There are a lot of cycles in action this week. There is no doubt we can expect a complex week!

 
We start the week with a New Moon in Virgo immediately pushing us to our potential. Plant the seed of discernment and detail.
 
I need to do a quick down and dirty post today! It’s been a busy week and family responsibilities took me away at the time I normally do my writing.
 
So… here is what I have for ya!


 

Monday, August 25, 2014:

 
The week begins with an extremely active day on Monday. It’s tricky to flesh out all the pieces that are involved! Your mind and heart could cover a wide range of thoughts and emotions on Monday.
Let’s first consider the New Moon at 2° of Virgo. The chapter on the month of lovely Leo is over! The New Moon in Virgo suggests the importance of planting a seed of work, efficiency, and productivity. You are preparing to reach your full, true potential. Plant the seed and care for it over the coming weeks.
Make a commitment to your productivity and your ability to be helpful and of service to others.
Late in the afternoon Mars joins with Saturn at 17° Scorpio. This begins a new cycle involving the ways we structure, restrict, or make judgments on our own assertiveness, aggressions, and/or sexuality. Consider that the previous cycle began in August 2012. Whatever began at that time ends now as we move forward to this new phase.
Rest assured that whatever begins now, the decisions you make at this time have long-range consequences. Any choices presented at this time are not trivia. Your decisions will determine the direction of action in your life over the next two years. Keep this in mind as you make choices with your eyes wide open.
Mercury brings a sweet sextile to both Mars and Saturn on Monday, enabling and encouraging you to speak openly as you move forward. Say what needs to be said; be available to hear what is said in return. If the actions you’re taking impact others please speak your mind. The results may be far less difficult then you would expect.
As if all of that is not enough for one day Venus trine Uranus. This aspect could bring any number of surprising results or communications regarding your love relationships or finances. It is important to get out and mingle with others this evening. Expect the unexpected and open yourself to the energies that are available.
 
 

Tuesday, August 26, 2014:

 
Tuesday looks to me like a very productive day. The moon is in Virgo keeping us focused on efficiency and organization. You are able to see where you want to go, and the view of this potential pulls you forward. The Virgo moon is engaged in happy communication with Pluto, Saturn, Mars, and Mercury! Work will get done!
Venus in Leo squares Saturn in Scorpio at 2:21PM EDT.
On Wednesday she will square Mars as well. Consider back to the beginning of the cycle with Venus conjunct Saturn in September 2013. Did you begin a new relationship with either love or money at that time? Whatever you were building, or whatever was important to you at that time, has shifted to where you need to reconsider your former position and release. You are now reaching for a new stabilization around your finances or love that will begin in earnest by mid November 2014.
At 10:29 PM EDT the Virgo Moon goes VOC* until late Wednesday afternoon.
 
 

Wednesday, August 27, 2014:

 
Wednesday offers a day of rest… if you can take it. This day would be best used for thoughtful consideration and time alone in analytical contemplation.
The Virgo moon is VOC* until she enters Libra at 5:54 PM EDT.
Venus squares Mars at 11:45AM EDT. This is a day to consider the ways that you express kindness to others from a truly selfless heart. Mars (the principle of war) energizes Venus (the principle of love) and Venus softens Mars; Mars brings sexuality to Venus; Venus brings love to sexuality. There is deep tension between these two planets as they form a square aspect. It is palatable. Spend time engaged in actively expressing love!
When the Moon enters Libra at 5:54 PM EDT this increases our attention to relationship, diplomacy, and the necessity to balance and soften all factors of our lives. Spend the evening with loved ones in the spirit of peace.
 
 

Thursday, August 28, 2014:

 
When you wake up Thursday morning the most prevalent energy is a sextile aspect between the Libra Moon and Jupiter in Leo. This early part of the day will be the best part of the day! Take advantage of this energy if you have communications or negotiations with others that could be accomplished in the morning. By mid to late afternoon, as the Moon squares Pluto, interactions with others will not feel so workable. Be aware of the tendency for power struggles in all types of relationships.
Shortly after midnight the Moon will also interact with Uranus. Rest in the knowledge that you are on your own path to transforming your life.
Please do not engage in unhealthy power struggles with others. Power issues do indeed exist in our significant relationships and we have likely spent most of our lives learning unhealthy ways of managing these struggles. Today, consider and seek ways to work with these energies consciously, with full awareness of yourself and the ‘other’; your environment, your existence, sensations, and thoughts. Be aware of it all! Allow creativity to find the way to a healthy expression of power; give and take. Play with these dynamics with full respect of the intensity involved.
 

Friday, August 29, 2014:

 
Get your journals or calendars out again, we are going to look at the cycle between The Sun and Neptune. On February 23^, 2014 these two planetary bodies came together in Pisces. What dream, fantasy, or flight of imagination began at that time? Do you remember? Today as you look back, it should be clear exactly what you have made of that dream. With the Opposition between the Sun and Neptune the full creative expression of that energy is now released. You now know if you made the best choices then. Do you feel a deep satisfaction and release of creativity? Do you feel a deep suffering as you now see the mistake made at that time. Either way, look clearly now so you will be ready to begin a new cycle of dreams in February 2015! As you watch these cycles and understand how they work together your ability to make better choices increases.
 
 

Saturday August 30, 2014:

 
At 4:52AM EDT on Saturday the Moon enters Scorpio. This may be a deeply emotional day, but one that is highly workable. This is a day when love, affection, and friendships can go deep while maintaining stability.
You will not be satisfied interacting on a superficial level. It is important to deeply explore your emotional connections with others. This is not a Saturday night you will want a lot of socializing. You may feel your best while connecting deeply with an intimate partner. Soft, deep, intense connections are available.
 
 

Sunday, August 31, 2014:

 
Sunday starts out much like Saturday. You may feel deeply and emotionally connected and comfortable in your own skin and in your own reality. Enjoy it while it lasts.
By afternoon the atmosphere of the day becomes heavier, more restrictive, with possible overtones of anger and aggression.
The best Time this weekend for socializing is Sunday morning. Go out for brunch with a few close friends.
By afternoon the Scorpio Moon conjunct Saturn insist that you carefully investigate some of the decisions you are making.
On Monday we talked about the decisions that are being made and their importance; this evening our emotional nature catches up to the understanding of what we may be getting ourselves into. Don’t consider running away. Hold steady, look deeply, face reality, and move forward. Is always best to directly face those places of fear in our hearts.
