The week begins with the Moon in idealistic philosophical Sagittarius. You may be surprised at how easy it is to get up and begin the day.
Following her Full Illumination at the Equinox last week, the Moon is now waning and forms a trine aspect to the Sun at 10:31 AM EDT. This suggests an exuberant outpouring of the energies that were first fully understood at the Equinox. You are now encouraged to open yourself to explorations and experiences that may change the very fabric of your belief system. It is important not to get stuck with particular beliefs simply because you have never questioned them. Open your mind and engage with the views of others. Listen and ask questions with an honest and deep desire to understand.

Depending on the time zone you live in the Capricorn Last Quarter Moon was exact last night or in the wee hours of this morning. Remember that the Last Quarter Moon is a time when you must shift your attention. This is a time of reorientation and/or release. It is important to pay attention to the full scope of your goals for this cycle. What is working and what is not working regarding those goals? Take corrective action or push for release and completion.
The great news of the day is that at 9:59 AM EDT Mercury stations direct at 16 degrees Pisces. Mercury will remain in Pisces until April 17th, so don’t expect clarity of thought and communications right away. Remember that Mercury represents the intellect and while is Pisces our thinking can be rather vague and emotional. Use this time to deepen your connection to poetry, compassion, empathy, and sensitivity. Don’t even try to pin those dreamy thoughts down yet. It is just too soon.

Breakthrough innovations happen when we open our eyes, minds, and hearts to perspectives outside of our comfort zone. When the Moon is in Aquarius it comes more easily.
Seek out people of a different race, sexuality, gender identification, age group, nationality, and even political affiliation. Listen. Really listen and you may be surprised at what you learn. We are all human and we all have valid reasons for our opinions. We must learn to understand each other and offer love to all sorts of people.
