Monday, March 18, 2019:

The week begins on a cheerful note with the Moon in creative, playful Leo. At 11:18 AM she forms a lovely trine aspect to idealistic Jupiter increasing the good feelings of the day.

This is a day to allow others to see the full expression of your unique personality. Get creative as you prepare for the day. Leave your ordinary drab clothing in the closet, show your self-confidence with bright colors and dramatic accessories.

Allow your most sparkly side to shine through. You may be surprised to see that others respond with increased self-expression of their own. Express love boldly to all who you encounter. Allow warmth, generosity, and open-hearted acceptance to emanate from your soul. Show Love.

The Leo Moon is void-of-course from 11:18 AM EDT until she enters Virgo at 9:42 PM EDT. This condition merely suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.

Tuesday, March 19, 2019:

It is interesting to encounter a day with so little astrological activity. The Moon rises very brightly in the night sky as she reaches out for her Full Phase which occurs just on the heels of the Spring Equinox (in the Northern Hemisphere) tomorrow night.

With the Moon in meticulous Virgo, this is a great time to work on projects that require detailed work and dedicated, orderly, efficiency. Work on completing practical chores. You may notice yourself carefully observing others and trying to fix what does not meet your high standards. Even though you feel very dedicated to improvement, remember that it is not your job to correct others. Look inward and find ways to be of service for the greater good.

Stay focused on practical activities. You may have a hard time allowing ‘good-enough’ to be good enough. Don’t allow perfectionism to stop progress. Work on projects and issues that will benefit from organization and analysis, paying particular attention to details.

Wednesday, March 20, 2019:

What a powerhouse of a day! The morning begins with assertive Mars forming a positive trine aspect to potent Pluto. Whatever you take direct action on has amazing strength and determination behind it. Don’t underestimate the implications of where you direct your energies.

At 5:58 PM EDT the Sun enters Aries beginning the astrological New Year and the Sun’s new journey through the zodiac. On this day we experience equal time in darkness and equal time in the light. The Spring Equinox is a deeply significant time of opening the door to new potential, a time of resurrection and rebirth. Several hours after the Sun has entered Aries the Moon enters Libra and brings us directly into the culmination that is the Libra Full Moon.

Given that this Full Moon occurs on an extremely important power point (zero degrees of any cardinal sign is called the Aries Point), pay careful attention to anything that comes to light or you fully/clearly see at this time. This is a powerful combination suggesting the enormity of the change we are creating in our lives. Find the houses that hold Aries & Libra in your chart; consider what you are creating and what you are seeing with fully open eyes in the polarity between these houses. This brings each of us to a powerful turning point. Allow yourself to see and understand the shift in the balance of your life.

At this time hold your soul open for the experience of Wonder, and remember that Anything is Possible.

The Virgo Moon is void-of-course from 11:22 AM EDT until she enters Libra at 9:28 PM EDT. This condition merely suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.

Thursday, March 21, 2019:

This is a day brought to you by Venus as she has several significant conversations with her cohorts early in the day. Venus speaks to us of our values, beauty, cooperation, love, and even money and personal resources. What do you Value? This is a time to consider those deeply held beliefs and how those values sometimes stand in the way of your desire for action. The morning may begin with such a challenge.

Don’t get stuck in any difficulty as this dilemma is followed with a gentle opportunity to clarify your beliefs and expand the scope of your deeply held values. Oftentimes our values and beliefs go unexamined; take the opportunity now to consider deeply, what do you Value?

With the Moon in diplomatic Libra look at these issues with dispassionate objectivity. Put cooperation and an attitude of refinement ahead of other considerations. Face your life with grace and decorum, offer the gifts of Libra; the desire to please, engage in social niceties and create beauty. Find ways to offer kindness and bring beauty into the world.

Friday, March 22, 2019:

The Libra Moon makes challenging aspects to Saturn and Pluto in the early part of the day. You may struggle to see how you could possibly create the beauty and love in the world that you desire. Don’t let yourself fall into discouragement and regret. As the day moves along you will be more able to tap into the charming pleasantries of the Libra Moon. Release the challenge and seek pleasant social gatherings, take a friend to lunch, or head to a museum.

The Libra Moon offers an evening that supports romantic or diplomatic endeavors, socializing, or creating art. As you interact with others, it is good to remember that while the Moon moves through Libra we all desire companionship, love, and beauty. Please be kind to anyone you encounter. Spread goodness.

At 10:16 PM EDT the Moon enters Scorpio bringing you to a deeper emotional level. Take a risk with a partner or friend, tell a secret. Open the door to a cupboard that needs cleaning and airing out. Show trustworthiness and deep understanding to another. Bring yourself into profoundly deep connections, explore power dynamics safely and with open-hearted love.

The Libra Moon is void-of-course from 2:11 PM EDT until she enters Scorpio at 10:16 PM EDT. This condition merely suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.

“Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.” ~ Og Mandino

Saturday, March 23, 2019:

This is an astrologically quiet day best spent in deep connection with a significant partner or highly trusted friend. With the Moon passing through Scorpio, consider how much your life has been transformed by the examination of the deeper (even the darker) side of life and love. In order to grow, you must allow parts of yourself to transform through clear seeing, destruction, and regeneration. Open your heart to passion, determination, and powerful transformative change.

In many circles, Scorpio has a bad reputation as it is a sign that has a profound need to go deep and explore the inner dark corners of the psyche. Don’t shy away, be willing to look beneath every stone and allow vulnerability. Within our vulnerability is our strength.

While the Moon is going through Scorpio, you are aware of the things that polite society would rather you kept hidden under a rug. Scorpio suggests the importance of bringing what is hidden into the light, to be excavated, and brought forth for healing.

Sunday, March 24, 2019:

We come to another day with the Moon in the Fixed Water sign of Scorpio. Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) are stable, have a concentration of focus, and can be quite stubborn. Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) are deeply sensitive and powerfully emotional. Scorpio brings profound depth and concentrates its targeted attention on the hidden emotions that many folks prefer to avoid. When the Moon is in Scorpio, we are able to feel more deeply and are able to observe our hidden emotional motivations with great clarity. This is a day to keep yourself in the company of folks you love, respect, and trust.

At 1:27 PM EDT Mercury (still retrograde) joins with Neptune suggesting an element of intellectual idealism or confusion. Use your mind, communications, and thinking in soft ways, engage in imaginative pursuits, write poetry or music. This would be a great day for contemplating your spiritual roots and how your thinking toward those core beliefs has changed over time. Open to a more mystical and compassionate view toward others.

The Scorpio Moon is void-of-course from 10:24 PM EDT until she enters Sagittarius in the wee hours of Monday morning (2:07 AM EDT). This condition merely suggests that whatever is begun or occurs during this time will not have a significant future impact.

“We use astrology most constructively and creatively when we gain from it a sense of what is possible for us at the highest levels of our potentialities. Seeing that, the challenges is then to keep our eyes open to life itself, to be able to respond appropriately when some event or change of circumstances.” ~ Dane Rudhyar “Astrological Aspects – a Process Oriented Approach” 1980

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.

The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
