“Science is the art of creating suitable allusions which the fool believes or argues against, but the wise man enjoys for their beauty or their ingenuity, without being blind to the fact that they are human veils and curtains concealing the abysmal darkness of the unknowable.”
~ Carl Gustav Jung
Monday, December 3, 2018:
The day begins with a healthy dose of objectivity. You know what needs to be done and you are not going to let emotions get in your way. However, are you anticipating something that has your heart racing just a touch? Is there someone you expect to encounter that is causing that? Notice it and move on.
At 2:54 PM EST the Moon leaves diplomatic Libra behind to enter into the deeply emotional sign of Scorpio where she joins with lovely Venus. Together they propel you onto a different path. Pay attention to what may be hidden just below the surface. Your heart is ready to follow as your passionate values work to root out something hidden in the darkness. Look within yourself. Resist any desire to lay blame on others. It is time to dig into your own dark corners, shine a light where you have previously been willing to live with denial. No blame, for yourself or others. It is time to seek truth and healing.
The Libra Moon is VOC* from 1:16 PM EST until she enters Scorpio at 2:54 PM EST. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
Tuesday, December 4, 2018:
The Moon continues to pass through Scorpio inclining us to pay more attention to our deep unruly emotions. With Venus and Mercury (retrograde) also in Scorpio, you may find yourself ruminating on issues of power and passion in whatever area of life (house) holds Scorpio in your chart.
You may feel highly uncertain about what action to take in this area and yet feel a strong drive to step forward in some fashion. Wait! With the Moon trine Mars you want to act, but with Neptune’s current involvement you do not have all the information necessary. The Dream that is calling is still unclear and will remain so until you allow the last vestiges of an old dream to dissolve. Hit the pause button. No action is currently needed.
Wednesday, December 5, 2018:
Think about the connection between dreams and suffering. Dreams are unrealistic by nature and when we engage with them we haven’t much of a handle on reality. Suffering and dreams go hand in hand. Did you begin a dream in March of last year? How much suffering has it caused you? We try to reach that which we really can not touch. Have you learned what you need to in order to let go of the suffering and the fantasy? Have you learned to understand more about the reality of the situation? Sun square Neptune. Write a poem, listen to music that makes your heart soar, allow your soul to be untethered. Let go of your attachment to YOUR suffering. It is not yours; human suffering is what we all share. It is not your suffering or mine. The understanding of human suffering connects us all, uniting us in compassion and Love. Understand that your suffering and mine is the same suffering that countless other humans the world over share.
At 9:48 PM EST the Moon enters Sagittarius bringing a lighter edge to our bedtime routines and night dreams of expansive travel and exploration.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* from 4:53 PM EST until she enters Sagittarius at 9:48 PM EST. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

Thursday, December 6, 2018:
The morning greets us with a much lighter emotional tone thanks to the Moon, now in idealistic Sagittarius joining with expansive Jupiter. Add to that the fact that Mercury, having been retrograde for the past three weeks, turns direct at 27° Scorpio (4:22 PM EST). This ends the long slog (since mid_June) of personal planet retrogrades. Finally, all systems are giving us the green light, go ahead and breath a sigh of relief
Looking ahead we can also anticipate Mercury joining the Sun and Jupiter in optimistic happy-go-lucky Sagittarius next week. What are you looking forward to exploring in the area of your chart (house) that hold Sagittarius?
Friday, December 7, 2018:
The expansive Sagittarius New Moon is exact at 2:21 AM EST while you slept. You can do your New Moon Ritual anytime on Friday or Saturday. While the Moon is in Sagittarius allow yourself to listen and pay attention and you will be able to see the world from new perspectives.
At 9:11 AM EST Mars joins with Neptune asking that you take your spiritual calling seriously and begin to look at this from a renewed perspective. This is the beginning of a two-year cycle that will pull you forward in this regard. What you do now matters. Begin a practice that will open you to a higher understanding. One way to think about this is to consider how sexuality and spirituality are able to work together. Think about how you can bring your sexual energy to your spiritual path. What if each of us were to view our sexuality as an important, vibrant part of life, and celebrate it as a path for spiritual practice and connection? Can you imagine how our lives would unfold if we shifted our mindset in this way? Awareness and kindness are key.

~~New Moon Ritual ~~

Take a moment to write down the changes you wish to begin, create, or increase in the upcoming Moon Cycle.
Have two candles available; light a candle to represent yourself, as you are at the moment. Light another candle as an aspiration of what you intend to create. Each day, take a moment to focus on yourself as you light the first candle, then light the second candle, focusing on drawing to you what you want to create, bringing the two candles closer together.
Do this each day until at the Full Moon, you will bring them fully together and acknowledge the result of what you have created.
The Sagittarius New Moon suggests that you plant a seed of exploration, travel, or higher understanding.

Saturday, December 8, 2018:
I’m sure no one wants to read what I have to say after that title but with the Moon entering cautious Capricorn at 7:01 AM EST you may want to make a budget for your holiday spending and spend time in solitude.
This is a weekend to spend working on your goals and ambitions. Get serious about the work that you want to accomplish. Don’t waste time with trivial issues, put a stake in the ground and determine what it is you really want and how to get there.
I know this is a prime holiday party night but next weekend will be far more conducive to a good time. This weekend is put to better use in contemplating what is really important that will help you reach your long-term goals.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* from 5:01 AM EST until she enters Capricorn at 7:01 AM EST. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
Sunday, December 9, 2018:
The Moon remains in responsible disciplined Capricorn pushing us to stay focused on what is most serious and important in our lives. This is not a day of carefree fun or games. This is a good time to focus on pushing past difficult obstacles that have stood in your way. You have the ability to be productive and disciplined. You are able to forego momentary pleasure for more distant long-term gain. What is important to you in the coming months? What can you do now that will support what you hope to bring forth in the future? Your concentration and self-control are strong as is your self-discipline.
It may be difficult to connect with your loved ones as you are feeling a bit ridgid and overly serious. If you are unable to be alone focus on simple kindness. Engage others in considering serious goals for the future.

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.

The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
