KEEP CALM AND UNRUFFLED
Monday, February 5, 2018:
When you went to sleep on Sunday night, you may have anticipated beginning the week with diplomacy and calm. However, although the Moon continues her path through charming, social Libra, even she has her limits.
With an early-morning struggle against power hungry Pluto and a mid-afternoon challenge with defiant Uranus, Monday’s story will have elements of the bizarre and the unconventional. Watch for power plays and anti-establishment rhetoric.
This will be a good day to practice maintaining a steady level of internal peace and harmony. Remain unflustered and unruffled even as you keep your eyes wide open to your environment and those around you.
At 10:57 PM EST, the Moon enters the deep, intensely private waters of Scorpio. Head to bed, this is a wonderful night for passion between the sheets and, if that is not forthcoming, seek passion and intrigue in a deeply intense dream state.
The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:45 PM EST until she enters Scorpio at 10:57 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

UNEXPECTED POSSIBILITIES
Tuesday, February 6, 2018:
Tuesday is a very different day from Monday! First off, with the Moon now in Scorpio, it is less important to you that you please others. Your focus is more on internal depth and intensity. When the Moon is in Scorpio, we can oftentimes become brooding and secretive. However, as the day turns into evening, you may be surprised by unexpected connections or shifting relationship values reflected in a sextile aspect from Venus to Uranus.
Think back to early June of 2017 when the cycle between Venus and Uranus began. Did you meet someone at that time that has remained a part of your life or did you begin the development of a creative project? This is a cycle of waking up to new understanding, a new view of your deepest values, seeing what is real beneath the surface of love, resources, or beauty.
At this time, it is important to explore what you have learned since the beginning of the Venus and Uranus cycle. It is time to prepare to release and begin the next new cycle in late March of this year.
If you meet someone during the first few days of this week that opens your eyes with curiosity, understand that they may have something important to teach you regarding love or beauty. Don’t walk away. This meeting may provide an opportunity that will take root in March.

ALLOW PARADOX
Wednesday, February 7, 2018:
Wednesday morning brings us to the First Quarter Lunar Phase, a challenging square aspect between the Aquarius Sun and the Scorpio Moon. This suggests a choice between going into deep emotional spaces (Scorpio) or staying in the intellectually stimulating but emotionally detached coolness of Aquarius.
Feeling pulled in these two directions may be uncomfortable but your job is to find the balance and allow each to be expressed. Allowing paradox to exist in your heart, mind, and life expression is key to a full and joyful life. This morning offers time to practice.
However, at 1:15 PM EST, when the deeply private Scorpio Moon forms a sextile to empowered Pluto, there is value in moving into areas of depth and mysterious intensity.
At 4:57 PM EST, the Moon joins with expansive Jupiter, beginning a cycle of expanding your understanding of emotion through deep introspection and passion. Go deep or go home.

SEEKING WISDOM
Thursday, February 8, 2018:
At 8:54 AM EST, the Moon enters Sagittarius, a mutable Fire Sign. Fire brings great energy, determination, and the ability to move forward; the mutable part of the sign allows for change and adaptability.
With the Moon in Sagittarius, you want to understand more than you have understood in the past. This shows you are ready to expand your ability to see a larger view of your life, your culture, and your world. You may be drawn to explorations of other cultures and how other people think, believe, and live. You find yourself on an adventure, exploring your higher levels of understanding as you develop wisdom.
Thursday also brings us to Uranus moving beyond a 5° orb of its square to Pluto. These two ‘big kids’ on the playing field have been dancing around with this challenging square aspect between them since 2009. The conversations they have engaged in have had a powerful impact on the world culture.
Together, Uranus and Pluto speak of revolution, upheaval and profound change. We are ready to turn a corner on that conversation and begin to truly assimilate the shift in the greater world as well as our personal lives. Let’s see how that works out.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:17 AM EST until she enters Sagittarius at 8:54 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

CONSIDER A ROAD TRIP
Friday, February 9, 2018:
The Moon continues through Sagittarius on Friday, increasing your anticipation of the weekend. Your thoughts race forward; go ahead and plan an adventure for Friday evening and through Saturday! Please allow those plans to land you home for a more serious day on Sunday.
When the Moon squares Neptune at 11:04 AM EST, you may find yourself at a low point in the day. Clear thinking will not be available, so take a meditation break or go for a walk. Allow yourself space to be unproductive and trust it to pass.
At 3:33 PM EST, with the Moon now forming a sextile aspect to Mercury, mental clarity returns and you are able to get much more done that if you tried to power through the earlier part of the day.
Enjoy an adventure on Friday evening. Spend time with folks who are outside of your normal social circle. Learn about perspectives that are unlike your own. Go on a road trip or at least travel in your heart and mind.

ALLOW THE INCREASE OF LOVE
Saturday, February 10, 2018:
The Moon spends most of the day still in lighthearted, idealistic Sagittarius. At 11:38 AM EST, with the Moon forming a trine aspect to defiant, inspirational Uranus, this will be a lovely morning for brunch with friends. Meet with friends who will engage you in interesting, expansive conversations about thoughts and ideas. Don’t spend time with folks who gossip or bring you down.
If your love connections have felt a bit cool or more intellectual than heartfelt, Saturday will change that. At 6:19 PM EST, Venus enters the soft, compassionate, and deeply sensitive sign of Pisces, where she will remain until March 6th. This is a great time for romance, although not great for starting relationships as you may not get a realistic view of the person in question.
A square aspect from the quirky Aquarius Sun to Jupiter in Scorpio at 6:20 PM EST should serve to alert you to pay attention to your tendency to overextend yourself.
Remember, that self-care is paramount and overextending yourself to please others will not serve you. A cycle of expansion that began in late October 2017 requires attention now. What action can you take to support what began then? Take action to increase your understanding and belief of who you are in this world, on this planet, in this universe. Send unconditional love to all.
If you were hoping for an exciting Saturday night, you may want to reassess your expectations. The Moon enters serious, levelheaded, determined Capricorn at 9:21 PM EST. Saturday evening will be a good time to engage in conversations regarding the serious structures and foundations you want to build to support your plans for the future.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 11:38 AM EST until she enters Capricorn at 9:21 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SOLITARY ACCOMPLISHMENT
Sunday, February 11, 2018:
Sunday brings us to quiet but serious day. At 9:17 AM EST, the hard-working Capricorn Moon joins with Saturn (the planet that rules Capricorn).
This is not a day to laze around the house to watch movies or read novels, it is not a day to go out and have boisterous fun with friends. This is a day to engage in a project that will leave you feeling accomplished at the end of the day.
Is there a house project you have been putting off? Is there something you want to build for future use? You will enjoy the project best if it is a solitary endeavor, not a shared experience. Spend time alone.
At the end of the day, look at what you have accomplished and give yourself a pat on the back before ending the week.

“There is no measuring with time, no year matters, and 10 years are nothing. Being an artist means, not reckoning and counting, but ripening like the tree which does not force it sap and stands confident in the storms of Spring without the fear that after them may come no Summer. It does come. But it comes only to the patient, who are there as though eternity lay before them, so unconcernedly still and wide. I learn it daily, learn it with pain to which I am grateful: patience is everything!”

CONSTRUCTIVE ACTION
Monday, January 22, 2018:
If you head outside in the wee hours of the morning, you will see Mars and Jupiter at the highest point of the ecliptic, still moving through the deeply intense sign of Scorpio. Jupiter’s expansive nature has been opening doors and windows on dark and hidden issues; secrets have been and continue to be exposed. Mars has brought anger and the demand for change in the area of these hidden issues.
Allow yourself the vulnerability to expose the truth of what you have hidden; turn your anger and rage into constructive action. Major change is possible. Put your shoulder to the grindstone.
The Moon entered Aries as the day began, providing much incentive to push forward on a direct, forceful path.

USING YOUR VOICE
Tuesday, January 23, 2018:
Head outside again (I know it is unlikely… but some of you might!) in the wee hours of the morning before the Sun rises. The pre-dawn sky holds a story. Between 5:50 AM EST and 6:50 AM EST, authoritative Saturn, communicative Mercury, and empowered, often times destructive, Pluto, are seen rising in the east before the illumination of the Sun moves into view at sunrise (7:28 AM EST).
With the Sun in Aquarius, it is the only one of these four planets that is not in heavy, restrictive, duty-bound Capricorn. What does this mean to you? Individually? Culturally? How do you see this reflected?  Think about this simply.
I suspect that most of you are working very hard to bring a powerful change to your lives (and the lives of others) by using your voice with self-respect, determination, and integrity.
On the heels of all the work this week brings, the quirky, brilliance of the Aquarian Sun offers relief and intellectual awakening. Watch the Sun as it shows itself over the horizon.
Consider all the powerful, even revolutionary change possible as you awaken and do the work necessary to bring your message to those who need your voice.
The Aries Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) after 11:15 PM, she will enter Taurus at 8:40 AM EST on Wednesday. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

LISTEN – SPEAK TRUTH
Wednesday, January 24, 2018:
Wednesday’s pre-dawn horizon continues to be dominated by Saturn, Mercury, and Pluto showing themselves rising in the East shortly before the wild Aquarian Sun. Serious conversations regarding business and government continue to precede change.

The Love BIrds by Scooby13 via Wiki Media

At 8:40 AM EST, the Moon, settling down after her assertive stretch through Aries, enters stabilizing and comfort-seeking Taurus.
Wednesday afternoon sees Mercury coming into full contact with Pluto. Those serious talks that have been right on the tip of your tongue (or hidden below the surface) are now ready to come forward to shift the very ground you stand on.
Powerful conversations are likely to change the ‘lay of the land’. You may hear things you didn’t expect to hear, you may say things you have wanted to say but weren’t prepared for the results. Now, the time is right.
You likely have very little idea of how the words spoken now will change things but a seed is planted that will grow over the coming months. Much is brewing beneath the surface, Pluto’s work is done in darkness. Pay attention to conversations; listen between the lines.
At 5:21 PM EST, the Taurus Moon forms a stressful square aspect to the Aquarian Sun, pushing you to choose between comfort and necessary, revolutionary change. You have a better idea of what must be done than you may admit to yourself. Get clear.
The Aries Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) until she enters Taurus at 8:40 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

CREATE BEAUTY AND COMFORT
Thursday, January 25, 2018:
Thursday begins with a lovely sextile aspect from mental Mercury to expansive Jupiter. You are able to see the advantages and the growth possible from whatever conversations have been occurring over the last few days. Whatever that needs to be said or exposed to bring further clarity, comes more easily and creates less stress.
The Moon continues through steadfast, loyal, sensual Taurus. She makes lovely aspects throughout the day to dreamy Neptune, powerful Pluto, and talkative Mercury.
I suspect that your life will take on a slower, more optimistic tone as you focus on sensual pleasures of love and beauty. Whenever the Moon is in Taurus or Libra, (both are ruled by Venus), make the bed, put flowers on the bedside and make space for love, beauty, and sensuality in your life.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) after 10:17 PM EST. She will enter Gemini at 12:40 PM EST on Friday. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

CONSIDER ADVENTURE AND TRAVEL
Friday, January 26, 2018:
Since early December, Mars has been playing with Jupiter in Sagittarius which is the sign that Jupiter rules. There has been much activity and anger around revelations of dark Scorpionic secrets in the culture and perhaps, in your community, family, or personal life.
At 7:56 AM EST, Mars, the planet of assertion and direct action, enters Sagittarius and begins to assimilate the lessons of the issues that have been revealed. It is time to envision the growth that’s possible and your path forward. Mars will remain in expansive, light-hearted Sagittarius until he enters Capricorn on March 17, 2018.
While Mars is in Sagittarius, you will want to take direct action in-service of your highest ideals. You will also have less tolerance to feeling confined or restricted in any area of your life. This is a great time to seek out adventure, travel, learn about another culture or a new way of thinking.
At 12:40 PM EST, the Moon leaves the sensual sign of Taurus behind and enters curious, information-gathering Gemini. This will be a good weekend for gathering with friends for light conversation and word games.
If you notice yourself aggravated or someone seems cranky in the early afternoon, let it roll off your back. The Moon opposes Mars at 12:53 PM EST. It will pass quickly. Make plans with friends in the evening.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) until she enters Gemini at 12:40 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

MENTAL ENGAGEMENT NEEDED
Saturday, January 27, 2018:
You can expect a day of mental activity on Saturday. You will be curious about others, you don’t want to sit still but want to move quickly and experience variety in all things. This is the way of Gemini.
This is not the weekend to sit languidly on the couch, go to a movie or spend time at a meditation retreat. You will be much happier chatting with new friends, reading, something relatively light, teaching, learning, and gathering information about a variety of topics.
Keep active or you will find yourself restless and skittish. You may notice that you have a shorter than usual attention span. If you encounter restlessness in others, you may be impatient as well. Use humor to defuse any challenging situations.
As evening approaches, you may notice excitement tor mental anxiety. In the wee hours of Sunday morning, Mercury forms a challenging square aspect to unsettling, inspirational Uranus. Open your mind and allow unusual ideas, epiphanies, and shifting understandings of your world. Don’t hold too tightly to an opinion, belief, or idea. Thoughts, beliefs, and ideas can change on a dime.
Basically, this is a light-hearted day that requires quick movement and mental engagement. Enjoy as you think outside the box.

DISMANTLING OLD BELIEFS
Sunday, January 28, 2018:
If you think about the planets as teachers, consider Mercury as the trickster who moves quickly, talks quickly, and wants to chat-up all the students. Uranus is the unconventional teacher, a bit of a rebel offering insights that surprise or shock its students. In May of 2017, these two joined together to begin a cycle or to teach a class of unusual ideas and a new way of thinking. The next time they come together will be in May of 2018. This is a one year cycle.
With a challenging square aspect between them occurring on Sunday, look back to what you were thinking or learning in May 2017. The line of thinking or communication that you began then now needs to be dismantled in order to begin a new conversation or thinking pattern this May. Don’t worry you have between now and May to engage in the process of dismantling.
An upset may occur to push you to release that thinking, you may meet someone who shakes up your thoughts or you may just have wild epiphanies. Allow yourself to begin the process of release.
At 1:57 PM EST, the Moon winds down, moving into Cancer and hoping to sit close to loved ones and relax with a good meal and loving connections.

With Venus and the Sun entering innovative Aquarius this week, you can expect the movement of new ideas and big changes. Over the coming month, you can anticipate unexpected and surprising shifts to the ground beneath your feet. Your perspective and, of course, your personal chart can create excitement or stress. If you experience stress, hold your head high and look for the silver lining, it is right there.

RELEASE WORN OUT BELIEFS
Monday, January 15, 2018:
We are currently in the darkest phase of the Moon, the Balsamic phase. The Moon is joining forces in the most conservative, serious sign of Capricorn, with the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Pluto. This is quite a pile-up of energy in this prudent, mature sign.
The Balsamic phase of the Moon is a time of inward contemplation, a time to seriously consider your ambitions and your path ahead. Things are about to lighten up somewhat in the coming days with the quicker moving planets preparing to leave serious Capricorn behind and move toward new innovations. Both Venus and the Sun will enter Aquarius this week.
With a closing sextile aspect between Jupiter and Pluto, you may have an opportunity to release some dark influences that began at the end of 2007 with the conjunction between those planets. Ponder how your beliefs impact your deepest understanding of life.
Allow this new energy to move you in a new direction. Begin to release the tight hold that worn out belief systems have on you. Allow yourself to see the world and your place in it in a new way. Hold this message throughout the week.

CAPRICORN NEW MOON – AMBITIOUS ENDEAVORS
Tuesday, January 16, 2018:
The Moon continues through persistent, cautious Capricorn throughout the day. Focus on serious consideration of your most ambitious plans for the months ahead.
The Capricorn New Moon occurs at 9:18 PM EST. This is when the Sun and Moon join together, currently at 27° Capricorn. It will aid you to wait and perform your rituals on Wednesday. Remember, never attempt these observances ahead of the exact time of the New Moon. They are best done on the day following the New Moon.
I will post instructions for a simple New Moon ritual on Wednesday. Serious contemplation will bring you to an understanding of the focus of growth you want to begin in the upcoming phase.
With a challenging square aspect from the conservative Capricorn Moon to innovative, wild Uranus at 4:45 PM EST, you may find yourself wanting to move forward but feeling held back by some restrictive outside or inner force. You want to take that step but are held back for a bit longer. Continue your contemplation and serious planning.
Keep Monday’s message of releasing worn-out beliefs in mind. Release must happen before you can move ahead.

THE NEW MOON RITUAL & MORE
Wednesday, January 17, 2018:

One in Four by Jonnyh31 via Wiki Media

The Capricorn New Moon was exact on Tuesday. However, it is best to do your New Moon ritual on Wednesday, after the Moon has moved away from the ‘beams of the Sun’. The growth of the seed you plant will be supported by the wait.
Keep your ritual simple. Take a moment to write down the changes you wish to begin, create, or increase in the upcoming Moon Cycle. With this New Moon occurring in Capricorn, the intention you set will be ambitious, business related, requiring hard work, and sustained effort.
If you know what house in your birth chart holds Capricorn, it will help you clarify where this effort is needed. For example, if Capricorn rules (is on the cusp of) your 1st house, set an intention for serious effort regarding how you present your personality or in the 4th house, set an intention to bring serious effort to your family relationships or your home environment. If Capricorn is in the 7th house, perhaps you need to make a significant commitment to a partner or in the 10th house, you may need to put your nose to the grindstone and focus on ambitious growth of your business.
If you don’t know what house is involved, simply go with your intuition regarding the area of life that requires maturity, focus, and hard work or make an appointment for a consultation. Contact me.
~~ Onto the Ritual ~~
Have two candles available; light a candle to represent yourself, as you are in the moment. Light another candle as an aspiration of what you intend to create. Each day, take a moment to focus on yourself as you light the first candle, then light the second candle, focusing on drawing to you what you want to create, bringing the two candles closer together. Do this each day until at the Full Moon, you will bring them fully together and acknowledge the result of what you have created.
The Capricorn New Moon suggests that you plant a seed of maturity, facing reality, growth through hard work, and stability.
On Wednesday, Venus and the Moon enter Aquarius, lightning up your mood and bringing you out of the dark as you enter a significant growth cycle. The energy of Aquarius encourages us to look at innovative and unusual solutions to long range issues of the human condition. This is an excellent time to look at where you can make a difference in the challenge of being a human on this planet in these times. What can you do to support the growth of awareness in the world? How can you help on a humanitarian level? Look outside of yourself and find a way.
In the wee hours of Wednesday morning, the Capricorn Moon is VOC* from 1:30 AM EST until she enters Aquarius at 3:32 AM EST. By the time you wake up, the Moon will be in Aquarius.

MOVE BEYOND “PREACHING TO THE CHOIR”
Thursday, January 18, 2018:
With both Venus and the Moon now in rebellious Aquarius, take the time to consider the areas of life where you are resistant to the pressures of social conventions.
Remember, that while the Moon is a passing concern (remaining in each sign for only a few days) Venus, on the other hand, will remain in objective Aquarius until February 10th. Venus represents values, the ability to create relationships, and the ways that we choose to use our money and resources. Consider where your values are outside, and perhaps, beyond the beliefs and values that the majority of your culture holds.
This is a good time to look at how your beliefs fit into the wider world around you and how you support what you believe. What can you do to bring a more progressive perspective to others? It is far too easy to seclude yourself within your own social circles. This results in your voice being weakened by simply “preaching to the choir.”
Take the time to truly and deeply listen to those who think differently than you. Take the time to understand. Learn to express your ideas in a way that others, even those who think much differently than you, may be able to hear. You may feel ‘out of step’ but you can continue to speak your truth with kindness, honesty, and open-hearted acceptance of the true beliefs of others.
It is a valuable skill to learn to listen without judgment. Aquarius allows you to focus on the importance of your task even as you are able to set your emotions aside, moving you in the direction of a less conventional future.

SUN ENTERS AQUARIUS – EXPANDING INNOVATION
Friday, January 19, 2018:
Early Friday may bring us some challenging aggravation as the detached Aquarius Moon forms a stressful square aspect to assertive Mars, who has little patience while in Scorpio. Don’t engage in difficult struggles with family over the breakfast table. Allow agitation and anger to roll off your back.
At 3:27 PM EST, the Moon enters soft-spoken, mystical Pisces, softening your emotional reactions.
At 8:07 PM EST, Mercury forms a sweet sextile to mystical Neptune. You may be tempted to look for an escape route this evening as you are simply tired of dealing with the harshness of reality. Go for the healthy escapes such as poetry, music, or meditation; an extra glass of champagne or wine is fine as well. Choose, perhaps, a movie to dream the evening away.
At 10:09 PM EST, the all-powerful Sun enters Aquarius, beginning a month long experience of expanding your understanding of humanitarian issues. The Sun in Aquarius comes at the coldest time of the year here in the Northern Hemisphere. With the cold, we go inward as our minds move into unexpected areas that bring us forward to new innovations in order to support the growth of humanity. Watch how your thoughts open to new ideas and the connection with folks of differing viewpoints.
The Aquarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:52 AM EST until she enters Pisces at 3:27 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

COMPASSION, ACCEPTANCE, LOVE
Saturday, January 20, 2018:
Saturday will usher you into a weekend of gentle connections. The Moon remains in fanciful Pisces throughout the weekend, blurring the boundaries between you and others. You may notice yourself feeling more compassionate and forgiving. You may also notice yourself experiencing deep sadness as you are easily overwhelmed by the pain and suffering you see in others.
Take time this weekend to daydream and enjoy any healthy means of escape from the harsh realities of your life. Go ahead and enjoy an extra glass of wine and a good film. Allow yourself to dream, listen to music that sweeps you to another land or best idea yet: meditate.
At 6:21 PM EST, the Moon forms a supportive sextile to Mercury, encouraging you to speak words of compassion, acceptance, and love.

MEDITATE. PRAY. LOVE.
Sunday, January 21, 2018:
Another day with the Moon forming pleasant aspects to other planets, as she moves though inspired, gentle Pisces. You can easily connect with feelings of unconditional love and kindness as your heart and imagination open easily into areas of transcendent, mystical sensitivity.
You are able to feel the connections between yourself and others as the boundaries between you and others seem to simply dissolve. Allow this sensitivity and take steps to give of yourself to those who need your love and support. You are able to understand that what you give supports all of humankind, yourself included.
Solitary pursuits support your connection to divinity. Spend time in or on the water, at a beach or river, or simply take a long, hot bath. Take time to daydream, spend time in silent contemplation, and find your way back to your own center. You are susceptible to very subtle energies so make sure you are spending time with people who uplift you.
The Pisces Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 8:13 PM EST until she enters Aries on Monday morning at 1:28 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

DETERMINATION MEETS CONFUSION
Monday, February 27, 2017:
Don’t expect to settle into calm terrain yet! When impulsive, possibly angry, Mars opposes expansive Jupiter at 9:24 AM EST, the challenges of last week are ratcheted up. There is an overabundance of heat and powerful determination.
With the Moon still in Pisces, you may feel unclear and even confused by the circumstances and shifting events of the past five days. Whatever wake-up call or shocking revelation you have had is going to take some time and inner work to process.
When the sensitive Pisces Moon conjunct Chiron at 1:09 PM EST, you will seek a silent place of healing. Take yourself and your process seriously; go inward even as you support those you love.
With the Moon square Saturn at 6:07 PM EST, you may feel the need for time alone. Respect that for yourself and others.
At 11:51 PM EST, the Moon releases her elusive sensitivity as she enters dynamic, independent Aries. You will be ready to face a new day on Tuesday.
The Pisces Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:07 PM EST until she interested Aries at 11:51 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

BOLD COURAGEOUS LOVE
Tuesday, February 28, 2017:
Finally, we are offered a day of astrological calm on Tuesday. Perhaps, calm is a relative term when the emotional Moon, romantic Venus, defiant Uranus, and dynamic Mars are all in Aries, the sign of impulsive determination. Wow. That is a lot of assertiveness that is bubbling alongside the soft sensitivity of the Sun, Mercury, and Neptune all in Pisces. You cannot really believe all that you see (fake news indeed).
Even with all of this as we come off the past week’s intensity, we will take this moment to breath and relax. The only major aspect throughout the day is the Moon conjunct Venus at 9:54 PM EST.
Consider your most deeply held values; contemplate your own pursuit of love, money, and beauty. Go to bed early, make love with your partner or connect with your own self-love.
Understand that there is boldness and courage in your engagement in love at this time.

SIDESTEP HOTSPOTS
Wednesday, March 1, 2017:
Wednesday begins with the aggressive Aries Moon having difficult conversations with obsessive Pluto, anxiety producing Uranus, Jupiter (the planet that simply enlarges whatever picture we are looking at), and aggressive Mars. It is a good idea to carefully observe your own emotional triggers and sidestep other people’s hotspots. This is not a day to speak your mind or engage in difficult conversations. No one will win.
At 9:19 PM EST, the Aries Moon forms a stabilizing trine to steadfast Saturn calming us in time for sleep.
At 9:43 PM EST, you are certainly ready to drift into dreamland, spend time in meditation, or pour yourself an extra glass or two of wine. Your perspective of the circumstances you find yourself in may be highly distorted. Find a way to express your most creative imagination and get a good night’s sleep. Keep your notebook handy to write down your dreams when you wake up on Thursday morning.
The Aries Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 9:19 PM EST until she enters Taurus at 2:43 AM EST on Thursday morning.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

CONNECT WITH KINDNESS
Thursday, March 2, 2017:
By the time you wake up on Thursday morning, the Moon is in Taurus, which you would normally expect to bring solid relief to all the intensity we are living in.
However, with Jupiter now opposing Uranus, whatever you are expecting will be larger and more exciting (or disastrous) than you anticipate. You have the sense of desperately wanting to break free of limitations and restrictions and are highly aware of the most positive as well as the most negative expression of future possibilities.
I encourage you to watch the reflection and the rumbling changes of these energies in your personal life as well as within our culture, our government and the world.
Wherever you find yourself, be an example of calm, open-hearted love, kindness and acceptance. Don’t let yourself get caught up in your own situation so much that you miss the opportunity to make significant, deep connection with others. We are all in need of an extra dose of kindness. Be that example in the world, show the love in your heart.

SIMPLY REST
Friday, March 3, 2017:
Friday presents us with a quiet day of rest. Following a smooth, easy trine aspect to Pluto at 10:20 AM EST, the solid Taurus Moon is VOC until 5:06 AM EST Saturday morning. VOC stands for void of course, meaning that the Moon has made its final major aspect while in one sign until it enters the next sign.
In other words following her conversation with Pluto, she doesn’t speak to any of the other planets until she enters Gemini early Saturday. This slows down all activity and gives us time to rest.
The intense energies of these past weeks have us all on edge; and no, it is not over. For Friday, allow yourself to take a break. Go home after work, cook a nice meal and spend time doing something that simply makes you happy. Take a bath; give your lover massage. Rest.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 10:20 AM EST until she enters Gemini at 5:06 AM EST on Saturday morning.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

VENUS RETROGRADE – WHAT DO YOU VALUE?
Saturday March 4, 2017:
By the time you wake up Saturday morning, the Moon will be in Gemini encouraging conversation, friendliness, and curiosity.
The important thing this week occurs on Saturday as Venus turns retrograde at 4:09 AM EST. She will remain retrograde until April 15th. This is an important period of time. Pay careful attention. Venus goes retrograde approximately every 2 years. As with any retrograde, it is important to refrain from forward motion regarding the issues related to the planet involved.
Venus represents the things we value most dearly, our love relationships, money, art, romance, and beauty. Venus represents our deepest personal values. During this time, it is important to go inward and get crystal clear on the things that you value most highly in your life.
Don’t be surprised if past lovers show up on your doorstep or in your FB feed. What do you need to revisit from the past? What can you learn by looking at what you have valued in the past?
Consider carefully what is of the highest value in your life. Consider that what is in your life has higher value than you may know. Consider what it would take for you to be deeply satisfied. Could you be satisfied exactly where you find yourself?
This is a time of contemplation, not forward motion on these issues.  Do not, I repeat, DO NOT start a new romantic relationship or make new financial investments.

ACTION TO STABILIZE
Sunday, March 5, 2017:
Sunday brings a very active Gemini Moon offering you many opportunities for connections, conversations, and engagement with friends and family.
Early in the morning, before you head into all that activity, there may be some challenge as you are simply not sure which way to turn. Once you determine the direction and take action to move forward, the day will smooth out.
At 6:32 AM EST, the chatty Gemini Moon squares the passive Pisces Sun. You will want the action of the day to be something that moves forward the intension you set in motion, or the seed you planted at the New Moon last weekend.
At 3:45 PM EST, assertive Mars forms a pleasing trine aspect to steady Saturn. This will assist in accomplishments coming easily and hard work moving smoothly. As you push forward into the future, you feel deeply supported by structure and stabilization. This is a day when your communications can help to stabilize your actions.
Bring folks together to get a project done that involves both intellect and physical action. Enjoy time spent with friends accomplishing projects and taking action to move your life forward.

EXCITEMENT AND POSSIBILITY
Monday, February 20, 2017:
The Sagittarius Moon is having conversations of excitement and ease with assertive Mars, conversational Mercury, revolutionary Uranus, and expansive Jupiter! All of this before noon!
Please, get up early and get on with this day. There is great activity and shifting perspectives will be available. This should be a great morning for planning or implementing a road trip or in some way expanding your world-view.
Given all the activity and excitement, do keep your feet firmly anchored on the ground. At 6:37 PM EST, you may encounter restriction or have to face reality on an issue you were hoping to avoid.
As you are heading toward sleep on Monday night, you may be blindsided by excitement or anxiety. You may receive a message, hear or read something that activates your thinking in a way that makes falling asleep challenging!
If there is a conversation that you need to have or something you need to research, you may as well stay up late.
Some idea or conversation is offered that may change the fabric of your thinking over the coming weeks. At 11:01 PM EST, Mercury, the planet that represents our thoughts and communication forms a sextile aspect to Uranus, the awakener. Perhaps, there is something that needs to be released unexpectedly in order for deeper understanding and a new idea to be birthed in late March.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:37 PM EST until she enters have Capricorn at 2:07 AM EST in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

IDEALISM AND HOPE
Tuesday, February 21, 2017:
When you wake on Tuesday, the Moon is in ambitious Capricorn encouraging you to engage in mature, responsible activities. The serious Capricorn Moon stabilizes the idealism of Pisces as a sextile aspect forms between the Moon and the Sun (in Pisces) at 8:16 AM EST. Get to work early and plan on making great strides of accomplishment. You have the stamina to maintain a powerful work ethic and focus throughout Tuesday.
Keep exerting pressure on the focused maturity of your effort.
At 1:27 PM EST, a flowing trine aspect forms between mental Mercury and expansive Jupiter. Think back to an idealistic view or idea that began to take hold between August and October of 2016. That idea has been mightily challenged, has had space to grow, and now flourishes. Open your mind to idealism and hope.

POWER DYNAMICS
Wednesday, February 22, 2017:
Please keep in mind that fighting battles that you have no control over the outcome and simply cannot win will simply drain you and leave you mentally and emotionally vulnerable.
A square aspect formed between two plants represents a challenge. The energies of the two plants involved are working at cross-purposes. On Wednesday, a square aspect forms between aggressive Mars and obsessive Pluto. This holds a powerful shadow over much of the week, but watch most closely for it on Wednesday.
Understand that this suggests a high potential for conflict, anger, and power struggles.
Consider where you can best direct your warrior spirit. Make a constructive difference in your world with this powerful energy. Dynamic Mars squares the hidden forces of coercive Pluto at 4:02 AM EST.
Focus your attention on what you can change. Go inward and get clear about your responsibilities and consciously consider where you can direct your energy for the greater good of all. Beating your head against the wall is not useful; try gathering like-minded folks together to discuss current events.
The start of this cycle was on October 19, 2016. Watch the political drama that is playing out!
The Capricorn Moon takes everything seriously and also forms difficult aspects to angry Mars, unsettling Uranus, and powerful Pluto. This is a challenging day, use it well, and with respect and caution.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 10:24 PM EST until she enters Aquarius at 12:18 PM EST on Thursday afternoon. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

SPEAK UP
Thursday, February 23, 2017:
Thursday morning, you will most likely still be in the grip of the challenges that Wednesday’s aspect of Mars square Pluto brought. Don’t miss your daily meditation practice. It will serve you well.
At 12:18 PM EST, the Moon (the holder of our ‘feeling nature’) enters unemotional Aquarius. This will bring the relief of a cool detachment. Any emotional intensity held over from Wednesday can now wash away, being replaced with a more intellectual, detached perspective.
Aquarius allows us to see the world objectively enabling us to plan accordingly. We see the big picture as we plan humanitarian rebellion. Watch what is happening around the world. There is instability that demands that we each look at the bigger picture and join together with others to plan accordingly.
Mercury (currently in Aquarius) is the planet of thinking and communicating. At 4:45 PM EST, Mercury sextile serious Saturn. A sextile aspect is an opportunity.
Generally speaking, we want to say yes to the opportunities that a sextile presents. This opportunity is one of speaking your mind. If there is something you need to say, now is the time to say it. This is a wonderful aspect for writers, speakers, or anyone who has something to say!
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) until she enters Aquarius at 12:18 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Friday, February 24, 2017:
Finally, we come to a day that offers simplicity.  The Moon continues through objective and rebellious Aquarius. Your ideas and emotions continue their focus on the needs of the larger culture. When the Moon is in Aquarius, we are able to see outside of ourselves to the issues that impact humanity at large.
At 10:41 AM EST, when the Moon forms a sweet sextile to lovely Venus, the planet of beauty and love, our hearts open to the harshness in the state of our world. You are able to see into the eyes of those less fortunate and seek ways to be of help.
Your task for Friday is to find an avenue to direct your attention, efforts, and money to help the world outside of your little personal bubble.

MORNING PLEASURES
Saturday February 25, 2017:
Get up early on Saturday morning and gather together with friends or family. This is a lovely day with positive aspects to assertive Mars, unusual Uranus, expansive Jupiter, and stabilizing Saturn. You will be able to get a lot accomplished or simply have a lot of fun during the bulk of the day.
Things change when, at 6:07 PM EST, mental Mercury follows the Sun into dreamy, mystical Pisces and the Moon follows on its heels at 7:25 PM EST. We now have a serious pile-up of planets in sensitive Pisces.  With our focus on the surreal Pisces energy, you may struggle to understand what is nearly unknowable.
What is under the surface of your life that you cannot quite see? Perhaps, it shows up as a vague shadow. What are you unable to see clearly? Taking time in meditation over the coming days will be highly valuable.
We are also in the Dark of the Moon as we approach the New Moon and Solar Eclipse which will be exact on Sunday morning. Go inward for understanding; there is more intensity right around the corner. It is important to strengthen your soul’s purpose and direction.
The Aquarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:12 PM EST until she enters Pisces at 7:25 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

PISCES NEW MOON – SOLAR ECLIPSE
Sunday, February 26, 2017:
Sunday is a significant day! First, we have the New Moon and Solar Eclipse at 9:59 AM EST. You may feel plunged into darkness and confusion. Do not despair. Keep your eyes open, allow inspiration and transcendent mysteries to be revealed. It may be difficult to see fantasy from reality so allow yourself to hold a soft focus.
This is not a day to make solid decisions, and not a day to allow yourself to get lost in confusion or escape. Hold steady. Spend time in meditation, creating art, listening to music, or opening your heart to compassion.
Eclipses open new doorways, they can put our feet on a new and unexpected pathway. Life can change on a dime.
Accentuating all of that is the conjunction between Mars and Uranus at 7:19 PM EST. This begins a two-year cycle of assertive, revolutionary change. This aspect occurs at 22° Aries. To understand where in your personal life this change, begin by looking to where 22° Aries falls in your natal chart. If you want to understand more about your personal chart, please contact me for a consultation (). You will learn a great deal about yourself and your path forward.
