On Tuesday, Venus leaves Taurus behind to enter the busy realm of Gemini. She loved her time in stable, sweet Taurus and although she leaves with some regret, she immediately moves into busy activity and doesn’t look back.
We barely have time to adjust to that shift when Mercury steps out of the sensitive sign of Cancer to enter the dramatic, playful arena of Leo.
Sunday brings us to the Full Moon in Capricorn, illuminating the importance of family connection to serious effort and accomplishment.
With both Mars and the Sun opposing Pluto in these early days of summer, watch for intensity, power dynamics, and serious challenges. Watch as it plays out in the news and in our political system and in your own personal life.
Maintain stability, breathe, and offer kindness. Spend time determining your most powerful forms of self-care and embrace them fully!

How are you feeling after the challenges of the past weekend?
At 12:46 PM EDT, when the intense Scorpio Moon forms a supportive trine aspect to the tender Cancer Sun, you are able to see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. You understand that difficulties are a necessary part of your path and that half the battle is acceptance.
Acknowledging the reality of your situation may be easier than expected as the Moon forms a lovely trine to Neptune at 5:16 PM EDT. Music or poetry will soothe you deeply this evening, as will a candlelight dinner with loved ones.
At 7:14 PM EDT, Venus forms a sextile aspect to Chiron, showing you the importance of slowing down and paying attention to a healing process that began in late January 2017. Take advantage of this soft moment as more intensity lies ahead. As always, remember kindness and self-care. Spread tolerance, decency, and benevolence in all directions.
Tuesday, July 4, 2017:
Tuesday carries with it a great deal of vitality and activity as the Scorpio Moon forms supportive aspects to powerful Pluto and action-oriented Mars. You will be amazed at how much you can accomplish by focusing your attention on necessary projects.
At 8:11 PM EDT, lovely Venus, the planet of love, values, and resources, enters inquisitive Gemini. She is not happy to leave Taurus where she has been since June 6th. Steadfast Taurus is her favorite place as she indulges in sensuality and comfort.
Now, as she enters active Gemini, she will consider her options regarding love and money.  She will be interested in exploring what is available without settling down. In Gemini, Venus is flirtatious, inquisitive, and restless.
A square aspect between mental Mercury and unconventional Uranus at 8:51 PM EDT colors the entire day and its influence is felt into Wednesday. Watch for sudden communications, surprising revelations, excitement, or anxiety. Think twice or count to 10 before speaking. Ask yourself: “Is it true, is it necessary, is it kind?”
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 9:35 PM EDT until she enters Sagittarius at 1:08 AM EDT on Wednesday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

We can anticipate powerful shifting energy before Wednesday comes to a close.
When the day begins, the Moon has left the deep emotional space of Scorpio behind to enter Sagittarius, the sign of philosophical expansion and exploration.
At 8:19 PM EDT, Mercury, the planet representing your manner of thinking and communicating, leaves the inward sign of Cancer to leap into playful, boisterous, and expressive Leo. Your conversations will become more animated and dramatic over the coming days.
At 8:46 PM EDT, the affectionate Cancer Sun forms a flowing trine aspect to mystical Neptune. Following on the heels of this aspect, the Sun forms a challenging square aspect to idealistic Jupiter at 10:43 PM EDT. These two overlapping cycles, one involving dreams, imagination, and the loosening of boundaries (Sun and Neptune) and the other involving your higher philosophical understanding of this life (Sun and Jupiter) will be prominent in your experience moving through both Wednesday and Thursday.
The first aspect (Sun and Neptune) is a cycle of developing compassion and sensitivity, mystical dreams, and deep, devotional spirituality. This cycle began at the very beginning of March. Did you plant a seed at that time that now opens onto a smooth path ahead?
The second of these cycles (Sun and Jupiter) is a cycle expanding your higher philosophical understanding. This cycle began in late September of 2016 as you planted a seed of opportunity and deep understanding. How far has that seed grown? It is time to begin looking forward to the start of a new cycle and a new seed to be planted in September 2017.
Clearly, these two cycles are working together to bring awareness to your philosophical understanding and spiritual growth. Honor your path.
Thursday, July 6, 2017:
Thursday, you can expect to continue working with your own understanding and exploration of your path forward. We are all assimilating the cycles that were highly activated on Wednesday. Spend time on Thursday in the active contemplation of your philosophical and spiritual understanding of your place in the world. Write an essay on where you find yourself.
The Moon is in idealistic, expansive Sagittarius throughout the day. Sit down with friends and plan a trip. Open up a world map and consider what part of the world that you have never seen but would like to experience.
Allow the outside world to take care of itself, set your concerns and worries aside.
Seek out new experiences, pleasures, and those friends who expand your view and understanding. Is there a culture, a philosophical understanding, or a new way of thinking that calls your name? Search it out.
Friday, July 7, 2017:
As Mercury, the planet of communication and our thinking, moves quickly through creative, dramatic Leo, he forms a delightful sextile aspect to lovely Venus in talkative Gemini. This combination is a splendid way to start the day, encouraging easy, open dialogue and facilitating communications of all kinds.
A flowing trine aspect between the Sagittarius Moon and eccentric Uranus at 10:12 AM EDT brings stimulation and excitement to new ideas and the way in which you perceive the world around you.
At 1:45 PM EDT, the Moon enters prudent Capricorn shifting the mood of the day dramatically. Just when the week is about to end, you are likely to feel more ambitious, responsible, and committed to your work. You may accomplish more on Friday afternoon at your job than you did in the previous 4 ½ days. Anticipate bringing a seriously mature focus to the weekend ahead. You may indeed be happy to bring work home.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 10:12 AM EDT until she entries Capricorn at 1:45 PM EDT.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

Saturday, July 8, 2017:
Saturday may not hold a lot of excitement but it will also hold very little anxiety or stress. It will be a great day for quiet contemplation, time alone, or pushing toward accomplishments and achievements.
Things are very quiet astrologically until 6:05 PM EDT when the serious Capricorn Moon forms a curiosity driven sextile aspect to elusive Neptune. Go ahead and open a bottle of wine and settle in for a quiet evening.
At 6:45 PM EDT, the Moon forms a square aspect to expansive Jupiter, so be sure to put away that bottle of wine before you empty it on your own! Keep watch for excess throughout the evening.
The Full Capricorn Moon is exact shortly after midnight (technically, on Sunday in Eastern Time). Be aware, this is an extremely powerful and uncomfortable Full Moon, not the night for excitement and parties. Tap into your inner empowerment with kindness and hold steady.
Sunday, July 9, 2017:
The authoritative Capricorn Full Moon is exact in the early moments of Sunday (12:07 AM EDT). The Full Moon is the passionate and energetic peak of each month. Do not under estimate the intensity of this particular Full Moon!
Pluto, Mars, and Uranus are all directly involved as she reaches full intensification. Watch the outer world and anticipate feelings of powerlessness in the face of political realities.
Remember, that it is your responsibility to accept the truth of your situation and work to express kindness and support toward others with an open, generous heart.
If you have planets between 16 and 19 degrees of Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn), pay close attention to your relationship to power, intensification, and anger in relationships.
If you feel direct internal pressure, please spend time alone. Learn to understand your triggers and practice kindness to yourself and others.
* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transits between the planets.  I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods.  I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
* The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
* The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
