Keep in mind that the Moon sets the emotional tone as she moves through the Zodiac day to day. Every 2 ½ days the Moon enters a new Sign. Learning to follow and work with this rhythm will help you go with the flow and feel more aligned with the Flow of Life.

With a fair share of outer planet transits this week, there are other things to pay attention to but don’t neglect the importance of the shifting emotional tone as the Moon moves from sign to sign.

Monday and Tuesday morning (until 11:35 AM EST) the Moon will be in Sagittarius. When the Moon is in Sagittarius we tend to focus on enthusiasm, independence, and freedom.

Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday and Thursday (until 3:25 PM EST) the Moon will be in Capricorn. When the Moon is in Capricorn our attention turns to practical goals and ambitions.

Between Thursday afternoon and Saturday night (11:06 PM EST), we begin the weekend with a quirky Aquarius Moon. When the Moon is in Aquarius we may feel aloof and intellectually independent. Our minds are our own and we want to follow an individual path forward.

_Please keep in mind that transits to your natal planets can override these more universal ones.

LISTEN AND LEARN – Monday, November 16, 2020

Yesterday’s Venus square Pluto may have brought with it a real or metaphorical explosion. Today’s Venus square Jupiter (exact at 12:32 AM) may well magnify that issue for better or worse.

You may feel motivated to create meaning in the face of what is happening around you. Use critical judgment and pay attention to the sources of your information. Pick up the pieces and be ready to continue the process of letting go. I know you are engaged in a process of letting go. Once you cut the ties you will be able to move forward with more ease.

The Moon continues through Sagittarius suggesting the importance of a simple change in scenery. Sometimes a drive in the country or down the highway is enough to offer a much needed and renewed perspective.

No matter how expansive your perspective seems to be, watch that you don’t get stuck in your own dogma. It is a mistake to believe that you have the one path to truth. Being candid and outspoken with your own beliefs is only a positive thing if you are also willing to listen and learn.

UNEXPECTED KNOWING – Tuesday, November 17, 2020

Keep your eyes open for excitement or anxiety, shocking, surprising, or unexpected information. This may emerge before the day comes to an end. In the wee hours of the morning, Mercury opposed Uranus. Due to Mercury’s recent retrograde, this is the third occurrence of this aspect (October 7th, October 19th, and today). This suggests the final chapter of an ongoing story of awakening awareness and finding your voice. You may suddenly know exactly what you have needed to say all along. Once you know the answer you can not un-know it. At that point, all there is to do is to say what you know you need to say.

At 11:35 AM EST, the Moon leaves the lightheartedness of Sagittarius behind as she enters the serious realm of Capricorn. With the Moon in Capricorn over the next few days your focus will turn to your personal ambitions and the integrity needed to reach the heights that you desire.

The Sagittarius Moon is void-of-course from 2:55 AM EST until she enters Capricorn at 11:35 AM EST. This suggests that what occurs during this time will not have much impact.

REALITY, RESPONSIBILITY, & HARD WORK – Wednesday, November 18, 2020

Today is all about the Moon moving through hard-working, ambitious Capricorn. When the Moon is in this Cardinal Earth sign it is time to align ourselves with practical solutions to real-world problems.

Capricorn is the sign of responsibility, the sign that must face reality, the sign of the ‘elder’. Time teaches us how important it is to be conscientious, to do the work necessary. This is the energy that Capricorn brings.

Today is not the day to look for fun, excitement, or play. The work and effort ahead must be faced head-on to create a better future.

This is not a feel-good Moon but one where you can be highly organized, efficient, and disciplined. Take comfort in knowing you can accomplish something significant as you build toward your future plans.

CONFLICTING VALUES – Thursday, November 19, 2020

Today brings us to a rough spot where the Moon makes difficult contact with the cluster of planets in Cardinal signs. The Moon conjuncts Pluto, Jupiter, and Saturn, bringing your attention and, no doubt worry, to the cultural and social issues that are holding us in thrall. We really can’t look away. We may feel anger, helplessness, or simply go cold in the face of the unrelenting struggle.

A sextile aspect from the Sun to Saturn in the early hours gives us some comfort and hope that may be soon dashed as Venus squares Saturn at 6:28 AM EST. Do your best to avoid conflicts over love, money, or personal values.

The cycle between Venus and Saturn is a cycle intended to stabilize our values and relationships. This is not done without time, effort, and possibly struggle. This cycle began in December 2019 and has worked its way through the faces of growth and illumination. It now asks what we need to release in order to begin a new cycle in February 2021.

At 3:25 PM EST the Moon, tired of so much seriousness, enters Aquarius. This encourages you to open your mind to more unusual solutions and innovative ideas. Spend the evening in conversations with folks that engage your most wide-ranging thoughts and ideas. Share ideas, thinking, and wild plans with those who can support you in changing the world with your humanitarian perspective.

The Capricorn Moon is void-of-course from 11:30 AM EST until she enters Aquarius at 3:25 PM EST. This suggests that what occurs during this time will not have much impact.

FREEDOM AND WILD IDEAS – Friday, November 20, 2020

Today’s Aquarius Moon highlights a passionate need for intellectual freedom and wild ideas that come along with that freedom. When the Moon is in Aquarius you find yourself unwilling to be pigeonholed and must dance to the beat of a ‘different drummer’. You may feel like an outcast while the Moon is in Aquarius as your most unusual and innovative ideas separate you from more common thought.

You may feel cool and unattached in the face of romantic love and yet feel highly passionate regarding the love of humanity at large. When the Moon is in Aquarius you are interested in understanding and befriending those who live against the grain of the general culture. You are more tolerant and curious about the many faces of humanity today. Enjoy the wild examples of humans you share this planet with. What a delight that we are all so different.

_The Aquarius Moon is void-of-course from 7:49 PM EST until she enters Pisces late Saturday night. This suggests that what occurs during this time will not have much impact.

With the Moon still in avant-garde Aquarius, Venus, the planet of love and beauty enters the deep waters of Scorpio today. With Venus in Scorpio, our deep appreciation turns to loyalty, passion, and intensity. If you are in a relationship that lacks passion and emotional depth you will probably lose patience with it over the coming weeks. Powerful connections beckon, mediocre and superficial connections are passed up. Venus will remain in Scorpio until December 15th.

At 3:39 PM EST, the Sun enters Sagittarius bringing us into the season that holds our most iconic holidays. Sagittarius loves to party, gather experiences, explore new ideas, have a good time, and find higher meaning. While the Sun is in Sagittarius we may forget to slow down as we want to experience all that life has to offer. Our manners and subtleties may take a back seat as bluntness and humor take the reigns.

Embrace adventure, push beyond limits and experience something new that supports greater understanding.

At 11:06 AM EST, the Moon enters Pisces bringing us into a dreamy few days ahead. At 11:45 PM EST, we reach the First Quarter Moon. This is the halfway point between the New and the Full Moon. It is a time to take an action in the service of growth even if the action you need to take is an uncomfortable one. Change is difficult for most of us and yet both the First and the Last Quarter Moon phases demand that we take action toward change. When the Sun and the Moon are in a square aspect to each other there are two forces in conflict. It is important to take decisive or assertive action for what you want to build or grow today. Just one step forward will do, one step along the path to your future.

_The Aquarius Moon is void-of-course all day until entering Pisces at 11:06 PM EST. This suggests that what occurs during this time will not have much impact.

REST, SLEEP, DREAM – Sunday, November 22, 2020

What a lovely astrological set up for a Sunday. The ‘Day of Rest’ brings us a true day to rest. With the Moon in Pisces, this is an ideal day to do little or nothing other than resting and dreaming.

You may feel an internal softness and more compassion toward others than usual. Emotional sensitivity may lead to overwhelming feelings of deep understanding and mercy toward the plight of humanity. Your hard edges are softened as the boundaries between yourself and those faceless masses seem to melt away. You may feel divinely inspired and filled with a sense of wonder and transcendence. Open yourself to experiences of the sublime.

Throw away your ‘to-do list’, take a hot bath, and watch an old slow movie in the middle of the afternoon.

In these weekly reports, I explore the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and give rise to fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its void-of-course, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the void-of-course. The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

“Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.” ~ Og Mandino
