Let’s begin with a quote from “Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience” and then go right into the daily

astrological weather.
“If one has failed to develop curiosity and interest in the early years, it is a good idea to acquire them now, before it is too late to improve the quality of life. To do so is fairly easy in principle, but more difficult in practice. Yet it is sure worth trying. The first step is to develop the habit of doing whatever needs to be done with concentrated attention, with skill rather than inertia. Even the most routine tasks, like washing dishes, dressing, or mowing the lawn become more rewarding if we approach them with the care it would take to make a work of art. The next step is to transfer some psychic energy each day from tasks that we don’t like doing, or from passive leisure, into something we never did before, or something we enjoy doing but don’t do often enough because it seems too much trouble. There are literally millions of potentially interesting things in the world to see, to do, to learn about. But they don’t become actually interesting until we devote attention to them.”

FEEL GOOD
Monday, September 26, 2016:
You may be surprised at how good you feel this morning. So much has loosened up with mental Mercury now moving forward at a good clip, serious Saturn inching away from his tight contact with dreamy Neptune, and a lovely, passionate Leo Moon to play with.
The best, by far, occurrence on Monday is the conjunction between the Sun and expansive Jupiter. Where in your life are you feeling the growth of enthusiasm and optimism? This transit begins a yearlong cycle of increasing joy, expansion, and possibly romance. It is time to take a stand, go ahead and plant the seed that you sincerely want to grow into deeper connection, understanding, and love in the coming year. Contemplate partnership and step forward to meet it, the new path is clear to be stepped upon. Begin the work of developing the partnerships and love of your deepest desires.
Pluto has been retrograde since April 18, 2016 and turns direct at 15 degrees Capricorn. If you have personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars) or points (Ascendant or Midheaven) between 12 and 18 degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn) you are being impacted significantly this week by the transformative energy of Pluto.
Allow major change to come. Holding it at bay will only create discord. Surrender is the best plan where Pluto is concerned. A personal consultation is in order!  For many of you this is a powerful time of transition. As Pluto turns direct, what has been held back is ready to move forward. Enjoy the ride.

SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE
Tuesday, September 27, 2016:
When we wake up Tuesday morning, there will be a considerable shift of energy. Mars, the planet of action and courage, finally leaves Sagittarius behind to enter Capricorn. On March 5, 2016, Mars first entered Sagittarius. Normally, Mars spends several months in a particular sign and moves on. However, with his three month retrograde (much of which was in Scorpio), he is just leaving Sagittarius now. This is another clear indication that we really are leaving behind the stuck energy we have felt mired in for the past 6 months.
With Mars in Capricorn, we are ready to work to fulfill our goals with steadfast determination. Ambition leads us to serious, disciplined accomplishments. Don’t expect to reach your desires with spontaneous action. Slow and steady wins the race. This is a great stabilization that will support our growing integrity over the next six weeks. Much work can be accomplished and significant progress made in reaching your most important goals.
Enjoy the Leo Moon on Monday, she offers you the ability to release self-consciousness and truly express your most authentic self. At 5:43 PM EDT, once the Moon enters Virgo, you will be ready to get serious about utilizing the energy of Mars in Capricorn.
The next few days will be great for getting jobs done and projects started. Support the projects of others with encouragement and putting them in touch with others who may benefit from the introduction. Every time you help others, your light shines a bit brighter.
The Leo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 4:53 AM EDT until she enters Virgo at 5:43 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad; it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

INDUSTRIOUS EFFORT
Wednesday, September 28, 2016:
Wednesday should be a great day for getting things done. Whether you are starting a new project, working with diligent patience on the details of an ongoing project, or helping others with their projects, the work will move forward on Wednesday.
Perhaps, you are involved in a major project for a huge corporation, a serious effort forward in your own business, or perhaps you are sorting laundry and cleaning out your closets or your pantry. Bring the same industrious efficiency to whatever you are working on.
Make no mistake this is a day for work, if you try to turn it into a day of play you are likely to feel frustration at the end of the day.
Yes, you may feel some confusion around 12:46 PM EDT when delusional Neptune comes calling. Take your lunch break between 12:30 – 1:30 and don’t worry about it. Come back to the job refreshed.
When somber Saturn also gets in on the story at 3:42 PM EDT… take a coffee break, or better yet, a walk outside. These transits of the Moon don’t last long. Fit them into your day and all will be fine.
Pay attention to the details, do an excellent job. Don’t get stuck in perfectionism to the point that is stops progress.

NATURE CALLS
Thursday, September 29, 2016:
You will want to keep your attention on whatever your efforts went into on Wednesday.  However, due to the VOC* Moon, it will be best to consider keeping to the less important details that in the longer view of the project will have less impact.
Wait! Let’s rethink this! How about leaving all that work behind and go for a walk? A solitary walk to soothe your soul at this dark time of the Moon (New Moon on Friday). Winter will be here before we know it and perhaps a walk by a lake, a river, or the ocean will bring more value into your life than any amount of work even with the Moon in Virgo!
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” ~ Albert Einstein
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:06 AM EDT until she enters Libra at 3:53 AM EDT on Friday. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad; it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

LIBRA NEW MOON – EXPANSION OF LOVE
Friday, September 30, 2016:
Friday’s New Lunar Cycle (Libra New Moon) begins on an expansive, confident, and hopeful note with the Sun, Moon, and Jupiter conjunct in the graceful, charming sign of Libra.
Jupiter’s main purpose is always to expand whatever s/he touches. This new lunar cycle is about expanding beauty, value, and partnership. The seeds you plant at this time will support the growth of love, romance, and resources far beyond the current month’s cycle.
The involvement of Jupiter (newly in Libra) suggests that these seeds have tendrils that will stay with us throughout the Jupiter cycle for the next 12 years.
We are deeply grateful that the challenging pattern between sometimes, bewildering Neptune and often restrictive Saturn are now behind us. This lovely Libra New Moon encourages us to accept the opportunity and move beyond the confusion and disappointment so recently encountered, to welcome a renewed sense of our values, ideals, and our connection to the deeper understanding of a loving Universe.
Go out into the world on Friday and plant seeds of love, connection, and beauty. If you know what astrological house holds 8 degrees Libra in your chart, you will have a better idea of where to scatter those seeds.
Regardless, go ahead and create beauty while scattering seeds of love.

LOVE FLOWS
Saturday, October 1, 2016:
On Saturday, the Moon continues through charming Libra offering a pleasant day for charming social interactions. However, don’t be in a hurry to start those social situations. With the Moon squares Pluto at 9:30 AM EDT, it will help to spend a few morning hours alone in deep contemplation. But don’t stay there too long! Once you leave that solitary energy behind, simply move forward into a day that offers beauty and harmony in cooperation with others.
At 1:13 PM EDT, Venus (in Scorpio) trine Neptune (in Pisces) offers us a lovely flow of intangible beauty and love.  This flow likely stems from a beautiful dream (or fantasy) that began in March 2016 and was fully illuminated in mid-August. The benefits and reality of that dream flow easily now. Enjoy.
Enjoy the feeling of love and beauty created in imagination, fantasy, and flow. This is a lovely day for artists and lovers. Hearts are open. Love and beauty moves easily between your open heart and a world hungry for connection.  Offer this energy out into the world.

VULNERABILITY SUPPORTS LOVE
Sunday, October 2, 2016:
On Sunday, we awake to the Moon still in Libra but adrift without focus until she enters Scorpio at 3:43 PM EDT. In the early part of the day, we may feel our emotions are holding us back; we may wish we could stay with the innocence and simplicity of that Libra New Moon. However, it is time to move forward, with the Moon in Scorpio we must begin a committed exploration of how to best water the seed of love that was planted at the New Moon from Friday. The ‘water’ that is required now is deep, intense, and powerful. Do not shy from the more hidden, private areas of yourself. Explore how vulnerability supports the developing beauty and love that is expanding in your life.
The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:43 AM EDT until she enters Scorpio at 3:43 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad; it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets.  I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods.  I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
* The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
* The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
