A TWO-WAY STREET – Monday, February 17, 2020
Today begins with the Moon in Sagittarius forming a square aspect to the dreamy planet Neptune. It may be difficult to understand your sensitive dreamy emotional state.
If your life is such that you are able to set out on a road trip this morning rather than head back to work, do that. Enjoy a new experience, go somewhere you have never been. If you must head to work, do so with a sense of curiosity about everyone you encounter. Go out of your way to spend time with those whose life experience is very different from your own. Allow your perspective and your opinions to open and deepen.
With the Moon in Sagittarius, it is up to you to decide how to manage your beliefs and opinions. You can either hold your opinions as gospel truth or you can learn from the perspective of others. It is easy for us to think we are right and others wrong. Remember that everyone has a valid reason for their beliefs.
If you hold your opinions as superior to others you will never have the opportunity to share your perspective. Only when we listen and hear others’ can they begin to hear and understand us. Remember this, it is a two-way street.

PISCES NEW MOON: CREATE BEAUTY – PLAN INDULGENCE – Sunday, February 23, 2020
In the wee hours of the morning, the Moon leaves the excitement and innovation of Aquarius behind. She moves into Pisces in preparation for the New Moon at 10:32 AM EST.
I see this as a rather iconic weekend. Friday and Saturday are made for excitement and parties. Sunday brings relaxation before heading back to work for another week.
At 11:58 AM EST Venus, the planet of love and value squares Jupiter the planet of expansion and beliefs. This transit encourages you to have a good time and not worry about work or efforts.
Stay home today, create beauty and love in your environment.
Think ahead about indulgence. Don’t go shopping (Mercury is retrograde anyway). It would be far too easy to spend the rent on pretty bobbles without realizing until it is too late. If you shop for food, you’ll likely bring home plenty of chocolate and ice cream and leave healthy options in the market. There is no need to restrict yourself but plan your indulgences in advance.

Take a moment to write down the changes you wish to begin, create, or increase in this Moon Cycle.
The Pisces New Moon suggests that you plant a seed of mystical understanding, compassion, and dreamy imagination. You may want to plant a seed to grow and develop your most tender sympathies toward those who need it most.
Plant a seed that resonates with your heart.
Have two candles available. Light the first to represent yourself, as you are right now. Light the second candle as inspiration for the change you want to create during this cycle.
Take a moment to focus as you light each candle.
Imagine drawing the change you desire toward you as you physically bring the two candles closer together. Do this each day for two weeks.
At the Virgo Full Moon on March 9, you will bring the candles fully together while acknowledging what you have created.
