DON’T TAKE THE BAIT
Monday, May 22, 2017:
Monday will likely be a high-energy day in all the best and most challenging ways possible. All aspects are aspects of the transiting Aries Moon. Keep in mind that Moon aspects refer to quick moving situations and their impact will not last, except through our response to them.
The Moon is in fiercely courageous Aries heightening your impulsiveness, assertiveness, and even your libido!
At 10:10 AM EDT, when the Moon joins with Venus, you know what you desire and are willing to take any risk for love.
At 2:44 PM EDT, you may encounter resistance in the form of power struggles, anger, or obsessive thoughts bringing up issues that have been previously hidden. Don’t take the bait. Remain self-contained and it will all look far more manageable by Tuesday following the Moon’s entrance into steadfast calm Taurus.
Everyone may encounter a sense of being a bit too hot under the collar, but for all of us our bark may be bigger than our bite.

FOCUS ON SELF CARE
Tuesday, May 23, 2017:
After the ruckus and turmoil of Monday, we are soothed by the Moon’s entrance into Taurus at 8:33 AM EDT. This is a good day to pay attention to the ways in which you connect with the pleasures of your senses. Seek contentment, indulgence, comfort, and beauty.
Keep in mind that we are in the Dark Phase of the Moon, only a few days from the Gemini New Moon on Thursday. This suggests a time of inward contemplation, a time to find those things that bring contentment and satisfaction on a deeply personal level.
Wednesday will bring much the same. Find as much time as possible to focus on self-care.
The Aries Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:00 AM EDT until she enters Taurus at 8:33 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

INNER REFLECTION
Wednesday, May 24, 2017:

Wednesday should be a great day to channel the dependable, level-headed Taurus Moon into constructive effort as she forms a powerful trine aspect to compelling powerful Pluto at 3:08 PM EDT. The gift of this competent and vigorous energy will remain with you throughout the day.
Keep in mind that with the Moon VOC* Wednesday afternoon, it is a time to work on already established projects, not a time to start anything new. Also, we are still in the Dark Phase of the Moon, and it is best to remain on the hushed unobtrusive side in all things. Inner reflection could bring deep self-understanding.
Enjoy a quiet evening with good food, loving connection, a hot bath, and a massage (if you can get one – or give one).
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:08 PM EDT until she enters Gemini on Thursday morning at 8:16 AM EDT.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

GEMINI NEW MOON – POWERFUL CONVERSATIONS
Thursday, May 25, 2017:
Thursday is a powerhouse of a day; the day that defines the entire week.
At 12:21 PM EDT, Venus, the planet of love, money, and all that we hold most dear, forms a challenging square aspect to Pluto, the planet of destruction and transformation. This brings us to the First Quarter Square of a cycle that began in late November 2016. This is a cycle empowering your values, your love relationships, and your connection to your resources.
What began for you in November? Did you begin a new engagement with love, money, your deep values, or beauty? Think back to that time, determine what you began in this arena and take a specific action to bring it forward. The full illumination of the cycle will be clear on August 15th, 2017.
This square aspect between Venus and Pluto can bring relationship issues to a crisis point where change must occur. If someone you love brings a concern to the table on Thursday, do your best to practice deep listening and resist unconscious reactions. Keep your heart and mind open to the fact that change does not have to destroy our relationships or our prosperity, it can deeply and grandly empower us as we move forward.
At 8:16 AM EDT, the Moon enters Gemini to join the Gemini Sun for the New Moon at 3:45 PM EDT. Prepare for your New Moon ritual but give it a day or so before you perform the ritual. It is best to wait for the Moon to gain a bit of distance from the Sun.
The Gemini New Moon is planting a seed of communication or seed of gathering information. Form your aspirations with this in mind.
If you begin a new significant conversation on Thursday. pay attention to how that conversation engages your thinking and how the relationship grows over the coming month.
For your Gemini New Moon ritual, set an intention regarding curiosity, the expansion of knowledge, and your ability to communicate what you understand. This is the perfect time to start a friendship or a conversation. Perhaps, you can arrange the time and space to begin an important conversation.
If you know what house in your birth chart holds 4° Gemini, it will help you clarify where to direct your intellectual curiosity. If you don’t have that information, simply go with your instinct of what area of your life learning wants to grow in intellectual understanding.
Please don’t neglect this New Moon ritual. Keep it simple, take a moment to write down what ideas or learning you wish to begin, create, or increase in this upcoming cycle.
Have two candles available for the ritual; light the first candle to represent yourself, just as you are in this moment. Light the second candle as an aspiration of what you intend to create. Each day take a moment to focus on yourself as you light the first candle, when you light the second candle, focus on drawing to you what you are choosing to create as you bring the two candles closer together. Do this each day and at the Full Moon in two weeks, you will bring them fully together and acknowledge the result of what you have created.
The Gemini New Moon suggests that you plant a seed of intellect, inquisitiveness, enthusiasm, and new conversations. Share this ritual with your friends and loved ones.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:08 PM EDT on Wednesday until she enters Gemini on Tuesday at 8:16 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC,* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

APOLOGIZE, IF NECESSARY
Friday, May 26, 2017:
On Friday, you can let all the complexities of Thursday settle into your system; much about this day will be about assimilation and moving forward with your intentions. Friday is a considerably less complex day, even with the Moon still in active, curious, talkative Gemini.
The morning begins with the chatty Gemini Moon forming a challenging square to ethereal Neptune at 6:25 AM EDT. This could suggest misunderstandings or confusion at the breakfast table and a lack of clarity on how to proceed into the day.
At 3:50 PM EDT, as the Moon sextiles lovely Venus, you may find yourself speaking or hearing words of appreciation and love. Enjoy connecting. Take action to move closer to your desires in relationship, love, and finances.
At 10:20 PM EDT, as the Moon conjuncts assertive Mars, you may find that you have spoken more than you intended to or were not as diplomatic as you could have been with your words. If you need to apologize, do so before sleep. With awareness and self-responsibility, the issue will pass quickly, as Moon transits do. The apology will help.

NURTURE FAMILY AND HEARTH
Saturday, May 27, 2017:
The Moon begins Saturday morning VOC*, still in Gemini but moves into domestic Cancer at 7:25 AM EDT. As we set aside the quick, sometimes frenetic energy of Gemini, we enter into a weekend with the focus on family, nurturance, and deep emotional connection. This is an astrologically quiet day which leaves us to engage fully in what the Cancer Moon offers.
As the Moon moves through the zodiac, it sets the emotional tone of our days.
With the Moon in family-oriented Cancer, you will want to engage in maternal activities revolving around home and family. You may feel sentimental and even absorbed in memories of the past. Your emotions are heightened, you may experience significant mood swings, and want to retreat to the safety of home and a private environment. This is a time of sensitivity; a time to seek comfort by sticking with what is familiar. Enjoy comfort foods, take a long hot bath and spend time with children or the elderly engaging in activities that nurture the heart.
The Gemini Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:19 AM EDT until she enters Cancer at 7:25 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

ENGAGE DEVOTION – SPREAD LOVE
Sunday, May 28, 2017:
Sunday begins with Mercury, the planet that represents our thinking and communication, forming a lovely sextile aspect to Neptune, the planet of compassion and devotion.
On March 4, 2017, when Mercury and Neptune joined together in Pisces, did you start or increase your meditation practice or did your thinking turn in a new direction of transcendence? This was the beginning of a year-long cycle of immersing your mind in imagination, compassion, or the mystical.
Sunday provides an opportunity to explore ways to increase your view of the world from a mystic, inclusive, and inspired perspective.  Engage fully in prayer or meditation.
The Moon continues through tender Cancer asking that you stay close to home, family, and loved ones. Mid-afternoon, there could be power and control issues, as the Moon opposes Pluto at 2:05 PM EDT. Again, the quick moving Moon transits give us the opportunity to see the issues for future consideration and learning. However, do not respond to any bait given. Allow the issues to roll past without unconscious engagement.
Spread love.

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transits between the planets.  I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods.  I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
* The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
* The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
