Astrolore’s Weekly Astrology Weather September 17, 2018 through September 23, 2018

The most significant happening of the upcoming week is the third and final difficult square aspect between aggressive Mars and revolutionary Uranus.
This energy invokes images of intense hurricanes, typhoons, and gas explosions. Yikes, sound familiar?
When Mars and Uranus connect, the energies are unexpected, shocking, and over-the-top. You may experience this as extreme anxiety or excitement.
Pay attention to where you are experiencing your own version of a typhoon or hopefully some less destructive sudden change. Stay awake and aware. Pay careful attention to how you respond to the shifts that occur without warning.

GOALS AND AMBITIONS
Monday, September 17, 2018:
With the Moon entering Capricorn at 7:08 AM EDT, and joining with Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) at 12:25 PM EDT, this is not a day to pursue trivial issues. Monday is a day to work hard on your personal goals and ambitions.
Take your work and what you want to accomplish seriously. Your life has consequences and you have important goals to set and things to successfully complete. Monday is not a day for daydreams or lack of focus.
If you have been drifting or wasting your abilities, now is the time to get clarity on what actions are necessary to change your course. You can make a decision now. One simple step can start a new path.
The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* until she enters Capricorn at 7:08 AM EDT. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

HECTIC INTENSIFICATION
Tuesday, September 18, 2018:
Tuesday brings us to the peak of the challenging square between Mars and Uranus. Keep your eyes open and accept what arrives; do not fight against any change you encounter, no matter how sudden or unexpected.
Mars represents aggression, action, and the power of will. Uranus represents defiance, intensification, and revolution. Look in your own chart to the houses that hold Aquarius and Taurus. Those are the areas of life that will likely require acceptance as you deal with intense anxiety or possibly excitement.
The powerful arena of news, politics, and weather is certainly ripe for this dramatic energy. Watch as these issues continue to shift and change with unusual speed and intensity.
The Moon continues through authoritative, hard-working Capricorn. This will help you to maintain maturity and a focus on reality in the midst a potentially hectic day.

WELCOME OBJECTIVITY WEDNESDAY EVENING
Wednesday, September 19, 2018:
Here mid-week, the Moon remains in Capricorn until late evening. When the Moon is in Capricorn, it is important to exercise maturity, caution, and responsibility in all your interactions. Early in the day, the Moon forms a soothing trine to the Sun and Mercury (both in efficient, analytical Virgo).
At 7:52 PM EDT, the Moon enters Aquarius and you can breathe a sigh of relief as your perspective moves toward objectivity.
Allow for wild, innovative thinking in the hours before sleep; seek insights, genius ideas, and a humanitarian perspective. Your emotions will not get in the way as you will be able to set them aside and view your life from a more detached viewpoint. You are more interested in the plight of humanity than in your own, sometimes bothersome, emotional state.

Wednesday may turn out to be the most productive day of the week. Stick with ongoing projects in the afternoon as you don’t want to start anything new with the Moon VOC after 1:10 PM EDT.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* from 1:10 PM EDT until she enters Aquarius at 7:52 PM EDT. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

LISTEN TO DEVELOP UNDERSTANDING
Thursday, September 20, 2018:
The Moon is in innovative, unconventional Aquarius all day on Thursday. Seek out people you don’t generally engage with. It is easy to spend our lives with people who think, look, and vote just as we do. Seek to do it differently.
Take time to deeply listen and make an effort to understand others; this will help you clarify your own values and views. Seek out people of a different race, sexuality, gender identification, age group, nationality, political affiliation (yes, even that). Listen. We are all human and we all have valid reasons for our proclivities. Widen your interest, look to a more expansive or humanitarian perspective. Love all.
Mercury joins with the Sun (9:51 PM EDT) bringing a great need to communicate. Include others in your awareness, do not get stuck in self-concern, and involved only with your own interests. Share your words with an open understanding and mind. Maintain a logical mind; seek clarity. Listen.

COOPERATION BUILDS OVER THE COMING DAYS
Friday, September 21, 2018:
The Moon remains in Aquarius on Friday offering you an objective view of your situation and the folks around you. This should be an easy day to allow your most unique expression to emerge.
You may feel a need for freedom from people or situations that in any way restrict your individuality. This will change moving forward as Mercury and the Sun move into Libra.
Enjoy where you are at now, as this is a day to spend with your most unusual friends or the folks in your social circle who stretch you intellectually. Your interests are less focused on yourself and your closest loved ones as you are more interested in what is happening collectively in the larger world. When the Moon is in Aquarius, it is easier to open your mind to new ways of viewing the world.
Enjoy time with others, engage in intellectual conversations about the state of the world, consider what you can do, with the support of like-minded others, to help alleviate suffering in the world.
Mercury leaves perfectionistic Virgo and enters cooperative Libra at 11:39 PM EDT, and the Sun will follow the Moon into Libra on Saturday. Mercury represents our thinking and communications. We may notice that we are more interested in the coming weeks in cooperation and the creation of harmonious connections.
The Aquarius Moon is VOC* from 1:14 PM EDT until she enters Pisces at 8:27 AM EDT on Saturday. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SUN ENTERS LIBRA AT THE AUTUMNAL EQUINOX
Saturday, September 22, 2018
Saturday’s Pisces Moon will help you go with the flow, allowing you to rest in the exploration of the softer, more sensitive side of yourself. Utilize Pisces’ watery spaciousness to move you with music, poetry, meditation, or other spiritual contemplations; use your imagination and take the opportunity to dream.
Saturday, September 22nd marks the Autumnal Equinox (also called the September or Fall Equinox). This is the astronomical start of autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and the Vernal Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Sun enters Libra at 9:54 PM EDT, the moment of the Autumnal Equinox. At the Equinox, the Sun crosses the celestial equator. In the coming days, you will notice (in the Northern Hemisphere) a strong shift as the nights get longer and the days shorter.
Remember, that as the Sun enters each Cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn), the seasons change.
Moving into the colder season we become more aware of the significance of partnerships, and the importance of creating cooperative, harmonious relationships. These considerations will occupy you a great deal over the coming weeks.

The Aquarius Moon is VOC* until she enters Pisces at 8:27 AM EDT. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

EFFORT – ACTION – REST
Sunday, September 23, 2018:
Mercury, now in Libra, encounters a challenging conversation with authoritative Saturn early on Sunday afternoon. There may be misunderstandings between you and a loved one. Don’t jump to conclusions; ask questions, listen and allow patience and understanding to grow. It may take time and effort but will be well worth it.
By evening, as a trine forms between Mercury and Mars, you are able to communicate effectively and take action on your new understanding. This is a day to embark on a planned action to resolve communication issues in your most significant relationships. You can move your partnership or friendship in a more positive direction with sincere willingness and effort.
The Moon continues through Pisces, a Mutable Water sign offering passive, adaptable, and deeply emotional energies. Sunday will be a good day for meditation, spending time on water, allowing yourself to be engrossed in imagination, watching movies, or making music. Enjoy rest and sweetness along with the relationship and communication work of this day.

Hang onto your hat!
This is another powerful week as the intensity and emotional temperature shifts as impulsive Mars and the all-powerful Sun leave the sensitive waters of Cancer behind to enter the hot furnace of Leo!
Over the course of the week, Mars and the Sun form challenging square aspects to Uranus, the planet of shocking and revolutionary change.
This is a week of potential wild energies and sudden illuminations. What will be revealed?
Sunday also brings a Leo New Moon, this is a time to plant a seed for enlivening your life with playful generosity and creative self-expression.
All of the VOC* Moon times happen in the wee hours of the mornings, therefore, they will have little, if any, impact. 🙂

Are you up against a difficult decision, or are you questioning your current life, love, or career direction?
An astrological consultation with an open-hearted, competent astrologer will clearly show you the larger picture at play, the universal directional path.
I am taking new clients again and would love to meet with you.

MAINTAIN CALM
Monday, July 17, 2017:
By the time we awake on Monday morning, the Moon is in steadfast, peace-loving Taurus.
At 10:33 AM EDT, Venus, the planet of love and value, forms a square aspect to mystical, dreamy Neptune. When Venus and Neptune come together, regardless of the aspect formed, you are likely to feel dreamy with a lack of focus and ordinary boundaries lose their edge. This can be a romantic and compassionate connection.
The cycle between Venus and Neptune began in the second week of January 2017. What did you begin at that time that now requires you to take a step forward in order for the dream to come into full view by late September? It is unlikely that you will have much time to linger in that inspired romantic space.
In the background, a problematic square aspect between Mars and Uranus has been building, coming to full completion at 9:36 PM EDT. This is an extremely explosive and unpredictable connection.
The cycle between Mars and Uranus which began in late February 2017, is a cycle of defiant action or aggressive independence. Expect the unexpected and anticipate that it will bring with anger, frustration, and even impulsive rage.
Don’t neglect your meditation practice and do what needs to be done to remain an example of calm and comfort to those around you.

GRATITUDE AND JOY
Tuesday, July 18, 2017:
Any damage that occured on Monday should be able to be smoothed over when assertive Mars forms a smooth, flowing trine aspect to Chiron, the planet of healing at 9:22 AM EDT. Look for unanticipated courage to do what must be done to move beyond an unhealed wound or source of shame.
The day only gets better from there. Perhaps, you are able to see the difficulties of Monday as necessary for the shift that needed to occur.
At 4:08 PM EDT, Venus, the planet of love and beauty, forms a flowing trine aspect to Jupiter, the planet of expansion and awareness. This opens your mind to a renewed sense of gratitude and generosity. With the Moon in Taurus, we delight in deep reverence for our lives and are able to fully embrace simple pleasures and joy.

MAKING FUTURE PLANS
Wednesday, July 19, 2017:

Ionian Dancing Girl by John William Godward via Wiki Commons

By the time you wake up on Wednesday morning, the Moon will no longer be in reliable, patient Taurus, as she enters inquisitive Gemini at 3:31 AM EDT. Over the next few days, while the Moon is in Gemini, you are able to articulate your feelings, perhaps, at the expense of actually feeling them.
Adding to the theme of communication, Mercury, the planet of the perceptive mind, forms a flowing trine aspect to stabilizing Saturn at 3:15 PM EDT. Whatever you need to say, you will find an attentive ear and your ability to hear what is spoken gains clarity.
Trust that this is a good time to say what must be said and that you will find the right words and others will listen. This is a perfect time for serious conversations at work or in personal situations. This is also a great afternoon for joining with others to create future plans.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) for a very brief period of time while you sleep, from 2:12 AM EDT until 3:31 AM EDT when she enters Gemini. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

AMP UP THE FIRE
Thursday, July 20, 2017:
At 8:19 AM EDT, assertive Mars joins with Mercury and enters playful exuberant Leo. Mars, the planet of action, has not enjoyed his stay in tender, domestic Cancer where he has been since June 4th. He is delighted to leave the element of emotional Water behind to enter his natural element of active Fire.
We are about to arrive at a much more dynamic part of Summer as the Sun moves into Leo before the end of the week. The height of beautiful Summer (in the Northern Hemisphere) is upon us!
Keep an eye on the underlying developments in our culture as the Sun forms a difficult square aspect to Uranus, the astrological wild card at 8:25 PM EDT! Expect the unexpected. If you have planets between 26 and 30 degrees of any of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn), you can expect some intense excitement or upheaval in your personal life. None of us will escape the intensity of this day, regardless.
Do what you can to maintain stability and calm for yourself and those around you. Meditation, self-care, and kindnesses are key.

JUST A BIT OF NOSTALGIA
Friday, July 21, 2017:
By daybreak on Friday, the Moon has moved into intuitive, moody Cancer. The emotional restlessness of the past few days gives way to a sense of longing for home, family, and domestic safety.
While the Moon is in Cancer, we can become quite nostalgic. You may find yourself taking a trip down memory lane, feeling homesick, or longingly remembering the past. Allow yourself a bit of this sentimentality but don’t get stuck there. Your life exists in the here and now and in all that you create for the future.
The Gemini Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) for a very brief period of time while you sleep, from 1:41 AM EDT until she enters Cancer at 4:10 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

DEEP SUMMER – SUN ARRIVES IN LEO!
Saturday, July 22, 2017:
Saturday begins with a cranky Cancer Moon feeling pushed against the wall as she opposes coercive Pluto at 8:50 AM EDT. Please remember that Moon transits pass quickly if you do not engage them with your actions. Sleep late and offer kindness in whatever form is best suited to yourself and those around you. Spending the morning on your own may be your best bet.
Everything changes when the full illumination of the powerful Sun pushes forward into its own sign of Leo at 11:15 AM EDT. As the self-protective energy of Cancer gives way to the extravagant, playful, open-heart generosity of Leo, observe the shift in yourself and others.
During the Sun’s time in Leo (until August 22 when the Sun will enter Virgo), you will be called toward grand gestures and want to be acknowledged for the most unique expressions of your personality. This is the time of year to shine, to show your best side in all things; generosity, performance, and playfulness summon you forward. Enjoy.

LEO NEW MOON – PLANT A SEED OF GENEROSITY AND JOY
Sunday, July 23, 2017:
In the wee hours of Sunday morning, the Moon follows the Sun into creative, proud Leo. With six of the ten major planetary bodies in Fire signs, you will surely feel the heat!
At 5:45 AM EDT, we come to the beginning of a new lunar cycle. The New Moon occurs at 0° Leo. This is the time to plant a seed of creativity, generosity, and full self-expression. Wait and perform your new moon ritual on Monday or Tuesday.
For your Leo New Moon Ritual, set an intention regarding fun, empowerment, and play. This is the perfect time to begin to create an ideal vision of the highest self-expression that calls you forward.
If you know what house in your birth chart holds 0° Leo, it will help you clarify where to direct your dramatic vitality. If you don’t have that information, simply go with your intuition regarding the area of life that is calling for powerful expression.
Please don’t neglect this simple New Moon Ritual. Take a moment to write down what changes you wish to bring to this area of your life.
Have two candles available for the ritual and light the first candle to represent yourself, just as you are in this moment. Then light the second candle as an aspiration of what you intend to create. Each day, take a moment to focus on yourself as you light the first candle, and when you light the second, focus on drawing to you what you are choosing to create as you bring the two candles closer together. Do this each day and at the Full Moon in two weeks, you will bring them fully together and acknowledge the result of what you have created. Share this ritual with your friends and loved ones. It is more powerful than you may imagine.
Assertive Mars joins with both the Sun and Moon at this time making sure the
Leo the Lion is not in hibernation but in full, roaring glory! Motivation is high and you are unlikely to let anything stand in the way of your desires. Pay attention to kindness and don’t allow assertiveness to enter the realm of arrogance or anger.
The Cancer Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) for a very brief period of time while you sleep, from 2:05 AM EDT until she enters Leo 4:34 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

ANTICIPATION AND REVELATIONS
Monday, October 24, 2016:
Monday begins with a brilliant trine between the extroverted Leo Moon and unconventional Uranus. We start the day with unexpected excitement and anticipation. Unusual and innovative ideas hover around us, waiting for us to pay attention. Follow your curiosity, especially if it is leading in directions that make your heart beat a little faster.
At 4:46 PM EDT, Mercury, the planet of intellect and perception, leaves Libra behind to enter the deep, intense waters of Scorpio. Mercury is moving quickly and will only remain in Scorpio until November 12th. This is a good time to dig deeply and investigate what has been hidden from view. Your focus may be intense, very private, and highly perceptive.
Pay attention to unusual, and potentially dark revelations.
At 11:16 PM EDT, the Moon enters efficient, industrious Virgo after being VOC* all day.
The Leo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 8:21 AM EDT until she enters Virgo at 11:16 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

A LIGHT TOUCH
Tuesday, October 25, 2016:
Normally, the industrious Virgo Moon brings practical hard-working energy to the table.
However, on Tuesday practicality and productivity may be distracted by confusion, misplaced imagination, or even delusions.  At 9:54 PM EDT, Venus, the planet that supports our love relationships and finances, opposes Neptune, the planet that can dissolve what is real in order to develop compassion and inspiration.
You may feel love and romance in the air, but check how much substance is behind it. If you began a love relationship (or some other significant dream) in late March 2016, look at what has developed from it. Money and love can slip through your fingers at a time like this as Neptune dissolves what we hoped would develop into something solid and real. The most significant connections now will be of a spiritual nature. Allow inspiration and allow life to not make clear sense. Hold love with a light touch.
On Wednesday, when the Moon squares Saturn, your feet will land once again on the Earth and you will be ready to face reality.

Wednesday brings clarity after Tuesday’s confusion. You will have the ability to use the practical Virgo Moon for productivity and efficiency without distraction.
Venus, the planet that represents your dearest values of love and resources, forms a sextile aspect to Jupiter, the planet of expansion and good fortune.  Yes, Venus is still engaged with the fantasies of Neptune (from Tuesday’s transit) so you will need to keep your eyes open and awareness fully engaged.
However, opportunities presented now are significant. Do not rush into anything but do not walk away.
Is there a connection to something of beauty that began in the last week of August? Whatever is offered now will require an important step forward during the last week of November.
Bring this energy of expansive love out into the world in any way you are able. Get creative! Take simple actions to show love everywhere you go. Bring coffee to the homeless person on the street. Offer a simple smile to the lonely. Consider how many folks are alone, how many folks long to be seen and acknowledged in even the smallest way. You can make a big difference in the world with your attention and kindness. How many people can you show kindness to on this one day?
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:33 PM EDT until she enters Libra on Thursday morning at 9:51 AM EDT.
Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

SEEK TRUE ACCEPTANCE
Thursday, October 27, 2016:
The sensitive Moon enters social Libra at 9:51 AM EDT on Thursday morning. The Moon in diplomatic Libra encourages us to engage in cooperation, to create harmonious social situations, and to engage in acts of love and beauty. It may not be easy to make clear decisions, as you are likely to see both sides of each situation you encounter.
Given the choice, seek out and create charm, grace, and beauty.
At 12:16 PM EDT, when communicative Mercury conjoins the mysterious Scorpio Sun, you may need to set aside some of that charm in order to be clear and honest in your communications. Do not be too attached to your own opinions; listen to what others have to say.  Really listen; listen in order to understand the fundamental differences between you.
Share your understanding without trying to make others think as you think. Share in order to better understand each other regardless of how different your views. A commitment to true diversity is not always easy. We really do see the world through different filters. Seek true acceptance.
The Moon is VOC* on Thursday morning until she enters Libra at 9:51 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

REMOVE EXPECTATIONS; SET ASSUMPTIONS ASIDE
Friday, October 28, 2016:
Friday begins with the graceful Libra Moon making direct contact with philosophical Jupiter, expanding your belief and generosity in your intimate partnerships or increasing your enthusiasm in the beauty you bring to the world.  The receptive Moon is also in sweet contact with both Venus and Saturn, offering you the opportunity to enrich and stabilize your closest loving partnerships through diplomacy, romance, or aesthetics.
When the Moon squares Pluto at 4:11 PM EDT, you may temporality lose your balance and encounter unwanted power dynamics.  Don’t engage too directly; allow issues of fear and control to pass over without feeling that you need to jump on any bandwagon.
As the day comes to a close, the square from Mars to Uranus (exact shortly after midnight Friday night – this energy will be prominent on Friday and Saturday) will dominate the evening.  Aggressive Mars square unpredictable Uranus can be angry, impatient, and dangerously assertive.
Keep a clear eye, over the weekend, on what is happening on the world stage as well as how you are managing to keep your own equilibrium solid.  Spend time in meditation; do your very best to develop a wider perspective on the world and a grander view of what is possible. What can you develop in partnerships and love if you remove expectations and set assumptions aside. Make the effort to simply discover, understand, and learn to express your own needs and desires.

STABILIZE LOVE & PERSONAL VALUES
Saturday, October 29, 2016:
Saturday we are presented with a powerful day as we continue working with the erratic energy of dynamic Mars square unconventional Uranus (this aspect was exact shortly after midnight).
The Libra Moon is VOC* for the majority of the day enabling some of the challenges that seem significant in the moment to ultimately pass without result.
At 8:44 PM EDT, pleasure seeking Venus conjunct responsible, stern Saturn may well leave you feeling lonely and unappreciated. However, think of this transit as the beginning of a cycle of stabilizing your most personal values, love, sensuality, and resources. Spend time on Saturday determining what beauty and love you want to bring into the world over the coming year. Plant a seed (as you do at a New Moon) that will have the opportunity to grow into mature love and beauty that will sustain itself over the course of time.
Where (in what house) does 14° Sagittarius fall in your chart? It is there that the seed will be best supported by rich soil and sunlight.
At 10:01 PM EDT, the Moon enters Scorpio bringing us into sight of the New Moon on Sunday.
The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:10 AM EDT until she enters Scorpio at 10:01 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC* there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have significant future impact.

SCORPION NEW MOON – VULNERABILITY
Sunday, October 30, 2016:
Sunday begins with a touch of magic as mental Mercury trine elusive Neptune.  Mercury is the planet of our conscious mind, Neptune the planet of dreams, illusions, devotion and idealism. At this time, you can express the more inspired, spiritual, and compassionate side of yourself. This is a wonderful day for music, poetry, or spiritual explorations.
At 1:39 PM EDT, the New Moon is exact at 7° Scorpio.
Please take time to do a simple New Moon ritual.  You will want to complete the ritual after the exact time of the New Moon and within 24 hours.  This Scorpio New Moon brings powerful energy for the development of the expression of deep emotion. Set an intention regarding your ability to share your most powerful vulnerabilities and to hold, with great honor, the vulnerabilities of your loved ones.
Don’t neglect this New Moon ritual.  Keep it simple.  Take a moment to write down what you wish to begin or create in the upcoming cycle.  What do you want to see increase over the coming month?  Have two candles available for your ritual.  Light the first candle to represent yourself, just as you are at this moment in time.  Light the second candle as an aspiration of what you want to create.  Each day, take a moment to focus on yourself as you light the first candle.  As you light the second candle, focus on drawing to you what you are creating, as you bring the two candles closer together.  At the Full Moon in two weeks, bring them fully together and see the results of what you have created.
Share this ritual with your friends and loved ones.

How intense was last week for you? Dealing with the energies of both Mercury and Mars dancing intensely within the dark realm of Pluto certainly provided many of us with a challenging week!

As we begin another week, we are stabilized by the Sun and Mercury, forming trine aspects to Saturn. This should help us stabilize any upheaval that we were left with from last week. Be sure you take advantage of the stabilization offered, as we head into more intensity later this week.
On Wednesday, the Sun enters Leo! Now, we enter the heat of the Summer here in the Northern Hemisphere. On Thursday, Mercury enters Leo as well when we each must find our own voice that truly expresses all of who we are.
Remember, if you have a birthday while the Sun is in Leo you are allowed the full month for celebration! Leo is ruled by the Sun and has the energy of full generosity to live up to. Think of the heat of the Sun and the generosity and expression of growth; that is Leo!
As we head deeper into the week, our anxiety may bring a message to the table as Mars approaches a square aspect to Uranus, which will be exact on Saturday.
Uranus turns retrograde on Saturday as well. This retrograde is bringing some of the intense energy of innovation underground where revolution will simmer until Uranus turns direct in late December of 2015.
On to the dailies!

CONSIDER AND REACH FOR YOUR POTENTIAL
Monday, July 20, 2015:
The week begins smoothly enough with the Moon in Virgo, making lovely aspects to Pluto, Mars, and Mercury throughout the day.
This allows us easy access to powerful energies of accomplishment. If you have physical work to do, the energy should be available to you. If you have intellectual projects or communications that you need to deliver, this should be an excellent day to get those done as well.
Monday favors careful detailed work in all that you do. We are asked to clearly consider our full potential. Take time to make a plan to live up to your potential.
Don’t be too hard on yourself that you have not yet reached where you know you are capable of being. Accept yourself exactly where you are, and only then make a specific plan that will lead you in the direction of the potential you know you have.
This is a day to encourage others, even as you plan your own growth.

FRESH FLOWERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Tuesday, July 21, 2015:
Another day with lovely aspects to the Moon, all which are assisting our emotional nature in maintaining equilibrium.
At 6:07 AM EDT, the Moon goes VOC* in Virgo until she enters Libra at 9:23 AM EDT. This brief VOC* Moon will interfere with very little.
The remainder of the day is lovely with the Cancer Sun forming an easy trine to Saturn at 7:07 AM EDT. We are given another opportunity to teach others the skills we have learned to manage deep emotions.
We have so much Cancer in our environment at this time; it is not easy for some of us to manage the depth of emotions that can occur.
Spend the late afternoon and evening in the pursuit of beauty and harmony. If you want to go out for meal, make sure to spring for the beautiful place, no hole in the wall the matter how good the food is!
Make sure you have fresh flowers on your dining room table and at your desk! The importance of beauty and harmony in your environment is the most important thing for Tuesday.
Keep that in mind as you engage with others; consider kindness in all that you do.

SUN ENTERS LEO; PREPARE FOR PLEASURE & HEAT
Wednesday, July 22, 2015:
If you love the Cancer part of Summer best of all, make sure you take extra time to enjoy this day. Shortly after you go to bed Wednesday night (11:30 PM EDT), the Sun leaves Cancer behind and we turn into the more dramatic, self expressive part of the summer: Leo!
As the Leonine energy envelops us over the coming weeks, it is good to consider the teaching that Leo brings. Leo teaches self-expression. Anyone with a strong Leo component is called to untangle themselves internally in order to fully express their most authentic self.
If you love someone with a strong Leo component, the most important thing is to deeply appreciate the generosity and authenticity of the Leo’s self-expression.
Mercury trine Saturn (1:50 PM EDT) brings stability and clarity to our communications and adding to the already steady atmosphere from Sun trine Saturn on Tuesday.
This is an advantageous time for constructive thought projects of all sorts. Work on a writing project or simply make the time and space to say what needs to be said.

CELEBRATE LEO WITH EXPRESSIVE GENEROSITY
Thursday, July 23, 2015:
Thursday sees Mercury hurrying to keep up with the Sun, entering Leo at 8:14AM EDT. To me, this is the time to go on vacation or have a party!
The Sun is in its glory bringing dramatic warmth, generosity, creativity, and playfulness to the planet and asking that we dedicate ourselves to pleasure. Venus loves her time in Leo!
Venus represents our sensual and romantic attractions, our desire and ability to form intimate partnerships, and what we value and see as beautiful in our world.
With both the Sun and Venus in Leo, we respond to love and beauty with generosity and dramatic excitement.
The Moon in VOC* following a sextile to Jupiter at 2:12PM EDT until she enters Scorpio at 10:07PM EDT.
Enjoy the afternoon or evening with seductive pleasures. Sit in the Sun on your deck with a good book and a cold iced tea! Create an evening of pure pleasure. That may include pampering yourself or others. Show generosity of spirit to everyone you encounter, particularly yourself.

LOVE YOURSELF FIRST
Friday, July 24, 2015:
The Moon will be in Scorpio on Friday, forming the First Quarter Lunar Phase. If you set an intention or began something on the Cancer New Moon (July 15th), this is the day to take a specific action to move that issue forward. Get clear on what that action is to be early in the day so that its execution will not hold you back with indecision.
Please understand that the First Quarter Square is when the Sun (in Leo) forms a challenging Square aspect to the Moon (in Scorpio).
You will want to consider where you are feeling pulled in two very different directions. You may want to express yourself very dramatically or show deep generosity while at the same time feeling the need for privacy and introspection.
The process of balancing these very different energies and respecting each of them as having as valid a place at the table will teach you something important today. Pay attention.
Be aware of how easy it is to project your internal stress onto another. Each direction that pulls you comes from within. Stay aware of the tendency to play the ‘blame game’.
Accept all of who you are, your true authentic self, with all your contradictions. Make space for the outward drama and the private introspection. Love yourself first.

VENUS RETROGRADE: WHAT & HOW DO YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE?
Saturday, July 25, 2015:
Astrologers, and would be astrologers, love to get dramatic about all kinds of astrological events.
On Friday at 5:29 AM EDT, Venus turns retrograde, remaining in retrograde motion until September 6, 2015. Venus was last in retrograde between December 21, 2013 and January 31, 2014.
If you keep a journal, you may find clues to your own response to this reversed energy of beauty and love. As with the Mercury retrograde cycles, I like to look at this from a relatively simple perspective. Venus refers to our ability to form partnerships, our personal values, and our sensual pleasures.
During this retrograde cycle, we must stop and carefully examine our attitudes toward finances, love relationships, our comfort in social situations, and our ability to enjoy our own sensuality, and connection to our bodies.
All of these things must be reevaluated during this time. We do not want to take any steps forward regarding these issues. This is not a good time to start a new love relationship, although it is an important time to reevaluate, and possibly reconnect, with a past relationship. Do not take permanent action in any of these areas; this is a time to simply reevaluate.
When I speak of re-evaluating relationship, it is important to clarify that it is the relationship being reevaluated, NOT the person you are in relationship with.
Early Saturday morning, we also encounter Mars square Uranus. This is an anxiety producing aspect, which is asking us to take a conscious step forward.
Think back to early March 2015; that was the beginning of the cycle between Mars and Uranus. This is a cycle of intensifying physical energy. This energy can be shocking and intense, with a physically active, possibly a sexual component.
Now, you will want to take action on what began in March 2015. Consider what began then and the appropriate action now. Anticipate a surprising event, conversation, or idea that will make the appropriate action clear.
The Moon is in Scorpio throughout the day; allow for a deeply intense day, indeed.

ROAD TRIP FOR EXPLORATION
Sunday July 26, 2015:
By 8:25 AM EDT, we have passed a brief VOC* Moon and then she is in Sagittarius for the next few days. Take a road trip; explore a new place, a new idea, or a new friendship.
Expand your mind through the search for enlightenment or the simple excitement of a party! Your choice: seek out a church, a meditation hall, travel, or go to a wild party.
You can expand your awareness about the higher purpose of your life and your beliefs in any of these arenas.

This week: The VOC* Moon!
VOC* (void of course) refers to the period of time between the final aspect that the Moon makes while in one sign until she enters the next sign. This can consist of several minutes or many hours. These periods are best handled with little expectation of accomplishment. These times are ideally suited for rest and contemplation.
Block off these times in your schedule and avoid making significant decisions or working on important projects during these times. During VOC* Moon, focus on routine tasks. You will be surprised at how this one change will smooth the edges of your life!
Do you have questions about what is appropriate to do or not do during the VOC* moon? A simple way to think about it is to ask a simple question: Do I hope that this activity will amount to something? If the activity does not need to amount to anything, go ahead with it!
If you have an expectation or desire that this action is going to amount to something, do not do it while the Moon is VOC*. Think about the time you bought a book you were certain you were going to love and you never could finish it! Think about the time you bought the perfect article of clothing that you ended up never wearing. That is the Moon VOC*!
Tuesday, July 21, 2015 the Moon is VOC* (in Virgo) following a sextile to Saturn at 6:07 AM EDT, until she enters Libra at 9:23 AM EDT.
Thursday, July 23, 2015 the Moon is VOC* (in Libra) following a sextile to Jupiter at 2:12 PM EDT until she enters Scorpio at 10:07 PM EDT
Sunday, July 26, 2015 the Moon is VOC* (in Scorpio) following a conjunction to Saturn at 5:15 AM EDT until she enters Sagittarius at 8:25 AM EDT.

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
