EXPRESS GRATITUDE FREELY
Monday, September 3, 2018:
Getting yourself into the groove of work may be easier than is often the case on a Monday morning. The week begins with the Moon in lighthearted, talkative Gemini Moon.
At 8:58 AM EDT, Mercury (ruler of Gemini) forms a positive sextile aspect to Venus, the planet that represents love, all that we find beautiful, and what we deeply value.  Begin the day with acknowledgment toward those whose support you in your life. Make a special call to a friend simply to express gratitude. You will be amazed at how your mood is buoyed and the whole week will develop a positive tone. Go inward, find and express gratitude to everyone you encounter. Yes, even the teenager bagging your groceries or the barista at your local coffee shop.
All forms of positive self-expression and communication is supported and will create ripple effects of self confidence into the rest of the week.

WARM LOVING SECURITY
Tuesday, September 4, 2018:
The Moon enters sensitive, family oriented Cancer at 8:03 AM EDT and most of you are likely spending the day with coworkers rather than family or loved ones. If you have challenging relationships at your place of work, keep in mind that even the crankiest person there is someone’s child and loved one.
At 12:22 PM EDT, with an opposition from the Moon to Saturn, it is likely that someone will get their feelings hurt. This could be expressed in tears or anger. Be a soothing influence and understand that Moon transits pass very quickly if we don’t hold on to them.
This may be a good day to bring cookies or a good healthy salad to share with your coworkers. When the work day is done, get home and plan a loving domestic evening. Encourage your partner and children to help prepare a delicious meal. Eat together even if you rarely do so. The Cancer Moon seeks to create a warm and loving environment that feels secure, make space for that today.

The Gemini Moon is VOC* from 2:38 AM EDT until she enters Cancer at 8:03 AM EDT. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

BRING YOUR MIND INTO FOCUS
Wednesday, September 5, 2018:

Весенняя_аллея via Wiki Media

On Wednesday, the Moon continues through intuitive, inward Cancer, she is also waning with each passing day as she moves toward the New Moon at the end of the week. It is good to be gentle with others and with yourself as you are more touchy than usual as the Moon losses light.
At 10:38 PM EDT, Mercury, the planet that represents your busy mind, thought processes, and communications finally follows the Sun into Virgo. The mind is ready to move beyond the heat of Leo and into the analytical world of Virgo.
You will notice that your ability to do detailed, meticulous, and efficient work is greatly increased. Your mind is now able to slow down and pay attention with humility and precision to what you choose to focus on. This is a good time to bring your attention to an intellectual project that you haven’t been able to focus on since before Mercury was retrograde last month.
Mercury will remain in Virgo until September 21st. Take advantage of this for all productive and analytical work.

MOVING SLOWLY FORWARD WITH RELIEF
Thursday, September 6, 2018:
Thursday morning brings our attention to Saturn who has been retrograde since mid-April. Saturn is a great teacher, insisting that we take our responsibilities seriously and work on long term goals. Saturn brings attention to restrictions and the reality of the lives we have created.
What house in your chart holds Capricorn? The restriction and cynicism in that area of your life can now slowly begin to move forward. Now, you can once again begin the process of steady forward motion. You may feel that much of the hard work of the past 4 ½ months is about to pay off.  You may also feel an internal sigh of relief.
At 9:55 AM EDT, the Moon enters Leo, releasing us from the intense sensitivity of the past few days. You may find yourself wanting to take a creative risk, to allow others to see a part of yourself that you normally keep under wraps. Allow your most sparkly, childlike side to shine through. You may be surprised at how good it feels to simply relax into fun and play. If you have children in your life, get down on the floor or out in the yard and play like puppies.

The Cancer Moon is VOC* from 8:43 AM EDT until she enters Leo at 9:55 AM EDT. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

INNOVATION, DREAMS, & EXPRESSION
Friday, September 7, 2018:
Friday offers an unusual day to bring forth your most innovative plans and ideas.  Your thinking is solid and mature and yet you are able to engage ideas that on first glance may seem anything but practical or level-headed. A configuration called a Grand Trine in stable Earth signs is in play this week (peaking on Friday) between Mercury (thoughts), Saturn (stability), and Uranus (innovation).
Allow yourself to explore new ideas with the intention of bringing them into reality. You can expect to be surprised by the positive response you get when you are vulnerable with unique ideas and plans. Share your ideas and listen to what others are thinking. Prepare to be surprised.
However, with an opposition between the Sun and Neptune during the afternoon, things may not be as clear as you wish. Hold onto your excitement for now and spend some time in lazy daydreams. Allow space within the day for the Leo Moon to express playfulness and joy.

STRESS OR PASSION
Saturday, September 8, 2018:
You may wake on this Saturday morning thinking about a fun social day, but the day may have ideas of its own when the Moon leaves Leo behind to enter tidy, meticulous Virgo. Settle in and get comfortable with more practical activities. You may want to do the grocery shopping, laundry, and house cleaning instead.
If the interest in socializing persists, perhaps you could plan a lovely, perfectly presented dinner for friends. Be aware of the tendency to over analyze everything you do. You may have a hard time allowing ‘good-enough’ to be good enough. Don’t let perfectionism stop progress. Work on projects and issues that will benefit from paying particular attention to details.
Mid-afternoon, Venus forms a challenging square to Mars. This could reflect renewed passion in an intimate relationship. However, if your relationship is suffering in significant ways, it may suggest a time of powerful stress between the two of you. This will be in effect throughout the evening and possibly into Sunday morning. Given the option of stress or passion, I suggest you move the dial to PASSION.

The Leo Moon is VOC* from 9:31 AM EDT until she enters Virgo at 10:29 AM EDT. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

PLANT A SEED; PLAN YOUR FUTURE
Sunday, September 9, 2018:
In the early hours of Sunday morning, Venus, the planet that represents our understanding of love and our deepest values, moves into the deep, emotional waters of Scorpio. This will likely transport your heart into buried intensity regarding love or finances. Because Venus will be turning retrograde in the coming months, she will remain in Scorpio until early January 2019 (with a brief dip back into Libra in November).
Sunday afternoon at 2:02 PM EDT brings us to the Virgo New Moon. This is a time to plant a seed of pure practicality. Even with a quickly passing opposition to Neptune, we are not sowing fantasies here. Currently, there are 7 planets in Earth signs (wow), with many of them involved with an Earth Grand trine creating a free unhinged flow of practical energies to create a solid future.
Keep your responsibilities in mind in all that you do. Consider how your need, actions, and conversations are creating the future that you hope for.
It is also significant to consider that along with so many planets in reliable predictable Earth Signs, all the personal & bridge planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn) are moving in forward, direct motion.
Do what is practical and keeps you connected to the Earth and your deepest values. Make plans for the future. Your New Moon ritual will be best performed on Monday. It is good to give the Moon a chance to pull away from the exact conjunction, giving it space to breath.

The New Moon is on Sunday afternoon… do your ritual on Monday!
~~New Moon Ritual ~~
Take a moment to write down the changes you wish to begin, create, or increase in the upcoming Moon Cycle.
Have two candles available; light a candle to represent yourself, as you are at the moment. Light another candle as an aspiration of what you intend to create. Each day, take a moment to focus on yourself as you light the first candle, then light the second candle, and focus on drawing to you what you want to create, bring the two candles closer together.
Do this each day until at the Full Moon, you will bring them fully together and acknowledge the result of what you have created.
The Virgo New Moon suggests that you plant a seed of practicality, humility, and dedication. What project or idea are you ready to dedicate yourself to for the good of all?

* The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
* The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

This will be a very different week from last week and we can expect more ease and simplicity in our personal lives and interactions.

  • We are on the other side of the eclipses. Sigh. Smile.
  • The VOC* Moon periods are very short following last week when we had three full days of that challenging, uncomfortable energy.
  • We have moved away from the stressful, difficult challenge of Mars square Uranus (yet, this will return for a final pass in mid-September).
  • Shortly after midnight on Saturday, Mercury will turn direct! Sigh. Smile.

All in all, this is a quiet week with the Moon starting in Virgo, moving through Libra and Scorpio, and ending the week in Sagittarius. Communications regain clarity and we can begin some of those projects that have been left languishing.

“There is something out there. Astrology is like a game of chess with an invisible partner. We set out the board and the rules, make a move, and then find that the pieces are moving themselves, as if by an invisible hand.”

BE AVAILABLE, OBSERVE, RESPECT, RELEASE JUDGEMENT
Monday, August 13, 2018:
You can expect a quiet day on Monday with the Moon quietly passing through service-oriented Virgo. When the Moon is in Virgo, we watch ourselves and each other a bit more closely as we analyze and try to fix what seems to be outside of the exacting standards we may desire.
Your expectations may be higher than usual as you carefully observe yourself, your relationships, your projects, and the work that others are doing. Try to curb the tendency to be critical of yourself, your loved ones, and strangers. Notice the critical tone in your voice and seek to replace it with understanding and kindness.
Being of true service will relax your internal self-criticism. How can you be of service? What is it that you can offer on Monday that will help others? Focus on being available, observing, respecting, and releasing judgment.

BRING BEAUTY INTO THE WORLD
Tuesday, August 14, 2018:
By the time you start the day on Tuesday, the Moon has entered diplomatic, relationship-oriented Libra. The day may not start as easily as you would like as the Moon squares up with Saturn before breakfast. You or your partner may wake cranky and disgruntled. Let it slide off your back as it will pass easily as long as you don’t engage the issue.
The afternoon and evening should more easily offer the gifts of Libra; the desire to please, engage in social niceties and create beauty. Commit yourself to achieve balance, fairness, and pleasure in all your interactions. It may be difficult to take a stand as it will be far easier to flow with what is presented than to make a set determination.
Find ways to offer kindness and bring beauty into the world.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* briefly from 12:10 PM until she enters Libra At 12:59 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

CREATE BEAUTY, ROMANCE, LOVE
Wednesday, August 15, 2018:
Wednesday will likely be similar to Tuesday, as the morning brings challenges and difficulty that the afternoon releases. The trick is to be careful how you manage the morning.
At 9:52 AM EDT, the Libra Moon forms a difficult square aspect to Pluto. Do your best to manage this potentially deep discomfort on your own. Don’t allow yourself to get pulled into tough interactions or arguments with others, especially an intimate partner. Don’t pull them into those difficulties either.
The good thing is that this is a simple Moon transit and will not last long. Spend a few hours alone, don’t say anything that doesn’t pass the test of: Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind?
The afternoon and evening should provide much ease and simplicity. Enjoy social gatherings, romantic connections, or spend time creating beauty and art.

DEEP PASSION AND DETERMINATION
Thursday, August 16, 2018:
By the time you start the day on Thursday, the Moon has entered the intensely deep waters of Scorpio. Once again, the challenging part of the day comes early and is eased by the afternoon.
At 9:27 AM EDT, the Moon opposes Uranus. You may receive unexpected or unwelcome news, whatever it is, don’t let it throw you off kilter. By the time things shake out, it won’t be as much of a problem as you may initially expect.
With the Moon passing through Scorpio, you are naturally inclined to examine the deeper (even the darker) side of life and love. We are able to understand that in order to grow we must allow parts of ourselves to transform through destruction and regeneration. Open your heart to deep passion, determination, and powerful transformative change.
The Libra Moon is VOC* briefly from 3:56 AM EDT until she enters Scorpio at 4:55 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

THE POWER TO TRANSFORM
Friday, August 17, 2018:
Friday brings us another day with the Moon in the Fixed Water sign of Scorpio. Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) are stable, have a concentration of focus, and can be quite stubborn. Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) are deeply sensitive and emotional. Scorpio is very deep and focuses its powerful attention on the hidden emotions that many folks prefer to avoid. When the Moon is in Scorpio, we are able to feel more deeply and are able to observe our hidden emotional motivations with great clarity.
It may be easy to be suspicious of the motivations of others but it is best to focus this energy on yourself. Get to the bottom of something you would generally rather not explore. Under this Moon, you can look deep enough to transform an issue that has dogged you for years. Digging deeply and facing profound and difficult hidden truths has the power to transform.

AN EVENING FOR FUN
Saturday, August 18, 2018:
Very early Saturday morning brings us to the First Quarter Moon. Think back to last week’s New Moon. What was the seed you planted at that time? What did you want to grow out of the powerful energies of that Solar Eclipse? It is important to go back to that consideration and take a practical concrete step forward to bring that seed to reality.
Mercury forms a lovely sextile aspect to Venus on Saturday providing a great opportunity to have a significant conversation with a partner or loved one that will support your relationship deeply.
Jupiter is also lining up for a flowing trine to Neptune that we will feel over the next few days. This is a sweet, feel-good vibe.
At 12:45 PM EDT, the Moon enters Sagittarius bringing us to a lighter emotional state. This is an evening to let loose and have fun. Let go of all the deep contemplations of the past few days, kick up your heels. Go on a road trip, dancing, play, have fun!
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* briefly from 11:06 AM EDT until she enters Sagittarius at 12:45 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

MERCURY STEPS FORWARD
Sunday, August 19, 2018:
I always love writing the post on the day Mercury turns direct. I know that everyone is waiting and is happy to greet this day. So, here it is! Shortly after midnight on Saturday, Mercury stationed direct. It will be a few days yet before it is up to speed but this is the day of the shift.
Were you able to use the time to catch up on projects and communications? Take time now to develop a list of projects and communications you want to get started between now and the next Mercury retrograde (November 16, 2018).
The other lovely thing that the cosmos offers us on Sunday is a flowing trine aspect between Jupiter and Neptune. This is a romantic and utterly sweet contact. You are apt to have your rose-colored glasses firmly affixed. Love seems soft and dreamy. Enjoy this sweetness. Go with it and share love and beauty, softness and dreams!

Hi, Folks!
Please keep this in mind, when the Moon is VOC this week, she isn’t fooling around! Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, she remains VOC ALL DAY LONG!! Along with Mercury & Mars Retrograde, these are days to keep a low profile and not seek accomplishment. This would be a great week to be on vacation or otherwise resting!

LEAVE YOUR CREDIT CARDS AT HOME
Monday, August 6, 2018:
Get your day started early on Monday because we soon have three full days of no Moon activity at all! The Moon is VOC* all day long on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Your best bet will be to take advantage of the days when the Moon will support activity and accomplishment! Monday brings the lighthearted, friendly energy of the talkative Gemini Moon to the table, allowing easy engagement with others.
Monday evening, Venus happily leaves stuffy Virgo behind to enter agreeable Venus ruled Libra. Venus represents love and beauty and, while in Virgo, she may have been overly critical and a bit prickly. In Libra, she has an easier time relaxing into the moment and finding beauty and value in cooperation and diplomacy. You may notice yourself and others more interested in compromise, diplomacy, and romance.
With the Sun forming a challenging square to Jupiter, you may feel a pull towards overindulgence. This may be a good day to leave your credit cards at home and pay careful attention to any promises you make. Don’t give away the store.

FRUSTRATION AND EPIPHANIES
Tuesday, August 7, 2018:
The generally talkative Gemini Moon makes no aspects today suggesting some frustration as all that you want to say may fall on deaf ears.
As Uranus turns retrograde, it focuses its attention bringing further frustration and impatience to the areas of life that don’t seem to be moving forward as quickly as you would like. A sense of limits and restrictions bubble under the surface. Practice mindfulness, patience, and allow epiphanies to surface. You may be surprised by an unexpected occurrence or communication.
At 8:32 PM EDT, Venus in Libra forms a lovely trine to Mars in Aquarius. This opens communication, ideas, and the movement of energies between folks. Spend time in public to enjoy. Follow up over the coming days on any possibilities that show up now.
The Gemini Moon is VOC* from 3:55 AM EDT until she enters Cancer after midnight – ALL DAY. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SWEETNESS REPLACES RESTRICTION
Wednesday, August 8, 2018:

Wednesday morning brings us the Moon in protective, loving Cancer. The Cancer Moon wants to create security within the context of family, biological or chosen. However, difficulties arise with an opposition between the Moon and Saturn just as you begin the day. This suggests a difficult challenge in getting your needs met. Others may simply not see you as clearly as you would like to be seen. You may feel unloved and restricted in showing love.
By bedtime, things feel better as Mercury joins the Sun, providing clarity where it has most recently been missing.
This is followed by a Grand Water Trine formed between the Moon, Jupiter, and Neptune. This soothes all the challenge of the day and offers a great time for sweet late night lovemaking or at the very least delightfully beautiful dreams.

SOBER REALITIES
Thursday, August 9, 2018:
Thursday offers a day for emotional rest as we settle down following an early morning confrontation between the Cancer Moon and powerfully disruptive Pluto.
Following a rocky start to the day, try to make an effort to manage your emotions with rest. Allow what was said or done over the breakfast table to be released; don’t hold onto negativity. Mistakes happen and we all respond in ways that are inappropriate at times. Forgive others as you hope others will do the same.
It is important to approach the end of the day with a clean slate if possible.
At 9:33 PM EDT, Venus squares Saturn. This evening and Friday will likely present challenges to your relationships with others. You may feel sobered by the realities of your situation regarding love, relationships, and finances. Perhaps, it is a good time to schedule a serious clarifying conversation with a loved one. Don’t implement the conversation now in the Dark phase of the Moon but begin to accumulate your talking points and clearly approach the situation over the coming days.
The Cancer Moon is VOC* From 7:20 AM EDT until shortly after midnight (ALL DAY) when she enters Leo. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?
Friday, August 10, 2018:
It may take a bit of effort to get out from under some uncomfortable dreams in the night but moving forward, they will fade into the distance. On Friday morning, the Moon will be in lighthearted, playful Leo. However, it is the Dark phase of the Moon with the New Moon coming on Saturday, this brings a sense of waiting and endings, not so lighthearted after all.
You can expect Thursday’s square between Venus and Saturn to continue into your experience on Friday. You may find yourself dissatisfied with your partner, friends, or your paycheck. If the things that bring value and meaning to your life seem to not fit you properly at this time, examine what needs to be released in order to bring new growth in the coming months.
Do you need to have a clarifying conversation with your partner, lover, or friend? Do you need to ask for a raise? Don’t take action now but get clear on what needs to change to bring more satisfaction and love into your heart.

GENEROSITY AND OPEN HEARTED LOVE
Saturday, August 11, 2018:
Saturday brings the final eclipse of the season. This is a partial Solar Eclipse occurring at 18 degrees Leo at 5:46 AM EDT. The Solar Eclipse happens at the New Moon.
Think about this as a New Moon on steroids. Remember, that each New Moon, we plant a seed. What do you want to begin now that will develop over the coming months? Consider what house Leo is in your chart. What seed do you want to plant in that area of your life?
Don’t neglect your New Moon ritual (although wait until Sunday) do give it added weight as whatever seed you plant will be activated for a much longer period of time. The Moon (once again) is VOC ALL DAY! Rest, don’t take any actions that you want to amount to anything as they will simply not develop in the way you would wish.
This is a complex day with Mercury and Mars still retrograde, the New Moon, our last Eclipse, and the Moon VOC*. Spend time developing your understanding of how to best use the expressive nature of Leo. Express generosity and open-hearted Love.
The Leo Moon is VOC* From 5:58 AM EDT until she enters Virgo at 11:59 PM EDT – All day! Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

A PRACTICAL FLOW
Sunday, August 12, 2018:
Just after midnight on Saturday, the Moon enters tidy, meticulous Virgo. This is a Sunday to settle in for practical activities. You may want to spend the day creating constructive plans for the upcoming week. Do the grocery shopping, laundry, and house cleaning.
A Grand Earth Trine is formed in the late afternoon from the Virgo Sun to Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Capricorn. This is a very pragmatic day where all the preparations you do for the upcoming week will go smoothly and easily. Enjoy a flow of orderly functional work.
At the end of the day, Mars (still retrograde) backs into Capricorn, adding to the practical Earth centered vibe. Take advantage.

This is a very different week from last week. There is simply not too much going on in the heavens. And that, my friends is cause for celebration!
Yes, we still have Mars moving retrograde along with Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto.
We are still working through the issues of how we misuse our direct drive and aggression, individually and collectively.
For the most part, we are simply managing the Moon and her ongoing conversations with all the planets day to day as she goes from one sign to the next.
This is the last week with the Sun in Cancer as it heads into Leo on Sunday!
Ahh, Joy! I confess that Leo season is my joy!

SET THE STAGE FOR ACCOMPLISHMENT
Monday, July 16, 2018:
The week begins with the meticulous and productive Virgo Moon forming a lovely sextile to Jupiter, the planet of growth and expansion. You want to be useful and to properly analyze any situation in order to make improvements. This is a great morning to accomplish tasks quickly and easily.
Later in the afternoon, when the Moon opposes Neptune at 4:24 PM EDT, you may find yourself feeling uncertain about how to proceed. Perhaps, it is simply time to end the work day and take yourself to a movie or meditation center, write poetry, or daydream by a body of water.
Take time before sleep to make a list of all that you want to accomplish over the course of the week. A trine aspect from the Moon to powerful Pluto will set the stage for accomplishment.

CREATE BEAUTY AND LOVE
Tuesday, July 17, 2018:
Tuesday begins with a sextile from the industrious Virgo Moon to the Cancer Sun. This is a ‘feel good’ aspect and its energy will rest with you until the Moon enters Libra at 3:43 PM EDT.
Because the Moon is VOC* during that time, focus your attention on common tasks; don’t try to dive into complex projects of a long-term nature. Clean out your inbox, do the laundry, or clean out the car.
At 3:43 PM EDT, the Moon enters Libra, offering an evening that supports romantic or diplomatic endeavors, socializing, or creating art. As you interact with others, it is good to remember that while the Moon moves through Libra we all desire companionship and beauty.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* from 6:49 AM EDT until she enters Libra at 3:43 PM EDT.
When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have a significant future impact.

REST WITH PLEASURE
Wednesday, July 18, 2018:
Wednesday offers a day with very little planetary activity as the Moon gently flows through charming, pleasant Libra. One thing to remember about Libra is that being an Air sign it is fundamentally an intellectual charm that is important here. What we want at this time is companionship, friendships, social alliances, and intimate gatherings. We want to engage with others in ways that provide cooperation, diplomacy, and compromise. Enjoy cultural activities, go to a museum, a concert, or a small gathering with compatible others.
It may not be easy to take a stand, be decisive, or speak up for yourself. Let yourself off the hook. Rest in the pleasure. There is always another day to take action or speak up.

FINDING BALANCE
Thursday, July 19, 2018:
Thursday brings us to the First Quarter phase of the Moon. This puts the Libra Moon at odds with the Cancer Sun. The Libra Moon wants to make things look pretty and nice while the Cancer Sun is more interested in the messy world of emotional bonding.
Libra does not want to get its hands dirty and Cancer is more than willing to do so in the name of love. The theme of the day is found in balancing those two distinct impulses. How can the powerful sensitivity of Cancer feed the Libra need for diplomacy and smoothe social graces? Hold these ideas as you balance the day.
At 9:12 PM EDT, the Moon stops looking for peace and harmony and leaves Libra behind and enters the deeply emotional, dark waters of Scorpio. Head to bed with thoughts of powerful connection with your partner or delve into the dark sphere of your dreams.
The Libra Moon is VOC* from 3:53 PM EDT until she enters Scorpio at 9:12 PM EDT. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have a significant future impact.

CONNECT DEEPLY
Friday, July 20, 2018:
Friday morning may start out a bit rough as the Scorpio Moon forms a challenging square aspect to Mars, in his retrograde path. Avoiding arguments over the breakfast table may be the most difficult part of your day. Consider where anger and frustration have damaged your relationships and your credibility. Keep in mind that Mars’ retrograde provides an opportunity to explore, dissolve, and eliminate toxic anger.
The day smooths out and offers an evening that is made for close and deep connections with close friends and lovers. With a sextile to Venus and a conjunction to Jupiter, you are looking for love that expands and fills your heart on a deeply profound level. Don’t settle for light social fare. Connect deeply for powerful soul growth.

“Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.” ~ Og Mandino

GO DEEP TO FACILITATE

HEALING
Saturday, July 21, 2018:
The general mood of each day is reflected by the transits of the Moon. On Saturday, there are no other transits perfecting so we can simply consider the Moon’s movement through Scorpio. Scorpio gets a bad rap as it is a sign that has a profound need to go deep and explore the inner dark corner of the psyche.
While the Moon is going through Scorpio, you may be more aware of those things that you generally keep out of sight and all the things that polite society would rather we kept hidden under a rug. However, Scorpio suggests the importance of bringing what is hidden into the light, to be excavated, and to be brought forth for healing.
The things that Scorpio hides are usually the more unacceptable parts of our lives and personalities but remember that many folks hide their most precious gifts as well. Whatever you keep hidden is far closer to the surface on these Scorpio Moon days. Look inside, what you find needs light and healing. Provide that to yourself. Show love to the parts of yourself that most need healing.
At 4:01 PM EDT, when the Moon squares Mercury, it is best to think twice about sharing your deep inner thoughts and motivation with others. Keep your own counsel.

THE SUN ENTERS OPEN-HEARTED, GENEROUS LEO
Sunday, July 22, 2018:
Sunday begins with a sextile aspect from lovely Venus to expansive Jupiter. The cycle between Venus and Jupiter is a cycle of expanding our deep values. This cycle began in November 2017 and is now wrapping up in order to step onto a higher plane in January 2019. Consider what new step regarding love, money, art, or beauty you’d like to begin then. Now is the time to begin contemplating what will need to be released even as you begin to explore ideas for the next cycle. Think of these cycles as spirals going upward, ending one is really just taking the step to the next level as you spiral upward.
However, the biggest news comes at 5:00 PM EDT when the Sun enters generous, enthusiastic Leo, the sign that Leo rules. Here, we reach the height of Summer. Everyone understands the strength and life-giving force of the Sun. Feel the warmth and remember that life can not exist without the Sun. Now, is the time to absorb the rays and heat of the Sun that will carry you through the times with less light and warmth.
While the Sun is in Leo, folks take vacations and relax their grip on schedules and rules. There is a playfulness in the air. Think of the carnivals and fairs that happen at this time of year. Over the coming month don’t forget to express generosity and play.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* from 5:18 AM EDT until she enters Sagittarius at 6:13 AM EDT. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have a significant future impact.

“We use astrology most constructively and creatively when we gain from it a sense of what is possible for us at the highest levels of our potentialities. Seeing that, the challenges is then to keep our eyes open to life itself, to be able to respond appropriately when some event or change of circumstances…”

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
*The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
*The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

REVISIT YOUR DREAMS
Monday, June 18, 2018:
Monday’s practical Virgo Moon forms a flowing trine aspect to defiant Uranus early Monday morning allowing your emotional self to explore new ideas and ways of getting your needs met.
Later in the afternoon, she forms another sweet trine aspect to level-headed Saturn bringing a touch of reality to the conversation.
With the Moon in Virgo, you will notice yourself drawn toward practical activities. You will want to organize and analyze everything you do. You may have a hard time allowing ‘good-enough’ to be good enough. Don’t allow perfectionism to stop progress. Work on projects and issues that will benefit from paying particular attention to details.
Neptune turns retrograde at 7:27 PM EDT and will remain so until late November. This suggests a need to revisit, explore, and examine your understanding of your deepest imagination, your dreams, and your spirituality.
You will likely sleep through this but just in case: The Leo Moon is VOC* until she enters Virgo at 4:41 AM EDT on Monday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

EXPRESS VULNERABILITY
Tuesday, June 19, 2018:
The Virgo Moon keeps you chugging along doing practical chores and getting things done efficiently throughout the day.
However, during the mid-afternoon, Mercury in sensitive Cancer forms a flowing trine to expansive Jupiter. Conversations may move into unusual depths and the vulnerability expressed may surprise you.
Go with your gut instincts. Listen carefully and trust yourself to know how to respond. Perhaps, you are being called to help someone in deeper need than it appears. If you are the one expressing vulnerability, trust yourself in knowing who to share yourself with. Allow words to open your heart.

GRACE AND DECORUM
Wednesday, June 20, 2018:
Challenges arise with the Sun and Moon at odds (1st Quarter Square phase) at 6:51 AM EDT. It can be difficult to know what action to take but you know it is time to move forward with the understanding you gained since the New Moon last Wednesday.
At 8:30 AM EDT, the Moon enters diplomatic Libra, showing you that the best move forward is to face any issue with dispassionate objectivity. Libra asks that you put cooperation and an attitude of refinement ahead of other considerations. Face internal and external work with grace and decorum.
Since May 20th, the Sun has been in inquisitive, curious, fast-talking Gemini. Enjoy this one last day of Gemini. Thursday morning at 6:07 AM EDT the life-giving Sun enters nurturing, inward Cancer.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:51 AM EDT until she enters Libra at 8:30 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SUN ENTERS CANCER – PROTECTIVE MAMA BEAR
Thursday, June 21, 2018:
At 6:07 AM EDT, the Sun enters the intuitive, domestic sign of Cancer. I want to take this opportunity to clear up a misunderstanding I often see expressed about Cancer. Everyone seems to know that Cancer is sensitive, nurturing, and tender. However, many folks seem to conflate sensitivity with weakness. Please, make no mistake, Cancer is a powerful sign in its own right! Think the nurturing mother bear! Don’t ever mess with Cancer assuming she will not strike back!
While the Sun is in Cancer, you may feel more insular as your attention is drawn inward to your domestic life. Your focus turns to build deep roots and a sense of belonging.
Thursday starts the Cancer season with some clear challenges as an opposition forms between Venus and Mars. It may be hard to appreciate what you have as you keep looking over your shoulder for what you think you would prefer.
Even the cooperative Libra Moon isn’t in the best state to help the situation as she forms hard aspects with Mercury and Pluto. Watch your words and tendency to get hot under the collar. Remember, before you speak ask yourself three things: Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? If everything that comes out of your mouth passes that test, you will do fine!
This is unlikely to have much impact on Thursday but the Libra Moon is VOC* after 9:34 PM EDT Friday morning. She will be VOC* until 3:11 PM EDT on Friday when she will enter Scorpio. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

A QUIET DAY FOR CONTEMPLATION
Friday, June 22, 2018:
The Libra Moon is very quiet throughout the day being VOC* until entering Scorpio at 3:11 PM EDT. This is a good day to avoid making decisions or starting new projects, it is a good day for rest, meditation, dreaming, or enjoying vacation.
Once the Moon enters Scorpio, the reset button is hit and you can move forward more easily. You will be called to seek intensity, passion, and deep emotions of all kinds. You have a strong belief that knowledge is power, therefore, you are highly motivated to find out what makes people or situations ‘tick’.
Friday evening is underscored by the Moon opposing Uranus, exposing not only what is intense, deep, and hidden but also what is unusual or eccentric in some way. When the intense and the unusual come together, they always dig up something of interest. Keep your eyes open and enjoy.
The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) until she enters Scorpio at 3:11 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

IS IT TRUE? IS IT NECESSARY? IS IT KIND?
Saturday, June 23, 2018:
You can anticipate waking on Saturday still in the throes of the Sun sextile Uranus. You may carry the intensity of unusual family-centered dreams with you into the morning.
Unfortunately, the quirkiness and possible fun of that transit will likely be overshadowed by Mercury opposing Pluto at 5:26 AM EDT. Try to sleep late and then spend time alone with your thoughts and ideas. Mercury and Pluto can be used in deep contemplation, reading, and writing.
Don’t try to have significant or sensitive conversations, particularly with family members today. It would be too easy to end up in difficult power dynamics with things being said that are best left unsaid.
Once again, remember, before you speak ask yourself three things: Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Make sure all that you say on Saturday passes that test.
When the intense Scorpio Moon joins with joyful Jupiter at 5:11 PM EDT, you can let down your guard a bit and make connections that can end in a lovely nighttime of dreamy connection when Moon trines whimsical Neptune at 10:23 PM EDT.

UNDER THE SURFACE
Sunday, June 24, 2018:
Sunday is by far the easier day of the weekend. The deeply profound Scorpio Moon makes nice contact with Pluto and Mercury, encouraging any deep work necessary to sooth any ruffled feathers from Saturday.
After 10:00 AM EDT, we enter another long VOC Moon allowing time to simply be with all that has occurred over the weekend. Rest, relax, allow yourself to have no agenda or expectations.
With the Moon in Scorpio, this relaxation is not light and airy, there is a depth that you may go to as you focus your mind and allow emotions to bubble to the surface. Under that surface, there is much transformation and powerful healing work occurring. For now, just rest and allow it to work its magic under the surface.
The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 10:00 AM EDT until she enters Sagittarius early Monday morning (12:30 AM EDT). When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.
