Astrology Forecast: January 28, 2019, through February 3, 2019
“For all its complexity, however, astrology remains fundamentally simple. It offers a time-honored system of symbols that sum up key aspects of human life while providing profound insights and practical guidance.” ~ Anne M. Nordhaus-Bike
The Scorpio Moon is void-of-course from 5:39 PM EST until she enters Sagittarius on Tuesday morning. This condition merely suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.

SPEAK THE TRUTH YOU SEE
Tuesday, January 29, 2019:
At 9:33 AM EST the Moon enters the Mutable Fire sign of Sagittarius where she will remain until Thursday evening. As the Moon leaves Scorpio and entering Sagittarius you can expect your emotions to engage on a more positive enthusiastic note. While in Sagittarius we seek experiences that expand our understanding of the world. Release the intensity of the past few days and kick up your heels. Avoid the tendency to impulsiveness and don’t be condescending to others. Everyone has their view, make sure to keep your eyes/ ears open and allow understanding. Stepping into the shoes of another and seeing their world view will make you a better person and greatly expand your understanding.
At 9:51 PM EST the Sun and Mercury meet at 9 degrees Aquarius. This is the midpoint of the current Mercury cycle, the superior conjunction. You can think of this similarly to how you would think of a Full Moon, it is the culmination of the cycle between the Sun and Mercury that began on November 27th, 2018 at the inferior conjunction. Think about what you may have begun at that time that is now illuminated. Speak the truth as you see it.
The Scorpio Moon is void-of-course until she enters Sagittarius at 9:33 AM EST. This condition merely suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.
EXPAND YOUR VIEW
Wednesday, January 30, 2019:
The Moon continues through Sagittarius encouraging ongoing exploration and understanding. You may have a clear sense of your own wisdom, but remember that not everyone sees the world through your filter. Don’t push your beliefs on others unless it is clear that your ideas are welcome and doing the work of expanding consciousness. If there is resistance, listen carefully to what the other person has to say. They have a perspective that is valid as well. You may learn something new and unexpected.
At 2:07 PM EST with Neptune square the Moon, take a nap, let your imagination run wild, listen to music, or dream. At 7:04 PM EST with the Moon joining Jupiter plan a trip, play with friends, go to a show! Invite a friend to join you, someone outside your normal circle of friends. Expand your view. This is a lovely evening for connection.

STABILIZE YOUR VISION
Thursday, January 31, 2019:
Saturn sextile Neptune is one of 2019s most important aspects. Due to the retrograde cycles, we encounter it once here at the end of January, a second time in mid-June, and finally, in early November, it is active (peaking and ebbing) throughout this period. To me, this speaks of practical energy coming to the service of expanding spirituality, imagination, and vision. It also suggests a time when releasing an addiction of any sort will be supported.
A door of awareness opens allowing suffering to be tackled in a new way. With Saturn’s involvement integrity, facing reality, and responsibilities offer opportunities to release suffering and develop human compassion. We do not own our suffering. We all partake in human suffering. Suffering teaches us compassion as we understand that we each suffer as we all suffer.
At 7:48 PM EST the Moon enters Capricorn ushering in more serious emotional states for the next few days. Plan plenty of alone time over the next few days to work with steadfast focus. These days are for deepening your inner adult and developing mastery of your life.
The Sagittarius Moon is void-of-course from 5:33 PM EST until she enters Capricorn at 7:48 PM EST. This condition merely suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.
“Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.” ~ Og Mandino
GET OUT OF THAT RUT
Saturday, February 2, 2019:
The Capricorn Moon may feel heavy and uncomfortable as she joins with both serious restrictive Saturn and obsessive Pluto early in the day. It will be interesting to see how frustration may mix with the high stimulation of the trine aspect formed between Venus and Uranus at 6:41 PM EST. When Venus and Uranus speak to each other you can anticipate a desire for something new and innovative regarding love and partnership. If you and a partner have fallen into any kind of a rut, this is the time to break out of that rut. Make your Saturday night date something you have never done before, or scrap the date altogether and spend the evening on your own. There is no doubt that freedom calls to you. Your most unique unusual side wants room for full expression. Experiment with new ways of interacting with your loved ones. The same old, same old just will not satisfy.
Insisting that nothing change is likely to backfire, so allow change, even if it is unsettling, at least for the weekend. New relationships can start quickly at this time, although those started now will most likely not stand the test of time.
“We use astrology most constructively and creatively when we gain from it a sense of what is possible for us at the highest levels of our potentialities. Seeing that, the challenges is then to keep our eyes open to life itself, to be able to respond appropriately when some event or change of circumstances…”

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
