It is such a delight to see the crocuses and daffodils poking out of the ground, the birds singing, the days continuing to get longer, and the Sun getting warmer each day.
I took Friday off this week and Dave and I had a playful adventure day. The sky was so blue and the wind so brisk we decided it was a day for kites! Out we went in search of a place to fly them. First, we tried a beach but one salty soggy kite later we went inland for an empty field.
I didn’t get good pictures as it is not easy to take pictures and keep a kite afloat at the same time.
There will be many more days for kite flying in the weeks and months ahead. I hope to get some pictures to commemorate the activity.
