul’s health? Over the coming weeks you will see this as a theme in the lives of those around you. Support and encourage those you encounter who are struggling with these difficult issues.

Tuesday, June 10, 2014:

Tuesday provides us with a hint of what we will be facing later in the week. The Moon in Scorpio opposes Venus and squares Saturn. This brings our attention to the opposition between Venus and Saturn which will be exact very early Friday morning.

With the intensification of the Scorpio Moon this is a day to consider how we are managing our love relationships and our resources. We may feel that what we need is not available.

As we consider these issues we struggle to manage the consideration itself. It would be easy on Tuesday to fall into low energy and negative thinking. We are aware of the pull between what is available and what we desire. Stand firm, gather your courage and look directly at the reality of your situation.

Wednesday, June 11, 2014:

Tuesday night at 10:21 PM EDT, following a trine (12degrees) between the Moon and Jupiter, the Moon became VOC*. Wednesday morning we wake to that influence. This will be more upbeat then Tuesday. We are still adjusting to the retrogrades of Mercury and Neptune as we look back, examine, and rework our lives to fit the current reality.

At 11:23 AM EDT the Moon enters Sagittarius. This is a delightful shift to a lighter energy and an easier way of being. Allow that lighter space to penetrate the tight places you hold inside. Make it a point to explore a new path, spend time with people who see the world from a different perspective, open your mind and heart to a more expansive worldview. A great afternoon or evening to get out on your own! Don’t let anything or anyone restrict your explorations today. It is important to open, expand, and explore.

Thursday, June 12, 2014:

Thursday: anticipate a good day! First of all, the Moon moves freely through Sagittarius throughout the day. The aspects she makes are very conducive to encouraging the exploratory and fun energy of the Sagittarius Moon.

Is important to remind you, my readers, that these posts are painting a generalized description of the emotional and energetic container we live in each day. At any given time, each individual may be having all kinds of different transits impacting their individual experiences. On this blog we look at what is common to us all; the environment of the day.

Thursday’s Sagittarius Moon asks us to expand a little further, open a little wider, explore a little deeper. Come out of the cocoon that is your own singular experience; explore your curiosity, look deeply to find an experience that will expand your perspective. This could show up in many ways; you may experience a new perspective through hearing something unexpected, by encountering a different worldview, or by finding yourself in very different company.

Are you looking for enlightenment or are you looking for a great party? Either way you are looking for a new experience and a new way to view the world!

Friday, June 13, 2014:

The amount of planetary activity before the Sun even rises on Friday morning reflects a long night of restlessness. Shortly after midnight Venus opposes Saturn suggesting a struggle to stabilize our beliefs and desires with the reality we find ourselves in. We are aware of our responsibility in what we have created with our beliefs and desires.

The cycle between Saturn and Venus (the force of stability/responsibility meet the force of love/ beauty) began in September 2013. If you keep a journal determine what you were involved in at that time. What was a high value to you at that time? Consider how that story progressed between September 2013 and the end of March 2014. What action did you take in March? You should now have a clear view of what developed over that time. What has been created out of your responsibility, struggle, and hard work? We are learning to be responsible for the relationships, people, and things that we value.

And! The Sagittarius Full Moon occurs before the Sun rises. At 12:12 AM EDT the Moon at 22° Sagittarius opposes the Sun at 22° Gemini. We may feel a strong pull between our needs and our desires. The Sagittarius Full Moon requires we all open ourselves to expansion! Review your life and the world from a broader perspective. Our tiny insular worlds erupt as we see simultaneously how tiny we are and how expansive we are. Open to the reality of our connection to each other and to the Universe.

Following the Full Moon, the Moon is VOC* until she enters Capricorn at 1:05PM EDT. The afternoon and evening are more serious and more sober than we expect!

Saturday, June 14, 2014:

In contemplating this weekend, get your journals out! On Saturday Mars Squares Pluto. This is a time of working with very intense, deeply rooted energies; energies that may be difficult to manage. We may encounter dark energy we would prefer not to see in ourselves or others.

The beginning of the Cycle between Mars and Pluto occurred in late November 2012. Did you feel a strong need for control in some situation at that time? Perhaps you felt highly ambitious, or you encountered severe ego conflicts with others.

Consider how this Cycle has progressed. What steps were taken in March 2013 that led to a full expression or release of the situation in July 2013? We are now at the Final Square, indicating a time to tie up whatever loose ends are still with us. Now we begin to release what is no longer useful or healthy for us in this situation. The letting go has not been easy; it too has been a process. Due to the retrograde of Mars we have had the opportunity to release in stages. December 2013 and April 2014 have brought us to the final stage of clarity at this time. The Cycle is not fully complete until November 2014 at which time we will begin a New Cycle of ambition, control, and possible conflict as we work to transform our powerful energies!

With the Moon in Capricorn throughout the day we can anticipate a serious weekend. We may be surprised to find ourselves more interested in getting work done at the office then spending time in play with family and friends.

Sunday, June 15, 2014:

If you have work to do on Sunday get up early and get it done. The day begins with the Moon still in Capricorn and following an opposition to Jupiter at 2:35 AM EDT. The Moon is VOC* until she enters Aquarius at 1:28PM EDT.

Get together with friends on Sunday evening! Enjoy innovative, creative, and unusual conversations with friends. Following the past few days you will want to spread your wings and fly high with pleasure and connections! Make it a great afternoon and evening!

* In these weekly reports I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to it’s VOC time, as that aspect holds it’s influence throughout the VOC*
The Aspects I consider: Conjunctions, Sextiles, Squares, Trines, and Oppositions
The Planets I am working with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
*VOC (void of course) refers to the period of time between the final aspect that the Moon makes while in one sign until she enters the next sign. This can consist of several minutes or many hours. These periods are best handled with little expectation of accomplishment; times ideally suited for rest and contemplation.
