Astrolore’s Weekly Astrology Weather: November 25, 2019, through December 1, 2019
The powerful year of 2020 is barreling down upon us.
We are drawing closer to the profound shift that is coming in the early days of 2020. If you follow astrology, you know that Saturn and Pluto have spent 2019 drawing ever closer together. The pressure between them has expanded and receded throughout the year as they have mocked, nudged, and tested each other. This process has pushed us to open our eyes, face reality, and do something about an issue we may wish we could avoid. In your personal life, this relates to matters of the house that holds Capricorn in your chart.
On January 12, 2020, Saturn and Pluto make full contact in Capricorn. Like it or not, a new story is about to begin. The collision is inevitable; the conclusion of a situation is at hand. As time moves forward from then, you will see the unfolding of a New Story.
Seed the beginning of the New Story in your Capricorn house. This new chapter can begin only when the old story ends.
Now is the time to take a stand and make whatever sacrifices are necessary to change not only your personal life but the human story as well. Let’s work together to create change for the better.
What house contains Capricorn in your chart? What is the New Story you are ready to work hard to create?

TIGHTEN PERSONAL BOUNDARIES
Monday, November 25, 2019
The week begins with the Moon in the powerful and intense sign of Scorpio. The lovely aspects she makes suggests that your emotions, regardless of how deep, are generally easy to access and understand.
Venus, having been in Sagittarius since November 1, enters Capricorn at 7:28 PM EST. Capricorn, ruled by authoritative Saturn, is not a place that Venus is happy in. There is, however, a positive side to this placement. Venus in Capricorn insists that you put serious focus and mature attention on your close relationships, love, and finances.
While Venus is in Capricorn, consider the boundaries you have set between yourself and others. Is it necessary to tighten those boundaries? Put a clear stake in the ground about what you are unwilling to tolerate in your relationships, your deal-breakers. Take a firm stand on your deepest values. Get clear on the line of your integrity when it comes to love and finances. If you are unclear about the integrity of how you make or spend money, or how you give or receive love, it is time to hold yourself to a higher standard. Venus in Capricorn offers to teach you the importance of integrity in love, money, beauty, and personal values.

SAGITTARIUS NEW MOON – PLANT A SEED OF UNDERSTANDING
Tuesday, November 26, 2019
While you slept last night, the Moon left the intensity of Scorpio behind and entered Sagittarius, where the New Moon occurs at 10:05 AM EST. The Moon is more optimistic in Sagittarius than in the other signs. We are inclined to pursue the truth from new directions and perspectives, with trust that we will find it. We are not interested in details but want an overview, the view from on high. When the Moon is in Sagittarius, we tend to think about travel, culture, and learning.
SAGITTARIUS NEW MOON RITUAL
Take a moment to write down the changes you wish to begin, create, or increase in this Moon Cycle. The Sagittarius New Moon suggests that you plant a seed of exploration and the expansion of understanding. Depending on your circumstances, you may prefer to plant a seed of hope for travel, new education, or cultural understanding. You get the idea. Plant a seed in this realm that resonates with your heart.
Have two candles available. Light the first to represent yourself, as you are right now. Light the second candle as inspiration for the change you want to create during this cycle. Take a moment to focus as you light each candle. Imagine drawing the change you desire toward you as you physically bring the two candles closer together.
Do this each day for two weeks. At the Full Moon, you will bring the candles fully together while acknowledging what you are creating.
Please remember that the energy you infuse this cycle with will continue over the next six months until the Sagittarius Full Moon in early June 2020.

SUFFERING, COMPASSION, AND THE RENEWAL OF A DREAM
Wednesday, November 27, 2019
While the Moon continues through expansive, optimistic Sagittarius, you can see the best in your circumstances. From an ample, wide-ranging vantage point, think back to June 21, 2019, when Neptune turned retrograde at 18 degrees Pisces. Today Neptune turns direct at 15 degrees Pisces. In five months, she has moved only three degrees, giving you an idea of how slowly nebulous, dreamy Neptune moves. What does she want to teach you? What is her message as she slowly transits her Pisces rulership?
Neptune sometimes brings suffering as a way of dissolving the barriers between ourselves and others. Eventually, we understand that we do not own our pain, that it is a human condition that we share with every other sentient being.
Neptune pushes us to understand that suffering helps us develop compassion for others who also suffer. Look to the house that holds Pisces in your chart. Think about how you are learning compassion in this area of your life.
Neptune’s renewed forward movement suggests that it is time to release suffering, embrace compassion, and re-engage with a dream that has been bubbling underground since June.
KINDNESS AND RESPECT
Thursday, November 28, 2019
Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating today. Today is a great day for such a holiday.
In the early hours of the morning, Mercury forms a lovely trine aspect to Neptune, allowing you to articulate deep issues of imagination and compassion. Speak about your dreams and allow them to grow. This aspect provides support for those who are sharing time and a meal with family for Thanksgiving.
At 7:32 AM EST, the Moon enters Capricorn, bringing a somber tone to the day. It is essential to consider issues of emotional integrity. Actively respect those at your holiday meal who have different views on the concerns of the day.
At 1:27 PM EST, a lovely trine aspect from Venus to Uranus forms. Expect to learn something surprising about someone at your holiday celebration. A family member may share your values and beliefs in a way that you didn’t expect or realize.
Today is a nice day for a holiday gathering. Given the astrological makeup of the day, I suspect folks will avoid celebrating with those who they disagree with most adamantly. If you are celebrating with those on the other side of the divide, you may get along and see each other’s perspectives more than you would have expected. Listen to others. Offer kindness and respect to everyone at the table, even if you disagree with their values and politics.

A SOBER DAY FOR MAKING PLANS
Friday, November 29, 2019
Today’s Capricorn Moon motivates us to engage in practical undertakings of long term significance.
Please don’t take part in the cultural expectation of shopping today. If you do so, you will find yourself among other cranky shoppers.
The Capricorn Moon is a sober influence and is best utilized by managing business or career objectives. Focus on practical long term goals that will build confidence in your abilities and direction forward. You are less interested in immediate fulfillment and more interested in building a foundation for future growth.
If you begin the day still in the company of family following the holiday, use the opportunity to have serious planning conversations. Have you discussed the growing needs of elderly relatives? Do you know the retirement plans of your parents or siblings? Make sure the visit ends, or you all go to your separate corners by late afternoon.
At 4:17 PM EST, the Moon opposes Saturn, followed by an opposition to Pluto at 10:57 PM EST. The tension could bring arguments and power struggles. Spend the evening alone working on your plans for the coming year.

PERSONAL SPACE AND FREEDOM
Saturday, November 30, 2019
If your family holiday responsibilities are complete, it is time to begin a new phase of this long weekend.
Mercury sextiles Saturn this morning, suggesting an opportunity for clear, articulate communication. Spend the morning working on a writing project, planning a public talk, or sending out emails that you’ve been procrastinating on.
At 3:14 PM EST, the Moon enters Aquarius, lightening the serious mood that has been with us for the past few days.
When the Moon is in Aquarius, you are less emotional and more objective. You can step out of the fray of personal involvement and respond from a more intellectual, rather than emotional, perspective. Seek out social gatherings that focus on the betterment of humanity, social goals for the future, new ideas, and progressive growth. You may need more personal space and freedom than usual and will rebel if anyone makes undue demands on your time or attention.
Find and meet with a social group of like-minded folks this evening. Make plans to progress your values, ideas, and ideals.

SPREAD YOUR WINGS
Sunday, December 1, 2019
The most notable thing about today actually happens tomorrow. Today is the last day of Jupiter’s time in Sagittarius, where it has been since November 2018.
Jupiter spends one full year in each sign, teaching us to develop our beliefs, understanding, and awareness. While Jupiter has been in Sagittarius, we have expanded our spiritual and cultural awareness and strengthened our faith in the universe.
In the coming days, you will notice a shift in focus, along with an increase in attention to more practical issues.
Jupiter in Capricorn will expand your awareness of practical goals and the integrity needed to reach those goals.
With the Moon in Aquarius, spend time with like-minded folks in your community. Don’t get pulled into personal issues. Stay objective, interact socially, make friends, and allow your more rebellious side to emerge. If you’ve felt stuck over the past few days, break out, spread your wings, and seek your freedom.
* In these weekly reports, I explore the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and give rise to fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
