The week starts with the moon in Sagittarius and ends just as the moon enters Aries. We will each experience the emotional weather through the lens of Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
As the Moon moves through these last few signs of the zodiac we experience more connection and concern for the larger family of humanity, then our individual lives and personal issues.
We begin the week in the Dark of the Moon, reaching the New Moon on Thursday (10° Aquarius).  On Friday Venus turns to direct motion enabling us to move ahead in the development of relationship and financial concerns. *sigh of relief!

Monday, January 27, 2014:

I think we all have a bit of the Philosopher in us on s day like today! The Moon is in Sagittarius encouraging us to look to the future, to consider how far we are able to move forward given our view of reality. The future beckons. We encounter future vistas as we look ahead.
The Sagittarius Moon makes lovely aspects of potential, creativity, and opportunity. We sense the need to encourage our bodies/minds to move forward in positive ways that have not been previously explored.
One word of caution: a day like this is likely to increase your attachment to your opinions/beliefs. You may simply believe that your opinions are the only ones worthy of notice. Today, take time to listen, with open hearted curiosity, to the opinions of others. Understand that each of us has a very different perspective on this life we are living. Honor the opinions of others. You do not have to agree with others to honor the fact that they see the world in a way that you do not! Explore and enjoy the differences between you!

Tuesday, January 28, 2014:

Shortly after midnight (on Monday) the Moon enters the serious, ambitious sign of Capricorn. We awake with a reluctance to let go of our dreams and the warmth and softness of our bed! This day may be a bit of a roller coaster! By afternoon you may encounter serious frustration or agitation as things are not moving forward quite the way we expect or want them to. The Capricorn Moon is tangling up, once again, with both Uranus and Pluto. This brings a great deal of stress and aggravation. Keep in mind that the best way to deal with any situation involving the Uranus Pluto Square is simply to observe it and ride it like a wave. Please don’t try to force your agenda, it is bound to backfire. By the time you head to bed tonight things will feel much smoother and more workable. You can look forward to a more productive day tomorrow. Keep in mind we are in the dark of the Moon; inward time of meditation or contemplation is of great benefit.

Wednesday, January 29, 2014:

Wednesday is bound to be an interesting day. Look for innovations, excitement, and unusual new realities being presented and expressed. Sun Sextile Uranus. Consider something that occurred, or was of high importance in late March 2013. I expect there was a sudden awareness at that time that put you on a new path.  Now, we are reaching toward the end of that cycle and the beginning of a new one. This cycle is one that truly brings our future into focus. Fear and excitement intermingle as we become more of who we are meant to be! On this day you are given the opportunity to consider where you’ve been since late March 2013; consider what you have learned, and where you want the next cycle (beginning in early April 2014) to bring you. The Capricorn Moon makes her final aspect (Square Mars) at 11:47 AM EST. This ushers in a VOC* Moon, flavored by the aggravation of Mars, until the moon enters Aquarius at 11:32 PM EST.

Thursday, January 30, 2014:

We start today with a lovely Sextile between the Aquarius Moon and Uranus. Lovely energy as we enter into this day. We encounter the new Moon at 10° Aquarius at 4:38 PM EST. consider where this falls in your personal horoscope and consider what needs to be planted in this area of your life. Following a few days in the Dark Moon of contemplation, we reach a moment that begins a new cycle. This is the time of the New Moon. Plant a seed today that will bring benefit to all of humanity. This is not a New Moon to consider personal wishes so much as what the community of humanity is now seeking. How can you help to forward motion of our world by a seed you plant today? Take a moment this afternoon to contemplate this action and what it may mean.  It could be as simple as showing kindness to one person.
Remember, the Moon Cycle is a four week cycle that is actually the relationship between the Sun and the Moon. Today we begin this month’s cycle. We come to a point that requires action on February 6, we reach full illumination on the issue at the Full Moon on February 14, and reach a point of reorientation on February 22. The Cycle reaches its conclusion at the next New Moon on March 1st. Consider how you want this Cycle to unfold, make your plan today.

Friday, January 31, 2014:

Friday brings a great deal of activity and shifting energies.
Before we awaken Jupiter opposes Pluto. This brings us to the fulfillment of a cycle that began in mid December 2007. The issue begun at that time reached a point of stress and a demand to take action between Summer of 2010 and early 2011. The results of what began in 2007 are now very clear to us. The three points of time for clarification (the results of what began at the start of the Cycle): August 3013, Now, and late April 2014. At this time we are able to release the creative energy of what began at that time. Do you know what this refers to? Have you kept a journal? Keeping a journal is very helpful in following the Astrological Cycles.
Mercury enters Pisces this morning at 9:29 AM EST after being in Aquarius for since January 11, 2014. Don’t be surprised to notice you thoughts turning in more mystical directions. You may notice an opening to intuition. Mercury will be going retrograde on February 6 and will move back into Aquarius on February 12th where s/he will remain until April 7, 2014.
At 3:48 PM EST Venus in Capricorn finally turns direct after being retrograde since December 21. We can expect our relationships and our finances to move forward after being in a stuck pattern since December 21st.  These issues will now begin coming back into clear focus. Moon is VOC* in Aquarius following a Trine to Mars at 11:45 AM. Moon enters Pisces at 10:44 PM. Anticipate a great nights sleep with vivid dreams! Go ahead and enjoy that extra glass of wine before bed, or spend some time listening to music that transports you.

Saturday, February 1, 2014:

A lovely Saturday! Anticipate a dreamy, romantic, imaginative day with nothing standing in the way of getting done what you need to get done and enjoying what you long to enjoy. Go back to bed this morning. Sleep a few extra hours if you can. If you are not able to sleep late, because of insomnia or young children in the house, put on some beautiful music, get out artistic projects, and put your mind to enjoying whatever is in your world this morning. Stay with creative projects, good music, and your imagination. Plan to see a movie or live music tonight.  If you have chores you need to accomplish today, it may not be ideal but shouldn’t be a problem either. Whatever you do will move you forward to a lovely evening that is great for making connections, for romance, love, pleasure, and all types of enjoyment.

Sunday, February 2, 2014:

Anything that requires focus or concentration that you need to attend to is best managed before 11:35 AM. At that time the Moon makes a free-flowing Trine aspect to Saturn. The afternoon will hold the energy of stability and ambition. The Moon will be VOC* until 11:55 PM EST when she enters Aries, bringing us forward into next week with assertiveness and energy to spare.

______________________________
* In my weekly reports I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to it’s VOC time, as that aspect holds it’s influence throughout the VOC*
The Aspects I consider: Conjunctions, Sextiles, Squares, Trines, and Oppositions
The Planets I am working with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
*VOC (void of course) refers to the period of time between the final aspect that the Moon makes while in one sign until she enters the next sign. This can consist of several minutes or many hours. These periods are best handled with little expectation of accomplishment; times ideally suited for rest and contemplation.
