By the time you wake this morning, Mercury, the planet of thoughts and ideas has entered fluid, drifty Pisces. Mercury will remain in Pisces until April 10th. Your emotions will continue to have a strong influence on your thinking. This may create a challenge with concentration and focus, even as it eases and encourages imagination and creativity.
The Final Quarter Moon occurs in the wee hours of the morning, while you slept. What negative idea, attitude or assumption did you wake with that you need to release? Breath deeply, relax, release.
With the Sun and Mercury in Pisces and the Moon in Sagittarius, you may feel overwhelmed by misconceptions or delusions. Don’t fall prey to conspiracy theories in these difficult days.
At 12:25 PM EDT, the Moon enters Capricorn bringing you down to earth with a thud. It is time for your attention to turn to what is practical and necessary. As the Moon joins with the South Node and squares Chiron, we must face reality and commit to the learning required.
There is always a silver lining. The challenge is to keep your eyes open and recognize it when you see it.
*** The Sagittarius Moon is void-of-course from 5:35 AM EDT until she enters Capricorn at 12:25 PM EDT. This suggests that what occurs during this time will not have much impact.

GIVE WHAT YOU CAN, ASK FOR WHAT YOU NEED – Tuesday, March 17, 2020

The Moon passes through the mid-degrees of Capricorn forming supportive aspects to Venus and Neptune.

It is important to make a serious effort to support others with love and acceptance today. If your friends or loved ones are stuck in negativity and fear they need to hear from you. Consider it your job today to uplift others. Go out of your way to find out who needs a kind word or grocery delivery.

Seek practical ways to help.

This is a day to develop a plan and build a structure for the days and weeks ahead. Pay attention to the limitations of time and energy.

Plan for success.

You are far more resourceful than you may realize, this is something you can learn to appreciate over the coming days.

Consider what you want and then make it a point to give that to others. If you want attention, give attention. If you want love, give love. If you want money, give money. If you want practical guidance, give practical guidance.

Generosity begets generosity. This is a principle of life.

Capricorn is a somber sign, asking that we face reality and help others to do the same. Develop your capacity to help and ask for what you need.

A SOBER DAY RICH WITH POSSIBILITY  – Wednesday, March 18, 2020
Today’s Capricorn Moon will be more challenging than yesterday’s. Over the course of the day, she meets up with the gathering of planets in Capricorn, conjunct Mars, Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn. The most difficult side of Capricorn brings issues of gloom, despair, and fear. Don’t deny these feelings but do breath through them with acceptance.

This is not the time to roll over and give up.

Make any adjustments necessary to avoid resigning yourself to doubt, dread, or fear. Find someone who needs help more than you do. Seek out a vulnerable neighbor or friend who may be too fearful to go out for necessary groceries. Be a shining beacon of kindness. If you are vulnerable, allow someone else the privilege of helping. Ask for what you need.

By helping others you will brighten your own day regardless of circumstances. By asking for help you will open the heart of another.

Work on a practical plan for how to manage the days ahead. Are you working from home? If schools are in your area are closed, can you care for someone else’s child so they can go to work?

This can be a very sobering day as you become more and more aware of the need for structure and planning ahead. This is a time that is also rich with the possibility of growing connections and support.

At 9:16 PM EDT, the Moon enters Aquarius giving you a more global perspective and more objectivity in your approach. A bit of the heaviness of the day will lift as you head to bed.

Make deep sleep a priority.

SUN ENTERS ARIES – SPRING EQUINOX – Thursday, March 19, 2020

The Spring Equinox (11:49 PM EDT) is an important marker, as the Sun enters Aries and we begin a new Astrological year.

At the Spring Equinox, the Sun shines directly on the equator and the length of day and night are equal. This marks the movement of the Sun across the celestial equator from South to North.

Spring is here in the Northern Hemisphere while Winter begins in the Southern Hemisphere.

As the Sun moves through Aries (until April 19), we learn to face our fears with courage and determination or we resist, kicking and screaming.

It is time to push a new agenda forward. You are unlikely to take no for an answer in whatever questions you may be asking.

Look to the house that holds Aries in your chart. This is the area of your life where your determination and leadership is strong over the coming month.

Before the Sun entering Aries (7:49 PM EDT) it forms a wonderful sextile to Saturn. This suggests that as you adjust to the ‘new normal’ the resources that you need are available.

Today’s Aquarius Moon supports objectivity as you determine how to help your community work for the greater good of all concerned.

THE LESSON OF SPRING – RENEWAL – Friday, March 20, 2020
Hallelujah, it is Spring. Regardless of any anxiety and fear that bubbles up when we look around us, life is constantly renewed. Remember that.

Life is all about cycles. Everything goes through a series of steps. These steps begin with birth, move to exploration, growth, anticipation, illumination, dispersion, change, letting go, and the final step is death. But not so quick, there is another step following death, that step is Rebirth. There is always renewal. That is the lesson of Spring.

The Moon moves through Aquarius today keeping your attention on the larger community. Continue looking for ways to help those who are most vulnerable in these challenging times.

At 7:34 AM EDT Mars conjunct Jupiter begins a 2-year cycle of bringing initiative and courage to something that offers a great personal reward. Today, plant a seed to take direct action on your convictions. This process will grow over time. The seed you plant is one of action and determination.

The house in your chart that holds Capricorn will provide clues for understanding. Expect to feel the energy of this transit for a few days.

*** The Aquarius Moon is void-of-course from 5:01 AM EDT until she enters Pisces tomorrow morning at 8:34 AM EDT. This suggests that what occurs during this time will not have much impact.

The Moon enters Pisces at 8:34 AM EDT bringing us to a very sensitive weekend.

If you feel sad, lonely, or are struggling with the social, and political issues at hand, be careful as you consider how best to spend this weekend.

Resist the urge to reach for drugs, alcohol, or other addictive behaviors as a way to cope. There are other ways that will serve you and your loved ones better.

Spend some time alone on your meditation mat, get out in nature, listen to music, read poetry, or get lost in a long slow film. Allow yourself to daydream. If you have children that need entertaining engage them in fantasy play.

Shortly before midnight, Saturn enters Aquarius. This is a very BIG deal. Saturn has been in Capricorn since December 2017. Yes, a lot has changed in that time. Saturn is the teacher that demands we learn important lessons of maturity, discipline, and self-reliance. Whatever house in your natal chart Saturn is moving through is the area where you need to face reality and take responsibility.

What house holds Aquarius in your chart? You will become very familiar with the issues of this house over the next few years.

I will be writing a separate post about Saturn entering Aquarius over the next few days.

When Saturn changes sign it suggests a good time to get a consultation to help you understand how to work best with these energies. Watch for that. In the meantime, set up an appointment to meet with me over the coming weeks.

SEEKING NEW PERSPECTIVES  – Sunday, March 22, 2020
Anticipate surprising news or stimulating conversations this morning. A sextile aspect from Mercury to Uranus at 9:18 AM EDT activates the mind and opens your thinking to new perspectives. Brilliant ideas and manners of communications push you forward throughout the day.

The Moon continues through soft-spoken Pisces so you may want to keep all that mental excitement to yourself. Write a poem to bring your ideas forth with a softer edge. Simple daydreaming may prove to be your favorite activity this afternoon.

At 11:07 PM EDT Venus forms a sweet sextile to Neptune bringing sweet dreams or romantic connections. Bring the weekend to a close on a soft dreamy note.

* In these weekly reports, I explore the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and give rise to fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
