The Changing Moon this week:
The Moon sets the emotional tone as she moves through the Zodiac day-to-day. It takes approximately 28 days to traverse the entire Zodiac. Learning to work with this rhythm will help you align with and relax into an easier flow with the Universe. The luminous Moon spends approximately 2 ½ days in each sign before she moves on to the next.
The week begins with the Moon in hard-working Capricorn where she will remain until she enters Aquarius in the wee hours of Tuesday morning (2:41 AM EST). While the Moon is in Capricorn we are self-motivated and ambitious. We are inclined toward serious projects that are best tackled alone. Productivity is important on Monday so plan the day with accomplishments in mind.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Moon is in objective, freedom-seeking Aquarius. With the Moon in Aquarius support inclusive humanitarian endeavors. Aquarius is a Fixed Air sign that objectively understands and seeks freedom for the diversity of humanity and life itself.
At 9:44 AM EST on Thursday the Moon enters Pisces remaining in this Mutable Water sign until entering Aries on Saturday evening. While the Moon is in Pisces we are emotionally vulnerable and inclined toward dreamy sensitivity. We are now in the Darkest Phase (Balsamic) as we move toward the Pisces New Moon on Saturday morning. The sensitive waters of Pisces offer flexible acceptance and a deep understanding and connection to Source.
Use the Dark of the Moon for rest, dreaming, and renewal. Create imaginative works of art, write poetry, meditate, rest and dream.
The Pisces New Moon is exact at 23degrees Pisces at 6:22 AM EST on Saturday. As you consider the seed of new growth to plant at this New Moon, find the house that holds Pisces in your horoscope. See the listing below.
On Saturday evening the Moon enters Aries waking us up as though from a dream. Sunday will be a more energetic day as we close out the week on a note of assertive independence. Aries thrives on the ability to take direct, fast, individual action. Get outdoors and use your body in an assertive and powerful manner.

EFFORT AND INTUITION – Monday, March 8, 2021
The week begins with the Moon in hard-working Capricorn. When the Moon is in the ambitious sign your attention is best utilized in the service of a serious project or personal ambition.
At 9:41 AM EST with a sextile to Neptune, the morning is infused with a bit of dreaminess related to this ambitious project.
The ability to focus while also accepting the wisdom of intuition is high. This is a powerful combination, allowing a great deal of important work to get done. Today is not great for teamwork and you will do your best work on your own.
The evening may bring with it anxiety or aggravation when the Moon joins with Pluto at 7:53 PM EST. Get to sleep early and put the intensity of this transit into your nighttime dreams.
_The Capricorn Moon is void-of-course from 7:53 PM EST until she enters Aquarius in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. This suggests that what occurs during this time will not have much impact._
INNOVATION AND OBJECTIVITY – Tuesday, March 9, 2021
The Moon entered the objective, freedom-loving sign of Aquarius while you were sleeping. Did you wake with memories of wildly eccentric dreams? Paying attention to dreams can open deep connections to the wisdom hidden within the subconscious mind.
When she entered Aquarius, the Moon joined Saturn, Jupiter, and Mercury. Pay attention to unusual, innovative, and unconventional thoughts and ideas that come to you today. There are powerful innovative ideas looking for those who will pay attention. Remain cool and objective in the face of complex humanitarian issues.
The Moon squares Uranus at 5:06 PM EST. You may have interactions with others that open your eyes to excitement or anxiety. Innovative and unusual solutions may come to you unexpectedly.
The open window of innovation is short-lived and closes rapidly when the Moon conjunct Saturn at 7:45 PM EST. You may feel discouraged and somehow restricted by outside forces. Sit down with a serious book or do some journaling to help understand the unfolding growth of your soul.

ILLUMINATE THE MYSTERY – Wednesday, March 10, 2021
The Moon continues her travels through quirky, unusual, objective Aquarius today. Today you have the ability to remain objective and even aloof in the face of overwhelming emotional circumstances. Engage fully with your most unique ideas and viewpoints.
The most significant astrological statement today comes with the conjunction of the Sun to Neptune, exact at 7 PM. This has been building over the past day or two and will continue over the next few days. Wherever the Sun shines, its light warms and illuminates.
As the Pisces Sun conjuncts Neptune it illuminates powerful undercurrents of spiritual sensitivity. Intuition and instinctive understandings may temporarily weaken your connection with solidly grounded reality. Your intuition, imagination, and understanding of spirituality take center stage. On the other hand, you may feel confused, overly trusting, or suspicious longing for an escape of sorts. Keep on the positive side of this transit through meditation, music, poetry, or creating objects of beauty.
A conjunction between two planets marks the beginning of a new cycle. Today the Sun and Neptune begin a one-year cycle of illuminating the mystery of our connection to the Source of all. Plant a metaphorical seed and begin the growth of deep mystical understanding.

REACHING BEYOND BOUNDARIES – Thursday, March 11, 2021
The morning begins with the Moon still in future-oriented, inventive Aquarius. Your mind begins the day engaged in creative activity and forward-thinking. However, today’s story slows down when the Moon enters Pisces at 9:44 AM EST. We are in the darkest part of the Lunar Cycle as we approach the Pisces New Moon on Saturday morning.
For the next few days you will want to move slowly, rest, and allow yourself to doze, drowse, and dream. Today and tomorrow are powerful days for deep meditation as the boundaries between self and Source are permeable. Allow yourself to see beyond the boundaries that normally keep yourself separate from others.
This is also a powerful time for ritual and engaging in deep practices of compassion and unconditional love.

DREAM A LITTLE DREAM – Friday, March 12, 2021
If you don’t have to rush off anywhere this morning make sure the alarm is turned off so you can lounge in bed. Begin the day with meditation followed by soothing music and a perfect cup of coffee. Of course, that is the ideal. Even though the reality of our lives seldom matches our dreams, go ahead and dream a little dream today.
The Moon in Pisces thrives on dream spaces and gentle mystical emotions. While the Moon is in Pisces we all feel softer, more adaptable, sensitive, and compassionate than usual.
Find an emotional retreat for the day if you are able. You may be drawn to water, poetry, film, and/or music. Compassion, intuition, and imagination are easy to engage with. Spend time on your meditation cushion, enjoy a movie, a glass of wine, or a hot bath.
You will have time to take action on the compassion you build today when the Moon enters Aries tomorrow evening.
ELUSIVE BEAUTY AND DEEP COMPASSION – Saturday, March 13, 2021
Another Lunar Cycle begins today with the Pisces New Moon at 5:2 AM EST. You may feel overwhelmed with powerful sensitivity and emotion today. This New Moon is in close contact with mystical Neptune and romantic Venus.
This is the last lunation of winter and offers a time of rest and sensitivity before we engage fully with the forward motion of Spring.
In the wee hours of tomorrow morning, Daylight Savings Time begins here in New England with Spring so close we can smell it. We are only a week from the Spring Equinox and the shift of season will be official.
At 6:43 PM EST, the Moon leaves the sensitivity of Pisces behind and enters fast-moving, assertive, and fiery Aries. Plan something this evening to release energy, go for a run, engage your body in an activity that will test its limits. Don’t take unwise risks but you will sleep better if you push yourself.
PISCES NEW MOON RITUAL
Take a moment to write down the changes you wish to begin, create, or increase in this Moon Cycle.
The Pisces New Moon suggests that you plant a seed of mystical understanding, compassion, and dreamy imaginings. Consider planting a seed to grow and develop your most tender sympathies toward those who need it most. Plant this metaphorical seed in the area of your life indicated by the house that holds Pisces in your chart.
Have two candles available. Light the first to represent yourself, as you are right now. Light the second candle as inspiration for the change you want to create during this cycle. Take a moment to focus on your intention as you light each candle. Imagine drawing the change you desire toward you as you physically bring the two candles closer together. When you are done with the ritual blow out the candles, you will come back to them each day and do the same ritual each day for two weeks.
At the Full Moon, you will bring the candles together where they will touch for the first time. Here you see clearly and acknowledging what you have created.
The energy you infuse into this cycle is also building within the larger cycle that will bring us to the Pisces Full Moon on September 20, 2021.
_The Pisces Moon is void-of-course from 11:38 AM EST until she enters Aries at 6:43 PM EST. This suggests that what occurs during this time will not have much impact._
MAKE A WISH & REST IN TRUST – Sunday, March 14, 2021
Even with the Moon in Aries today you are going to be in a dreamy Neptunian space. Engaging the Moon in physical activity will bring a wonderful lively energy to the day. Other than that allow dreamy compassionate sensitivity to rule the day.
As the day begins Venus joins with Neptune, following the Sun’s lead yesterday. This is the start of a new cycle of building sensitivity in the area of love, partnership, and beauty. This is a rather magical and very romantic transit.
Ask yourself how to bring mystical sensitivity to your love relationships or creative projects. You could begin a new work of beauty in the real world or the world of your imagination. Your heart is highly attuned to magic, beauty, and romance.
If you find yourself confused and considering ways of escape, stop trying to make sense of things that are simply intangible. Allow the world to not make sense even as you plant a metaphorical seed for magical love. Don’t try to figure it out, allow the world to be out of focus for a day or two. Make a wish. Rest in trust.
At 2 AM we moved our clocks forward and I will now be posting times in EDT rather than EST.
In these weekly reports, I explore the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and give rise to fleeting moods. The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
