Astrology Forecast: February 4, 2019, through February 10, 2019

The cosmos is a vast living body, of which we are still parts.  The sun is a great heart whose tremors run through our smallest veins.  The moon is a great nerve center from which we quiver forever.  Who knows the power that Saturn has over us, or Venus?  But it is a vital power, rippling exquisitely through us all the time.” ~ D.H. Lawrence

Monday, February 4, 2019:
The Aquarius New Moon occurs at 4:04 PM EST just as she forms a lovely sextile aspect to expansive happy Jupiter. This is great news for whatever innovative or humanitarian project you begin over the coming days.
If you have something important that you have considered growing and developing in the area of life indicated by the house that holds Aquarius in your chart, now is the time to begin!
If you are interested in tracking the cycles and understanding what area of your life is being impacted by the cycles of the planets, check out Astrolore’s Patreon page.
If this New Moon is transiting your 1st house it will be good to begin a new way of presenting yourself, if it is happening in your 6th, begin a new health or exercise routine, in the 9th, begin your formal study of astrology with Astrolore!
Wait and do your New Moon ritual on Tuesday or Wednesday. It is good to give a bit of time for the Moon to separate from the ‘beams of the Sun’.
Take a moment to write down the changes you wish to begin, create, or increase for this Cycle. The Aquarius New Moon suggests that you plant a progressive, innovative seed of humanitarian impact or rebellion.
Have two candles available. Light a candle to represent yourself, as you are in this moment. Light another candle as inspiration for what you intend to create. Take a moment to focus on yourself as you light the first candle. Then, light the second candle, imagining drawing your intention toward yourself as you physically bring the two candles closer together.
Do this each day for two weeks until at the Full Moon you bring the candles fully together and acknowledge the result of what you have created and its ongoing growth.

Tuesday, February 5, 2019:

The Moon remains in unconventional objective Aquarius throughout the day. Expect positive social interactions as no one is trying to get an upper hand. This is a great day to pay attention to folks you may not easily understand. The differences in how they view the world won’t annoy or confuse you but will more likely pique your curiosity.
Aquarius suggests the need to march to the beat of a different drummer. Allow yourself to not only engage with others who are different from you but to express the parts of yourself that are most unique. Others will have more understanding of your quirks, and if they don’t, you won’t really care.
Allow the more rebellious and innovative parts of yourself to emerge. Break out of your routines and release long-held habits that hold you back.
This is a day well suited for unusual, innovative thinking and gathering with others of like mind. With the Moon in Aquarius, you will do well to seek insights and genius ideas in the company of others.
Your emotions won’t get in the way as you are able to set them aside and view your life from a more detached viewpoint. You are more interested in the big picture and less interested in personal details of life.
The Aquarius Moon is void-of-course from 6:59 PM EST until she enters Pisces at 9:01 PM EST. This condition merely suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.

Wednesday, January 6, 2019:

The cosmic movement and planetary impacts are relatively quiet as the Moon passes through Pisces forming only a lovely sextile aspect to Venus in the early morning hours. This is not a day to seek a great deal of activity or accomplishment.
Pisces is a Mutable Water sign offering passive, adaptable, and highly sensitive energies. This is a great time for meditation, spending time on the water, allowing yourself to be engrossed in imagination, watching movies, or making music. Enjoy any rest and sweetness you can find.
This can be a challenging time if you have things of a serious nature that must be accomplished. Do the best you can even as you find time to dream, meditate, or space out. If you are a poet, a musician, or an artist you will enjoy the fluid sense of the day.
In all your interactions with others, be aware they would also rather be resting in inspiration and dreams. Offer sweetness and sensitivity to all.

Thursday, February 7, 2019:
With the Moon still in Pisces, you will feel softer, more adaptable, sensitive, and vulnerable than usual. Remember this as you interact with others. They may put on a brave face but underneath they are deeply aware of their human sufferings and susceptibilities.
However, this is a day to release several things that you have been holding onto. First, as the Sun sextile Jupiter notice that a belief that you held strong even as recently as a year ago has shifted significantly. Perhaps you were unaware of the process as it occurred and now realize how easy it is to let go of that belief. It has lost its hold on you. That is worthy of celebration.
With Mercury in objective Aquarius sextile Mars in Aries, there is another thing you are able and ready to release at this time. Consider some area of your life that you have carried a great deal of anger or frustration around. Let it go. To look with true objectivity, you no longer need to hold onto that anger. Another worthy celebration.
With the Moon in Pisces, your celebration may be to write a poem, watch a movie, or drink just one extra glass of champagne. Don’t overdo it.
The Pisces Moon is void-of-course from 5:14 PM EST until she enters Aries on Friday morning at 9:35 AM EST. This condition merely suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.

Friday, February 8, 2019:
You will feel a powerful shift from the sleepy dreaminess of the Pisces Moon to the need to take direct action when the Moon enters Aries at 9:35 AM EST.
Over the next few days, you may feel a strong need to start something new and to do so quickly. Whatever you want you want NOW. We all tend to take action more quickly when the Moon is in Aries. Watch that tendency and pay attention because fast action can easily lead to mistakes and accidents.
Your leadership, warrior, and pioneering impulses will be strong and your staying power lacking. You are likely to exhibit more courage than usual and also more arrogance and hot-headedness. Use this energy on your own in a physical manner. Go running, biking, skiing, or swimming. Whatever you do with this excess energy is best done on your own as it won’t come naturally to cooperate with others.
With the Moon in Aries, go ahead and take on a challenge, be competitive, take a risk, prove something to yourself. This is not a time for empathy or romance, better to go for a direct passionate exchange. Whatever requires direct action can be accomplished now, little will hold you back if you set Aries energy against it.

The Pisces Moon is void-of-course until she enters Aries at 8:35 AM EST. This condition merely suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.

Saturday, February 9, 2019:
The Moon continues through hotheaded courageous Aries leaving you feeling a bit worked up. Patience won’t come easily but new ideas and excitement will. At 5:53 PM EST Mercury forms a delightful sextile aspect to Uranus. This is a powerful stimulus to your thinking and will add a great deal of excitement to your conversations and interactions with others. This is a great time for new ideas, unusual communications, and creative mental activities that require innovative and original thinking. Your mind is open to unexpected flashes of insight and epiphanies. You will be more able than usual to understand complex scientific concepts including astrological theories. Your mind is curious and a bit wild. Pay attention to the most unique ideas that occur to you. Keep a pen and paper at hand to jot down your unanticipated thoughts.

Sunday, February 10, 2019:
You may notice your mind feeling a bit foggy and unclear as you start the day. Mercury the planet of thinking and communication entered elusive spacey Pisces at 5:50 AM EST. Mercury generally spends only about 3 weeks in each sign but due to a Mercury retrograde that begins on March 5th, it will remain in this fanciful surreal sign until she enters Aries in mid-April. Mercury in Pisces may not support analytical thinking but is great for free flights of intellectual fancy, writing music, poetry, or any creative activities that require imagination, inspiration, and sensitivity. This is a great time to allow yourself to listen to the still small voice within. Intuition is highly supported.

The Aries Moon is void-of-course from 6:47 PM EST until she enters Taurus at 8:29 PM EST. This condition merely suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.

“We use astrology most constructively and creatively when we gain from it a sense of what is possible for us at the highest levels of our potentialities. Seeing that, the challenges is then to keep our eyes open to life itself, to be able to respond appropriately when some event or change of circumstances.” ~ Dane Rudhyar “Astrological Aspects – a Process Oriented Approach” 1980

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.

The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
