A PLAYFUL, FUN EVENING
Monday, May 29, 2017:
When you begin the day on Monday, do your best to shake off the frustration and possible judgmental tendencies that are reflected in the opposition from agitated Mars to somber Saturn at 2:54 AM EDT.
This transit calls your attention back to late August of 2016 when these two planets joined together to begin a cycle of energizing and taking action on your responsibilities. What did you begin at that time that embodied serious action or effort? The cycle began at 9 degrees Sagittarius (on August 24, 2016); where does that fall in your chart? Now you are able to see how well you managed the hard work and responsibilities necessary.
When the Moon enters blithe Leo at 8:11 AM EDT, you are ready to let go of resentments, grievances, or dissatisfaction. It is time to enjoy a cheerful, frisky, and playful day. The Leo Moon forms a sweet sextile aspect to the chatty Gemini Sun just as you are wrapping up the day. If you have a playmate, make the effort to enjoy a good-natured lively romp, with lots of laughter, before sleep.
The Cancer Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:58 AM EDT until 8:11 AM EDT when she enters Leo. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
UNUSUAL ACTION
Tuesday, May 30, 2017:
Tuesday begins with an early morning sextile from the Moon in spirited Leo to expansive Jupiter who is still in cooperative Libra. You feel positive and generous toward your loved ones and are ready to face the day with a smile.
You may struggle later in the day when the Moon forms a challenging square aspect to Mercury (the planet of the mind) in stable Taurus. There may be a disagreement between those who are feeling playfully creative and those who want to build something solid and lasting. Who gets the last word? Allow each other to hold very different ideas and opinions; accommodate each other even if it seems counterintuitive. The payoff will be well worth it.
At 10:39 PM EDT, ‘take no prisoners’ Mars forms a sextile aspect to revolutionary and unpredictable Uranus. This brings the suggestion of excitement and the possibility of unusual and sudden action. Did you begin an unusual development in the last week of February 2017? If you can identify what began then, you will know what you want to pay attention to now.
Explore unusual ideas; an opportunity is presented and you should take the initial steps that will bring about great change in early December of 2017. Thinking beyond ourselves, we can see possibilities here regarding our political dilemmas.
MORNING FLOW – AFTERNOON EFFORT

Mrs Langtry by Edward Poynter via SightsWithin
Wednesday, May 31, 2017:
The word of the day is flow, defined as, “to move along steadily and continuously in a current.” Allow your life, drive, and communications to flow steadily forward on Wednesday. There is no need to push or try to control the direction of any project or communication, simply allow it to happen.
The day begins with a trine (flowing) aspect from the playful Leo Moon to stable Saturn and excitable Uranus forming a Grand Trine. A grand trine is a planetary pattern composed of three or more planets located at the apex of an imaginary equilateral triangle. In the case of this Grand Trine, the planets involved are all in the element of Fire, bringing enthusiasm and creativity to the table. This is a harmonious and stable configuration.
Further increasing the positivity of the day, Mercury, the planet of communication and thought processes, also forms an easy trine aspect to powerful Pluto (8:02 AM EDT) allowing your conversations and written communications to be easily expressed and understood. If you have an important issue that needs to be discussed, questions to ask, or something that must be revealed, this is the day to allow it to come naturally and simply into the conversation.
If there is something that you need to reveal but would rather it not have much impact, have the conversation before 12:15 PM EDT. Have the talk after 12:15 PM EDT, if you want what you say to make a difference going forward.
At 12:15 PM EDT, the Moon enters industrious, efficient Virgo inviting us to settle into an afternoon of productive work. Put in the effort and you will accomplish a great deal. However, keep your expectations reasonable. You don’t want to end up beating yourself up at the end of the day because you didn’t accomplish everything! Whatever you get done is GOOD ENOUGH! Give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done.
The Leo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 7:14 AM EDT until she enters Virgo at 12:15 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*m there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
STABILITY AND GRACE
Thursday, June 1, 2017:
Thursday begins with the meticulous Virgo Moon forming the First Quarter Moon phase to the chatty Gemini Sun. This may pit your industrious dedication to work against your desire for simple social connections. Should you get your work done or go out and chat over coffee with a friend? Not always an easy decision on a day like this!
At 11:23 AM EDT, you will find it easier to settle on one direction or the other as Venus, the planet of pleasure and social graces, forms a flowing trine aspect to Saturn, the planet of responsibility and determination. Whatever choice you make will deliver stable benefits and grace under this influence. You can bring beauty and style to your work or responsibility and structure to your social interactions.
At 2:15 PM EDT, when the Moon opposes elusive Neptune you will want to take a break to meditate or simply daydream. Allow compassion to color your interactions with others as you move into the evening hours.
BEST BET: VULNERABILITY
Friday, June 2, 2017:
The day begins with action-oriented Mars in flighty Gemini forming an uncomfortable square to Chiron, the planet of deep wounding. You may feel tired and unsure of your ability to function, given the reality of deep personal trauma. Troublesome conversations may feel initially excruciating, however, do not avoid these conversations. Allowing deep vulnerability has the potential to bring powerful healing under this influence.
Friday’s Virgo Moon is not feeling as helpful or friendly as she did on Thursday. First, she squares melancholy Saturn at 11:22 AM EDT, followed by another challenging square to impulsive, angry Mars at 5:49 PM EDT. This can easily be expressed in hurt feelings and defensiveness. Again, your best bet is to allow yourself to be open and amenable, to not jump to your own defense but simply let the moment pass. Three deep cleansing breaths will bring you back to equilibrium.
At 8:04 PM EDT, the Moon enters Libra bringing your attention to the need for interdependence and graceful cooperation.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:49 PM EDT until she enters Libra at 8:04 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

ANTICIPATION – EXCITEMENT – JOY
Saturday, June 3, 2017:
While we slept (at 3:31 AM EDT), harmonious Venus joined with defiant, inspirational Uranus at 27 degrees Aries. This is the beginning of a cycle of anticipation, excitement, or breakdown regarding love, resources, and beauty (all Venus issues). If nothing new is possible, breakdown is inevitable.
Plant a seed to grow with non-conformity in love, originality in beauty, or inspiration toward the growth or use of money and resources. This ends the cycle of these same issues that began on April 22, 2016. Whatever began then now completes, allowing an entirely new direction or simply an upgrade to a higher level of expression.
At 12:12 PM EDT, the all-powerful Sun forms a flowing trine aspect to expansive Jupiter allowing you to see your life from an extraordinarily larger than life perspective. Look for experiences in the everyday that open your heart to joy, wisdom, and optimism.
Throughout the day, the Moon continues through lovely Libra forming positive aspects along the way to both Jupiter and the Sun. Enjoy social connections that bring charm, romance, and diplomatic grace.
SLIPPERY ILLUSIONS
Sunday, June 4, 2017:
Don’t be surprised if you wake up Sunday morning surrounded by an air of confusion, bewilderment, or deep compassion toward others. At 12:13 PM EDT, the rational Gemini Sun forms a stressful square aspect to elusive Neptune. Your imagination is heightened and yet, it is slippery and illusory, making it not terribly workable. Spend time in meditation or simply listening to music and allowing yourself to dream.
At 12:15 PM EDT, Mars leaves perceptible, talkative Gemini behind and enters protective, inward Cancer. Mars, the planet of courage and initiative, is uncomfortable in any Water sign (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces), as he wants to take direct action with assertiveness to get what he wants. In Cancer, Mars is unable to take such an approach as he runs into issues of mood swings and touchiness. You may notice yourself tending more toward defensiveness and being overly protective toward those you love. Mars will remain in Cancer until he enters dramatic Leo on July 20, 2017.
The Libra Moon will assist you in maintaining balance throughout the day. At 9:22 PM EDT, as the Moon sextile Saturn, you can settle into a level headed stability and a good night’s sleep that will support you in moving into the coming week!

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transits between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
* The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
* The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
