If not… I highly recommend that you go do that before you read on.
Jupiter’s Cycle is an important one to watch and pay attention to.
Now onto the Daily Weather:
Monday, December 8, 2014:
The big news on Monday (really the big news of the week) is Jupiter turning retrograde at 22° Leo.
Please see the separate blog post I wrote about this.
Simply put; for the next four months we re-examine the area of our life that has been profoundly expanding since mid July 2014.
This does not mean we have been on the wrong path in this expansion, it does mean that we have the opportunity to go back and find the deeper meaning within this expansion. We may have been under the illusion that this was simply about having a good time. Perhaps we have even worried that our pleasure was for selfish reasons.
For the next four months we seek the deep meaning and philosophical understanding of the path that “Fun” has put us on. Think seriously about this. If you don’t seek the meaning, the pleasure you have experienced will go no deeper and will likely pass away or head in a direction of meaninglessness.
The Sun conjunct Mercury on Monday simply brings our communications and our thinking to the foreground. We may notice ourselves and others forgetting that our opinions are not fact. Watch the areas where you expect others to think as you do. Make it a point on Monday to allow space for the opinions of others.
Compassionately point out to others when you notice them believing that their opinions are ‘god’s truth’.
We can anticipate a bit of tension as the Cancer Moon once again highlights our need to make those heavy changes being brought about by the upcoming Square between Uranus and Pluto.
Have dinner with a friend, you both could use a bit of comfort. Until we get accustomed to it, we are disoriented by the retrograde of Jupiter.
Tuesday, December 9, 2014:
Tuesday is a day to rest within a state of nurturing kindness courtsey of the Cancer Moon. She will be VOC* following a Trine to Saturn at 7:15 PM EST.
At 10:13 PM EST the Moon enters Leo. Sleep with dreams of royalty and the pleasure of full self-expression.
On Tuesday the Sun and Mercury Sextile the North Node; pay attention to folks that you may encounter. If you sense a significant connection to someone you meet on Tuesday, pay attention. It may not be a person (or it may be), it could also be an idea that you encounter. Suffice it to say that there is an opportunity to encounter something or someone who can shift what you believe is possible regarding relationships. Your understanding of what is possible may open to encompass more than you imagined.
This may entail your intimate, romantic relationships or it may speak to your relationship to YOUR PUBLIC.
Be available for the opinions of others to expand your way of seeing what is possible.
Wednesday, December 10, 2014:
As you open your mind to new ideas, what possibilities can you see? What is deeply meaningful within the area of recent expansion. We are repeatedly asked to look at that question this week.
What do you have to offer the world that you have been looking at for the past 5 months without knowing it? Consider what is right before your eyes.
Avoid early morning arguments and frustrations. Remember that you don’t need the last word in any circumstances. Hold your energy above that level of resentment and anger; hold onto the generosity and love that Leo Moon brings.
Wednesday evening may bring something unexpected or unusual to the table. Allow it to move you, bringing your heart to a new place with a wider perspective on the future.
Thursday, December 11, 2014:
Thursday offers us a lovely day! The generous expressive Leo Moon connects with Jupiter opening our hearts to a large philosophical understanding of our current situation.
The Leo Moon also forms a free flowing Trine aspect to the Sun and Mercury. Our exuberance flows freely and optimistically but without a great deal of patience! We want that which we want; we want it now.
Get comfortable moving forward. Find the direction that will put you in the flow of where you want to be. Take steps forward; find that flow.
When you wake up in the morning, take a moment to look at the reality of your situation. Do not sugarcoat that reality; even if it hurts, look clearly. Once you are clear of the reality, consider and visualize where you want to be. Now, make a list of three things that you can do, no matter how minor they may be, that will move you in that direction. Take those baby steps. If you do this each day you will find yourself exactly where you want to be before you know it. It really is as simple as that!
This is a good time to do so. With a copy of your chart you can follow along and see where the significant cycles are working through your life!
Friday, December 12, 2014:
Our thoughts and opinions further expand as Mercury Trine Jupiter early on Friday morning.
We are talking a great deal this week about issues of Jupiter; expanding consciousness, optimism, and generosity. Our thoughts are pushing into new directions that bring us to a clearer place with a wider perspective on our lives (http://vimeo.com/68855377).
If you keep a journal, look back at the first few days of August 2014. What philosophical ideas, or thoughts of indulgence, were occupying your mind at that time? If you can pinpoint what was happening in August, it would be a great exercise for you to consider how far that line of thinking has brought you.
Was there a plan attached to that thinking? Expand upon those thoughts now.
At the very beginning of March 2015 it will be clear where that line of thought has brought you.
Fridays Leo Moon is VOC* following a Square to Saturn at 7:49 AM EST, with the Moon entering Virgo at 10:19 AM EST.
The Virgo moon settles us into a more self-reflective mood for the weekend. As the Moon aspects both Venus and Neptune on Friday there is the potential for a sweetly romantic, yet somewhat analytical, evening.
Saturday December 13, 2014:
A Saturday with a Virgo moon does not point to a weekend of great fun or excitement. However, as we are pushing toward the big Christian holiday, most of us have a great deal to accomplish over the next 12 days. Today’s Virgo Moon Trine Pluto at 11:47 AM EST. Any tasks that require precision or meticulous attention to detail can be accomplished quite readily this weekend.
Consider all the tasks that must be done; make a list, and get to work!
Yes, I understand how close we are to the upcoming Uranus Square Pluto. Yes, I know the transformation that is being demanded in your life may be still teetering on the edge.
For today, set that concern aside. Focus on productivity and dedication to getting the job done.
With the Moon in Virgo we are also able to be of kind service to others. We do not need to be acknowledged for our service, at this time we can function with humility and graciousness. Find the kindness within; bring it to the surface.
Sunday December 14, 2014:
Sunday we continue with the theme of the week; the opening, and making relevant, of the expansion that began in your life over the summer of 2014. We seek a philosophical understanding of our recent path of excitement and pleasure. The Sun Trine Jupiter at 10:55 AM EST. Allow yourself to find, absorb, and pass on deep significance.
At 11:54 AM EST Venus Sextile Neptune offers us the possibility of finding great beauty within our own sensitivity and imagination. My recommendation for Sunday is to immerse your self in music. Find a way to bring music to those in your life who long for it and need it desperately. Please watch the trailer to this document called “Alive Within”!
If you are a spiritual or mystical person, meditate or pray. Find delightfully healthy ways to allow yourself to escape the mundane hard realities of Life.
Yes, drugs and alcohol could take you down that path but not without a cost you would rather not pay.
Spend time with music, poetry, prayer, or meditation; take yourself to a movie. Allow yourself to get lost in your imagination, escape through devotion for dreams.
The Virgo moon continues throughout the day going V O C following a sex tell to Saturn at 9:11 PM EST. The moon enters Libra at 11:05 PM EST.
That brings us to the end of another week. However, I would certainly be remiss to not mention that the six of seven squares between Uranus and Pluto is exact 13 minutes after midnight! First thing Monday morning! Be prepared we are coming to the end of this very long demand for an overhaul of our individual lives are cultures, the entire world, and even our species. I do believe that some of the basic core understandings of our species are being transformed throughout this process. Perhaps that is another blog post!
This week: The VOC* Moon!
Block off these times in your schedule and avoid making significant decisions or working on important projects during these times. During VOC* Moon, focus on routine tasks. You will be surprised at how this one change will smooth the edges of your life!
Do you have questions about what is appropriate to do or not do during the VOC* moon? A simple way to think about it is to ask a simple question. Do I hope that this activity will amount to something? If the activity does not need to amount to anything go ahead with it! If you have an expectation or desire that this action is going to amount to something, do not do it while the moon is VOC*.
Think about the time you bought a book you were certain you were going to love and you never could finish it! Think about the time you bought the perfect article of clothing that you ended up never wearing; that is the moon VOC!
Tuesday, December 9, 2014 Moon is VOC* (in Cancer) following a trying to Saturn at 7:15 PM EST and ending at 10:13 PM EST when the Moon enters Leo.
Friday, December 12, 2014 Moon is VOC* (in Leo) following a Square to Saturn at 7:49 AM EST and ending at 10:19 AM when the Moon enters Virgo.
Sunday, December 14, 2014 Moon is VOC* (in Virgo) following a Sextile to Saturn at 9:11 PM EST and ending at 11:05 PM EST when the Moon enters Libra.
* in these weekly reports I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to it’s VOC time, as that aspect holds it’s influence throughout the VOC*
The Aspects I consider: Conjunctions, Sextiles, Squares, Trines, and Oppositions
The Planets I am working with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
*VOC (void of course) refers to the period of time between the final aspect that the Moon makes while in one sign until she enters the next sign. This can consist of several minutes or many hours. These periods are best handled with little expectation of accomplishment; times ideally suited for rest and contemplation.
