Considering the outer planet transits this week, there is much more at play than the shifting emotional patterns of the Moon. However, the Moon always has an impact on how we manage the oftentimes more evident, changes in our world.
At 8:30 AM EST on Monday the Moon enters Virgo where she will remain until Wednesday at 11:09 AM EST. When the Moon is in Virgo, we may busy ourselves tidying up our environments or analyzing the details of whatever we are involved in.
From Wednesday at 11:09 AM EST until Friday at 11:18 AM EST, the Libra Moon will engage in diplomacy or in trying to make up her mind about something. Libra can see both sides of every issue but may struggle to make a clear decision. That Libra Moon will struggle mightily Thursday night and Friday morning as she makes rough connections with the gathering of planets in Cardinal signs.
From 11:18 AM EST on Friday until 10:46 AM EST on Sunday the Moon will pass through Scorpio. This passage is a time for digging below the surface to uncover what is hidden. There are some very bright transits over the weekend along with the Scorpio New Moon very early on Sunday morning.

LET YOURSELF AND OTHERS OFF THE HOOK – Monday, November 9, 2020
As of this writing, we have just received the results of the US presidential election. However, we would be profoundly naive to expect the tension around this difficult and important election to have abated.
The day begins with the Moon still in celebratory Leo but enters precise analytical Virgo at 8:30 AM EST. This may suggest more counting, analyzing, and picking through the weeds as the results are likely contested.
At 11:08 AM EST Venus in peace-making Libra opposes Mars, still retrograde in aggressive Aries. This pattern suggests several possibilities. We may gain clarity and understanding as we look across the divide or we may dig deeper to hold an opposing view. Venus in Libra tries to make nice and keep everyone happy and Mars in Aries is in a very war-like position. Consider this in your own life, hold these two opposing positions up to the light, and find a way to respect each. A part of you wants to make peace, another side wants to make war. Hold steady with eyes wide open and allow time to pass. Given time each side will begin to shift allowing new understanding and perspective.
Pay particular attention if you find yourself full of uncontrolled anger or passive in the face of someone else’s aggression. I would propose that this is a projection of an inner conflict. Let yourself and the other person off the hook.

A MYSTICAL OR SPIRITUAL GIFT – Tuesday, November 10, 2020
Today’s Virgo Moon would like us to tidy up and continue seeking perfection as we work with details in an efficient and skillful manner.
However, as the Sun is in a trine aspect with Neptune that may not be easy to do. This aspect perfected in the wee hours of the morning but will hold us in its thrall throughout the day. The Sun trine Neptune offers a view of something outside of easy understanding. There are intangible forces working in a powerful but unfocused or unclear manner. Look for a mystical or spiritual gift. This is a great day to focus on your meditation practice or a creative project.
At 4:55 PM EST Mercury, the planet of communication and thought processes leaves all diplomacy aside to enter the deep waters of Scorpio. The idea here is that playing nice (in Libra) has only gotten you so far and now it is time to discover what you really need to know. You may dig deep to find what is hidden beneath the surface or you may begin to develop your own hidden plans.
You will not be satisfied with light airy conversations. You will do best to bring what is in darkness into the light.
COMMIT TO BALANCE AND FAIRNESS – Wednesday, November 11, 2020
Today is the most straightforward day of the week. We begin with the Virgo Moon still trying to analyze and pick apart details. Perhaps your inclination is to distract yourself with efforts to tidy and perfect your living or work environment.
When the Moon enters Libra at 11:09 AM EST set aside your desire for perfection and turn to a search for social connections.
While the Moon is in Libra it is not easy to take a stand, be decisive, or speak up for yourself. It is hard to be certain of anything when you see both sides of a situation. Let yourself off the hook here. Look for and rest in places of pleasure that you can find or create.
Face any issues you encounter with dispassionate objectivity. Libra asks that you put cooperation and an attitude of refinement ahead of other considerations. Confront internal and external work with grace and decorum. Commit yourself to achieve balance, fairness, and pleasure in all your relationships. GLOBAL TRANSFORMATION – Thursday, November 12, 2020
The Moon continues through Libra today. It is important to remember that Libra is an Air sign, fundamentally the charm of Libra is an intellectual charm. Libra seeks companions, friends, social alliances, and intimate gatherings for intellectual engagement. Libra looks for connections with others to provide cooperation, diplomacy, and compromise.
However, the Libra Moon is in rather rough shape today and tomorrow. Our emotions may be pulled into profound difficulties due to forces far outside ourselves.
Mars is also standing stock-still as he prepares to station direct tomorrow. We will begin to see the possibility of powerful forward action over the coming months as Mars gathers steam.
The most significant issue today is the final of three conjunctions of Jupiter to Pluto. These two planets (along with Saturn) are part of what we have been calling the COVID Cluster. These planets have been in a long term dance throughout 2020. The first connection between Jupiter and Pluto was on April 4th, the second was on June 30th, and the final comes today. These dates have a clear correspondence to the spikes in coronavirus cases.
So here we find ourselves again. Jupiter and Pluto often correspond to large amounts of $$ changing hands. Perhaps we will get another financial relief package. Whereas millions of Americans are on the brink of hunger and financial ruin due to the pandemic, many more have become millionaires during this time.
Think of this as the beginning of a 12-year cycle of expanding wealth, power, and/or huuge global transformation. Plant a seed in your own heart to becoming a catalyst for the power of kindness and Love.
PREPARE TO BLAST AHEAD – Friday, November 13, 2020
The Libra Moon was making tough aspects to Pluto and Jupiter while you were sleeping in the wee hours of this morning. At 6:32 AM EST, she makes a final square aspect to Saturn. Perhaps you had difficult dreams and woke with discomfort or frustration. Do your best to play nice with others. Whatever is getting under your skin this morning need not color your entire day. Stay steady and let it pass without engaging negative reactions.
When the Moon enters Scorpio at 11:18 AM EST you can set that aggravation aside and move into deeper emotional considerations. You may find yourself in the throes of intensity, passion, and powerful emotions of all kinds. The idea that knowledge is power motivates you to look below the surface to discover what makes people or situations ‘tick’. As powerful feelings bubble to the surface, consider how transformative healing occurs in darkness.
At 7:36 PM EST Mars, having been retrograde since September 9th stations direct at 15 degrees Aries. RIDE THE WAVE – Saturday, November 14, 2020
Today’s Moon in Scorpio simply asks us to honor and understand the profound nature of deep emotion. Allow yourself time alone today to heal the tension we have all been in for some time. Regardless of how you may feel about the changes of this week, it is a grand relief to come out of the darkness of unknowing.
We have two significant and related transits that perfect today. First the Sun sextiles Pluto at 2:48 PM EST, then the Sun sextiles Jupiter at 10:57 PM EST. Pluto and Jupiter have been a part of what we have dubbed the Covid cluster suggesting the beginning of the end to this dark chapter of our lives.
In late December 2019 into early January 2020, the Sun joined Pluto and Jupiter (in Capricorn). This began a cycle of opening our eyes to the problem of expanded power in our institutions. Today we see the potential way out of this mess as we reach for the opportunity to begin anew in January 2021. The cycle beginning in January 2021 occurs in the humanitarian sign of Aquarius rather than the business sign of Capricorn.
Today is a day to dream big and make plans that you would like to implement in 2021 and beyond. The world is changing, consider how you can ride this wave.
A POWERFUL DAY IN POWERFUL TIMES: SCORPIO NEW MOON – Sunday, November 15, 2020
In the first moments of today (12:07 AM) we reach the Scorpio New Moon. By the time you start the day this new cycle has begun. With the Scorpio New Moon, peer beneath what may be socially acceptable to understand yourself and your life more deeply. Explore your motivations with unrelenting honesty. This New Moon makes lovely aspects to other planets today, suggesting that what you begin today is supported by the Universe.
At 10:46 AM EST, the Moon excitedly reaches for expansion and exploration of ideas and experiences in Sagittarius.
The most challenging part of the week comes with Venus square Pluto at 2:43 PM EST. This may bring with it a demand to let go of something that is very difficult to release. Your values around finances and/or intimate partnerships may be challenged. I would also anticipate struggles in public discourse. This is a powerful day in powerful times.
