Astrolore’s Weekly Astrology Weather: March 4, 2019, through March 10, 2019

EXPANDING VIEW
Monday, March 4, 2019:
The week starts slowly as the Moon continues her path through innovative forward thinking Aquarius. She is rapidly approaching the New Moon.
We consider ourselves in the ‘dark-of-the moon’ for a few days before each New Moon, suggesting more interest in quiet contemplation than we would normally expect with the Moon in Aquarius.
Going inward, contemplate where you are still ruled by social conventions, consider the areas of your life that you have not questioned. Allow yourself to open to the possibility that your view is incomplete.
At 11:31 AM EST the Moon forms an amiable sextile aspect to Jupiter allowing your beliefs to expand and enabling you to engage others in captivating conversations and connections. See the good in those around you, show the best of yourself to others.
MERCURY RETROGRADE; RE-IMAGINE & RE-INSPIRE
Tuesday, March 5, 2019:
Just as Mercury is about to enter Aries, it stops and turns back to retrace its path. Mercury will remain retrograde until March 28. Find the house that holds Pisces in your chart to better understand the area of your life that requires this revisiting of your thoughts and attention. Something here needs to be reimagined, adjusted, or considered from a different perspective. Mercury retrograde pushes us to look and consider more deeply those things we have breezed over without proper attention. Mercury will be in contact with dreamy illusory Neptune through most of March. Allow your imagination to help you understand the perspective that is needed. This is a time to reengage your imagination, inspiration, and sensitivity.
The Moon in Pisces will help you go with the flow and understand the spaciousness that will be required over the coming weeks. As much as possible, rest, retreat, find inspiration and offer inspiration to others.

THE TIME IS NOW
Wednesday, March 6, 2019:
Between Uranus entering Taurus and the Pisces New Moon, this is a powerhouse of a day.
Uranus’ movement into Taurus is probably the most anticipated astrological event of the entire year. Uranus spent time in Taurus between mid-May and early November 2018 before returning to Aries due to its retrograde movement. Uranus will remain in Taurus until 2025. Uranus moves very slowly and as it enters a new sign you know there are big changes coming in the area of the chart that holds Taurus. Uranus is the planet of freedom, liberation, and undeniable change. Where you will experience this change depends on where Taurus is in your chart.
- If you have Aries rising the change will come in the area of finances or self-worth
- If you have Taurus rising the change will come in how you express your personality.
- If you have Gemini rising the change will affect your deeply hidden subconscious
- If you have Cancer rising the change will involve the community that supports your desires
- If you have Leo rising the shift will involve your career or reputation
- If you have Virgo rising the change will involve travel, education, or your world view.
- If you have Libra rising the change will involve something deeply powerful that you share with others; other people’s money, beliefs, or values
- If you have Scorpio rising the change will profoundly impact your intimate partnerships.
- If you have Sagittarius rising the shift will revolve around your health or work routines.
- If you have Capricorn rising you will experience a significant change around creativity, children, or love affairs.
- If you have Aquarius rising the change will involve your home or family.
- If you have Pisces rising you will experience a powerful change in how you communicate, there may also be changes regarding your siblings.
Now, let’s think about the New Moon. Remember that New Moons always bring a new beginning. This New Moon is exact at 11:04 AM EST, in Pisces; think of bringing a new sensitivity and understanding into your awareness. Think also of how the understanding of human suffering brings us to deep levels of compassion.
~~Pisces New Moon Ritual ~~
Take a moment to write down the changes you wish to begin, create, or increase during this Moon Cycle. The Pisces New Moon suggests that you plant a seed of emotional sensitivity, imagination, and mystical awakening,
Have two candles available. Light a candle to represent yourself, as you are at the moment. Light another candle as inspiration for what you intend to create. Take a moment to focus on yourself as you light the first candle. Then, light the second candle as you imagine drawing toward yourself what you want to create as you physically bring the two candles closer together.
Do this each day for two weeks until the Full Moon (March 20) when you will bring the candles fully together and acknowledge your personal growth in this area.
MAKE KINDNESS A PRIORITY
Thursday, March 7, 2019:
The day begins with the Moon still in passive dreamy Pisces. Give yourself permission to begin the day slowly. Don’t expect too much from yourself or others unless you are working on a project that requires free-floating imagination and compassionate connections.
At 3:28 PM EST the Moon enters Aries, at that time it may feel as though you have woken from a nap. It is time to push forward to reach a destination or a goal that has evaded you over the past few days. You may have been easily taking ‘no’ for an answer or not even asking the questions that you want answers to. Now you are ready to find the chinks in the armor and push hard to gain an advantage. With the Moon in Aries, it is good to remind yourself that the needs of others are just as valid as your own. Selfishness can sneak in if you don’t keep your awareness sharp, make kindness a priority.

DRIVE AND PASSION
Friday, March 8, 2019:
I expect you are not only ready but rather impatient, for the arrival of the weekend. Go ahead and make impulsive plans to do something that takes courage, powerful drive, and independence. You are not looking for time with others but time on your own.
Aries offers great courage and bravery but does not have a high level of caution. If you engage in activities such as skydiving, rock climbing, or other courageous physical endeavors, please consciously keep your safety top of mind.
When the Moon is in Aries, you may be called to take a challenge, be competitive, take a risk, or prove something to yourself. This is a time that calls for passion.
“Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.” ~ Og Mandino
SEEKING MATURITY
Saturday, March 9, 2019:
On January 2nd, the Sun joined with Saturn beginning an annual cycle of serious stabilization. Now (Sun sextile Saturn) it is time to explore different ways of developing that stabilization and bring greater maturity and steadfast ambition to your life. No action needs to be taken now but do explore various ideas of how you will bring forth this new level of maturity. Action will need to be taken on this issue during the second week of April, for now, contemplation may bring ideas that will grow into action then.
The Moon continues its path through assertive, determined Aries. Find a powerful way to use your physical energies. If you don’t use those energies you can easily find yourself embroiled in anxiety or aggression. Go for a run, a hike, wash the car, go dancing!
This is not a great evening for romance but excellent for passion.

A HAZE OF ROMANCE
Sunday, March 10, 2019:
The romance that was not on the menu earlier this weekend is available now. By the time you begin the day, the Moon has entered sensuous, earthy Taurus, bringing attention to all of your senses. As you touch flesh or create tangible beauty you may be overwhelmed by deep reverence and appreciation.
At 12:19 PM EDT Mars forms an alluring sextile aspect to Neptune casting a haze of romance over all that you touch. You are able to attract others, captivate and enchant them or you may be on the receiving end of this powerful attraction. You are sensitive to the desires of others and are able to sooth and magnetize those you encounter. This is a great time to dance and make love. Creativity and passion can be moved through the body with great strength and charisma.
Understand that western astrology is based on the tropical zodiac system. The tropical zodiac is a metaphorical, season-based system that aligns the vernal equinox with the first degree of Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. At the Spring Equinox the Sun enters the sign of Aries.

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
