You can anticipate this week being easier than last week. For one thing, you have likely become a bit accustomed to Mercury’s retrograde motion. That, along with the fact that Mercury has distanced itself a bit from Saturn, brings some much needed relief for everyone.
At the very least, the more challenging issues of your life can be kept at bay as you prepare for the holiday. Don’t let stress in… Relax, enjoy family and friends.

The ease of Monday’s balanced Libra Moon gives way to more activity and tension on Tuesday. The Moon makes difficult, challenging aspects to both destructive Pluto and inspirational Uranus, requiring you to re-engage with certain tensions from the past.
The adventurous Sagittarius Sun joins with talkative Mercury on Tuesday, placing the focus on your thoughts and communications. You are likely to have a great deal of interactions with others. These conversations and interactions are apt to be a mixed bag. Some may be highly engaging and exciting, even as others are quite difficult or challenging.
Don’t forget for a moment that Mercury is retrograde, make sure you hear what is actually being said rather than what you expect, fear, or desire.

Friday, December 15, 2017:
The Moon stays in Scorpio (and is VOC* all day) until entering Sagittarius at 8:08 PM EST. Nothing you do today will have a big impact on the future… keep that in mind.
At 9:08 AM EST, Mercury retrograde joins with Venus in adventurous Sagittarius, pulling your thoughts, communications, and thinking to issues of beauty, money, and love. The intensity of the Scorpio Moon stands aside to allow your thoughts to go to new adventures and explorations of the mind. This will not be a brand new perspective but a renewed look at past ideas.
You may find yourself thinking about a different direction for your artistic pursuits, how to create more abundance in your finances, or overhauling your love life. Don’t make any permanent decisions on any of these issues with Mercury retrograde. Explore your ideas and set them aside for now. You will have time to come back to these issues and make decisions in March of 2018 when Mercury and Venus come together once more.

You are ready to take on a new study, a new philosophy, or you simply want to experience freedom and individuation.
You will not respond well to anyone trying to control you at this time. You want to travel, explore new ideas and ways of living. Gather with others, get curious about the way people who are very unlike you, in beliefs and lifestyle, think. Ask questions, gain a new perspective.
 
 
OPEN YOUR MIND
Sunday, December 17, 2017:
Sunday is a simple continuation of the theme from Saturday. However, do keep in mind that before you wake on Monday morning, we reach the Sagittarius New Moon!
I will talk about that fully in Monday’s post. Be aware throughout the day that we are in the darkest phase of the Moon. This is a quiet time, even with the Sagittarian focus on exploration.
Allow your exploration to be internally focused. Seek out your own idealistic, philosophical wisdom. Spend time exploring and contemplating on the philosophical values and beliefs of people who are very different from yourself and the culture you grew up in. Open yourself to understanding what seemed foreign to your thinking in the past.
This is a day to break through barriers of tight, inflexible thinking. Open your mind and allow light to flood your awareness.
