A SLOW START TO THE WEEK
Monday, September 12, 2016:
Monday begins on a slow note with the steady Capricorn Moon void of course reminding us to leave all new endeavors on the sidelines and simply keep a low profile. When Mercury squares the Sagittarian Mars at 2:58 PM EDT, you may encounter typical Mercury retrograde communication glitches and the aggravation that can accompany it.
When the Moon enters Aquarius at 5:29 PM EDT, the general ‘feel’ of the day will shift allowing for a more positive, innovative, and unpredictable evening.
When the perfectionist Virgo Sun conjoins Mercury at 7:40 PM, the aggravation from the afternoon becomes insignificant as our attention is more easily directed.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:00 AM EDT until she enters Aquarius at 5:29 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad; it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

DEVELOPMENT OF COURAGE
Tuesday, September 13, 2016:
The Moon is in Aquarius throughout Tuesday doing its best to keep our emotions above the fray. One of the gifts of Aquarius is the ability to remain objective in the face of challenging emotions. Whether the Aquarius Moon is up to that task is, at best, uncertain.
The highly prominent aspect of Tuesday is a frustrating square between the Virgo Sun and Mars in Sagittarius. Mars is the planet of action, discord, and anger. This aspect is known for reflecting aggravation, impatience, and frustration. Anywhere you go today and anyone you encounter, make sure to check in with yourself and leave your anger at the door.
As much as possible approach every situation and every person with courage, awareness, and the ability to see truth. As this is the 3rd Quarter Square in the cycle between the Sun and Mars, give clear consideration to what this frustration is asking you to look at clearly. What began in June of 2015, was clearly developed by late May of 2016, and is now suggesting a new step forward or a new direction?
The purpose of this cycle is for the development of courage. The new cycle between them will not begin until July of 2017. Between now and then, we set aside the current challenge and prepare for a new place of courage to begin.
Spending time with yourself alone can be beneficial on Tuesday as you work with your short-temperedness. If you are with others, be cautious not to take any aggravation out on another. Remember, the development of courage is certainly an inside job.

PROGRESSIVE IDEAS
Wednesday, September 14, 2016:
By Wednesday morning, the Aquarius Moon is better equipped to be objective and feel encouraged by the process and expansion of ideas. This may be a day of sharp excitement with progressive new ideas forming out of seemingly nowhere. Keep your eyes open and be willing to think outside the box.
Because the Moon is adrift after 11:32 AM EDT, write down any unusual thoughts or perspectives on your patterns of thought. This is not the time to take action but tuck your ideas aside for future development.
At 10:23 PM EDT, the Moon enters mystical, dreamy Pisces. Sleep will be a sweet place to find yourself in the hours following this ingress.
The Aquarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 11:32 AM EDT until she enters Pisces at 10:23 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad; it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

CONTEMPLATION
Thursday, September 15, 2016:
As we continue in growing awareness, preparing for Friday’s Full Moon, we encounter further insistence on developing a deeper connection to spirit. The mystical Pisces Moon conjoins devotional Neptune at 3:46 PM EDT and squares restrictive Saturn at 4:26 PM EDT.
Whatever you call your higher understanding of the Universe, and however you work to develop that connection, is a deeply private matter. Please find time on Thursday to spend in solitude to contemplate your own path. Do not be surprised to find little clarity in this contemplation. Hold space for life’s ambiguity.
Allow questions, confusions, limitations, and dreams to all have a place at the table. As you allow both cold reality and elusive dreams to direct you, you are learning to understand more than you know.

PISCES FULL MOON – LUNAR ECLIPSE
Friday, September 16, 2016:
A Lunar Eclipse at 2:54 PM EDT (and the Pisces Full Moon) is the big news on Friday. Eclipses are considered wild cards, times in our lives where we can anticipate major change that can truly transform our lives. Look to the area of your chart that holds 24 degrees Pisces for an idea of where your need for change will be supported over the coming months.
Consider what seed or intention you planted at the New Moon (Solar Eclipse at 7 degrees Virgo) two weeks ago. These eclipses work together to offer a new direction or set your life on an entirely new path.
Consider how the practical routines of your life support your spiritual growth or your creative inspirations.
Contact Astrolore for a consultation (yes, I am taking new clients) if you are ready to see how all the planetary cycles are supporting your individual path. Take a step forward for your own growth.
The Pisces Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:05 PM EDT until she enters Aries at 12:23 AM EDT, on Saturday morning shortly after midnight. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad; it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

ACTIVE EXCITEMENT – IMPULSIVE ANXIETY
Saturday, September 17, 2016:
It will likely feel very much like a new day on Saturday morning. The Moon is now in dynamic Aries and much of the sensitivity and confusion from the past few days has been left behind. We are ready to push ahead toward excitement and action.
Early Saturday morning, Mars trine Uranus suggests much excitement (or anxiety) to manage over the weekend.
In looking at the whole cycle of Mars and Uranus, we see that they last came together in March of 2015. What did you begin at that time? What seed was planted?  These two coming together are an explosive combination, impatient, hot, and sharp.  Whatever began came to full illumination in December of 2015. If you are able to see a connection between those energies and those two periods of time, you see that now you are in full possession of the learning necessary of assertive defiance, revolutionary anger, and impulsive anxiety.
We have learned much and can work with these energies more effectively than has been previously possible. Consider the importance of full awareness, choice, and action. Think about and consider how this is playing out in your personal life as well as in the political landscape.

UNEXPECTED CONNECTIONS
Sunday, September 18, 2016:
This entire weekend is encased in intensification. On Sunday, the hot, determined Aries Moon makes challenging contact with both coercive Pluto and defiant Uranus. Keep your eyes open, pay attention to your surroundings and your responses to them.
At 4:05 AM EDT Venus, the planet of love and beauty opposes unconventional Uranus illuminating a cycle of unusual excitement in love that began in mid-April of 2016. A significant step forward was taken around the 7th of July and now you have clarity on where this has landed you. What unusual or unexpected values or love relationship have you developed since that time?
Pay attention to folks you meet today. Life and love can change on a dime when Venus and Uranus come together. You will be attracted to people and values that may, at other times, have held little or no attraction for you. These people could light up your life in powerful ways.
Allow yourself to embrace what is most unusual in others; you may meet someone from a different generation, culture, gender, ability, or nationality. Whoever you meet this weekend may have a profound impact on your life. Don’t stay home, go where you can make new connections.
The Aries Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 4:11 PM EDT until she enters Taurus at 12:58 AM EDT, early Monday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad; it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by the transits between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods.  I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
* The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
* The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
