We use astrology most constructively and creatively when we gain from it a sense of what is possible for us at the highest levels of our potentialities. Seeing that, the challenges is then to keep our eyes open to life itself, to be able to respond appropriately when some event or change of circumstances…”

Monday, December 17, 2018:

The day begins under the feisty influence of Mars sextile Pluto. Think back to a challenging situation that occurred or began in late April 2018. Bringing that circumstance to mind may open a door toward a more passionate engagement with your life.
The Moon in Aries brings that sense of feistiness into all aspects of the day. Midmorning you may find that you are challenged by someone else’s power dynamics. Engage with determination and well-protected boundaries, do not engage with anger. If anger arises, check in with yourself to determine what exactly hurt your feelings.
At 9:28 PM EST the Aries Moon forms a Trine aspect to the Sagittarius Sun. This is a positive firey energy that won’t want you drifting off to sleep peacefully. If you have a partner to frolic in the sheets with head to bed, otherwise move energy through your body with dance or other engaging activities that bring your whole body into focus. Enjoy.
Tuesday, December 18, 2018:

The Taurus Moon offers a few days early of quiet stability. You will probably be aware of your desire for security, comfort, and beauty. The general mood is sensual, solid, and stable.
Let all of the stress associated with the holidays slide off your back and remember what is really important. It is not about gifts and spending money. Bring beauty into your home with an open heart of love.
Even if there is chaos elsewhere make your bed and put flowers on the bedside table and your dining room table. A calm domestic environment will bring great benefits to everyone involved. If you must buy gifts purchase gift certificates for massage. Everyone needs that!
The Aries Moon is VOC* from 2:21 AM EST until she enters Taurus at 4:37 AM EST. I suspect you will be sleeping. This simply suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.
Wednesday, December 19, 2018:

The desire/ need for loyalty, security, peace, and comfort is what motivates us when the Moon is in Taurus. We look for sensuality and constancy. Our basic instincts are to resist change, slow down and relax. Seek comfort and a relaxed escape from the chaos that seems to be a constant in this holiday season.
With the Moon in sensual slow moving Taurus, you are able to experience life more fully through your senses. This is a day to be quiet and still. There is no need to push yourself in the service of accomplishment. You may want to indulge your senses with good food, lovemaking, music, and a massage.
Your senses are aroused by nature. If possible get outdoors, listen to the trees sing and pay attention to the messages the earth constantly provides.

Activities will likely revolve around home and family, loyalty is on display and helps to ground and stabilize you through this season. Keep your home a place of calm. Close the door on the anxiety the advertisers are pushing on you. Your family needs love not gifts.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* from 7:42 PM EST until she enters Gemini at 9:34 AM EST on Thursday morning. This simply suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.

Thursday, December 20, 2018:
Following a few quiet slow days now it is time to wake up! The Moon finds herself in busy, social Gemini as the Sun trine Uranus at 11:21 AM EST. Keep your eyes open for an unexpected surprise or a communication coming out of the blue that changes the landscape of the week. Consider what began in mid-April that is now ripe and offering its gifts. Those gifts may open a door to a surprising new reality.

With the Moon in Gemini, you will want intellectual stimulation. This is a great time for social activities, phone calls and catching up on emails. Most folks will be feeling more lighthearted than usual. If you happen to find yourself feeling low ask what you should be doing that you are avoiding. That will likely direct you to the thing that is keeping you down.
This is a great time to engage in storytelling and listening to the stories that others want to share. We learn so much through stories. Start a journal, write a story, exchange ideas & information. Follow your curiosity.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* until she enters Gemini at 9:34 AM EST. This simply suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.
Friday, December 21, 2018:
A highly active day with the Moon still in talkative curious Gemini. You will likely hear a great deal of chatter!
At 12:11 PM EST we encounter a trine aspect between Venus and Neptune which encourages us to soften our values and see the beauty in all things. Clarity may be lacking but feelings and expressions of love and beauty are deep and tender.
Right on the heels of that, at 12:36 PM EST Mercury joins with Jupiter both now in Sagittarius. We all have our opinions and not many of us will be shy about expressing them at this time. Engage humor as you watch folks tripping over themselves to express the opinions they are so sure are RIGHT. Laugh at your own big opinions as well.
At 5:22 PM EST we enter Capricorn Season as the Sun moves into this serious hard working sign. This brings us to the Winter Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere (Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere).
With the Sun in Capricorn, it is time to deeply consider your responsibilities and ambitions. Now is when you will start considering your upcoming New Year’s resolutions.
According to Bob Dylan “A hero is someone who understands the responsibility that comes with freedom.”
Saturday, December 22, 2018:
The Sun is now in Capricorn with the Cancer Full Moon occurring at 11:27 AM EST. This is the final Full Moon of 2018 and has a deeply sensitive vibe due to its making a challenging aspect to Chiron, the planet of our wounding. Your heart may feel extremely sensitive and tender. Remember that your vulnerability is connected to the vulnerability of all humans; show compassion to everyone you encounter. Please also remember that we are all under this influence.
Offer kindness and chocolate cake. Yes, comfort food helps. Whatever activity you initiated at the New Moon two weeks ago culminates and is illuminated here at the Full Moon.
When the Moon is in protective Cancer you seek security within the context of a biological or chosen family. Gather with loved ones, go out of your way to offer food, comfort, and kindness.
The Gemini Moon is VOC* from 9:20 AM EST until she enters cancer at 11:27 AM EST. This simply suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.

Sunday, December 23, 2018:
Sometimes I think I need a spare heart to feel all the things I feel.” ~ Sanober Khan
With the Moon in Cancer, you may find yourself reaching for comfort food and the safety of family and intimate loved ones. You will want to retreat to the place you feel most at home and may feel more nostalgic and domestic than usual.
Everyone you meet may be consumed with memories and thoughts of the past. This could be a very moody day so go ahead and stay in bed, indulge in chocolate or whatever soothes your soul.
This is a dynamic and mysterious universe and human life is, no doubt, conditioned by imponderables of which we are only dimly aware. People sometimes say, “the strangest coincidence happened.” Coincidences may seem strange, but they are never a result of caprice. They are orderly laws in the spiritual life of man. They affect and influence our lives profoundly. These so-called imponderables are so important that you should become spiritually sensitized to them. Indeed, the more spiritually minded you become the more acute your contact will be with these behind-the-scenes forces. By being alive to them through insight, instruction, and illumination, you can make your way past errors and mistakes on which, were you less spiritually sensitive, you might often stumble.”  ~ Norman Vincent Peale, Stay Alive All Your Life
* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.

The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, textiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
