We can look forward to an interesting week ahead! Clearly, there are different things impacting all of our individual charts. However, what we are looking at through these astrology transits is the overall environment we all share.
Regardless of what we are encountering as individuals, we all live in the same environment and are being impacted by that environment. This week appears to provide a relatively smooth ride with powerful opportunities presented in the latter half of the week.
The week starts with the Moon in Sagittarius and the excitement of Venus connecting to the Fire Trine between Jupiter and Uranus. This Fire Trine and its implications point to the necessity of embracing and bringing forth the excitement and possibilities of the future.
On Monday, Venus trine Uranus allowing us see how far we have come in developing new values, relationships, and resources. We see our world from a very different perspective then we did four months ago. On Wednesday, Venus will conjunct with Jupiter, keeping the excitement or anxiety alive between Uranus and Jupiter (who came to an exact trine last week).
Our ability to see necessary change is tremendous! Our values and beliefs are undergoing a tremendous upheaval and renewal.
When any two planets make contact, I like to think about the entire cycle between them. Consider the conjunction between the Sun and the Moon. The New Moon is in the sky; it is the beginning of the Lunar cycle.
The cycle between Venus and Uranus (which began in early March) is a cycle of intensification and sudden change of our values. New awareness is brought suddenly to our deeply held values.
In the USA, I see this mirrored in the racial situations and ongoing conversation regarding race and society. I think white people are finally beginning to wake up to the deeply rooted white supremacy we have all been raised in. A huge internal change is demanded from society. It is time to wake up!
Uranus always brings us forward into a space of individuality and the understanding of human progress. I see a tremendous opportunity for all of us to be looking with renewed clarity at difficult hidden issues. The United States’ institutional racism is the obvious example that we have tried to sweep under the carpet for so long. #blacklivesmatter
I see the transformation that has been set in motion over the last few years (related to the Uranus Pluto square). This aspect brings forth the demand that we grow and change in ways that may not be comfortable (an understatement) but are immensely necessary for growth.
The necessity to push forward is an individual process as well as a collective process. We each need to look at our own culpability on the issue of racism and white privilege. Clearly, we have allowed ourselves to remain ignorant and silent for too long.
On to the dailies!
MOVE TOWARD EXCITEMENT AND CHANGE
Monday, June 29, 2015:
The Moon is in freedom loving Sagittarius on Monday encouraging us to broaden our perspective and imagine what lies outside any boxes we may feel stuck in.
However, the most important astrological news on Monday is the trine aspect between Venus and Uranus.
This cycle began in early March and the planets now reach 120 degrees between them. This is a free flow of energy as we see the path forward clearly.
Now is the time to push steadily in the direction we want to see ourselves move in. Our push forward will result in a release of energy and a full expression of the cycle in late November.
This cycle brings us face-to-face with a new way of seeing our most intimate relationships, our money and resources, and our most significant personal values.
Pay close attention to anything surprising or unusual that crosses your path on Monday. Don’t shy away from what is offered.
Keep your eyes and your heart open to anything that brings a spark of excitement even if some anxiety resides within that excitement.
HAVE DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS
Tuesday, June 30, 2015:
There are days and sometimes weeks where there is simply so much excitement and/or potential anxiety that it is hard to maintain focus on what we believe we need to accomplish. This may be one of those days and, perhaps, one of those weeks!
On Tuesday, the Moon is in Sagittarius continuing our push toward expansive awareness and our willingness to be more open than usual about our opinions and perspectives.
It may be an effort, but this would be a good time listen deeply to the opinions of others. It may not be an easy thing to do with our own opinions feeling so very important. Try to understand where others are coming from; share your own ideas without demanding that others agree with you.
The Moon is VOC* following a trine to Jupiter at 2:18 PM EDT. Try to have no high expectations of the late afternoon.
It’s a fine evening for casual connections with like-minded others. Pay attention to the conversations around you. Don’t get stuck with boring, uninspiring, or unchallenging topics. Go ahead and bring up the more difficult conversations; we all need to have them. #blacklivesmatter
FULL MOON: CELEBRATE LOVE, HOPE, VISION
Wednesday, July 1, 2015:
Wednesday is likely to be a busy day! Long before we awake, Venus conjuncts Jupiter beginning a new cycle of expanding love!
We begin anew to bring heart, love, and beauty to our deepest beliefs. The current astrological cycles suggest powerful growth of awareness and understanding regarding our deep-seated beliefs and personal values.
Last week, Jupiter trine Uranus, while this Monday, Venus trine Uranus, and then today, Venus is conjunct Jupiter. These three planets are working together to wake us up to the importance of bringing love to its proper position at the top of our personal values. They are attempting to open our hearts in ways we were unable to in the past. Let us each take this opportunity to wake ourselves up and pay attention to the real issues at hand!
At 5:09 PM EDT, the Sun trine Neptune, this cycle began at the end of February with the development of a dream. How have you moved that dream toward fulfillment?
There is a free-flow of energy bringing you forward now. Perhaps the dream feels too good to be true. If you feel you have stars in your eyes, allow them to remain in place for a few days. Enjoy the softer view of the world that Neptune provides, allow yourself the potential of renewed hope. #Bernie #blacklivesmatter
At 10:19 PM EDT, we reach the Full Moon in Capricorn. At this time, we see the culmination of what began at the New Moon on June 16th.
This Full Moon has a serious edge. Yes, we may want to celebrate and enjoy the perspective of hope, but we know how much is at stake. Gather with others in meditation for the planet and the evolution of our species! Celebrate hope and expansive vision.
OPEN YOUR MIND
Thursday, July 2, 2015:
On Thursday, Mercury gets in on the action of unexpected expansion and beauty! What a powerful week this is! Remember, Mercury is the planet of the mind, our thought processes, our communication skills, and, generally, what we think about.
Over the next few days, Mercury forms sextile aspects to all three of the planets that have been active this week: Uranus, Jupiter, and Venus. The sextile aspect brings possibilities and opportunities. Keep your eyes open for what it’s offered.
This is not the week to withhold yourself. This is a week to allow your mind to get swept into possibilities and to go ahead and take risks with your thinking and your communications.
On Thursday, with the Moon still in Capricorn, there is a clear opportunity to think thoughts you have never thought before! Allow your mind to go in directions that are unexpected. Allow yourself to be open to ideas that you may have spent your whole life resisting. This is no time for resistance.
This is a time to set aside your opinions, set aside the old ways you were raised with, and open to what is now possible in this new post Uranus square Pluto world!
Even with this lovely aspect, we cannot expect everyone to open their eyes to a new way of thinking. This is an opportunity, not a requirement.
With the Capricorn Moon making tough aspects to both Uranus and Pluto, we can anticipate those who will hold hard to their outdated and unfriendly positions. Don’t let that stop you from your mission of expansion and expressing love.
SPEAK YOUR TRUTH
Friday, July 3 , 2015:
Friday begins with a very brief VOC*Moon between 6:37 AM EDT and 8:21 AM EDT when the Moon enters Aquarius. The Moon in Aquarius ushers us into the July 4th weekend with a focus on the expansion of our humanitarian sensibilities. Whatever is worthy of celebration must take on the inclusion of everyone left on the sidelines in the past.
We are expanding, we are opening our eyes, we are ready to move forward… and we are deeply idealistic. It is always a bit of a trick to work toward our dreams and values with deep hope while remaining realistic.
The great thing about the entire weekend, and Friday in particular, is the ability we have to speak our truth. We see what needs to be said, we are able to say it, and others are more apt to hear at this time than usual. We are all open to seeing, and, possibly, embracing a new perspective.
Show others a perspective of the world and this life that focuses on love and service to our fellow humans on this tiny blue planet. Commit to speaking your truth and listening to the truth of others. Spread kindness and acceptance of the diversity of all humans.
CELEBRATE LIFE
Saturday, July 4, 2015:
It is wonderful to encounter a holiday falling on a Saturday that holds such a lovely astrological environment.
The Moon is in Aquarius adding her energy to the interactions with Uranus and Jupiter. We continue enlarging our view of our fellow humans and life in general.
Again, we have a weekend desperately calling to be enjoyed. Remember how short summer is (at least here in Vermont, the home state of Bernie Sanders!)
Make plans, join friends, and celebrate your life! The best plans for this Saturday will include many casual friends. More intimate friends or family connections may not be as satisfying as like-minded others.
Spend time with those who believe as you believe, those you can interact with in stimulating intellectual conversations. Enjoy the day, enjoy others, add your voice to the conversation!
ENJOY AND ALLOW
Sunday, July 5, 2015:
I love to see a Sunday morning with a VOC* Moon. This Sunday that VOC* Moon only lasts from 8:31 AM EDT until the Moon enters Pisces at 10:23 AM EDT. This gives us a few hours to sit over breakfast and coffee with our loved ones. Do not rush into the day.
As the week comes to an end, we feel the intensity of the following week’s aspects coming into focus. We will be looking again into some of the darker corners of our own lives and of humanity’s path.
Mercury sextiles Venus at 4:18 AM EDT continuing to remind us that this is a time to speak words of love and kindness. Sextile aspects (60degrees) offer us opportunities. We do not need to take these opportunities; they can easily be resisted. Don’t resist! If you have words of kindness or love to speak, take the opportunity!
Plan for Sunday to be a low-key day. Walk in the woods, listen to music, go to the theater, or just allow yourself to be lost in your own imagination.
If you are interacting with others, forgo any great exertion of energy or high expectations. Don’t try to control the day; simply allow it to carry you along.

This week: The VOC* Moon!
VOC* (void of course) refers to the period of time between the final aspect that the Moon makes while in one sign until she enters the next sign. This can consist of several minutes or many hours. These periods are best handled with little expectation of accomplishment. These times are ideally suited for rest and contemplation.
Block off these times in your schedule and avoid making significant decisions or working on important projects during these times. During VOC* Moon, focus on routine tasks. You will be surprised at how this one change will smooth the edges of your life!
Do you have questions about what is appropriate to do or not do during the VOC* moon? A simple way to think about it is to ask a simple question: Do I hope that this activity will amount to something? If the activity does not need to amount to anything, go ahead with it!
If you have an expectation or desire that this action is going to amount to something, do not do it while the Moon is VOC*. Think about the time you bought a book you were certain you were going to love and you never could finish it! Think about the time you bought the perfect article of clothing that you ended up never wearing. That is the Moon VOC*!
Tuesday, June 30, 2015 the Moon is VOC* (in Sagittarius) following a trine to Jupiter at 2:18 PM EDT until she enters Capricorn on Wednesday morning July 1, 2015 at 5:10 AM EDT.
Friday, July 3, 2015 the Moon is VOC* (in Capricorn) following a sextile to Saturn at 6:37 AM EDT until she enters Aquarius at 8:21 AM EDT.
Sunday, July 5, 2015 the Moon is VOC* (in Aquarius) following a square to Saturn at 8:31 AM EDT until she enters Pisces at 10:23 AM EDT.

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
