Mars changes sign today, entering Sagittarius at 4:52 AM EST. Mars is the planet of the warrior, the leader, and the pioneer. Mars gives us the energy to take action and get things done. VARIETY AND DIVERSITY

RE-EVALUATE YOUR VALUES & INTEGRITY: VENUS RETROGRADE
The planets have been quite active while you were sleeping. By the time you wake the Moon has entered Cancer turning your attention to family and the need for nurturing and comfort. Plan to spend the day making gingerbread houses with your children or grandchildren, or at least cuddling them on the couch. Expressing and absorbing love will be an important component of the next few days.
At 5:36 AM EST, Venus the planet that represents love, relationships, beauty, and resources stations in Capricorn to retrace her steps. Having been our evening star, she goes underground in order to return as our morning star in mid to late January. Venus remains in retrograde motion until January 29th.
While Venus is retrograde we all must re-evaluate our deepest values and integrity. We will learn a great deal and deepen our wisdom as we do this investigation. Knowing the house that holds Capricorn in your chart will help you know how to personally approach this powerful work.
