Astrology is one of the earliest attempts made by humans to find the order hidden behind or within the confusing and apparent chaos that exists in the world.” ~ Karen Hamaker-Zonda
Monday, November 26, 2018:
The morning brings with it enlarged opinions and the willingness to butt heads in service of your commitment to those opinions. Slow down and don’t let your feelings be hurt so readily. That may be easier said than done with the Moon in sensitive Cancer.
While you were sleeping in the wee hours the Sun joined with Jupiter in the very early degrees of Sagittarius. This begins a cycle of growing wisdom. Enjoy the expansiveness of this aspect even as you tend the seed of wisdom carefully. Just because you have the seed in hand does not make you suddenly ‘wise’ or ‘right’. Consider that humility will serve the growth of that seed far more than arrogance. With Mercury (retrograde and also in opinionated Sagittarius) forming a challenging square aspect to Mars watch your words, or better yet, hold your tongue. Challenge your own thinking before putting your foot in your mouth.
The Moon continues through protective, loving Cancer throughout the day; find and create security within the context of family, biological or chosen.
Tuesday, November 27, 2018:
By the time you wake, the Moon has left the tenderness of Cancer behind and entered expressive boisterous Leo. You will probably have a lot to say and will likely hear the loud opinions of those around you. With the Leo Moon trine, Mercury, the Sun, and Jupiter all gathered together in Sagittarius, opinions may fly without regard to much other than creating dramatic self-expression. Everyone wants to be seen and heard. Everyone thinks that their opinions, ideas, and beliefs are the right ones. Tread carefully, don’t offend others, and don’t take offense easily either. If you are preaching to the choir this may be a lot of fun, if you are around folks with very different beliefs, it may be challenging.
At 4:30 PM EST Mars in imaginative Pisces forms a creative sextile to Saturn. It may be time to re-engage your energies in a project that began in early April. Any thoughts of what that may be? Give it some thought and explore ideas of how to move that project forward.
The Cancer Moon is VOC* for a brief period of time (while you sleep) between 2:22 AM EST and 3:34 AM EST when she enters Leo. While the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

Wednesday, November 28, 2018:
A quiet day with absolutely no major aspects being made. Even the Leo Moon spends the day minding her own business and keeping to herself. She spends the day drifting between a flowing trine to the Sun (Tuesday afternoon) and a sextile to Venus (early on Thursday). So, even though she is quiet she leaves us with a sense of ease while anticipating upcoming sweetness.
Take a chance, allow yourself to take a creative risk, bring your most expressive warmth and generosity to the table. Shine your internal Glow. While you are at it, notice how others show their own Light and creativity. Applaud what you see in others. Offer love and attention freely.
Everyone’s ‘inner child’ will be on full display. Don’t be afraid of looking foolish, your friends will adore you if you can lead them in the direction of active creativity! Allow your warmth, generosity, and open-hearted acceptance to rule the day.
Thursday, November 29, 2018:
At 6:07 AM EST the Moon enters Virgo offering a day of efficiency and productivity.
This is a day to analyze the best path forward on any projects you are engaged in. If you notice that others seem critical, consider that they are responding to the potential they see in you or your situation. Virgo allows us to understand the full potential of whatever we engage with. It may be difficult to see how much you have accomplished. Seeing the potential without seeing how far you have come can lead to critical judgment. Work to curb the tendency to be critical of yourself, your loved ones, and strangers. Notice the critical tone in your voice and seek to replace it with patience, understanding, and kindness.
Being of service to others will relax your internal self-criticism. Focus on being available, observing, respecting, and releasing judgment.
At 7:19 PM EST we come to a challenging square between the Sagittarius Sun and the Virgo Moon (Third Quarter Moon Phase). Opinions and criticisms may clash. However, given that both Sagittarius and Virgo are Mutable signs, everyone should be able to be adept and adjust without too much stress.
The Leo Moon is VOC* between 4:47 AM EST until she enters Virgo at 6:07 AM EST. While the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
Friday, November 30, 2018:
Have you noticed excitement or anxiety building this week? At 9:12 PM EST Venus opposes Uranus. This aspect is the final chapter in a story that began in mid-September, came into focus at the end of October, and is now ready for resolution. What adjustment have your circumstances been asking for over these past few months regarding love or money? Are you ready to make that adjustment? If you are unhappy or depressed, consider the action that you know you need to take. It is time. Something may surprise or shock you into an unexpected decision. Keep your eyes open.
The Virgo Moon keeps you chugging along doing practical chores and getting things done efficiently throughout the day. Your expectations may be higher than usual as you carefully observe yourself, your relationships, your projects, and the work that others are doing. Speak kindly to your critical inner voice, it will quiet her. Spend time on meticulous practical activities, it will help to keep you calm and centered.

Saturday, December 1, 2018:
Retrograde Mercury backs into Scorpio where it will remain until December 12th. Some area of your life needs a bit more digging into with courage to look beneath the surface and into the dark corners. Something you thought you had wrapped up into a neat little package is demanding a closer look. Don’t shy away, with attention and clarity of vision healing can be had.
The Moon enters diplomatic, relationship-oriented Libra at 9:49 AM EXT. Plan the day around that. This Moon placement supports romantic or diplomatic endeavors, socializing, and/or creating art. As you interact with others, remember that we all desire companionship and beauty. Commit yourself to the achievement of balance, fairness, and pleasure in all your social and familial interactions. It may be difficult to take a stand as it will be far easier to flow with what is presented than to make a set determination. Find ways to offer kindness and bring beauty into the world.
Keep in mind that as an Air sign Libra is fundamentally concerned with an intellectual charm. Seek intellectually based companionship, friendships, social alliances, and small gatherings. Enjoy cultural activities, go to a museum, a concert, or a small gathering with others of like mind.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* for a very brief period of time from 9:35 AM EST until she enters Libra at 9:49 AM EST. While the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
Sunday, December 2, 2018:
Venus enters Scorpio at 12:01 PM EST where she will remain until January 7, 2019. During this time you can expect your attention on love and personal values to go into deep, possibly troublesome areas. Your attitudes and beliefs regarding relationships and finances are being shifted at a core level. You are asked to look below the surface, to face deeply buried beliefs you may be reluctant to examine. Go ahead and face the darkness; there is light on the other side.
At 7:34 PM EST with the Sun square Mars, how is your self-determination being challenged? Hold your ground with clarity and without anger. Be true to yourself; push back as necessary. With the Moon in Libra, the best move forward may be to face whatever is on the table with dispassionate objectivity. Libra asks that you put cooperation and an attitude of refinement in the driver’s seat. Face internal and external work with grace and decorum.
“We use astrology most constructively and creatively when we gain from it a sense of what is possible for us at the highest levels of our potentialities. Seeing that, the challenges is then to keep our eyes open to life itself, to be able to respond appropriately when some event or change of circumstances.” ~ Dane Rudhyar “Astrological Aspects – a Process Oriented Approach” 1980

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.

The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
