STABILIZATION AND EQUILIBRIUM
Monday, February 13, 2017:
Monday offers a solid, stable day to reconnect and strengthen your equilibrium. The Moon continues through steadfast, hard-working Virgo until she enters graceful, refined Libra at 3:43 PM EST.
Monday morning you can anticipate a need to stabilize your position or your emotional state. By mid-afternoon, with the Moon’s entry into Libra at 3:43 PM EST, you are ready to put your most diplomatic, social self forward. You understand the importance of pleasing others in order to allow smooth movement forward in your process and in your life.
Monday offers a pleasant day as we reach for a sweet sextile (an aspect of opportunity) between the Aquarius Sun and Saturn, the planet of responsibility and restraint. This aspect is not exact until the earliest hours of Tuesday but can be clearly felt on Monday evening.
Watch for opportunities to settle into more structured stable patterns or habits as you move forward. Let the energy of strength and self-determination into your dreams and wake with you on Tuesday morning.
The Leo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 12:53 AM EST until she enters Virgo at 8:52 AM EST. So, by the time you are fully into your day, the Moon will be in Virgo. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.
LOVE IS NO EASY GAME
Tuesday, February 14, 2017:
Many of you will awake with thoughts of love and partnership on this Valentine’s Day. With the Moon in romantic, charming Libra, it is an appropriate day to consider your closest love relationships. However, this is not a day to seek or celebrate frivolous or immature love.
The day begins with a sextile aspect between the Sun and stabilizing Saturn at 12:58 AM EST. This is a celebration of structure, stability, and the work that is necessary to create solid growth in our lives and our partnerships. Love is no easy game, and on Tuesday with this seriousness in mind, that is clear to us.
Think about what began at the start of the cycle between Saturn and the Sun on December 10, 2016. What did you decide to begin, grow, or strengthen at that time? Now, consider what you can do over the coming months to support its ongoing growth. In mid-March, when the Sun forms its opening square to Saturn, you will be required to take a major step forward in its process. Consider for now what that upcoming action may be.
As far as the love issue, remember that this year Valentine’s Day is dedicated to serious and committed love. You are being asked to release or deepen the love you are currently engaged in. It is up to you. Let the connection go if you do not feel the need or desire to form some structure that will support its growth.
If you are single, consider your commitment to being single or your commitment to opening to a love partnership. Not everyone desires or needs a committed partnership to support the deepest growth of their soul. Contemplate where you land on the spectrum of need and desire for love and partnership. Gain some clarity.

A ROUGH START LEADS TO PLEASURE
Wednesday, February 15, 2017:
Don’t be surprised to wake on Wednesday morning with a bit of anxiety and even dread. The Libra Moon engages in harsh conversations with empowered Pluto and agitated Uranus, setting us on-edge. Don’t try to run from it or pretend it is not lurking there beneath the surface; don’t let it rule your day either. These are simple Moon transits that do not hold us under their thumb for any extended period of time. Let it go… let it go…
At 11:54 AM EST, when the lovely Libra Moon meets up with Jupiter, you will feel a lightening of emotional constriction; the remainder of the day and evening should be one of the highpoints of the week. The cooperative Libra Moon delights in her conversations with steady Saturn and the energizing Sun. You will want to be social on Wednesday evening, either in a group or with one special friend or partner. Enjoy.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 8:54 PM EST until she enters Scorpio on Thursday morning at 1:41 AM EST.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.
THE ACTION OF SPEECH
Thursday, February 16, 2017:
Isn’t it interesting how a new day can bring such a totally different energy to our lives? When you wake on Thursday morning, the Moon has entered the deep, dark waters of Scorpio asking that we dig deep for inner guidance and clarity.
The lightness and desire to please others that was present on Wednesday is gone. There is an emotional depth to the day that you will recognize in the eyes of all whom you encounter. Go ahead and look deeply but do not try to enter the realm of another without an express invitation.
At 1:14 PM EST, Mercury, the planet of thought and perception, is sextile (an aspect that offers an opportunity) to passionate Mars suggests that your thoughts are on fire for action. You will be able to access innovative ideas regarding the release of some understanding or consideration that began in July 2015.
Ideas and plans that lead to letting go are exposed. In late June of 2017, you will begin a new cycle of heating up your mind with a new plan or understanding of the actions required for the path forward. Seek creativity and motion in your thoughts and plans.
DEEP EMOTION – OFFER GUIDANCE
Friday, February 17, 2017:
On an emotional level, you may regret what you said on Thursday; the communication that you had to deliver. Please remember that the regret is only for the circumstances you have found yourself in, your truth really had to be spoken. It often takes kindness and courage to say what we must.
Allow yourself to stay in a realm of deep emotion throughout the day. You don’t need to run away from the intensity. There is much to learn in the depths of what is hidden away. Go ahead and open your heart to what has long been kept below. Go deep along side those who reach out and need a helping hand. This is a day of depth and longing. Be a light in the dark for those who live without light. Hold up your light to guide them.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:38 PM EST until she enters Sagittarius on Saturday afternoon at 1:53 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

THE INTANGIBLE SENSITIVITY OF PISCES
Saturday, February 18, 2017:
Saturday morning brings a profound shift as The Sun leaves the intellectual brilliance of Aquarius behind to enter the intangible sensitivity of Pisces. This is the time of year that we move to our deepest internal realms of self-understanding. It is important to find inspiration and compassion even as you avoid confusion and a deep desire to escape the harsh realities that are evident in each of our lives.
The coming weeks allow time for deep contemplation as we prepare for the new solar year which begins when The Sun enters exuberant, dynamic Aries on March 20th.
The internally focused Scorpio Moon moves quietly without impact until she enters the fiery, extravagant sign of Sagittarius at 1:53 PM EST.
Over the coming month, you will do well to focus on taking time alone to go inward, to understand your own process of emotional or spiritual growth. It would be easy to spend the time watching TV, smoking weed, or drinking too much. Please make it a point to watch good movies, read poetry, listen to uplifting music, and deepen your yoga or meditation practice. Prepare yourself for the coming Spring by strengthening the pathway of your inner growth.
As the Sun enters a Water sign and the Moon enters a Fire sign, this may be a day imbued with anxiety or sadness as we move forward, adapting and adjusting to this major midwinter shift. Watch a movie, meditate or take at least one nap on Saturday.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) on Saturday until she enters Sagittarius at 1:53 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.
ENGAGE YOUR IMAGINATION
Sunday, February 19, 2017:
I hope you were able to take some steps toward adjusting into the dreamy energy of Pisces on Saturday. If you drank too much or otherwise used Saturday poorly, the difficulty of adjustment will continue into Sunday.
However, if you were able to seamlessly adjust to incoming Pisces energies, Sunday should be a pleasant day. At 10:21 AM EST, the Sagittarius Moon forms a lovely trine aspect to Venus, the planet of love and beauty. We are encouraged to take a step forward or to simply allow love and friendship to flourish.
I would encourage each of you to take a friend to brunch, or join together with a group of friends. Following brunch, take in a movie to celebrate the Pisces Sun and the square to Neptune at 12:44 PM EST. No serious movies please, choose something that will allow you to drift into a space of unreality in a healthy way engaging your imagination, inspiration and deep compassion.

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
* The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
* The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
