That we can now think of no mechanism for astrology is relevant but unconvincing. No mechanism was known, for example, for continental drift when it was proposed by Wegener. Nevertheless, we see that Wegener was right, and those who objected on the grounds of unavailable mechanism were wrong.

VOC Moon times are as follows:
Monday:          between 2:00 AM EDT and 4:50 AM EDT
Tuesday:          after 6:04 PM EDT
Wednesday:     until 8:03 AM
Friday:             between 8:05 AM EDT and 10:27 AM
Sunday:           between 10:57 AM EDT and 1:08 PM EDT
The Moon is said to be VOC (void of its course) from the time it makes its final major aspect in one sign until it enters the next sign. This can last a matter of minutes or many hours. When the Moon is VOC*, think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be little or no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have a significant future impact.

I suspect you will be happy to leave last week behind. The week we are entering does not deliver us with full ease but certain difficulties are left behind. For one thing, Mercury is now direct and will remain in Aries until entering Taurus on May 13th.  Go ahead this week and push forward on projects and ideas that have been brewing.

SENSUALITY AND PLEASURE
Monday, April 16, 2018:
What a relief it is to wake up on a Monday morning with Mercury moving forward again. You can step a bit more lightly as you prepare to move forward with ideas, projects, and plans that have been recently on hold.
By the time you begin the day, the Moon has entered stable, consistent, and earthy Taurus. You find yourself motivated by beauty, comfort and calm serenity. You will thrive in an emotional environment of quiet steadfastness. Even as you are able to step a bit more lightly you are also inclined to slow down a bit, relax, and smell the roses.
Speaking of roses, do bring flowers home on Monday evening and spend time preparing a meal that will enliven your senses. Create an environment of beauty that supports sensuality and pleasure.
The Aries Moon is VOC* between 2:00 AM EDT and 4:50 AM EDT when she enters Taurus. Likely, you will be sleeping and this will not impact you in any way. The VOC* simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

EXPAND DEEP BEAUTY
Tuesday, April 17, 2018:
Tuesday brings the lovely activity of Venus, the planet of love and beauty. Wherever Venus goes, she asks us to look at those things in our lives that we love and value most. Venus is currently moving through her favorite sign of Taurus, where beauty is slow and steady. As she makes contact with Jupiter, you may be asked how you can grow and expand beauty, money, and love in your life.
Venus follows up that conversation with a lovely, flowing conversation with powerful Pluto. How can the expansion of deep love or resources and money empower your life’s work? How does slowing down and finding reverence and beauty bring more meaning and depth to your life? This is a lovely contemplation even as the shimmering Moon moves through Taurus accentuating this line of thought.
On Tuesday evening, Saturn, the authoritative teacher, stops to turns retrograde at 9° Capricorn. Over the coming months, as Saturn retraces its steps, you must look clearly where you need to reinforce structural stability. There may be areas in your life that you thought were more stable and solid then they show themselves to be in the coming weeks. Where is Capricorn in your chart?
The upcoming monthly video gatherings will help you understand how to find this information this in your own chart. Contact me if you are interested.
Today do something practical, begin preparing your garden, or balance your checkbook.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 6:04 PM EDT until she enters Gemini on Wednesday morning at 8:03 AM Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

WATCH FOR THE WILD CARD
Wednesday, April 18, 2018:
You can’t expect to feel steady or stable on Wednesday. Is that a bad thing? It depends on your perspective and how willing you are to allow powerful change into your life. Several things come together to bring restlessness and the lack of stability to the table.

Spring by Wiosna Wyczolkowski via Wiki Media

First of all, the Moon has now entered curious but immature Gemini. Your emotions may be moving a mile a minute and pushing you in a variety of directions.
The big news, however, comes with the Sun joining hands with Uranus (the wild card of the cosmos) beginning a year-long conversation between them. This begins an annual cycle of revolutionizing the self. Uranus brings conversations of defiance, revolution, and sudden unexpected epiphanies. Expect the unexpected.
You cannot rest on your laurels anticipating calm and steadiness on Wednesday. Everything seems a bit off kilter and subject to forces beyond your control.
Today climb out of a rut, catch up on your correspondence, research something you are curious about
The Taurus Moon is VOC* until she enters Gemini at 8:03 AM EDT, having very little impact on the day.

SUN ENTERS TAURUS – STABILITY AND LOYALTY
Thursday, April 19, 2018:
As the Sun moves through the zodiac, it brings light and warmth where ever it goes. At 11:12 PM EDT, the Sun leaves assertive, dynamic Aries behind to enter stable, grounded Taurus.
In the Northern Hemisphere, this brings us to a point of spring that is more stable and reliable. We are unlikely to see more snow as we move steadfastly towards the warmth of summer. During this time, newborn plants take root and become more determined and stronger; you also take root in whatever is important in your life.
Taurus reveres loyalty, sensuality, and the love of beauty and precious possessions. Look to the house in your chart that holds Taurus to understand where warm and light are available
I am starting an online video group where, among other things, you will learn to find where things play out in your own chart – send me a note if you are interested!
The Moon is still in Gemini throughout Thursday insisting that you keep your mind busy. If you don’t have a project that stimulates your mind you could get restless and irritable. Keep your mind working even as your body slows down for rest and recovery.

IS IT TRUE? IS IT KIND? IS IT NECESSARY?
Friday, April 20, 2018:
Friday offers a great day to patiently adjust to the dependable stability of the Taurus Sun. At 10:27 AM EDT, the Moon settles into tender, maternal Cancer. The domestic Cancer Moon couldn’t be more pleased to have her cohort, the Sun, in Taurus. She feels supported and taken care of which is very important to the sensitive Cancer Moon.
The Moon makes pleasant aspects throughout the day with the exception of a square to Mercury at 8:42 PM EDT. You may notice a tendency to speak too soon or say too much!
Before saying anything, ask yourself these questions: Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary? Don’t say anything questionable on Friday evening unless you can answer yes to these questions.
Today, call an old friend, cuddle with your pet, and cook for and feed someone you love
The Gemini Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 8:05 AM EDT until she enters Cancer at 10:27 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

CALL YOUR MOM (OR YOUR DAUGHTER)
Saturday, April 21, 2018:
Saturday may be a very moody day as you are highly attuned to your emotional nature with the Moon in inward, domestic Cancer. You want to be loved and nurtured even as you also want to express that kind sensitivity to others.
If you are in a situation where you are taking care of others, you will feel good about it on Saturday. You want to be connected with home, family, and loved ones. You want to connect with your roots and feed and comfort those you love.
The Cancer Moon makes an interesting mix of lovely and challenging aspects which may result in some difficulty keeping those emotions in balance. Watch for emotional outbursts. This is a great day for self-care and self-healing. Show love and kindness to everyone you encounter.
Today, cuddle on the couch, look through old photo albums, or call your mom or your daughter.

SEEK BALANCE
Sunday, April 22, 2018:
Pluto turns retrograde at 21° Capricorn, suggesting that you check your chart for personal planets or points between 19° and 23° of any cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn). If you have planets there, pay attention to the profound shifts that are currently being demanded of you. I would recommend this as a time for a professional astrology consultation. Contact me or another reputable astrologer.
At 1:08 PM EDT, the Moon leaves sensitive Cancer behind to enter vital, expressive Leo. At 5:46 PM EDT, the Moon reaches her First-Quarter phase, squaring the Taurus Sun. You may experience some discomfort in the evening as you attempt to balance the dependable stability of Taurus with the dramatic expressiveness of the Leo Moon.
Today, go out dancing, treat a friend to lunch, or splurge on something for yourself.
The Cancer Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 10:57 AM EDT until she enters Leo at 1:08 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

JUST A BIT LONGER
Monday, April 9, 2018:
You may find yourself breathing a sigh of relief on Monday morning with the Moon having left Capricorn behind to enter Aquarius. With Mars, Saturn, and Pluto all in Capricorn, it is a relief to have the Moon no longer highlighting that serious and sometimes restrictive area as she did throughout last weekend.
As the Sun is nearing the end of its time in Aries, it will engage in powerful conversations with both Pluto and Uranus over the coming days. The wee hours of Wednesday bring a square aspect with Pluto, you will be able to feel this for a day or two before and after the exact contact. Prepare to look deeply and face the challenges that have previously been hidden; don’t turn away from what you don’t want to see. Look it squarely in the eye and prepare to transform how you work with your inner demons.
The Moon is waning toward her New phase on Sunday. Throughout this week, consider those things that need to end in your life or circumstances. Sunday will also bring with it Mercury’s direct station. Hold on a bit longer as next week offers a new start and forward motion.
The Capricorn Moon is VOC* until she enters Aquarius at 2:51 AM EDT. When the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. You will likely be sleeping!

EQUALITY AND FREEDOM
Tuesday, April 10, 2018:
Tuesday’s Aquarius Moon may provide objectivity and open-minded detachment to allow you to remain emotionally removed from the intensity that is lurking just below the surface. Find unusual, like-minded, and interesting people to spend time together.
While emotions are linked to the Aquarius Moon, you may find yourself attracted to all that is unusual and your thoughts may turn to an instinctive desire to work with others to improve the conditions of all. In Aquarius, we look to the future with new and progressive ideas. Ideals of equality and freedom for all propel your thinking into new arenas.
As you head into the evening, you will have to face the darker side of the day. Something is being required of you, perhaps a change in direction, which you would rather avoid. Allow your mind to work with this in dreams while you sleep. Perhaps, clarity will come with Wednesday’s rising Sun.

SUPPORT IS AT HAND
Wednesday, April 11, 2018:
Wednesday brings with it a need to take action on a significant issue or situation. The annual cycle between the Sun and Pluto began on January 9, 2018, with the conjunction between them. This is a cycle of empowerment and intensification of the self, bringing destruction or the growth of your full potential.
Be fully conscious of exactly where you plant your feet on Wednesday. If powerful forces are working against you, look to your loved ones and friends for help and support. Thanks to a lovely trine aspect between loving Venus and assertive Mars, support is near at hand.
Focus your attention on that love and support understanding that you have that very same strength to supply to others. Your loved ones need you more than you may realize. Make yourself available.
At 2:39 PM EDT, the Moon enters sensitive, inspirational Pisces. Whatever the hard issues are, they look less stark and immovable as your emotions are blanketed with an overlay of a gentle, surreal mist. You may seek escape in many ways; avoid drugs and drink; meditation, poetry, music, or film will soothe you.
The Aquarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 10:56 AM EDT until she enters Pisces at 2:39 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

CREATIVE AND EROTIC PLEASURE
Thursday, April 12, 2018:
Thursday wins my vote for the high point of the week. The Moon continues through idealistic, compassionate Pisces offering you an inspired, dreamy view (or at least a softer one…) of your life. You are able to set aside the rougher issues and rest in gentle imagination. It feels good to find comfort behind those rose-colored glasses, at least for a time. Spend time in imaginative, peaceful quietude.
Compounding the intangible passivity of Thursday’s Pisces Moon, Venus forms a lovely sextile to Neptune (the planet that rules Pisces) at 12:26 PM EDT. The afternoon is colored with gentle pastels of love and romance. Sensuality is aroused and you are more available than usual for sensitive, creative and erotic pleasures.  Enjoy.

THE INTERCONNECTEDNESS OF ALL SOULS
Friday, April 13, 2018:
Friday continues with much the same sense of a dreamy, gentle interlude as Thursday. As we come into the dark phase of the Moon (New Moon on Sunday), and with the Moon in poetic Pisces, pay attention to your desire for quiet, internal contemplation.
Over the next few days, spend some time alone with your own sensitivity and depth. Engage with your spiritual practice and spend as much time as possible in nature or meditation. Engage your imagination to create intangible beauty through poetry or other art forms.
Open your heart to deep compassion; allow yourself to feel and soothe the suffering of yourself and others. Suffering is a human condition, it is never ours alone. When you feel it in your own heart, understand that to soothe it in another will soothe it in yourself. Pisces allows us to experience the interconnectedness of all souls.
The Moon enters Aries at 11:26 PM EDT. If you are up late, you may feel the flush of renewed energy otherwise Saturday morning will bring a revival of fortitude.
The Pisces Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 7:28 AM EDT until she enters Aries at 11:26 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

YOUR DAMAGED, BEAUTIFUL HEART
Saturday, April 14, 2018:
Saturday dawns with a surprising renewal of fearlessness, determination, and endurance. The Moon is now in dynamic, energetic Aries.
Sweetening the pot is an early morning, lovely sextile aspect from Jupiter to Pluto. This offers you an opportunity to renew your understanding of your own deep purpose. Consider the circumstances of the past that have brought you to the brink of despair; understand how those times of anguish offer a path toward empowerment and purpose. Release old pain and acknowledge empowerment and deep inner grace.
Another, clearly connected opportunity is offered on Saturday afternoon when assertive Mars forms a sextile to mystical Neptune. You may find that you are more appealing to others than usual or that you encounter others who are downright charismatic. You may simply feel more in tune with those around you. Spend time with others to enjoy lovely interpersonal connections.
Show your damaged beautiful heart and make deep, powerful connections with the equally damaged and beautiful hearts of others. Love with power and grace.

ARIES NEW MOON – MERCURY DIRECT
Sunday, April 15, 2018:
By the time you awake on Sunday morning, Mercury, the planet of thought processes, plans, and communications has stationed direct at 4° Aries. Everyone is happy about this news!!

Please give it a day or two to get up to speed before getting on with new projects, new communications, and new ideas to move forward.
The pushy Aries Moon forms a challenging aspect to Pluto on Sunday afternoon, exacerbating any interpersonal struggles. Do your best to curb tendencies to fly off the handle and this should pass without lasting difficulties.
At 9:58 PM EDT, the Sun joins the Moon at 26° Aries bringing us to the New Moon, However, it is best to do your New Moon ritual on Monday or even Tuesday, after the Moon has moved away from the ‘beams of the Sun’. The growth of the seed you plant will be supported by the wait.
Keep your ritual simple. With this New Moon occurring in Aries, the intention you set will be fiercely dynamic and will require independence and determination.
If you know what house in your birth chart holds Aries, it will help you clarify what intention is needed. For example, if Aries rules (is on the cusp of) your 1st house, set an intention to bring courage to your personality, in the 4th house, set an intention to bring energy and bravery to your family relationships or your home environment. If Aries is in the 7th house, perhaps you need to bring courage to your commitment to a partner, or in the 10th house, you may need to become a more energized leader within your work or business.

If you don’t know what house is involved, simply go with your intuition regarding the area of life that requires determination, leadership, and courage. Better yet, make an appointment for a consultation. Make your appointment today!
~~New Moon Ritual ~~
Take a moment to write down the changes you wish to begin, create, or increase in the upcoming Moon Cycle.
Have two candles available; light a candle to represent yourself, as you are at the moment. Light another candle as an aspiration of what you intend to create. Each day, take a moment to focus on yourself as you light the first candle, then light the second candle, focusing on drawing to you what you want to create, bringing the two candles closer together. Do this each day until at the Full Moon, you will bring them fully together and acknowledge the result of what you have created.
The Aries New Moon suggests that you plant a seed of courage, determination, leadership, and independence.

The cosmos is a vast living body, of which we are still parts. The sun is a great heart whose tremors run through our smallest veins. The moon is a great nerve center from which we quiver forever. Who knows the power that Saturn has over us, or Venus? But it is a vital power, rippling exquisitely through us all the time.
~ D.H. Lawrence

KEEP YOUR HEART ENGAGED
Monday, April 2, 2018:
Monday follows on the heels of a difficult Full Moon, given the Cardinal T-square formed by the Sun and Moon to both Saturn and Mars.
On Monday, the conjunction of Mars to Saturn perfects, offering you a few days to work your way from a deep feeling of inadequacy to hardcore determination. Indeed, there are two sides to this conjunction. You may feel overwhelmed by too much work and effort being demanded of you or you may feel ready to face any obstacle that stands in your way. You may want to simply take the bull by the horns and do what needs to be done through sheer determination and hard work.
However, in every action that you take, remain aware of the impact your actions have on others. It is important that sensitivity and kindness be included in all your work endeavors. It may not be easy but with both assertive Mars and duty-driven Saturn in business oriented, restrictive Capricorn, keep your heart engaged and love on tap.
The Scorpio Moon makes lovely aspects throughout the day helping to keep any stress in perspective.

GROWTH AND CHANGE
Tuesday, April 3, 2018:
Tuesday morning brings a few sweet aspects from the deeply intense Scorpio Moon to Pluto and Jupiter. You feel moved to explore issues of lasting change and growth in your life. With no other planetary aspects to pull your attention away from the areas of your life that you know require change, these deep issues will simmer within your heart throughout the day.
Whenever the Moon is in Scorpio, you know that there will be issues of intensity to manage. You may experience this intensity in the realm of desire, passion, sorrow, or suffering. Nothing will feel impersonal or superficial.
Look deeply at your own power and consider what is required to eliminate old habits and limiting fears. Avoid tendencies to control others through manipulative tactics and if you find yourself full of suspicion, it may well be unwarranted. Wait before making solid determinations.

WATCH YOUR WORDS AND RESPONSES
Wednesday, April 4, 2018:
By the time Wednesday begins, the Moon has entered explorative Sagittarius bringing a bit of levity to the table. Unfortunately, that levity is countered by a cranky square between aggressive Mars and retrograde Mercury. Be careful of your conversations, take time to consider how you are experienced and heard by others.
This aspect may also feel like a common conflict between those things you would like to spend the day on and the responsibilities that call. I wonder how many folks skip work on days like this? Go to work; you are going to feel the conflict anyway so you might as well not waste it on a day off. Just watch your words and your reactions to the words of others.
The evening allows for more productive conversations with a trine between the Moon and Mercury at 8:52 PM EDT. Take advantage of this as Thursday does not allow us to get back to a lighter easier space.

STABILIZE COMMITMENT
Thursday, April 5, 2018:
You can probably anticipate an early-morning argument on Thursday. It could be an actual argument with another person over the breakfast table or it could be an internal struggle with yourself. In the wee hours of the morning, Mercury, the planet of the thinking mind, already somewhat out of sorts in her retrograde motion, forms a challenging square aspect to restrictive Saturn.
The day can only get better from there, and it does!
At 9:36 AM EDT, Venus forms a trine aspect to Saturn, settling and stabilizing your jagged energies following the early morning struggle. You may find yourself more interested in outwardly accepting or acknowledging a commitment that is already solid in your heart.
For the rest of the day, you should be in relatively high spirits feeling seen and appreciated in the world at large.
Remember, that the Moon is in exuberant Sagittarius throughout the day. In your interactions with others, keep your spirits as buoyant as possible and share the good stuff around. 😉

A QUIET EVENING IN
Friday, April 6, 2018:
Friday brings with it a bit of morning excitement or defiance as the extravagant Sagittarius Moon makes contact with Uranus (9:35 AM EDT). You may find yourself feeling inspired or simply unsettled. Roll with it; it will pass quickly. Once that energy settles down, the rest of the morning and early afternoon should be quiet and uneventful.
At 2:02 PM EDT, the Moon enters conventionally ambitious Capricorn. The sign the Moon is in says much about how we experience the ‘feel’ of the day. This may not be what you were expecting or hoping for on a Friday evening. Perhaps, you were anticipating a fun night with friends dancing or otherwise socializing. If you try to enact that plan, you may find yourself wishing you had stayed home or chosen a quieter way to spend the evening.
Make a plan to accomplish something that takes solitary effort and focus for the upcoming weekend. If you wake up on Saturday morning with a plan, the whole weekend will be vastly improved.

CONQUER A SERIOUS PROJECT
Saturday, April 7, 2018:
Make sure that you have a plan for Saturday. The morning will go so much better if you know exactly what you plan to accomplish. This is otherwise not an easy day. The Moon is moving through Capricorn (while highlighting the difficult connection between Mars & Saturn) and this transit can be used for accomplishment and discipline as long as you have a focus. Without a focus, it will be easy to fall into worry, pessimism, fear, and narrow-mindedness.
Luckily, Venus forms a supportive trine aspect to Saturn on Saturday as well. This will support the focused projects nicely and allow you to feel better at the end of the day.
Do you still need to do or finish your taxes? This is the weekend to get that done. If that is not still hanging over your head, plan a project that requires solitary focus and productivity. You will enjoy the weekend much more if you spend it alone with a focus than if you try to engage in social interactions.
Your most challenging task on Saturday will be to find balance and perspective. If you are not able to be on your own for the day, remember to show as much kindness as you can muster. We will all need a healthy dose of self-care and kindness.

OFFER KINDNESS AND RESPECT
Sunday, April 8, 2018:
Sunday doesn’t offer much of a reprieve on the challenges of the weekend. In the wee hours of the morning, the authoritative Capricorn Moon forms a difficult square aspect to the forceful Aries Sun. You may simply feel your style being cramped and what you want isn’t easily available.
You will do well to prepare to stay focused on the project at hand, work is your best bet at this time. Work to stay serious, keep your eye on reality, and stay balanced and steady.
Again, it isn’t easy but offer everyone you encounter kindness and respect.

It does come. But it comes only to the patient, who are there as though eternity lay before them, so unconcernedly still and wide. COURAGE AND EXPRESSION
Monday, March 26, 2018:
Monday begins with a flush of dreamy imagination as Neptune leads the Aries Sun into a new morning. Shortly after sunrise, the Moon, who sets the emotional tone for the day, enters Leo. Following a weekend of tension, as the assertive, independent Aries Sun tried to accommodate the sensitive, inward Cancer Moon, the Moon in Leo brings a surge of enthusiasm and drive.
The pioneering Aries Sun and the dramatic Leo Moon are delighted to be in each other’s company. The Leo Moon wants to be seen and the Aries Sun offers courage and pushes her forward. At 6:14 PM EDT, with the Moon forming a lovely trine aspect to the Sun, the spark, flare, and warmth of fire is unmistakable. Express yourself without holding back, allow others to see the full heat and shine of what is within.
The Cancer Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:58 AM EDT until she enters Leo at 7:45 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

OPEN HEARTED GENEROSITY
Tuesday, March 27, 2018:
The Moon continues through fun-loving Leo on Tuesday, suggesting that you are able to relax into easy self-expression and play. If there are children in your life, consider spending time with them in simple, creative play. Dress up together, dance, remind yourself of the joy of spontaneity.
When the Moon is in dramatic Leo, you are likely to find yourself wanting more attention and affection. This is a great day to practice giving to others exactly what you yourself desire. Give appreciation and affection without expectation and it will come back to you, possibly from a very different direction but it will come. The downside of Leo is self-centeredness, the positive side is open-hearted generosity. Keep this in mind and go for the GOLD.

SEEKING EXCITEMENT
Wednesday, March 28, 2018:
Wednesday brings with it a Virgo Moon (10:30 AM EDT), slowing us down after the previous two days of dramatic emotions while the Moon was in flashy Leo.

However, the transit of Venus to Uranus suggests intense and sudden changes regarding love, money, and creative endeavors. Watch the news, there will be surprises regarding relationships or finances.
On Wednesday, you will go out of your way to avoid boredom as you require more stimulation and excitement than usual. Make sure you set up a plan to accommodate this. If your relationships do not provide the excitement you desire, make a plan and prepare an adventure.
You may feel rebellious and impatient. Remember, this will pass in a few days, don’t imperil your life on a passing whim or restlessness. Watch carefully where you seek excitement through spending, investments, and love. This is the beginning of a one year cycle of invigorating your values through intense excitement and awareness.
Do keep in mind that Mercury is retrograde. Find your excitement in what is already on the table, build on what is already there. This is not the time to begin something out of left field, no matter how shiny it appears to be.
The Leo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:54 AM EDT until she enters Virgo at 10:30 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

MATURE WISDOM AND MASTERY
Thursday, March 29, 2018:
As the Moon passes through efficient, analytical Virgo, you feel driven to accomplishment on Thursday. The excitement of Wednesday may settle with a thud as the Aries Sun forms a difficult, challenging square aspect to responsibility driven Saturn.
On December 21st, just after Saturn returned to his home sign of Capricorn, the Sun joined Saturn, beginning an annual cycle of bringing seriousness and stability to the table. Now, we reach the First Quarter Square between them, directing us to take a stand, take action, and put a stake in the ground. It is time to alert yourself and the Universe that you are serious about your duties and ready to face reality.
Thursday is a great time to consider what your responsibilities are, what holds you back, and how patients on these matters will teach you self-respect, mature wisdom, and mastery. That is what you are learning about whatever issues you face on Thursday. Face your circumstances with determination.

GRACE AND BEAUTY
Friday, March 30, 2018:
The best use of Friday morning is the simple accomplishment of routine, mundane tasks. Don’t try to delve into anything more than that until mid-afternoon. Answer emails, clean out files or clean the refrigerator. 🙂
At 1:52 PM EDT, the Moon leaves industrious Virgo behind to enter graceful, diplomatic Libra. The rest of the day will be good for connecting with others in cooperative social projects.
With the Moon in Libra, it is easy to set your own needs aside as your focus tends to be peace, harmony, and cooperation. You are not willing to argue and are more able to compromise. Peace, calm and beauty are important, and you want to be in polite company, engaging in beautiful surroundings. Enjoy your time with friends.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 12:59 AM EDT until she enters Libra at 1:52 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

DEEPEN OR STABILIZE COMMITMENT
Saturday, March 31, 2018:
Venus, the planet of refinement, sensuality, attraction, and grace has been in the aggressive sign of Aries since March 6th. This placement has not been comfortable for her and she is delighted to now move into her home sign of patient, predictable Taurus. She will happily remain in until earthy Taurus until April 24th.
With Venus in Taurus, we are able to appreciate and indulge in the beauty of the world around us. Venus speaks to us about what we value most in love, money, and beauty. During this time, you are able to engage in open, level-headed conversations regarding these issues more easily. You trust yourself and others to be more patient and diplomatic in managing love and money.
Venus is not particularly passionate in Taurus but more sensual and willing to build structures and stability. You may find yourself more drawn to commitment. You will also notice a marked increase in your tendency to overindulge.
The Libra Full Moon is exact at 8:36 AM EDT. This brings into clear view the results of the seed you planted at the New Moon on March 17th. Look clearly and make adjustments. This is a good time to consciously balance your needs with the needs of the people you are connected with in love and financial partnerships. Deepen your commitments.

COMMITMENT AND POWER
Sunday, April 1, 2018:
Sunday brings some challenges to the Libra Moon as she forms difficult aspects to both destructive Pluto and defiant Uranus. Allow any relationship aggravation to pass without holding on to what someone may have been said in anger or simply off the cuff. Give space and remember that Mercury is retrograde, communications may not be expressed as intended.
Mercury retrograde joins with the Sun at 1:52 PM EDT. There may be conversations, communications, or assumptions that need to be revisited. Step lightly, keep the diplomacy of the Libra Moon close at hand.
At 6:58 PM EDT, when the Moon enters Scorpio, diplomacy is set aside in favor of intensity, depth, and passion. Superficiality won’t cut the mustard. Go deep and bring passion to the table.
Whatever your plans for the weekend, by Sunday night you will have a far deeper understanding of your love relationships, your finances, your commitments, and your relationship to power.
The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:30 PM EDT until she enters Scorpio at 6:58 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

“We use astrology most constructively and creatively when we gain from it a sense of what is possible for us at the highest levels of our potentialities. Seeing that, the challenges is then to keep our eyes open to life itself, to be able to respond appropriately when some event or change of circumstances…”

THURSDAY THIS WEEK – MERCURY RETROGRADE BEGINS

4 Simple Steps To Make the Most of Mercury Retrograde

Here we go again!
Mercury turns retrograde from our perspective (16° ARIES) on March 22nd at 8:19 PM EDT.

Everywhere you turn someone is asking (with trepidation and a touch of fear in their eyes) is Mercury turning retrograde AGAIN??
There is so much unnecessary fear and misinformation around Mercury’s retrograde cycles.
LET’S KEEP THIS SIMPLE

#1. Don’t be afraid, worried, or concerned. Don’t listen to those who are

I know that is easier said than done, but please forget all the terrible things you have ever heard about Mercury retrograde!
There are no astrological conditions that we need to block ourselves from in fear!  We simply need to learn how to make the best use of the planetary cycles as we encounter them!
I honestly LOVE Mercury’s retrograde cycle! During these times, I can finally catch up on all the things that have been left undone since Mercury turned direct after the last retrograde cycle (December 22, 2017).
After years of watching and working with Mercury’s retrograde cycles, I have come to love these brief periods scattered throughout the year. I feel that they are a gift. We simply must know how to use them!

#2.  Get a notebook and a pen – Make a list of everything that you have begun but NOT completed since December 22, 2017

Start with a clean sheet of paper, quiet your mind, and think back over these past few months. On December 22nd, Mercury turned direct at 13° Sagittarius. Since then, he has zipped along through Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and into Aries where he is now turning retrograde at 16°.
Think about what you have been doing since late December. Look through your calendar, your notebooks, your bills, wherever you will find reminders of everything that you have been thinking about and working on since then. Now, carefully make a list of all the things that you have begun but not completed. Dig deep; there are probably more things than you are aware of.
What about that appointment you have been meaning to make? How about the project that you finally tucked into a drawer because you couldn’t find the time to complete it? I am certain that we all have communications that have fallen through the cracks!

#3. Get to work! Accomplish what is on this list! Only what is on this list!

Once you have this list, it is easy to follow the perfect plan for the next three+ weeks. Mercury turns direct once again on April 15th, 2018. Get to work, accomplish the things on this list. Nothing more, nothing less.
This is the whole trick of dealing with Mercury retrograde. Stick with this list!
Our lives are so busy; we zip from one project to another, from one communication to another. We never seem to have the time to slow down and carefully complete the tasks that we have begun.

Mercury retrograde brings us the gift of time to wrap up all those loose ends!

#4. Don’t be tempted to start new projects, begin new commitments, new relationships, or new jobs!

This is the time for clean up only. Don’t move forward until Mercury turns direct on April 15th!
If you follow these simple steps, you will be amazed at how much you can accomplish during this 3 week period!
Good luck and get to work! Do remember that these are guidelines; not rules. There are things that can not be put off. Please be practical and do what must be done.

Onto the Dailies:

HIGH ENERGY – POTENTIAL AGGRAVATION
Monday, March 19, 2018:
Monday may feel like a fiery day of high energy and potential aggravation as the forceful Aries Moon begins to grow into her waxing crescent phase while making contact with defiant Uranus and power-hungry Pluto.
It is time to explore possibilities and new ways of experiencing your world. Watch yourself for any tendency to push your weight or privilege around as you may want your own way in some situation where you don’t expect the issue of diplomacy to deliver what you want. On Monday you likely want what you want without regard to others. Keep selfishness in check, don’t beat yourself up for it, but try to look beyond your own needs and get curious about how everyone involved may get their needs met.
When the Moon enters stable, slow-moving Taurus at 9:07 PM EDT, you may expect things to calm down for an early night’s sleep, however, shortly after midnight, Mercury and Venus join together at 16° Aries. Your words of love and connection may not be gentle but they will be direct and leave no one wondering what it is you want.
The Aries Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 3:29 PM EDT until she enters Taurus at 9:07 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

MARCH EQUINOX – SUN ENTERS DYNAMIC ARIES
Tuesday, March 20, 2018:
The Moon is steady and solid as she moves through reliable, consistent Taurus but the Sun’s entrance into Aries takes the cake and leaves us little thought for Taurus’s soft, earthy reverence.
At 12:15 PM EDT, we reach the March equinox. This is the vernal (Spring) equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and the autumnal (Fall) equinox in the Southern Hemisphere.
The March equinox is the moment of the new astrological year, the moment when the Sun crosses the celestial equator, the imaginary line in the sky above Earth’s equator, entering the first sign of the Zodiac, dynamic impulsive Aries. It may be a tiny bit less than exact, but conventional wisdom tells us that on the equinox we experience a day and night of equal lengths – 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night time. The name equinox is derived from the Latin words aequus, meaning equal, and nox, meaning night.
At the moment of the Equinox, the tilt of the Earth’s axis is inclined neither away from nor towards the Sun. This ushers us into the energies of Aries. Aries is a cardinal fire sign.
Think of the birth of Fire. As the Sun increasing in light and entices us to blast forward into new life with determination, courage, and physical, independent energy. Aries is a cardinal fire sign. Think of the birth of Fire.

FLOWERS AND BEAUTY
Wednesday, March 21, 2018:
Wednesday will be the first full day with the sun in dynamic, highly energetic Aries. Can you feel springtime in the air? During the month that the Sun is in Aries, Springtime itself is not dependable, we (in the NorthSpringtimeere) may still have days that feel more like late Winter than Spring.
On Wednesday, the Moon is in steadfast Taurus all day, allowing your heart to embrace the expansive excitement and deep pleasure of Spring. Taurus is a fixed, Earth sign that represents the period of time in the year when Spring becomes stable (the Sun will enter Taurus on April 19th). Taurus represents earth based beauty, reverence, and reliability. We know that warmth, sunshine and new growth are right around the corner. We must practice patience and bring beauty into our lives, encouraging the increase of more warmth, more sun, and more growth.
Bringing fresh flowers into your home, open the windows and let fresh air in; even if it is cold. Think about spring cleaning, you won’t want to work on that today, but plan for it.
Also, remember that on Thursday, Mercury stations retrograde. Begin preparing. Start a list of all that has been left undone over the past few months. I will post a reminder of how to manage Mercury retrograde in Thursday’s post.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:21 PM EDT until she enters Gemini at 1:30 AM EDT on Thursday morning. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

MAKE SURE THE PLAN IS IN PLACE – MERCURY RETROGRADE
Thursday, March 22, 2018:
By the time you wake up on Thursday morning, the Moon has entered inquisitive, restless Gemini. While the Moon moves through Gemini, folks tend to be more talkative, light-hearted, curious, and also more alert and aware of others. However, don’t be surprised if your communications somehow fall flat. Mercury, the planet that rules Gemini, is stationary, turning retrograde at 8:19 PM EDT. This may leave you feeling somehow stuck in your communications.
It may feel difficult to say what you want to say and leave you wondering if you were understood if you even manage to get the words out. It is best not to start new projects or communications. Consider carefully how to manage this Mercury Retrograde which continues until April 15th. Remember, Mercury retrograde is a powerful time for accomplishment if you plan and prepare accordingly.
Be sure to re-read the “4 Simple Steps To Make the Most of Mercury Retrograde” at the top of this post.
The Taurus Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:21 PM EDT briefly until she enters Gemini at 1:30 AM EDT on Thursday morning. By the time you wake up, all will be in order.

RELEASE CONTROL
Friday, March 23, 2018:
Friday brings a powerful transit that suggests the importance of deep change and possibly, profound turmoil to your love relationships. If you are in a less than stable, healthy partnership, this could bring a final break. If the relationship is healthy and you are well matched, you may find that some deep change needs to occur to move forward with full health intact. Dynamics of power and control must be managed carefully.
With Mercury retrograde as well, be acutely aware of communications between yourself and your loved ones. Don’t try to control those around you.
Allow yourself to loosen your grip, allow the future to be uncertain. Release your attachment to the outcome. The reality is that you can’t control others, you can’t control the future, and often, you often can’t even control yourself! Allow profound change to occur.
On January 9th, Venus and Pluto began their annual cycle of bringing beauty to power. Did something begin at that time that now needs a powerful push to move forward? Question your path forward.
Be cautious of any attraction that feels intensely powerful and fated this week. This is also not a time to make new financial investments.
The Gemini Moon is VOC* for about 8 minutes before midnight on Friday night. She will enter Cancer before you awake on Saturday morning (4:52 AM EDT). Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SOLITARY PHYSICAL EXERTION
Saturday, March 24, 2018:
Before you awake on Saturday morning, the Moon has entered sweet, sensitive Cancer. Generally speaking, the Cancer Moon encourages us to create emotional security within our chosen or biological families. This is not without complication this weekend. The Sun has only been in Aries for a few days and we are just adapting to this assertive, impulsive self-centered energy which is so at odds with the nurturing nature of Cancer.
At 11:35 AM EDT, the tender Cancer Moon forms a challenging square aspect to the fiercely independent Aries Sun. This is the First Quarter phase of the Moon. Think back to Saturday, March 17th. Did you plant a seed for the Pisces New Moon? Consider what action you can best take now to push that agenda forward.
Along with difficult conversations the Moon has with Mars and Saturn, early afternoon brings a difficult square aspect from the Sun to Mars. You may feel irritable, impatient, and defensive. Find a way to move energy that is healthy. Solitary exercise or hard physical work can help. It is best to be on your own, the energies are simply too inclined to irritation, frustration or even resentment.
The Gemini Moon is VOC* in the wee hours of Saturday morning. She will enter Cancer before you awake (4:52 AM EDT). Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

TENDERNESS ENDS THE WEEK
Sunday, March 25, 2018:
I’d like to tell you that Sunday will be better than Saturday for spending time with loved ones but I’m not sure about that. Test it out. Pay attention to your ability to stay connected without falling into old habits of power struggles or simple irritation.
If you notice yourself feeling frustrated and are unable to get a handle on it, pull back and keep yourself out of a defensive stance.
By evening, the aggravation should clear up allowing you to connect with love and affection before heading into another week.
Cook a nice meal or bring your loved ones out to a casual restaurant for dinner. Place kindness on the table as a main dish. The weekend has not been easy, end it on a note of sweet tenderness.

“Astrology has no more useful function than this, to discover the inmost nature of a man and to bring it out into his consciousness, that he may fulfill it according to the law of light.” ~ Aleister Crowley
