Astrolore’s Weekly Astrology Weather: March 26, 2018 through April 1, 2018

“There is no measuring with time, no year matters, and 10 years are nothing. Being an artist means, not reckoning and counting, but ripening like the tree which does not force it sap and stands confident in the storms of Spring without the fear that after them may come no Summer. It does come. But it comes only to the patient, who are there as though eternity lay before them, so unconcernedly still and wide. I learn it daily, learn it with pain to which I am grateful: patience is everything!”

COURAGE AND EXPRESSION
Monday, March 26, 2018:
Monday begins with a flush of dreamy imagination as Neptune leads the Aries Sun into a new morning. Shortly after sunrise, the Moon, who sets the emotional tone for the day, enters Leo. Following a weekend of tension, as the assertive, independent Aries Sun tried to accommodate the sensitive, inward Cancer Moon, the Moon in Leo brings a surge of enthusiasm and drive.
The pioneering Aries Sun and the dramatic Leo Moon are delighted to be in each other’s company. The Leo Moon wants to be seen and the Aries Sun offers courage and pushes her forward. At 6:14 PM EDT, with the Moon forming a lovely trine aspect to the Sun, the spark, flare, and warmth of fire is unmistakable. Express yourself without holding back, allow others to see the full heat and shine of what is within.
The Cancer Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:58 AM EDT until she enters Leo at 7:45 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

OPEN HEARTED GENEROSITY
Tuesday, March 27, 2018:
The Moon continues through fun-loving Leo on Tuesday, suggesting that you are able to relax into easy self-expression and play. If there are children in your life, consider spending time with them in simple, creative play. Dress up together, dance, remind yourself of the joy of spontaneity.
When the Moon is in dramatic Leo, you are likely to find yourself wanting more attention and affection. This is a great day to practice giving to others exactly what you yourself desire. Give appreciation and affection without expectation and it will come back to you, possibly from a very different direction but it will come. The downside of Leo is self-centeredness, the positive side is open-hearted generosity. Keep this in mind and go for the GOLD.

SEEKING EXCITEMENT
Wednesday, March 28, 2018:
Wednesday brings with it a Virgo Moon (10:30 AM EDT), slowing us down after the previous two days of dramatic emotions while the Moon was in flashy Leo.

Crocus, snowdrops, and checkered lily bloom on an alpine meadow by Else Bostelmann

However, the transit of Venus to Uranus suggests intense and sudden changes regarding love, money, and creative endeavors. Watch the news, there will be surprises regarding relationships or finances.
On Wednesday, you will go out of your way to avoid boredom as you require more stimulation and excitement than usual. Make sure you set up a plan to accommodate this. If your relationships do not provide the excitement you desire, make a plan and prepare an adventure.
You may feel rebellious and impatient. Remember, this will pass in a few days, don’t imperil your life on a passing whim or restlessness. Watch carefully where you seek excitement through spending, investments, and love. This is the beginning of a one year cycle of invigorating your values through intense excitement and awareness.
Do keep in mind that Mercury is retrograde. Find your excitement in what is already on the table, build on what is already there. This is not the time to begin something out of left field, no matter how shiny it appears to be.
The Leo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:54 AM EDT until she enters Virgo at 10:30 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

MATURE WISDOM AND MASTERY
Thursday, March 29, 2018:
As the Moon passes through efficient, analytical Virgo, you feel driven to accomplishment on Thursday. The excitement of Wednesday may settle with a thud as the Aries Sun forms a difficult, challenging square aspect to responsibility driven Saturn.
On December 21st, just after Saturn returned to his home sign of Capricorn, the Sun joined Saturn, beginning an annual cycle of bringing seriousness and stability to the table. Now, we reach the First Quarter Square between them, directing us to take a stand, take action, and put a stake in the ground. It is time to alert yourself and the Universe that you are serious about your duties and ready to face reality.
Thursday is a great time to consider what your responsibilities are, what holds you back, and how patients on these matters will teach you self-respect, mature wisdom, and mastery. That is what you are learning about whatever issues you face on Thursday. Face your circumstances with determination.

GRACE AND BEAUTY
Friday, March 30, 2018:
The best use of Friday morning is the simple accomplishment of routine, mundane tasks. Don’t try to delve into anything more than that until mid-afternoon. Answer emails, clean out files or clean the refrigerator. 🙂
At 1:52 PM EDT, the Moon leaves industrious Virgo behind to enter graceful, diplomatic Libra. The rest of the day will be good for connecting with others in cooperative social projects.
With the Moon in Libra, it is easy to set your own needs aside as your focus tends to be peace, harmony, and cooperation. You are not willing to argue and are more able to compromise. Peace, calm and beauty are important, and you want to be in polite company, engaging in beautiful surroundings. Enjoy your time with friends.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 12:59 AM EDT until she enters Libra at 1:52 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

DEEPEN OR STABILIZE COMMITMENT
Saturday, March 31, 2018:
Venus, the planet of refinement, sensuality, attraction, and grace has been in the aggressive sign of Aries since March 6th. This placement has not been comfortable for her and she is delighted to now move into her home sign of patient, predictable Taurus. She will happily remain in until earthy Taurus until April 24th.
With Venus in Taurus, we are able to appreciate and indulge in the beauty of the world around us. Venus speaks to us about what we value most in love, money, and beauty. During this time, you are able to engage in open, level-headed conversations regarding these issues more easily. You trust yourself and others to be more patient and diplomatic in managing love and money.
Venus is not particularly passionate in Taurus but more sensual and willing to build structures and stability. You may find yourself more drawn to commitment. You will also notice a marked increase in your tendency to overindulge.
The Libra Full Moon is exact at 8:36 AM EDT. This brings into clear view the results of the seed you planted at the New Moon on March 17th. Look clearly and make adjustments. This is a good time to consciously balance your needs with the needs of the people you are connected with in love and financial partnerships. Deepen your commitments.

COMMITMENT AND POWER
Sunday, April 1, 2018:
Sunday brings some challenges to the Libra Moon as she forms difficult aspects to both destructive Pluto and defiant Uranus. Allow any relationship aggravation to pass without holding on to what someone may have been said in anger or simply off the cuff. Give space and remember that Mercury is retrograde, communications may not be expressed as intended.
Mercury retrograde joins with the Sun at 1:52 PM EDT. There may be conversations, communications, or assumptions that need to be revisited. Step lightly, keep the diplomacy of the Libra Moon close at hand.
At 6:58 PM EDT, when the Moon enters Scorpio, diplomacy is set aside in favor of intensity, depth, and passion. Superficiality won’t cut the mustard. Go deep and bring passion to the table.
Whatever your plans for the weekend, by Sunday night you will have a far deeper understanding of your love relationships, your finances, your commitments, and your relationship to power.
The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:30 PM EDT until she enters Scorpio at 6:58 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

“We use astrology most constructively and creatively when we gain from it a sense of what is possible for us at the highest levels of our potentialities. Seeing that, the challenges is then to keep our eyes open to life itself, to be able to respond appropriately when some event or change of circumstances…”

THURSDAY THIS WEEK – MERCURY RETROGRADE BEGINS

4 Simple Steps To Make the Most of Mercury Retrograde

Here we go again!
Mercury turns retrograde from our perspective (16° ARIES) on March 22nd at 8:19 PM EDT.

Everywhere you turn someone is asking (with trepidation and a touch of fear in their eyes) is Mercury turning retrograde AGAIN??
There is so much unnecessary fear and misinformation around Mercury’s retrograde cycles.
LET’S KEEP THIS SIMPLE

#1. Don’t be afraid, worried, or concerned. Don’t listen to those who are

I know that is easier said than done, but please forget all the terrible things you have ever heard about Mercury retrograde!
There are no astrological conditions that we need to block ourselves from in fear!  We simply need to learn how to make the best use of the planetary cycles as we encounter them!
I honestly LOVE Mercury’s retrograde cycle! During these times, I can finally catch up on all the things that have been left undone since Mercury turned direct after the last retrograde cycle (December 22, 2017).
After years of watching and working with Mercury’s retrograde cycles, I have come to love these brief periods scattered throughout the year. I feel that they are a gift. We simply must know how to use them!

#2.  Get a notebook and a pen – Make a list of everything that you have begun but NOT completed since December 22, 2017

Start with a clean sheet of paper, quiet your mind, and think back over these past few months. On December 22nd, Mercury turned direct at 13° Sagittarius. Since then, he has zipped along through Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and into Aries where he is now turning retrograde at 16°.
Think about what you have been doing since late December. Look through your calendar, your notebooks, your bills, wherever you will find reminders of everything that you have been thinking about and working on since then. Now, carefully make a list of all the things that you have begun but not completed. Dig deep; there are probably more things than you are aware of.
What about that appointment you have been meaning to make? How about the project that you finally tucked into a drawer because you couldn’t find the time to complete it? I am certain that we all have communications that have fallen through the cracks!

#3. Get to work! Accomplish what is on this list! Only what is on this list!

Once you have this list, it is easy to follow the perfect plan for the next three+ weeks. Mercury turns direct once again on April 15th, 2018. Get to work, accomplish the things on this list. Nothing more, nothing less.
This is the whole trick of dealing with Mercury retrograde. Stick with this list!
Our lives are so busy; we zip from one project to another, from one communication to another. We never seem to have the time to slow down and carefully complete the tasks that we have begun.

Mercury retrograde brings us the gift of time to wrap up all those loose ends!

#4. Don’t be tempted to start new projects, begin new commitments, new relationships, or new jobs!

This is the time for clean up only. Don’t move forward until Mercury turns direct on April 15th!
If you follow these simple steps, you will be amazed at how much you can accomplish during this 3 week period!
Good luck and get to work! Do remember that these are guidelines; not rules. There are things that can not be put off. Please be practical and do what must be done.

Onto the Dailies:

HIGH ENERGY – POTENTIAL AGGRAVATION
Monday, March 19, 2018:
Monday may feel like a fiery day of high energy and potential aggravation as the forceful Aries Moon begins to grow into her waxing crescent phase while making contact with defiant Uranus and power-hungry Pluto.
It is time to explore possibilities and new ways of experiencing your world. Watch yourself for any tendency to push your weight or privilege around as you may want your own way in some situation where you don’t expect the issue of diplomacy to deliver what you want. On Monday you likely want what you want without regard to others. Keep selfishness in check, don’t beat yourself up for it, but try to look beyond your own needs and get curious about how everyone involved may get their needs met.
When the Moon enters stable, slow-moving Taurus at 9:07 PM EDT, you may expect things to calm down for an early night’s sleep, however, shortly after midnight, Mercury and Venus join together at 16° Aries. Your words of love and connection may not be gentle but they will be direct and leave no one wondering what it is you want.
The Aries Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:29 PM EDT until she enters Taurus at 9:07 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

MARCH EQUINOX – SUN ENTERS DYNAMIC ARIES
Tuesday, March 20, 2018:
The Moon is steady and solid as she moves through reliable, consistent Taurus but the Sun’s entrance into Aries takes the cake and leaves us little thought for Taurus’s soft, earthy reverence.
At 12:15 PM EDT, we reach the March equinox. This is the vernal (Spring) equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and the autumnal (Fall) equinox in the Southern Hemisphere.
The March equinox is the moment of the new astrological year, the moment when the Sun crosses the celestial equator, the imaginary line in the sky above Earth’s equator, entering the first sign of the Zodiac, dynamic impulsive Aries. It may be a tiny bit less than exact, but conventional wisdom tells us that on the equinox we experience a day and night of equal lengths – 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night time. The name equinox is derived from the Latin words aequus, meaning equal, and nox, meaning night.
At the moment of the Equinox, the tilt of the Earth’s axis is inclined neither away from nor towards the Sun. This ushers us into the energies of Aries. Aries is a cardinal fire sign.
Think of the birth of Fire. As the Sun increasing in light and entices us to blast forward into new life with determination, courage, and physical, independent energy. Aries is a cardinal fire sign. Think of the birth of Fire.

FLOWERS AND BEAUTY
Wednesday, March 21, 2018:
Wednesday will be the first full day with the sun in dynamic, highly energetic Aries. Can you feel springtime in the air? During the month that the Sun is in Aries, Springtime itself is not dependable, we (in the NorthSpringtimeere) may still have days that feel more like late Winter than Spring.
On Wednesday, the Moon is in steadfast Taurus all day, allowing your heart to embrace the expansive excitement and deep pleasure of Spring. Taurus is a fixed, Earth sign that represents the period of time in the year when Spring becomes stable (the Sun will enter Taurus on April 19th). Taurus represents earth based beauty, reverence, and reliability. We know that warmth, sunshine and new growth are right around the corner. We must practice patience and bring beauty into our lives, encouraging the increase of more warmth, more sun, and more growth.
Bringing fresh flowers into your home, open the windows and let fresh air in; even if it is cold. Think about spring cleaning, you won’t want to work on that today, but plan for it.
Also, remember that on Thursday, Mercury stations retrograde. Begin preparing. Start a list of all that has been left undone over the past few months. I will post a reminder of how to manage Mercury retrograde in Thursday’s post.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:21 PM EDT until she enters Gemini at 1:30 AM EDT on Thursday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

MAKE SURE THE PLAN IS IN PLACE – MERCURY RETROGRADE
Thursday, March 22, 2018:
By the time you wake up on Thursday morning, the Moon has entered inquisitive, restless Gemini. While the Moon moves through Gemini, folks tend to be more talkative, light-hearted, curious, and also more alert and aware of others. However, don’t be surprised if your communications somehow fall flat. Mercury, the planet that rules Gemini, is stationary, turning retrograde at 8:19 PM EDT. This may leave you feeling somehow stuck in your communications.
It may feel difficult to say what you want to say and leave you wondering if you were understood if you even manage to get the words out. It is best not to start new projects or communications. Consider carefully how to manage this Mercury Retrograde which continues until April 15th. Remember, Mercury retrograde is a powerful time for accomplishment if you plan and prepare accordingly.
Be sure to re-read the “4 Simple Steps To Make the Most of Mercury Retrograde” at the top of this post.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:21 PM EDT briefly until she enters Gemini at 1:30 AM EDT on Thursday morning. By the time you wake up, all will be in order.

RELEASE CONTROL
Friday, March 23, 2018:
Friday brings a powerful transit that suggests the importance of deep change and possibly, profound turmoil to your love relationships. If you are in a less than stable, healthy partnership, this could bring a final break. If the relationship is healthy and you are well matched, you may find that some deep change needs to occur to move forward with full health intact. Dynamics of power and control must be managed carefully.
With Mercury retrograde as well, be acutely aware of communications between yourself and your loved ones. Don’t try to control those around you.
Allow yourself to loosen your grip, allow the future to be uncertain. Release your attachment to the outcome. The reality is that you can’t control others, you can’t control the future, and often, you often can’t even control yourself! Allow profound change to occur.
On January 9th, Venus and Pluto began their annual cycle of bringing beauty to power. Did something begin at that time that now needs a powerful push to move forward? Question your path forward.
Be cautious of any attraction that feels intensely powerful and fated this week. This is also not a time to make new financial investments.
The Gemini Moon is VOC* for about 8 minutes before midnight on Friday night. She will enter Cancer before you awake on Saturday morning (4:52 AM EDT). Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SOLITARY PHYSICAL EXERTION
Saturday, March 24, 2018:
Before you awake on Saturday morning, the Moon has entered sweet, sensitive Cancer. Generally speaking, the Cancer Moon encourages us to create emotional security within our chosen or biological families. This is not without complication this weekend. The Sun has only been in Aries for a few days and we are just adapting to this assertive, impulsive self-centered energy which is so at odds with the nurturing nature of Cancer.
At 11:35 AM EDT, the tender Cancer Moon forms a challenging square aspect to the fiercely independent Aries Sun. This is the First Quarter phase of the Moon. Think back to Saturday, March 17th. Did you plant a seed for the Pisces New Moon? Consider what action you can best take now to push that agenda forward.
Along with difficult conversations the Moon has with Mars and Saturn, early afternoon brings a difficult square aspect from the Sun to Mars. You may feel irritable, impatient, and defensive. Find a way to move energy that is healthy. Solitary exercise or hard physical work can help. It is best to be on your own, the energies are simply too inclined to irritation, frustration or even resentment.
The Gemini Moon is VOC* in the wee hours of Saturday morning. She will enter Cancer before you awake (4:52 AM EDT). Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

TENDERNESS ENDS THE WEEK
Sunday, March 25, 2018:
I’d like to tell you that Sunday will be better than Saturday for spending time with loved ones but I’m not sure about that. Test it out. Pay attention to your ability to stay connected without falling into old habits of power struggles or simple irritation.
If you notice yourself feeling frustrated and are unable to get a handle on it, pull back and keep yourself out of a defensive stance.
By evening, the aggravation should clear up allowing you to connect with love and affection before heading into another week.
Cook a nice meal or bring your loved ones out to a casual restaurant for dinner. Place kindness on the table as a main dish. The weekend has not been easy, end it on a note of sweet tenderness.

UNIQUE FRIENDS – PROGRESSIVE IDEAS
Monday, March 12, 2018:
You’re likely to begin Monday morning with serious ambitions and deliberate plans for accomplishment, courtesy of the Capricorn Moon. However, you may need to prepare yourself to release any tight hold you have on those expectations.
At 11:36 AM EDT, when the Moon makes contact with Uranus, you may be surprised at how easily you lose the focus that felt so solid at the start of the day. Don’t expect that focus to return but don’t let it cause any great concern either.
At 6:45 PM EDT, the Moon enters progressive Aquarius, encouraging new perspectives and progressive thinking.
Prepare for an interesting, potentially socially engaged evening. Find something unusual to do, spend time with your most unique. unconventional friends.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 11:36 AM EDT until she enters Aquarius at 6:45 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

ILLUMINATE HOPE
Tuesday, March 13, 2018:
Tuesday continues to bring us face to face with the anxiety or excitement of differing points of view. Keep your mind open and try to see things from different perspectives. It is important that we do what we can to understand how others view the world.
Venus, the planet of love and beauty, forms a First Quarter Square to restrictive, determined Saturn on Tuesday morning. This will hold us in its grip for several days. Venus joined with Saturn on December 25, 2017, beginning a cycle of stabilizing or restructuring love and beauty. Now, at the first square between them, it is important to consider what actions you can take to move forward with this cycle. Is this a reference to love, money, creativity, beauty in your life? How can you bring more maturity to this issue? Perhaps, you have been avoiding reality in some way. Look clearly and take practical action to grow up and love more deeply.
Another important transit today involves a lovely, flowing trine aspect from the Sun to Jupiter. The cycle between them began on October 26, 2017, shortly after Jupiter entered Scorpio. We are just now seeing the deeper, more profound gifts that will ultimately be bestowed through the cycle that began at that time (think #MeToo).
With Jupiter’s retrograde in Scorpio, dirt is still being excavated in order for deep growth while expansive understanding begins to illuminate the deeper issues of ongoing misogyny. Jupiter offers us hope.

SHARE IDEAS
Wednesday, March 14, 2018:
The Moon continues through independent, unconventional Aquarius on Wednesday. This is basically a quiet but friendly and engaging day.

The Beloved by Andrew Pavlovsky via Wiki Media

You should be able to see situations and other people from a new and unusual perspective. Take advantage of this. Go ahead and engage your mind in progressive, humanitarian thinking. Gather with others to share ideas. Aquarius gives us an opportunity to see outside of the restrictive boxes we generally find ourselves in.
You may discover that you are able to open your mind to areas of thinking that have not been available to you in the past. Go there, explore new, unusual, rebellious, and even revolutionary ideas. Share those ideas and listen to what others are sharing as well.

SENSITIVITY AND EMPATHY
Thursday, March 15, 2018:
By the time you get going on Thursday, the Moon has entered passive, dreamy Pisces. Wednesday brought a relatively quiet day with a focus on unusual and unique thinking patterns, courtesy of the Aquarius Moon. Thursday brings a relatively quiet day as well but we have traded the unusual thinking for a deep sense of emotion, empathy, and compassion.
Earlier in the week, it became necessary to face reality in your financial situation and your love life. While the Moon is in Pisces, you will be less inclined to face reality, longing to engage in imagination, music, and mystical pursuits. Don’t lose track of reality but allow yourself to swim in sweet dreams a bit on Thursday.
The Aquarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:33 AM EDT until she enters Pisces at 6:12 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

THE DREAM HAS TEETH
Friday, March 16, 2018:
The desire to stay in dreamland will likely continue on Friday as the Moon moves through idealistic, poetic Pisces. However, with both Venus and Mercury now in Aries, the dream may have teeth and more determination behind it than you may realize. You want to reach out and grab what you long for and are less inclined to sit on the sidelines looking on wistfully.
With the Moon in Pisces (along with the Sun and Neptune), your emotions bring you to levels of deep sensitivity. Boundaries between yourself and others dissolve in clouds of empathy and compassion.
You will not, however, dissolve into a puddle of inaction as your sensitivity can easily engage anger or aggression if you see mistreatment of any kind. You will not only feel for the underdog but you will go to bat for him or her.
Powerful Aries energy will keep the dream from Pisces season alive.

PISCES NEW MOON – PLANT A SEED OF COMPASSION – THEN GO DANCING
Saturday, March 17, 2018:
Saturday begins with a Pisces New Moon at 9:12 AM EDT. Perform your New Moon ritual late on Saturday or, better yet, on Sunday.
At 12:40 PM EDT, Mars, the planet of action enters Capricorn, joining Saturn and Pluto in this serious, authoritative sign. Mars is considered to be in its exaltation in orderly, steadfast Capricorn, as the sign helps to contain and subdue the fire of Mars. This is a powerful, level-headed, and self-controlled position for the planet that rules anger, male sexuality, and war.
Even so, it may be a rough road as he meets with both Saturn and Pluto between now and when he enters Aquarius on May 15th (that is the same day that Uranus enters Taurus).
At 2:56 PM EDT, the Moon leaves any softness behind and enters Aries. The evening may feel a bit volatile… use that energy… make love or go out dancing; release any pent-up energies that may feel stressful in your body.
The Pisces Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 9:12 AM EDT until she enters Aries at 2:56 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

~ New Moon Ritual ~
Sunday will be the best day to plan and implement your New Moon ritual. Keep it simple. First, take a moment to write down what changes you wish to create or increase in the upcoming Moon cycle. For this Pisces New Moon, set an intention regarding something intangible related to you imagination, compassion, spirituality, or inspiration.
If you know what house in your birth chart holds Pisces, it will help you clarify where creativity or inspiration is ready to manifest. For example, if Pisces is in your 1st house, set an intention of expressing the most sensitive side of your personality. If Pisces is in your 4th house, set an intention to bring space for spiritual exploration into your home, set up an altar. With Pisces in the 7th, the intention may be to meet more mystical people or begin a spiritual path with your partner. In the 10th, you may see the need to be more sensitive to your coworkers or to bring something elusive to your business or career.
If you don’t know what house is involved, simply go with your intuition regarding the area of life that needs to grow through the expression of compassion, sensitivity, and empathy.
Have two candles available for the ritual; light the first candle to represent yourself, just as you are in this moment. Light the second candle as an aspiration of what you intend to create. Each day, take a moment to focus on yourself as you light the first candle. When you light the second candle, focus on drawing to you what you are choosing to create as you bring the two candles closer together. Do this each day and at the Full Moon in two weeks, you will bring them fully together and acknowledge the result of what you have created.
The Pisces New Moon suggests that you plant a seed of empathy, mysticism, and poetic whimsy.
Share this ritual with your friends and loved ones.

THE URGENCY OF THE LIFE FORCE
Sunday, March 18, 2018:
Waking up on Sunday will feel very different from how you felt when you awoke on Saturday. Remember, that the Moon sets the emotional tone for the day as it moves through the Zodiac, spending approximately 2.5 days in each sign. The change from a Pisces Moon to an Aries Moon is fairly dramatic.
With the Moon in Aries, you will notice that your instinctual reactions speed up and you may feel edgy and restless. You have a powerful desire to take action. This is no lazy Sunday! Certainly, it is not the day to stay home resting or watching movies.
You may feel the need to follow a spark that thrusts you forward into an individual task or action. You may want to take off on your own for a bike ride or to ski down a mountainside. Engage your physical body in action. This is how you will feel the best.
There is a sense of urgency with this Moon sign, watch the temptation to be overly impulsive. You may feel invincible but please retain some amount of caution… and enjoy the feeling of being alive!

“For all its complexity, however, astrology remains fundamentally simple. It offers a time-honored system of symbols that sum up key aspects of human life while providing profound insights and practical guidance.” ~Anne M. Nordhaus-Bike

DEPTH AND INTROSPECTION
Monday, March 5, 2018:
At 8:23 AM EST, the Moon enters deeply personal and introspective Scorpio. You may prefer to spend the day alone contemplating deeply intense issues of a mysterious or private nature. If you must work on Monday, you may find it easy to discover what is at the root of any workplace mysteries.
This is a good day for searching out what is below the surface or, conversely, a good time to hide issues that are best kept undercover. You may know better than usual how to ask the right questions to get to the root or to evade questions asked of you. Days with a Scorpio Moon are not days of casual conversations or connections. Everything seems deeper, more profound, and with more significant meaning.
The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:19 AM EST until she enters Scorpio at 8:23 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
Mystical Pisces season is about to end with Mercury and Venus entering Aries on Tuesday. You can expect less emotion and more action.

SET THE DREAM ASIDE – TAKE ACTION
Tuesday, March 6, 2018:
By the time you awake on Tuesday, Mercury has entered assertive, action-oriented Aries. The dream state of the past month is broken and it is time to face the mental and intellectual activity that has been brewing below the surface. Mercury has been in Pisces since February 17th, encouraging passive and imaginative thought processes.
Now, it is time to put the words on paper or speak them aloud. If you have had things to reveal but the time has not seemed right, you are moving closer to the tipping point now. Mercury will remain in Aries until May 13th, with Mercury retrograde beginning on March 22nd.
Evening brings lovely Venus into Aries as well. The dream and the fantasy break as you know it is time to face reality. Get clear on your individual values, take the steps necessary to make your relationship and your finances work over the coming months. All that has been put on the back burner throughout the Pisces season is now ready to push forward.
The powerful, private Scorpio Moon forms a lovely trine aspect to both dreamy Neptune and the Pisces Sun throughout the day. Life has a gentle flow even as words, thoughts, and communications come more directly and easily.

SEEK NEW DIRECTIONS
Wednesday, March 7, 2018:
Both the flow and the ability to take action continue into Wednesday with a tiny touch of the dream still intact. It is not always easy to release our most lovely fantasies.
At 5:03 PM EST, the Moon enters Sagittarius, lightening your emotional nature and assisting in forward motion. Spend the evening with folks who engage your thinking and your spirit in looking forward to new directions.

Spring by John Reinhard Weguelin via Wiki Media

Consider new perspectives and new directions. What do you want to learn? Where do you want to travel? Who do you want to understand that you currently don’t? Ask questions, get curious, and don’t get stuck in your own already stale thinking. Look at where your life is stuck and move the dial in a new direction.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:55 AM EST until she enters Sagittarius at 5:03 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

RE-EXAMINE WHAT HAS BEEN EXCAVATED SINCE OCTOBER
Thursday, March 8, 2018:
Late on Wednesday night, the Sagittarius Moon forms an easy trine to Mercury, helping Thursday morning to begin with a simple sense of intellectual growth and stimulation. Your mood is likely to be social, friendly, and upbeat. Sagittarius is a mutable fire sign, suggesting physical vitality and ease of adaptability.
Study and curiosity come easily. You will want to socialize with acquaintances who have a variety of perspectives. You will be bored with the same old stories, preferring to find new directions and see the world through the eyes of others.
Sagittarius encourages us to learn through travel and the experience of other cultures.
At the end of the day, (11:45 PM EST), Jupiter stations retrograde at 23° Scorpio. Consider what has been being excavated, explored, and expanded in your life since Jupiter entered Scorpio in early October. Watch how individuals and the culture continue to work through the issues of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements. Examine where you’ve/we’ve been and how best to proceed when Jupiter moves forward on July 10th.

CREATE SPACE FOR AN EXCITING EVENING
Friday, March 9, 2018:
At 6:20 AM EST, we reach the 3rd Quarter Moon. This is a stressful square aspect formed between the Pisces Sun and the Moon in Sagittarius. It is time to let go of something that has been developing over the past 3 weeks.
Both Pisces and Sagittarius are mutable signs, this is not anything that you would consider high stress as mutable signs are adaptable, not making much of a fuss even if they don’t necessarily agree with each other. The letting go should be almost effortless.
The Sagittarius Moon joins with assertive Mars and forms a lovely trine with Uranus on Friday evening, offering a potentially exciting evening. This is not a night to stay home alone. Get out into the world to engage with others who will make your heart sing.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 9:28 PM EST until she enters Capricorn at 4:52 AM EST on Saturday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

BUILD YOUR FUTURE
Saturday, March 10, 2018:
By the time you awake on Saturday morning, the Moon has entered mature, authoritative, and disciplined Capricorn. Throughout the day, there are stressful aspects from the Moon to Venus, Mercury, and, finally, a conjunction with Saturn at 9:05 PM EST.
You are likely to be strongly aware of a renewed need to build structure and planning around the dreams that you have recently been swimming in. You are newly aware of the limitations of time and the reality of aging. You are motivated by this pressing and sobering reality. Consider the structures that you need to build to create the future you desire.
As the day progresses, Sunday morning’s aspects come clearly to the table. It is a mixed bag indeed but first, you will face a challenging square from Mercury to Saturn (2:00 AM EST, Sunday morning). You may feel that it is hard to make yourself understood and the seriousness of your mind and thinking may feel heavy and even depressing. Saturday evening is best used in a serious study, preparing for, planning, or building for your future.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 9:28 PM EST Friday night until she enters Capricorn at Saturday morning at 4:52 AM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

COME OUT OF HIDING
Sunday, March 11, 2018:
Sunday continues with the cautious, authoritative Capricorn Moon and the lingering Mercury square to Saturn. Life does not feel inconsequential or light. However, there are powerful and exciting aspects being formed early in the day. Yes, continue to plan for your future even as you allow excitement and empowerment to move you.
At 7:22 AM EST, Mars forms a smooth flowing trine aspect to Uranus, pushing you into intense excitement or powerful anxiety. Which will it be? Make a plan that allows space for excitement. Consider what began in February of 2017 and see how this weekend’s excitement or anxiety stems from that. Watch and consider cultural and political changes. Expect the unexpected.
This may offer new perspectives as you move forward with confidence in your most progressive ideas and goals.
At 7:56 PM EST, the Sun, still in Pisces, forms a lovely sextile to powerful Pluto offering the opportunity to attract and hold attention with your innate sense of self. Find and build confidence as you look into corners of your personality that have long been hidden.

BEGIN A DREAM JOURNAL
Monday, February 19, 2018:
In this highly sensitive, Piscean season, the Moon in Aries isn’t quite certain how to behave. Normally, Aries simply moves ahead with determination and a ‘take no prisoners’ attitude. However, with so many planets in Pisces, even he has to concede to slowing down a bit.
Luckily, Mars in Sagittarius lends a hand and at 10:18 AM EST, with a trine aspect between the Moon and Mars. Once that occurs, you’ll have more than enough energy and strength to move ahead. Take advantage of this opportunity, push forward to develop something deeply internal and highly spiritual.
By evening, with a square from the Moon to Pluto, pay attention to any interpersonal power struggles. Breathe fully, hold your line of integrity solid, but otherwise, avoid engagement in difficult relationship dynamics. The stress will pass, if you simply move aside and allow anger and power play to slide off your back.
With such a pile-up of planets in Pisces, this is an excellent time to begin a dream journal, a meditation practice or make a new connection with poetry, deep spirituality, or a soft, sensitive connection with the natural world. Allow and invite intense compassionate love to flow through you.

A LOVELY EVENING FOR CONNECTION
Tuesday, February 20, 2018:
Tuesday morning begins with some stress and anxiety as the assertive Aries Moon joins with defiant Uranus. This potentially aggressive energy is not welcome in the highly emotional environment we are currently involved in.
Don’t allow frustration to push you into conversations or responses that you know will not serve anyone involved. Allow any morning aggravation to roll off your shoulders, knowing that the afternoon will bring calm.
At 2:12 PM EST, the Moon enters patient, level-headed Taurus. Taurus plays very well with Pisces and with four planets (Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Neptune) and Chiron in Pisces, this makes for a happy evening.
At 6:17 PM EST, the Moon forms a lovely sextile aspect to the Sun. This aspect gives the opportunity for a lovely evening of deep compassion, connection, and love. On a more practical note, this is a lovely evening for cooking a beautiful meal, lighting candles, or giving a massage.
The Aries Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:11 AM EST until she enters Taurus at 2:12 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

A LOVELY MOMENT IN TIME
Wednesday, February 21, 2018:
As the Moon continues her path through steadfast Taurus, she brings delight to the group of planets (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Neptune, and Chiron) moving through poetic, dreamy Pisces.

Woman in Pink Dress and Black Collar by Jozsef Rippl Ronai via Wiki Media

In the midst of the day’s pleasure, Venus joins with Neptune, this conjunction begins a new cycle of transcendent beauty and love. This is a highly romantic connection. Your heart is open to deep levels of sensitivity and unconditional love. Be aware, however, that this combination also suggests that clear vision is not necessarily possible. You may indeed be wearing rose colored glasses that prevent you from seeing reality.
Happily, at 2:23 PM EST, Mercury wakes you from an unrealistic dream by forming a sextile aspect to Saturn. This sets your feet on the solid earth and you are able to see the long term potentials of whatever or whoever is sweeping your heart away.
The evening provides a good mix of reality and fantasy based levels of romance and love. Embrace this lovely moment in time.

SLOW DAY – MENTALLY ACTIVE EVENING
Thursday, February 22, 2018:
Thursday morning continues with the same lovely energies that were activated on Wednesday. The Moon continues through sensual, dependable Taurus without encountering any major bumps along the way. Don’t get too comfortable as the steadfast energy of Taurus ends on Thursday evening.
At 7:08 PM EST, the Moon leaves earthy Taurus behind to enter versatile, restless Gemini. With the Moon in Gemini, you will want to spend the evening talking, thinking, and making active mental connections. It may be a challenge to slow your mind down enough to get to sleep Thursday night. Your mind will want to keep moving, exploring, and gathering information. Watch documentaries. Gather information about things you know nothing about. Give yourself time to slow down for sleep.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:46 AM EST until she enters Gemini at 7:08 PM EST. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

ALLOW DISCOMFORT AND MOVE AHEAD
Friday, February 23, 2018:
The First Quarter Moon (in restless Gemini) occurs as the day begins, suggesting that you look back at the seed you planted at the New Moon last week. Consider what action you need to take to move the process you began forward.
The Moon in chatty Gemini is at odds with the depth and emotional sensitivity of the Pisces Sun. Throughout the day, the Moon forms a challenging square aspect to the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Neptune. You may feel uncomfortable, conflicted, and confused. Don’t take any of that discomfort too seriously. It will pass if you let it.
There is no point in trying to go deeply into intense study or research but you will be able to get a lot accomplished if you focus on catching up on any errands and emails that you have been putting off. Don’t be hard on yourself. Allow life to be exactly what it is in this moment.

A LIGHT-HEARTED DAY
Saturday, February 24, 2018:
The confusion and discomfort of Friday will not follow you into Saturday. That is the good news!
Plan a day of conversations, curiosity, and time spent with light-hearted friends. This is not a day for heavy conversations but for light banter and fun. Get curious about the world around you and explore ideas and simple activities. Get together with friends to play board games. Don’t take yourself too seriously.
At 10:06 PM EST, the Moon enters inward, intuitive Cancer. You will feel yourself and those around you slow down. Sunday will be a very different day as you will be more interested in sentimental nostalgia and time with family and familial loved ones.
The Gemini Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:58 PM EST until she enters Cancer at 10:06 PM PST Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

PUSH THE PAUSE BUTTON
Sunday, February 25, 2018:
You may wake on Sunday with feelings of discontent as an unsettling square aspect is formed from Venus to Mars at 7:01 AM EST. This puts your desire to take action in conflict with your deeply held values. This challenge may manifest within the dynamics of your closest relationships.
Just as you are grappling with this interpersonal discomfort, Mercury joins with Neptune, suggesting the need to slow down and allow your instincts to direct the course of action. I would suggest that you SLOW DOWN, seek balance, and don’t assume anyone has the correct answer to any dilemma that shows up. Go ahead and push ‘pause’.
At 12:45 PM EST, the Sun forms a lovely sextile aspect to Saturn, settling down the anxiety and difficulties of the morning. This presents you with an opportunity to build and stabilize a solid structure to stand on.
The Moon continues through Cancer throughout the day, pay attention to your deep need for comfort and to those who need your nurturing attention. Approach all interpersonal dynamics with kindness and support.
