DETACHED VIEWPOINT
Monday, June 4, 2018:
A very quiet Aquarius Moon is with us throughout Monday. You can stay home and get just as much accomplished as if you go to work or the other way around. Because the Moon is VOC* all day, there really is nothing you need to accomplish.
This is a day best suited for wild, innovative thinking and gathering with others of like mind. With the Moon in Aquarius, you will do well to seek insights and genius ideas in the company of others. Your emotions generally will not get in the way as you are able to set them aside and view your life from a more detached viewpoint. You are more interested in the plight of humanity and in the big picture of others than in your own pesky emotional state.
I find that long VOC* Moon periods can feel a bit frustrating as I can’t seem to settle into anything and feel a bit like I am aimlessly spinning my wheels. Feel free to have a different experience.
The Aquarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:09 AM EDT until she enters Pisces on Tuesday morning at 6:54 AM EDT. This is a VERY LONG VOC* Moon. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
POWER DYNAMICS IN LOVE
Tuesday, June 5, 2018:
The Moon has entered dreamy Pisces by the time Tuesday gets underway but don’t expect a passive or quiet day due to a build-up of significant interplanetary transits perfecting before the day’s end.
At 10:01 PM EDT, Mercury joins with the Sun in the mid-degree of Gemini, shortly before a powerfully stressful opposition from Venus to Pluto.
Pay attention to what you say and what is said to you. Make sure you understand what is bubbling beneath the words. If you had a significant relationship or financial issues that began in the first two weeks of January 2018, notice how that story has played out and is being expressed now.
You could encounter difficult power dynamics in a love relationship or financial situations. Keep this issue in mind for Wednesday as well; these issues will not vanish overnight.
GO WITH YOUR IMAGINATION
Wednesday, June 6, 2018:
Les Dames du Marché by Bernard Cadène via Wiki MediaWednesday, June 6, 2018:
As Wednesday begins, you are still working on the difficult underlying story regarding power dynamics in love or financial concerns. You may be somewhat successful in sweeping those issues under the rug due to the challenge from thoughtful Mercury to dreamy Neptune, along with another square building from the Sun to Neptune.
Clarity is not forthcoming over the next few days. With the Sun and Mercury still in chatty Gemini, there is a lot that you would like to say. Don’t rush into anything that involves trying to explain yourself or your position. Watch as confusion and lack of clarity are expressed in conversations all around you. Expect interesting communications as folks try to talk about things they either know very little about or they are unable to articulate what they do know.
Neptune does not support understanding, so it is probably best to wait before speaking your mind about sensitive issues. Neptune does support meditation and dreams. The Moon is in Pisces all day further heightening your connection to spirituality, lack of clarity, and imagination. So spend the day with soft concerns. Rest and dream.

DELVE INTO MUSIC, POETRY, MEDITATION
Thursday, June 7, 2018:
Thursday continues with the same challenge to clarity that was with us on Wednesday. Utilize this sense of watery spaciousness by delving into music, poetry, meditation, or other spiritual concerns. Use your imagination and take the opportunity to dream.
All this Neptune activation should fall away rather dramatically when the Moon leaves passive, quiet Pisces and enters aggressive, loud Aries at 5:26 PM EDT.
It may feel like you have been suddenly been released from a fog or having had bandages removed from your eyes. It’s a relief. Of course, this depends on your circumstances. If you are an artist, a poet, or a mystic. this may very well not be a welcome shift.
Most of you will be more than ready to face the next few days with more assertiveness and energy to take action and move forward. Spend the evening on your own doing something physically active. Go for a run, bike ride, enjoy the strength of your body and your ability to use it to whatever extent you are able.
The Pisces Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:35 AM EDT until she enters Aries at 5:26 PM EDT. This is a VERY LONG VOC* Moon. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
CHALLENGE YOURSELF
Friday, June 8, 2018:
You should wake up on Friday morning feeling strongly driven and able to tap into fierce determination and courage. Find a way to use that energy before it slips into impatience or combativeness.
At 6:56 AM EDT, the Aries Moon makes a positive aspect to Mars. If you are feeling short-tempered or aggressive, it is best to go for a run, have a hot sexual encounter, or masturbate. Move the forceful, excitable energy of Mars (Mars rules Aries) through your body.
When the Moon is in Aries, it is time to take on a challenge, be competitive, take a risk, prove something to yourself. This is not a time for empathy or romance, better to go for a direct passionate exchange.
“Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.” ~ Og Mandino

ENGAGE THE POSITIVE
Saturday, June 9, 2018:
If you are an early riser, you will want to be aware of the tough square aspect from the Moon to Pluto at 7:43 AM EDT. Anger and power struggles could easily arise. Do what you need to in order to sidestep whatever issue arises with it.
By the time the Moon sextiles Mercury at 12:04 AM EDT, you are able to release those reactive feelings and settle into a conversation that can support the rest of the day.
Don’t make rash decisions regarding love or money in the afternoon under the influence of the Moon square to Venus, as what you need and what you desire may be strikingly at odds. This won’t last long and the evening is fully salvageable.
Make plans to go out dancing or spending time with others engaged in physical activities. Plan something fun and engaging. The day will have its ups and downs but should end on a high note.
The Aries Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:37 PM EDT until she enters Taurus shortly after midnight. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
HEALING TOUCH
Sunday, June 10, 2018:
You will wake to a new day with the Moon, now in steady Taurus, joining in the early morning hours with exciting Uranus. Finding excitement in stability or finding your own steadfast core in the midst of anxiety may be the task at hand.
You may encounter some frustration mid-afternoon as the Moon squares Mars at 1:22 PM EDT, again, find your internal strength, maturity, and resoluteness.
This is a good day to spend in the garden, the earth will soothe the places that feel unsettle and frightening. Bring flowers into your home, create beauty around you. Show love in tangible ways. Cook a meal for your loved ones. Offer healing touch.
“We use astrology most constructively and creatively when we gain from it a sense of what is possible for us at the highest levels of our potentialities. Seeing that, the challenges is then to keep our eyes open to life itself, to be able to respond appropriately when some event or change of circumstances…”

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
* The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
* The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
4 Simple Steps to Managing Mercury Retrograde:
The big news of the week comes on Sunday, December 3rd at 2:43 AM EST, when Mercury turns retrograde at 29° Sagittarius.
“La Petra Camara” by Théodore Chassériau
Take time to prepare for the upcoming three weeks. Mercury will turn direct once again on December 22nd. If you have followed my writing over the years, you are familiar with the best ways to work with Mercury retrograde.
- Don’t be afraid, worried, or concerned!
- Get a notebook and a pen. Make a list of everything that you have begun but haven’t completed in the past few months.
- During the retrograde, get to work! Accomplish what is on this list and only what is on this list.
- Don’t be tempted to start new projects, or take on new commitments, new relationships, or new jobs.
Mercury retrograde brings us a great gift, the perfect opportunity to wrap up loose ends!
“There is no measuring with time, no year matters, and 10 years are nothing. Being an artist means, not reckoning and counting, but ripening like the tree which does not force it sap and stands confident in the storms of Spring without the fear that after them may come no Summer. It does come. But it comes only to the patient, who are there as though eternity lay before them, so unconcernedly still and wide. I learn it daily, learn it with pain to which I am grateful: patience is everything!”
~ Rainer Maria Rilke
THE UNDERPINNINGS OF MAGIC
Monday, November 27, 2017:
In the very early morning hours of Monday, the poetic Pisces Moon joins fanciful Neptune and we start the week in a bit of a dreamy fog. Perhaps, you are just coming back from a long weekend and really would prefer to keep your head under the pillows and sleep the day away.
However, your deeper awareness understands that things are about to get serious as Tuesday’s conjunction of perceptive Mercury to hard-working Saturn can be felt throughout the day. Mercury is moving slowly, as the planet of our thoughts prepares to turn retrograde (December 3 – December 22).
A great use for these energies would be to work on the serious goals you are considering in a free-flowing manner; don’t get into the details, develop the dream!
Prepare an intention statement for your life, work, family, and relationships.
Make sure that you have begun anything you want to work on between now and the end of the year so that projects don’t get stalled during Mercury retrograde.
Do serious work with imagination and understanding of divine magic. All that you are able to accomplish has the underpinnings of magic!
SERIOUS THINKING – SERIOUS CONVERSATION
Tuesday, November 28, 2017:
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Mercury and Saturn join together as they begin a new cycle of bringing your attention to conversations, effort, and work that is required.
Once Mercury goes retrograde on Sunday of this week, we will encounter this same aspect on December 6th and again on January 13, 2018. This allows us time to contemplate the serious intent involved. Currently, both planets are in the last degrees of Sagittarius and are asking that we look at very significant issues from the perspective of our highest understanding.
When they join together in January, they’ll be in the early degrees of Capricorn and asking that we go to a deeper place of integrity and responsibility!
For now, consider a serious conversation that must begin; it will be ongoing and will circle back around over the coming months. You can only sweep it under the rug for so long. There is no reason to wait or to fear the outcome.
As Saturn enters Capricorn on December 20th, you will be called to stabilize your thinking, get clear on your direction in work, growth, and your greater understanding of yourself and the world.
At 11:31 PM EST, the Moon leaves dreamy Pisces behind and enters fiercely assertive Aries. It is time to set aside any dreaminess, wistfulness, or escapism; it is time to push forward, to take action with courage and assertiveness.
The Pisces Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 7:08 AM EST until she enters Aries at 11:31 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
This is a day best suited to working on your own. If you must work within the context of a group, there can be some challenges in determining who the leader is and who the follower is, as someone is going to want to be the boss!

CLARITY AND CONFIDENCE
Wednesday, November 29, 2017:
Wednesday brings with it free-flowing, fully engaged energies as the feisty Aries Moon forms a lovely trine aspect to the idealistic Sagittarius Sun. If you have planets between 6° – 8° of the Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius), this will be a very affirmative and expressive day for you. Emotions and intentions are positively aligned, following the same path with joy and determination.
You are probably best off working on your own with the Moon in impatient, independent Aries, although early in the day, it will be easier to take others into consideration.
Wednesday evening brings the aggressive Aries Moon to a direct, challenging square aspect with powerful Pluto. This suggests the possibility of difficult power dynamics or underhanded tactics. Given that this occurs at 6:54 PM EST, it may be wise to spend the evening alone or allow a lot of space and independence to all concerned.
Allow clarity and confidence to embrace you as this courageous Aries Moon grows toward a clever and inquisitive Gemini Full Moon on Sunday.
LET KIND WORDS END THE DAY
Thursday, November 30, 2017:
With the Moon in Aries, you may find yourself quick to act with courage or anger. You may notice a desire to take risks that normally would not appeal to you.
Early on Thursday morning, the Moon makes aspects to both dynamic Mars and eccentric Uranus. You tend to be focused on yourself and may be impatient with others and easily angered; unfortunately, they are probably feeling the same way. It will be a good morning to keep your thoughts to yourself or at least to think through them carefully before opening your mouth.
At 11:49 AM EST, when the Moon forms a lovely, supportive trine aspect to Saturn, and, shortly thereafter, to Mercury, you will relax and have more awareness of the significance of timing and the feelings of others.
At 3:39 PM EST, the Moon enters Taurus, bringing a steadfast calm to our emotional environment. If you acted without forethought earlier in the day or over the past few days, it will be painfully apparent. You can repair any damage done with levelheaded stability and heartfelt, kind words.
The Aries Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:38 PM EST until she enters Taurus at 3:39 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
LOVE AND TENSION
Friday, December 1, 2017:
Early on Friday morning, Venus enters freedom-loving Sagittarius. Venus is the planet that represents our deepest values. It represents our love relationships, our relationship to money, resources, and all things of beauty. Venus takes approximately one year to move through all the signs of the zodiac. On her path through the signs, she brings our awareness to the beauty of each sign.
On November 7th, Venus entered Scorpio. What have you learned in these past three weeks about the depth of love and beauty? Have you encountered lessons about how love transforms us, about passion, introspection, and depth?
Now, as Venus moves into Sagittarius, the lessons of love take a lighter turn. It is time to think of love, money, and beauty as a philosophical quest. This is a time to gain understanding even as you seek freedom and idealism in the arms of love.
Venus will remain in Sagittarius until December 25th, when she enters Capricorn to help us with lessons of integrity and responsibility.
Another highly significant occurrence on Friday is the opposition from dynamic action-taking Mars to revolutionary Uranus. The cycle between Mars and Uranus is approximately a two year cycle of bringing courage and direct action to the unsettling humanitarian needs of our lives and our times.
This cycle began in late February of 2017. Consider carefully what began at that time. Looking back, what is the clarity of your vision, where have your actions brought you now? Consider what changes must be made to bring your understanding of the need for revolutionary action to take place in your own life or in how you support it in the world.
If you have planets or points between 23 and 27 degrees of Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn), this will have direct significance in your personal life. Please share your thoughts! I would love to hear your experiences with this.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 8:53 PM EST until she enters Gemini at 4:20 PM EST on Saturday. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

DEEPEN COMPASSION
Saturday, December 2, 2017:
Saturday brings with it a talkative, enthusiastic Gemini Moon. This bodes well for a social day full of conversations, curiosity, and mental stimulation. A day of rest is not in the cards, you will get that on Sunday. You will feel best with lots of interaction; without it you may end up restless and irritable. Plan for social time with friends and acquaintances.
On Saturday evening, at 9:19 PM EST, expansive Jupiter forms a lovely, flowing trine to dreamy Neptune. This is a major planetary aspect that will occur three times between now and August of 2018. This transit brings with it a sense of hope and an interest in undertaking or deepening a spiritual quest for truth. You will be called over the coming months to seek deeper wisdom and clarity through poetry, music, dreams, visions, meditation, and mystical communion.
Compassion deepens as you see your profound connection to the poor, sick, and suffering of humanity. You may open to the possibility of following your dreams with less need to control the outcome as you are more inclined to trust your intuition. Love and romance may also open a path to higher understanding and compassion. Seek an authentic manner that you can bring love to the suffering of the world. Find a way to be of service to those in need.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) all day until she enters Gemini at 4:20 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
GEMINI FULL MOON – MERCURY TURNS RETROGRADE
Sunday, December 3, 2017:
Three significant events occur on Sunday:
- By the time you wake up, Mercury has turned retrograde at 29° Sagittarius.
- At 10:47 AM EST, we come to the Full Moon at 11° Gemini. Remember, the Full Moon brings full illumination to what occurred at the Scorpio New Moon on November 18th. Whatever your focus or whatever you began at the New Moon will show its results with clarity now.
- At 6:43 AM EST, the Sun squares Neptune, possibly creating a challenge in motivation and enthusiasm. You may feel some confusion and disappointment and your vitality may feel weakened. Allow yourself to rest, watch movies, and expect nothing. Self-care is the most important aspect of your day.
Take time to prepare for the upcoming three weeks until Mercury turns direct once again on December 22nd at 13° Sagittarius. If you have followed my writing over the years, you’re familiar with the best ways to work with Mercury’s retrograde periods.
Here is your reminder:

A PLAYFUL, FUN EVENING
Monday, May 29, 2017:
When you begin the day on Monday, do your best to shake off the frustration and possible judgmental tendencies that are reflected in the opposition from agitated Mars to somber Saturn at 2:54 AM EDT.
This transit calls your attention back to late August of 2016 when these two planets joined together to begin a cycle of energizing and taking action on your responsibilities. What did you begin at that time that embodied serious action or effort? The cycle began at 9 degrees Sagittarius (on August 24, 2016); where does that fall in your chart? Now you are able to see how well you managed the hard work and responsibilities necessary.
When the Moon enters blithe Leo at 8:11 AM EDT, you are ready to let go of resentments, grievances, or dissatisfaction. It is time to enjoy a cheerful, frisky, and playful day. The Leo Moon forms a sweet sextile aspect to the chatty Gemini Sun just as you are wrapping up the day. If you have a playmate, make the effort to enjoy a good-natured lively romp, with lots of laughter, before sleep.
The Cancer Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:58 AM EDT until 8:11 AM EDT when she enters Leo. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
UNUSUAL ACTION
Tuesday, May 30, 2017:
Tuesday begins with an early morning sextile from the Moon in spirited Leo to expansive Jupiter who is still in cooperative Libra. You feel positive and generous toward your loved ones and are ready to face the day with a smile.
You may struggle later in the day when the Moon forms a challenging square aspect to Mercury (the planet of the mind) in stable Taurus. There may be a disagreement between those who are feeling playfully creative and those who want to build something solid and lasting. Who gets the last word? Allow each other to hold very different ideas and opinions; accommodate each other even if it seems counterintuitive. The payoff will be well worth it.
At 10:39 PM EDT, ‘take no prisoners’ Mars forms a sextile aspect to revolutionary and unpredictable Uranus. This brings the suggestion of excitement and the possibility of unusual and sudden action. Did you begin an unusual development in the last week of February 2017? If you can identify what began then, you will know what you want to pay attention to now.
Explore unusual ideas; an opportunity is presented and you should take the initial steps that will bring about great change in early December of 2017. Thinking beyond ourselves, we can see possibilities here regarding our political dilemmas.
MORNING FLOW – AFTERNOON EFFORT
Mrs Langtry by Edward Poynter via SightsWithin
Wednesday, May 31, 2017:
The word of the day is flow, defined as, “to move along steadily and continuously in a current.” Allow your life, drive, and communications to flow steadily forward on Wednesday. There is no need to push or try to control the direction of any project or communication, simply allow it to happen.
The day begins with a trine (flowing) aspect from the playful Leo Moon to stable Saturn and excitable Uranus forming a Grand Trine. A grand trine is a planetary pattern composed of three or more planets located at the apex of an imaginary equilateral triangle. In the case of this Grand Trine, the planets involved are all in the element of Fire, bringing enthusiasm and creativity to the table. This is a harmonious and stable configuration.
Further increasing the positivity of the day, Mercury, the planet of communication and thought processes, also forms an easy trine aspect to powerful Pluto (8:02 AM EDT) allowing your conversations and written communications to be easily expressed and understood. If you have an important issue that needs to be discussed, questions to ask, or something that must be revealed, this is the day to allow it to come naturally and simply into the conversation.
If there is something that you need to reveal but would rather it not have much impact, have the conversation before 12:15 PM EDT. Have the talk after 12:15 PM EDT, if you want what you say to make a difference going forward.
At 12:15 PM EDT, the Moon enters industrious, efficient Virgo inviting us to settle into an afternoon of productive work. Put in the effort and you will accomplish a great deal. However, keep your expectations reasonable. You don’t want to end up beating yourself up at the end of the day because you didn’t accomplish everything! Whatever you get done is GOOD ENOUGH! Give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done.
The Leo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 7:14 AM EDT until she enters Virgo at 12:15 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*m there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
STABILITY AND GRACE
Thursday, June 1, 2017:
Thursday begins with the meticulous Virgo Moon forming the First Quarter Moon phase to the chatty Gemini Sun. This may pit your industrious dedication to work against your desire for simple social connections. Should you get your work done or go out and chat over coffee with a friend? Not always an easy decision on a day like this!
At 11:23 AM EDT, you will find it easier to settle on one direction or the other as Venus, the planet of pleasure and social graces, forms a flowing trine aspect to Saturn, the planet of responsibility and determination. Whatever choice you make will deliver stable benefits and grace under this influence. You can bring beauty and style to your work or responsibility and structure to your social interactions.
At 2:15 PM EDT, when the Moon opposes elusive Neptune you will want to take a break to meditate or simply daydream. Allow compassion to color your interactions with others as you move into the evening hours.
BEST BET: VULNERABILITY
Friday, June 2, 2017:
The day begins with action-oriented Mars in flighty Gemini forming an uncomfortable square to Chiron, the planet of deep wounding. You may feel tired and unsure of your ability to function, given the reality of deep personal trauma. Troublesome conversations may feel initially excruciating, however, do not avoid these conversations. Allowing deep vulnerability has the potential to bring powerful healing under this influence.
Friday’s Virgo Moon is not feeling as helpful or friendly as she did on Thursday. First, she squares melancholy Saturn at 11:22 AM EDT, followed by another challenging square to impulsive, angry Mars at 5:49 PM EDT. This can easily be expressed in hurt feelings and defensiveness. Again, your best bet is to allow yourself to be open and amenable, to not jump to your own defense but simply let the moment pass. Three deep cleansing breaths will bring you back to equilibrium.
At 8:04 PM EDT, the Moon enters Libra bringing your attention to the need for interdependence and graceful cooperation.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:49 PM EDT until she enters Libra at 8:04 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

ANTICIPATION – EXCITEMENT – JOY
Saturday, June 3, 2017:
While we slept (at 3:31 AM EDT), harmonious Venus joined with defiant, inspirational Uranus at 27 degrees Aries. This is the beginning of a cycle of anticipation, excitement, or breakdown regarding love, resources, and beauty (all Venus issues). If nothing new is possible, breakdown is inevitable.
Plant a seed to grow with non-conformity in love, originality in beauty, or inspiration toward the growth or use of money and resources. This ends the cycle of these same issues that began on April 22, 2016. Whatever began then now completes, allowing an entirely new direction or simply an upgrade to a higher level of expression.
At 12:12 PM EDT, the all-powerful Sun forms a flowing trine aspect to expansive Jupiter allowing you to see your life from an extraordinarily larger than life perspective. Look for experiences in the everyday that open your heart to joy, wisdom, and optimism.
Throughout the day, the Moon continues through lovely Libra forming positive aspects along the way to both Jupiter and the Sun. Enjoy social connections that bring charm, romance, and diplomatic grace.
SLIPPERY ILLUSIONS
Sunday, June 4, 2017:
Don’t be surprised if you wake up Sunday morning surrounded by an air of confusion, bewilderment, or deep compassion toward others. At 12:13 PM EDT, the rational Gemini Sun forms a stressful square aspect to elusive Neptune. Your imagination is heightened and yet, it is slippery and illusory, making it not terribly workable. Spend time in meditation or simply listening to music and allowing yourself to dream.
At 12:15 PM EDT, Mars leaves perceptible, talkative Gemini behind and enters protective, inward Cancer. Mars, the planet of courage and initiative, is uncomfortable in any Water sign (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces), as he wants to take direct action with assertiveness to get what he wants. In Cancer, Mars is unable to take such an approach as he runs into issues of mood swings and touchiness. You may notice yourself tending more toward defensiveness and being overly protective toward those you love. Mars will remain in Cancer until he enters dramatic Leo on July 20, 2017.
The Libra Moon will assist you in maintaining balance throughout the day. At 9:22 PM EDT, as the Moon sextile Saturn, you can settle into a level headed stability and a good night’s sleep that will support you in moving into the coming week!

STABILIZATION AND EQUILIBRIUM
Monday, February 13, 2017:
Monday offers a solid, stable day to reconnect and strengthen your equilibrium. The Moon continues through steadfast, hard-working Virgo until she enters graceful, refined Libra at 3:43 PM EST.
Monday morning you can anticipate a need to stabilize your position or your emotional state. By mid-afternoon, with the Moon’s entry into Libra at 3:43 PM EST, you are ready to put your most diplomatic, social self forward. You understand the importance of pleasing others in order to allow smooth movement forward in your process and in your life.
Monday offers a pleasant day as we reach for a sweet sextile (an aspect of opportunity) between the Aquarius Sun and Saturn, the planet of responsibility and restraint. This aspect is not exact until the earliest hours of Tuesday but can be clearly felt on Monday evening.
Watch for opportunities to settle into more structured stable patterns or habits as you move forward. Let the energy of strength and self-determination into your dreams and wake with you on Tuesday morning.
The Leo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 12:53 AM EST until she enters Virgo at 8:52 AM EST. So, by the time you are fully into your day, the Moon will be in Virgo. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.
LOVE IS NO EASY GAME
Tuesday, February 14, 2017:
Many of you will awake with thoughts of love and partnership on this Valentine’s Day. With the Moon in romantic, charming Libra, it is an appropriate day to consider your closest love relationships. However, this is not a day to seek or celebrate frivolous or immature love.
The day begins with a sextile aspect between the Sun and stabilizing Saturn at 12:58 AM EST. This is a celebration of structure, stability, and the work that is necessary to create solid growth in our lives and our partnerships. Love is no easy game, and on Tuesday with this seriousness in mind, that is clear to us.
Think about what began at the start of the cycle between Saturn and the Sun on December 10, 2016. What did you decide to begin, grow, or strengthen at that time? Now, consider what you can do over the coming months to support its ongoing growth. In mid-March, when the Sun forms its opening square to Saturn, you will be required to take a major step forward in its process. Consider for now what that upcoming action may be.
As far as the love issue, remember that this year Valentine’s Day is dedicated to serious and committed love. You are being asked to release or deepen the love you are currently engaged in. It is up to you. Let the connection go if you do not feel the need or desire to form some structure that will support its growth.
If you are single, consider your commitment to being single or your commitment to opening to a love partnership. Not everyone desires or needs a committed partnership to support the deepest growth of their soul. Contemplate where you land on the spectrum of need and desire for love and partnership. Gain some clarity.

A ROUGH START LEADS TO PLEASURE
Wednesday, February 15, 2017:
Don’t be surprised to wake on Wednesday morning with a bit of anxiety and even dread. The Libra Moon engages in harsh conversations with empowered Pluto and agitated Uranus, setting us on-edge. Don’t try to run from it or pretend it is not lurking there beneath the surface; don’t let it rule your day either. These are simple Moon transits that do not hold us under their thumb for any extended period of time. Let it go… let it go…
At 11:54 AM EST, when the lovely Libra Moon meets up with Jupiter, you will feel a lightening of emotional constriction; the remainder of the day and evening should be one of the highpoints of the week. The cooperative Libra Moon delights in her conversations with steady Saturn and the energizing Sun. You will want to be social on Wednesday evening, either in a group or with one special friend or partner. Enjoy.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 8:54 PM EST until she enters Scorpio on Thursday morning at 1:41 AM EST.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.
THE ACTION OF SPEECH
Thursday, February 16, 2017:
Isn’t it interesting how a new day can bring such a totally different energy to our lives? When you wake on Thursday morning, the Moon has entered the deep, dark waters of Scorpio asking that we dig deep for inner guidance and clarity.
The lightness and desire to please others that was present on Wednesday is gone. There is an emotional depth to the day that you will recognize in the eyes of all whom you encounter. Go ahead and look deeply but do not try to enter the realm of another without an express invitation.
At 1:14 PM EST, Mercury, the planet of thought and perception, is sextile (an aspect that offers an opportunity) to passionate Mars suggests that your thoughts are on fire for action. You will be able to access innovative ideas regarding the release of some understanding or consideration that began in July 2015.
Ideas and plans that lead to letting go are exposed. In late June of 2017, you will begin a new cycle of heating up your mind with a new plan or understanding of the actions required for the path forward. Seek creativity and motion in your thoughts and plans.
DEEP EMOTION – OFFER GUIDANCE
Friday, February 17, 2017:
On an emotional level, you may regret what you said on Thursday; the communication that you had to deliver. Please remember that the regret is only for the circumstances you have found yourself in, your truth really had to be spoken. It often takes kindness and courage to say what we must.
Allow yourself to stay in a realm of deep emotion throughout the day. You don’t need to run away from the intensity. There is much to learn in the depths of what is hidden away. Go ahead and open your heart to what has long been kept below. Go deep along side those who reach out and need a helping hand. This is a day of depth and longing. Be a light in the dark for those who live without light. Hold up your light to guide them.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:38 PM EST until she enters Sagittarius on Saturday afternoon at 1:53 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

THE INTANGIBLE SENSITIVITY OF PISCES
Saturday, February 18, 2017:
Saturday morning brings a profound shift as The Sun leaves the intellectual brilliance of Aquarius behind to enter the intangible sensitivity of Pisces. This is the time of year that we move to our deepest internal realms of self-understanding. It is important to find inspiration and compassion even as you avoid confusion and a deep desire to escape the harsh realities that are evident in each of our lives.
The coming weeks allow time for deep contemplation as we prepare for the new solar year which begins when The Sun enters exuberant, dynamic Aries on March 20th.
The internally focused Scorpio Moon moves quietly without impact until she enters the fiery, extravagant sign of Sagittarius at 1:53 PM EST.
Over the coming month, you will do well to focus on taking time alone to go inward, to understand your own process of emotional or spiritual growth. It would be easy to spend the time watching TV, smoking weed, or drinking too much. Please make it a point to watch good movies, read poetry, listen to uplifting music, and deepen your yoga or meditation practice. Prepare yourself for the coming Spring by strengthening the pathway of your inner growth.
As the Sun enters a Water sign and the Moon enters a Fire sign, this may be a day imbued with anxiety or sadness as we move forward, adapting and adjusting to this major midwinter shift. Watch a movie, meditate or take at least one nap on Saturday.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) on Saturday until she enters Sagittarius at 1:53 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.
ENGAGE YOUR IMAGINATION
Sunday, February 19, 2017:
I hope you were able to take some steps toward adjusting into the dreamy energy of Pisces on Saturday. If you drank too much or otherwise used Saturday poorly, the difficulty of adjustment will continue into Sunday.
However, if you were able to seamlessly adjust to incoming Pisces energies, Sunday should be a pleasant day. At 10:21 AM EST, the Sagittarius Moon forms a lovely trine aspect to Venus, the planet of love and beauty. We are encouraged to take a step forward or to simply allow love and friendship to flourish.
I would encourage each of you to take a friend to brunch, or join together with a group of friends. Following brunch, take in a movie to celebrate the Pisces Sun and the square to Neptune at 12:44 PM EST. No serious movies please, choose something that will allow you to drift into a space of unreality in a healthy way engaging your imagination, inspiration and deep compassion.

SHARE LOVE, EXPRESS LOVE
Monday, November 28, 2016:
You may have the sense today that you are holding your breath. Are you waiting for the next shoe to fall? We can see where this is playing out on a cultural and social level but what about in your private life?
Monday is quiet; it is best to allow flow without insisting on focused accomplishment.
We are in the Dark of the Moon with the New Moon coming on Tuesday morning. The Moon is also VOC* until 3:46 PM EST.
Spending time with an inward focus is your best bet. Once the Moon enters Sagittarius at 3:46 PM EST, you will feel uplifted. The late afternoon and evening will present opportunities to expand your understanding of other cultures, world-views, and manners in which others live their lives. Open to deep tolerance, understanding, and compassion. Share love. Express love.
The week begins with the Scorpio Moon VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) until 3:46 PM EST when she enters Sagittarius. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.
SAGITTARIUS NEW MOON: FREEDOM & UNDERSTANDING
Tuesday, November 29, 2016:
The Sagittarius New Moon is exact at 7:19 AM EST. Plant a seed of freedom for your own life and for the lives of all humans. Personal freedom will always leave a bitter taste in your mouth when you know that others do not share your access to those basic freedoms. Therefore, it is important that you plant this seed for the sake of all humans.
At 3:20 PM EST, Venus square Uranus, brings your attention to the more unconventional aspects of your values and you relationships. This energy can bring spontaneous excitement and unexpected change to your usual ways of engaging with others. Expect the unexpected in love and money.
Please take time on Tuesday to do a simple New Moon ritual. You will want to complete the ritual after the exact time of the New Moon and within 24 hours. The Sagittarius New Moon brings powerful energy for the development of freedom and the understanding of the world-view that others hold. Set an intention regarding the ability to share your beliefs and opinions and to hold, with great understanding, the beliefs of others who hold vastly different world-views.
Don’t neglect this New Moon ritual. Keep it simple. Take a moment to write down what you wish to begin, create, and increase in the upcoming cycle. Have two candles available for your ritual. Light the first candle to represent yourself, just as you are at this moment in time. Light the second candle as an aspiration of what you want to create. Each day, take a moment to focus on yourself as you light the first candle. As you light the second candle, focus on drawing to you what you are creating, as you bring the two candles closer together. At the Full Moon in two weeks, bring them fully together and see the results of what you have created.
Share this ritual with your friends and loved ones.
Tuesday’s New Moon at 7 degrees Sagittarius insists that you (we) plant a seed of freedom, perspective, and higher understanding. Plant this seed of freedom for yourself and for the benefit of all humanity.
ENVISION THE IDEAL
Wednesday, November 30, 2016:

Wednesday’s Sagittarius Moon is very active. You may wake with serious or difficult dreams in the early morning hours as the Moon conjoins restrictive Saturn (3:16 AM EST). Allow that energy to shift into excitement and open your thinking to inspiration as the Sagittarius Moon trines electrifying and unusual Uranus at 9:45 AM EST.
The most significant message of the day comes with the Sun’s square to dreamy Neptune at 8:16 PM EST. This energy will resonate through Wednesday and Thursday. Look back at a dream that began in February 2016. Now it is time to let go of unrealistic aspects of that dream in order to begin a more elevated dream in February 2017.
Begin to consider what you will create out of the cycle you are beginning to release now. You have enough distance and accumulated knowledge to allow the release of the parts of the dream that are no longer viable. Allow yourself to dream, to envision the ideal, to understand impressions, and to work with the intangible that forms the basis of this world. Spread loving kindness.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 11:08 PM EST until she enters Capricorn on Wednesday at 3:53 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.
BRING FORTH HOPE AND COURAGE
Thursday, December 1, 2016:
By the time you wake up on Thursday morning, the Moon is in disciplined, hardworking Capricorn, which offers a day of seriousness and focused effort.
However, at this time we can expect the focus to be less on solitary work and more on working together to reach a powerful goal that has great significance moving forward.
At 10:46 PM EST, impulsive Mars (in humanitarian Aquarius) forms a trine (a free flow of energy) to self-confident Jupiter, powerfully impacting both Thursday and Friday.
Consider what began (personally and culturally) in mid-October 2015. At that time, we began a cycle of expanding strength, understanding our combined wisdom, and fighting for protection. That cycle has now brought us to a point where the floodgates have opened!
Give of yourself to the cause you believe in. Bring hope, give financially, and show confidence in the outcome. The full result of this current effort will be clear in late February. Hold on; use your frustration to pour fourth courage and belief in a better future for all.
CLARITY AND DETERMINATION
Friday, December 2, 2016:
The optimistic self-confidence and courage you experienced on Thursday remains throughout Friday. However, this is not without complications. As the ambitious authoritative Capricorn Moon makes contact with Pluto at 11:28 AM EST, you may feel overwhelmed by the powerful forces that oppose you.
Maintaining equilibrium may be tricky but when Mercury (the planet of thinking, analyzing, and strategizing) enters Capricorn at 4:17 PM EST you may find yourself viewing the world and your personal situation with a focus on integrity, more interest in self-discipline, and a renewed acceptance of your personal responsibilities. Gather clarity and determination to focus on the reality of what you know must be done.
At 8:58 PM EST, as the Moon squares defiant Uranus anxiety may kick in. Look for innovative inspiration that will assist you in finding the best path forward. Look in unexpected places. Allow unusual ideas to stimulate a different perspective.

AFTER A SERIOUS DAY, KICK UP YOUR HEELS!
Saturday, December 3, 2016:
Saturday begins slowly with the Moon VOC* moving through conventional, serious Capricorn. Until the Moon enters unconventional Aquarius at 2:35 PM EST, it will be best to utilize the day by engaging in serious but simple routine activities that will forward your personal ambitions. You will feel best and be able to enjoy Saturday evening and Sunday more thoroughly if you get something concrete, however simple, accomplished.
Your best use of the day will be solitary. We all need time alone and Saturday before 2:43 PM EST is a great time to claim for the enjoyment of solitude.
Once the Moon enters unconventional Aquarius, you can let down your hair, set aside the serious mask you wore throughout the morning and make plans to engage with others Saturday evening or Sunday. The past few weeks have been terribly serious and challenging. Saturday evening is time to take a break, kick up your heels, and find gatherings of like-minded people to commiserate or party with.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:17 AM EST until 2:43 PM EST when she enters Aquarius. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.
CURIOSITY AND INTEREST
Sunday, December 4, 2016:
Everything feels lighter on Sunday. This is a simple day with the Moon in unconventional progressive Aquarius. A sextile from the Moon to the Sagittarius Sun at 3:57 PM EST offers curiosity and excitement as you seek new interests, ideas, and ways of moving forward.
This is the Crescent Moon Phase; that the seed you planted at Tuesday’s New Moon needs to be watered with your explorations and commitment to what you intend to grow. What can you learn now that will help you take a step forward next Wednesday at the First Quarter Lunar Phase? The process today is exploration and curiosity.
Enjoy time with like-minded friends and community members. Remember, we all need each other; the energies that we add to the collective are of major importance to all of us at this time in our shared history.
The Aquarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:34 AM EST until she enters for now at 4:35 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.
