When the planets gather in the early and the late degrees of their respective signs with none in the middle degrees, we can encounter very long periods of the Moon being Void of Course. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

This week we have several unusually long VOC* Moon periods; on Monday we have five hours, Wednesday she will be VOC* the entire day (actually more than 24 hours) and Saturday she is void very nearly the entire day!

Take this as a suggestion for lowering your demands on yourself and others; go ahead and take some downtime, get caught up on mundane tasks.

Friday and Saturday will be dominated by a beautiful Grand Water Trine involving lovely Venus, expansive Jupiter, and dreamy Neptune. These will be perfect days for love, romance, compassion, nurturing, and kindness.

ENJOY THE PLAN

Monday, May 28, 2018:

With the Moon in Scorpio on Monday, you will want to reach deep into your emotions. Take a personal risk by looking into your own dark emotional closet. Tell a secret or ferret one out. Show yourself to be deeply understanding, trustworthy, and a true friend. Keep a secret; respect the privacy of others.

At 1:26 PM EDT, with the Moon opposing Mercury, you may find yourself drawn into an argument that has no winner. Let it go. Don’t engage. It is a passing issue that will be soon forgotten if you don’t allow yourself to get wrapped up in whatever the issue is. Release. Breathe.

At 6:29 PM EDT, the Moon enters Sagittarius, offering an evening with more lightness and the potential for fun, engagement, and planning. Sit down with a partner or friend after dinner and plan your summer vacation or a long weekend away. The planning can be nearly as much fun as the event itself.

The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:26 PM EDT until she enters Sagittarius at 6:29 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SAGITTARIUS FULL MOON – CELEBRATE AN OPEN MIND

Tuesday, May 29, 2018:

Tuesday’s Sagittarius Full Moon occurs at 10:20 AM EDT. Full Moons happen when the Sun is in the opposite position from the Moon. This highlights your ability to see both sides of a situation. Clarity is the name of the game. Your circumstances, for good or ill, come into sharp focus during a Full Moon. Your emotions are highlighted and awareness is heightened.

Think back to the New Moon on May 15th. What did you begin, what seed did you plant at that time? How has that seed grown? Where has it brought you? Any goals you set at the New Moon can now be adjusted as you are able to see the situation more clearly. The illumination of the Full Moon will stay with you for several days.

At 7:48 PM EDT, Mercury (the planet of communication and your thought processes) leaves the sweet stability of Taurus behind to enter chatty, restless Gemini. Mercury is delighted to be in Gemini and will spend the coming weeks gathering information and bring sharp focus to your mind. Consider what house Gemini resides in your chart to get an idea of what your mind will be busy with over the coming weeks.

EXPLORE, DREAM, PRAY

Wednesday, May 30, 2018:

The predominant feature of Wednesday is the fact that the Sagittarius Moon is VOC* for the entire day! We encounter a VOC* Moon every two to three days, lasting anywhere from a few seconds to well over twenty-four hours, depending on the position of the other planets. VOC* stands for Void Of Course; not, of course, it is void, but it is Void of its Course.

The VOC* Moon begins when the transiting Moon forms its final major aspect in one sign of the zodiac and remains VOC* until it enters the next sign. These periods of time are best utilized in spiritual or nonmaterial concerns; rest, rejuvenate, play, pray, meditate, or simply BE!

Don’t make decisions or begin projects that you have high expectations of or any expectations of. During VOC* Moon times, you simply don’t have a full grasp of the reality of a given situation.

Spend Wednesday getting caught up on mundane tasks or better yet, with the Moon in exploration loving Sagittarius, take a walk, dream, wonder, or pray.

The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:26 AM EDT until she enters Capricorn on Thursday morning at 5:27 AM EDT. This is a VERY LONG VOC* Moon. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

ACCOMPLISHMENT AND INNOVATION

Thursday, May 31, 2018:

Following Wednesday’s lack of accomplishment and impracticality, Thursday brings you back to the table and sets you on solid and ambitious ground. By the time you wake up on Thursday morning, the Moon has entered authoritative, hard-working Capricorn and you are ready to tackle your most realistic goals once again.

As the Moon trine Uranus at 7:02 AM EDT, you are able to find excitement and view your circumstances or projects from an unusual perspective; you are able to see innovative solutions to serious problems.

At 8:53 PM EDT, the authoritative Capricorn Moon joins with serious Saturn; you may find yourself embroiled in difficult conversations or even disciplinary necessities within your home or family. Regardless of the infractions or hard edges you feel, practice understanding, compassion, and kindness in all family matters. Gather information, ask questions, and listen with an open mind and heart.

EXPRESS INNOVATION – EXPAND BEAUTY

Friday, June 1, 2018:

You can anticipate great delight in getting your point across on Friday morning Conversations abound and direct communications flow easily with a trine aspect from Mercury to Mars. With Mercury in its home sign of chatty Gemini and Mars in innovative Aquarius, your ideas will stretch you into an exciting future. You are able to express your most innovative and interesting ideas and have those ideas received with ease.

At nearly the same time, Venus trine Jupiter supports the expansion of those conversations and the development of something of real solid value from them. Are you using your forward thinking to develop something of beauty and something that will support your life with practical, real-world results? You are able to see the possibilities fully.

Friday is a powerful day leading into a delightful weekend. Of course, there may be some bumps along the way but all-in-all, with a Grand Trine being formed between Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune, allow yourself to dream big and see the beauty that exists in your life.

DELIGHT IN SWEET SENSUALITY

Saturday, June 2, 2018:

The lovely and powerful Grand Trine that began to draw around us on Friday continues and strengthens on Saturday. Before you arise from the warmth of sleep, Venus has formed a flowing trine aspect to Neptune. You can expect to start the day with a sense of bliss and love. This is a lovely morning for romance. Go out to brunch or better yet have coffee and breakfast in bed. If your love is at your side enjoy cuddling and connection; if you are alone enjoy and delight in your own sweet sensuality.

At 6:07 PM EDT, with the Moon’s movement into objective Aquarius you may notice yourself or your partner pull away; do not take it personally. Perhaps there has been a bit too much sweetness and now you need a bit of autonomy. Widen your interest, look to a more expansive or humanitarian perspective.

The Capricorn Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from Friday at 11:37 PM EDT until she enters the Aquarius at 6:07 PM EDT. This is ANOTHER VERY LONG VOC* Moon. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

PIVOT IN A NEW DIRECTION

Sunday, June 3, 2018:

Get up early on Sunday morning to connect with friends and engage in unusual social interactions. This is a great day to meet up with new friends, or people who you have political or social commonalities with. Don’t fall back on brunch with the same standby crew of friends. This is the time to seek out new ideas and people with different worldviews to expand your own.

You are curious and interested in seeing the same old situations in a new light and from a different perspective. Ask questions, see if you can open your mind to thoughts you have never understood before. Your mind is sharp and it will open to new patterns that can pivot your life forward.

LONGING FOR DEEP CONNECTION

Monday, June 5, 2017:

Between Sunday night and Monday morning, the general mood changes dramatically from congenial and cooperative to intense and deep as the Moon enters the dark waters of Scorpio at 6:46 AM EDT.

Following a flowing trine aspect from the Moon to decisive Mars (7:51 AM EDT), the day proceeds without a major event. This offers aspect brings the ability to push beyond emotion into action.

When the Moon is in Scorpio, we seek and long for connection and deep intimacy with others. The trick is to understand that in order to reach that level of communion, one must show vulnerability. This is never an easy task when mysterious and secretive Scorpio is at hand. Do your best; find the courage necessary to allow others to see your soft side.

The Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 4:57 AM EDT until she enters Scorpio at 6:46 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SHIFTING SANDS

Tuesday, June 6, 2017

Tuesday is certainly a big day for shifting energies! Venus, the planet of love, money, and those things that we hold most dear, and Mercury, the planet of intellect, thoughts, and communication, both change sign. These inner personal planets are currently moving quickly and not remaining in any sign for long.

At 3:26 AM EDT, Venus leaves the aggressive sign of Aries behind (finally, after that long painful retrograde) to enter her favorite sign of sensual, beautiful Taurus. While Venus is in Taurus, you can slow down and simplify the complexities that sometimes overtake your life. This is a time to settle into love that brings comfort, indulge your senses, and create stability. Venus will remain in patient, earthy Taurus until July 4th.

At 6:15 PM EDT, perceptive Mercury leaves levelheaded Taurus behind to enter curious, restless Gemini. Mercury loves its time in Gemini, as he is easily able to gather and communicate the information he desires. Mercury will remain in Gemini until June 21st.

With these two personal planets in the signs they so strongly resonate with, you can expect that you will clarify your personal values and successfully communicate those values into your relationships.

The Moon continues through deeply passionate Scorpio. At 8:35 PM EDT, she makes her final aspect in Scorpio bringing us to a very long VOC* Moon that will last throughout most of Wednesday. Make Tuesday a productive day, as Wednesday will likely be far less so!

The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 8:35 PM EDT until she entries Sagittarius on Wednesday at 7:00 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

A LONG DAY LEADS TO POSSIBLE ADVENTURE

Wednesday, June 7, 2017:

Astrologically speaking, Wednesday is a quiet day with very little activity. If you are able to take the day off for rest and recuperation, that would be ideal. If you do go to work on Wednesday, focus your attention on mundane activities and completing activities that are fully in process. This is not a day to take on significant communications or to begin new projects.

At 7:00 PM EDT, you can expect to get an energy boost as the Moon enters optimistic, freedom-seeking Sagittarius. Surprise your partner or a friend with an invitation to a restaurant that serves foreign cuisine, preferably some place you have never visited before. Enjoy an evening of new ideas, adventures, and encounters. Get excited about new places, people, and experiences.

Enjoy the delightful energies available.

The Scorpio Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 8:35 PM EDT on Tuesday until she enters Sagittarius at 7:00 PM EDT on Wednesday. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

ENJOY THE ROSE COLORED GLASSES

Thursday, June 8, 2017:

I love to report on a day like Thursday! It is a quiet day with the normally domestic Moon joyfully passing through confident, expectant, optimistic Sagittarius. The Moon may want to be domestic but as she moves through Sagittarius, she is more apt to want to understand the domestic realities of people from other cultures or other worlds. This is a day to seek out adventures and to look ahead and plan more adventures.

Remember: all work and no play…

It’s not that you cannot get work done on Thursday. You certainly can. Whatever you put your attention on should move forward smoothly. Put the energy of enthusiasm into all that you do. Encourage and cheer on those you encounter. Open your mind to the way people unlike yourself live, love, and think.

Remember, we are all in this life together. We are not nearly as different from each other as we have been taught to believe.

At 9:42 PM EDT, when the Sagittarius Moon forms a lovely sextile aspect to philosophical Jupiter, enjoy those rose colored glasses. It may not last but for the time being it doesn’t get much better than this!

SAGITTARIUS FULL MOON – ENTHUSIASM & EXPLORATION

Friday, June 9, 2017:

The bright, buoyant enthusiasm of Thursday continues through Friday! We begin the day with a lovely Sagittarius Full Moon (at 18° Sagittarius) occurring at 9:10 AM EDT. Here we are, a Friday at the beginning of June; if the weather is beautiful you can expect people will be calling in sick! If you choose to go to work or not, this should be a positive day either way.

At 10:03 AM EDT, Jupiter, Sagittarius’ ruling planet, stations direct at 13° Libra. If you have planets between 11° – 15° of any cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn), pay particular attention to those places in your life where expansion has felt thwarted since Jupiter went retrograde on February 6, 2017. If you have learned the necessary lessons of cooperation and interdependence that Jupiter is teaching while in Libra, you are now ready to move forward in this area of your life.

At 11:40 AM EDT, lovely Venus forms a sextile aspects to assertive Mars encouraging you to take action on creativity, to actively seek love, and to soften and beautify how you approach your needs.

WEEKEND CHORES

Saturday, June 10, 2017:

This is probably not what you want to hear, but do prepare yourself for a practical weekend of chores, effort, and accomplishment. I’m sure you still have garden and other outdoor chores that need to be done; take the time now so you will be able to kick back a bit and enjoy the summer days ahead.

After the excitement of the Sagittarius Moon throughout Thursday and Friday, the Moon enters serious Capricorn at 7:37 AM EDT.

If you focus well and put your work ethic to the service of significant endeavors, you will be ready for a well-deserved break when the Moon forms a flowing trine aspect to lovely Venus at 4:43 PM EDT. The evening may best be spent alone or in quiet activities with close family or loved ones.

The Sagittarius Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:21 AM EDT until she entries Capricorn at 7:37 AM EDT.

Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; not good, not bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES

Sunday, June 11, 2017:

With the highly disciplined Capricorn Moon squaring expansive Jupiter at 10:14 AM EDT, you may feel that a lot is expected of you on Sunday or perhaps you have high expectations of yourself. Make sure you are clear about what is realistically possible.

With Jupiter in relationship-driven Libra, having a partner or friend help shoulder the responsibilities that are calling for your attention will be a big help.

At 12:19 PM EDT, when the Moon forms a sextile aspect to Neptune, it will be a good idea to take a break from your responsibilities to spend time in nature, watch a film, or simply take time for daydreaming.

Head to bed early to get a jump on the coming week and to avoid the power struggles that could erupt when the serious Capricorn Moon opposes, sometimes coercive Pluto at 9:23 PM EDT.

Sweet dreams. Another week approaches.

Astrolore’s Weekly Astrology Weather: May 16, 2016 through May 22, 2016

La Soiree Huile Sur Toile by Daoud Peintre via Wiki Commons

La Soiree Huile Sur Toile by Daoud Peintre via Wiki Commons

The week begins with the Sun, Venus, and Mercury in Taurus; the Moon and Jupiter in Virgo, and Pluto in Capricorn. That’s 6 out of 10 “planets” in Earth signs. We can expect the week to begin with a sense of slow deliberation.

On Monday afternoon, the Moon enters Libra where she remains until the wee hours of Thursday morning. Saturday at 1:49 PM, she enters Sagittarius where she will remain through the end of the weekend.

The early days of the week (Monday through Thursday) are quite uneventful. Of course, there are the general ups and downs reflected by the lunar aspects but there is nothing terribly significant to speak of. Remember, that the aspects made by the Moon pass by very quickly. When the slower moving planets aspect each other, we are looking at a longer term process.

However, we can expect the quiet uneventful days to end on Friday when the Sun enters Gemini at 9:36 AM EDT. The Sun’s entrance into Gemini moves us from slow and steady into a more energized activity of growth. Communication and curiosity replace deliberate predictability.

You can think about Taurus as Ferdinand the Bull and Gemini as the Road Runner.

Gemini is a mutable Air sign. Mutability speaks to the versatile, adaptable nature of Gemini. The element of Air speaks to the intellect, bringing curiosity, versatility, and inquisitiveness to the table.

Gemini wants to explore the possibilities available, whereas Taurus simply wanted to sit on the sidelines and hold space of consistency and reliability.

On Saturday, we come to a Full Moon in Sagittarius. The lunar cycle has been building since the New Moon on May 6th. Whatever we began building at that time is now released into full expression. A Full Moon in Sagittarius is a time to celebrate expansion. Look at the expanding possibilities!

On Sunday, Mercury turns direct! We are all delighted with this news and are ready to proceed forward with new projects, ideas, and communication.

On to the Dailies!

Have a wonderful week.

A DAY FOR ARTISTS AND LOVERS

Monday, May 16, 2016:

Even with Mercury and Mars still retrograde, the week begins with a sense of ease and predictability. Routines feel easy to maintain and we have the patience to stick with them.

At 12:33 PM EDT, the Moon enters Libra, the sign of diplomacy and social graces. This is a day meant for artists and lovers. Expect to feel a pull toward beauty and love.

Don’t sit around waiting for love or inspiration to find you, put yourself out in the world where you can interact with others. With the Grand Earth Trine still active between Jupiter, Pluto, and Mercury, you likely feel a strong pull toward sensual pleasures. The only drawback to this planetary configuration is the tendency to overindulge in food, drink, or spending. Unless you have the money to spend, leave the credit cards at home!

This should be a great evening for any social activities or simply a pleasant evening to share with family.

TINY INCREMENTAL STEPS FORWARD

Tuesday, May 17, 2016:

With the Sun, Venus, and Mercury still in Taurus and the Libra Moon moving quietly throughout the day, there is nothing to do but continue putting one foot in front of the other. Nothing is apt to happen in a hurry today but steady progress can be made on whatever you choose to put your attention on.

At 6:35 PM EDT, the stable Taurus Sun sextiles Saturn, the planet that forms structure and stability in exchange for our efforts. What area of your life are you working to build a stable foundation? If you pay attention this evening, you may hear as quiet whisper encouraging you to explore a new path for emotional stability.  By May 22nd, you will see more clearly the appropriate action.

This will not take you on any radical new path. Remember that tiny incremental steps move us forward just as surely as radical leaps into the unknown. For now, it is slow movement forward.

Enjoy the slow pace of the continued Taurus energy as she is still enjoying the company of the full Grand Earth Trine. It won’t last too much longer.

Pay close attention to the reality of your life and encourage pleasure to grow.

CONVENTION VS. PROGRESS

Wednesday, May 18, 2016:

Explosión de Supernova by Tel2368045 via Wiki Commons

Explosión de Supernova by Tel2368045 via Wiki Commons

Tuesday was a day devoted to the maintenance of pleasure and calm. On Wednesday, don’t be surprised if you wake up feeling abandoned by that pleasure! What happened? Where did that sense of ease and beauty go?

Remember, the square aspect formed by Uranus and Pluto that we talked so much about over the past 4 years? Well, that aspect has been technically complete for some time now. However, think about how slowly both Uranus and Pluto move. It takes Uranus 84 years to fully orbit the Sun; it takes Pluto 248 years. Because of this, they are still very close together in the square of their cycle.

On Wednesday, the Libra Moon squares Pluto (12:38 AM EDT), shortly after she opposes Uranus (11:23 AM EDT). With the Moon linking them together in this way, we are reminded us of the powerful challenges and profound changes that have occurred in our lives over the past 4+ years.

It is important to pay attention to the issues in the culture (and in our personal circumstances) that continue to pit protocol and convention against progress and revolutionary change.

Following the opposition to Uranus, the Moon remains quiet for the rest of the day.

Don’t feel guilty for taking the afternoon off for rest and rejuvenation. You need it more than you may realize.

ALLOW POWERFUL HEALING

Thursday, May 19, 2016:

Perhaps Wednesday’s contemplation of recent changes in your life prompted you to look more deeply into your own unacknowledged wounds. If you have been hurt or hurt others during the past 4 years of radical change, it is important that you stop trying to sweep that pain under the rug. You don’t have to blame another to acknowledge your own personal hurt and the hurt you absorb when you hurt others.

When the Moon enters Scorpio at 2:30 AM EDT, most of us will be sleeping. While you slept your dreams have deepened your understanding and view of your current circumstances. Within dream space you can engage the hidden dynamics at work, without your conscious mind getting in the way.

There is nothing light-hearted about Thursday. Allow your self-understanding to expand into uncharted territory. Expect to shed some tears; not the kind that rock you to the core, not the sentimental, or even the manipulative kind. The tears we shed now are tears of deep opening and powerful healing.

At 8:27 PM EDT, Venus sextile Chiron shows us the path that will support the healing of relationship issues that hold us back from deeper joy. The Scorpio Moon is delighted with this deep inner work.

PICK UP THE PACE – SUN ENTERS GEMINI

Friday, May 20, 2016:

It’s time to pick up the pace! Slow just went out of style.

Even as the Scorpio Moon continues asking us to deepen our heart connection to the world around us, the Sun shifts us onto a path that speeds up our thinking and insists we pay attention to everything. Pay attention to EVERYTHING?! Imagine the anxiety of trying to do that!

While the Sun is in Gemini, make it a practice to watch your breathing, remain in your body, and keep your mind and awareness in the present moment.

At 10:36 AM EDT, the Sun leaves behind the sensuous, grounded, Earth sign of Taurus to enter the inquisitive, Air sign of Gemini. Perhaps, your life has been moving along at a steady pace, following this shift; it may feel as though someone has put too much pressure on the gas pedal.

With Mercury (Gemini’s ruling planet) (and Mars) currently retrograde, it will take some effort to maintain focus without anxiety, anger, or blame getting in the way. Having this awareness will help considerably.

Gemini is a curious, perceptive, and intellectual sign. During this time, our thoughts come ever closer to the surface as we gather information, analyze, and communicate. Gemini brings lightness, and a touch of fun, to every corner of our lives.

Watch how your ability and interest in communication and learning shift and move quickly. We learn so much when we let curiosity guide the way. Follow your curiosity. It will set you on a path of profound learning.

SAGITTARIUS FULL MOON: EXPANSION & CURIOSITY

Saturday, May 21, 2016:

Sagittarius Full Moon is exact at 5:15 PM EDT – Make a plan for Saturday evening! It should be a memorable night.

As we expand our curiosity about the world around us, our minds and our hearts expand with understanding and compassion; as we expand our understanding and compassion our curiosity grows.

With the Sun in optimistic Sagittarius and the Moon in inquisitive Gemini, the issue of exploring big ideas is front and center. Think back to the Taurus New Moon on May 6th. You probably planted a seed you hoped would grow into a stable force of support and structure in your life. How do you see that growth from the perspective of the Full Moon? Has your desire for stability shown you that you need to learn something new or has it asked you to begin a new study of some sort?

Do you need to learn something to support your stability or do you need stability to support your learning? Isn’t this a question similar to: which comes first the chicken or the egg? You really can’t have one without the other.

Mars – the assertive planet of initiative and the power of will – is conjunct the Full Moon, bringing a great deal of energy to the table on Saturday evening. Be aware of the tendency to be a bit more self-centered than usual. Luckily, Gemini and Sagittarius are mutable signs, so we are able to adapt and don’t need to have our own way. Relax and go with what is offered… up to a point!

This is a night to enjoy; we are all seeking a sense of adventure. However, with the Sun opposing Mars early Sunday morning, please consider how this adventure will appear in the light of day.

MERCURY RETROGRADE ENDS; TURNING DIRECT AT 8:20 AM EDT

Sunday, May 22, 2016:

With the Sun opposing Mars at 6:16 AM EDT, we may wake up less than thrilled with how we ultimately choose to spend Saturday night. Perhaps, you followed an adventure that was a bit ill advised. On the other hand, whatever you got ‘up to’ on Saturday night may energize the morning! You feel angry with yourself or you feel energized! Which will it be for you?

You may get a hint if you think back to the beginning of the cycle between the Sun and Mars. This is a cycle of energizing the self, of bringing determination and initiative to consciousness. The cycle began in mid-June of 2015. Perhaps, you began a physical disciple, a sexual connection, or some other dynamic or assertive activity at that time. In early February, you very likely took an action that propelled the energy to where it is now. It is helpful to keep a journal to follow these cycles.

This is certainly set up to be an intensely active, somewhat fun, and somewhat stressful weekend. The Moon brings uneasy aspects to Neptune and Saturn on in the late afternoon. How about we all agree to a kindness to one another, a quiet evening and an early bedtime?

Pond painting by Kathy Holmes of of Colchester, VT

Reaching out for help finding images for this blog and my Facebook page has been extremely exciting and very satisfying.

Thank you so much to all who have offered your incredibly beautiful images; photographs, paintings, collages, and more! The creativity, talent, and generosity I have received has truly blown my mind. LOVE!

I am delighted with the new look of my page and blog! Knowing that all of you are making it happen has felt like an amazing support! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

On another topic, many of you have reached out expressing concern and care around the health difficulties that my partner has recently faced. Again, thank you for your kindness. Brenda is recovering well with lots of help from her cardiac therapy, friends, family, and rest.

We still face many challenges moving forward and yet are feeling strong and confident. Thank you all so much for your kind words and support.

Many of you have also reached and made appointments for consultations with me. It is such a delight to work with each of you to help you understand and love yourselves more profoundly. I am deeply grateful for the work I’ve been given in this world to do; it is truly an honor.

I suspect that last week was a bit of a challenge for many of you. With so much Neptune energy, our sensitivity level has been extreme as well as a deep lack of clarity.

Even as we were adjusting to the retrograde motion of Mercury, we also had to deal with the lack of clarity and the potential deep suffering of Neptune. The good news is that this week is simpler with a good deal more clarity!

The Sagittarius Full Moon on Tuesday has the potential to pull us out of whatever doldrums we have been stuck in over the past few weeks. It is time to explore the bigger picture; to look outside ourselves and enjoy the view from above.

Travel, explore, and see the world from a perspective you have never imagined before. The world is wider and deeper and more expansive than any of us can imagine.

This week, work to enlarge your view, see beyond the boundaries that have kept you stuck. It is time to explore and grow.

CREATE BEAUTY OR LOVE

Monday, June 1, 2015:

Getting out of bed on the right foot Monday morning will make all the difference to how your entire week unfolds.

At 7:00 AM EDT, the Moon trine Venus followed by the Moon VOC* until she enters Sagittarius at 2:38 PM EDT. If you are in a partnership, please make sure you do not leave the house without making a strong, loving connection with your partner.

If you are single, put that same energy and attention into creating something beautiful or spending time on a creative project. This could be as simple as making sure all the dishes are clean and the counters wiped down before you leave the house, making the bad and putting flowers on the nightstand. When you get home in the evening, you will see what a difference these tiny things make.

This is a day to notice the beauty and love that surrounds you and the beauty and love you create in your environment. Consider how you bring beauty to the lives of others.

At 2:38 PM EDT, the Moon enters Sagittarius and our hearts follow; seeking exploration, encountering new views and perspectives of reality.

Monday will be a great evening to brainstorm and dream about travel or a particular study you would like to undertake. Don’t make any hard fast convictions on the issue, as Mercury is still retrograde. However, now is a good time to explore the ideas in your mind with friends, a partner, or on your own. This may be a good start to a much easier week.

CLARITY; FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS

Tuesday, June 2, 2015:

On Tuesday at 12:19 PM EDT, we have the Full Moon in Sagittarius. Take a moment to contemplate how far your life has expanded over the past several months… and even over the last two weeks.

Think back as recently as March before the final Uranus and Pluto squares which pushed all of our lives into hyper-drive. How much can a life change over the course of three or four months? Look at your own life and look at the lives of those around you.

The Sagittarius Full Moon brings clarity to a path that was totally obscured less than a week ago. This does not mean the difficulties are all behind us. It does mean that if we open our eyes fully, we are able to see the biggest picture available. We know where we are on-track and where we need to make adjustments.

We are likely to be in a better place than we know. Explore, expand, travel; open your heart! The Sagittarius Full Moon allows us to see the full perspective from the highest point. As we explore the highest and broadest perspective, we understand what is necessary and what is not. We are ready to release as we open to the important work ahead.

We must support each other with optimism, vitality, and the best of intentions! At this Full Moon, you will want to embrace your free spirit, freedom, and opportunities for joy and adventure. Make sure you have adventures scheduled on your calendar. There is no time like the present to seek joy.

IMAGINE THE FUTURE

Wednesday, June 3, 2015:

Tuesday’s Full Moon engendered a great deal of positive excitement and energy. I hope you were able to roll with the circumstances and love your life. Wednesday is a very simple day, a day for recuperation, meditation, and rest.

Following a sextile to Uranus at 1:58 AM EDT, the Moon is VOC* until she enters Capricorn at 8:51 PM EDT. This gives us a very long day to recuperate.

Make the most of it! Enjoy it! Truly, it is a gift.

Whatever you are doing today, whatever has to be done, please understand that there will not be any great result from it! When the Moon is VOC*, we hold steady in the energy of the final aspect, in this case the sextile to Uranus. That gives the whole day a quirky feel. Even as we recuperate and rest, our interest is in the extraordinary; we seek an unusual perspective.

As we rest in contemplation and renewal, we embrace the future as we imagine it can be! These thoughts, these interests expand our awareness to accept all the unusual excitement of the future. This is a day for no expectations of yourself or others; rest, rejuvenate, and expand your vision.

EMBRACE YOUR WORK ETHIC

Thursday, June 4, 2015:

Thursday brings us a very serious day. This is the day for hard work, a day that you can get a great deal accomplished.

Whereas Wednesday was best with no expectations, Thursday is a good day to have high expectations of yourself and others! If you prepare properly and focus yourself adequately, this is a day that you could get more done than in the entire rest of the week combined.

Go ahead; put your nose to the grindstone! Work hard, embrace a work ethic of great magnitude. Don’t let anything distract you.

This is not a day for socializing. This is a time to work in a solitary pursuit.

Teamwork is not a great idea. This is a day to work on your own, depending on your own effort and drive. Put in the effort and the focus; you will be glad you did.

If you utilize this day properly, you will sleep well Thursday night and feel great about your accomplishments.

Without the work, effort, and accomplishment this could be an unhappy, cranky, or depressing day. Don’t let that happen. It is not necessary.

MAKE LOVE, PLAY, DANCE

Friday, June 5, 2015:

Okay! Here we go again with another full day of the Moon VOC*! Indeed, the Moon goes VOC*at 6:54 AM EDT following a square to Uranus and will not enter Aquarius until Saturday in the early morning. The Capricorn Moon is still with us throughout the day. If we know how to manage this, we can still accomplish a great deal.

Please remember, it is not that we cannot get anything done, it is that nothing of value will result from what we do. Therefore, mundane tasks can still be accomplished and help propel forward the work ethic of Thursday.

You don’t want to work on a project that requires a great outcome but you certainly could organize and file paperwork, or accomplish any kind of maintenance for cleaning projects.

Venus enters Leo at 11:32 AM EDT! This will herald in an appreciation for these sunny days in the warm summer. The Sun will not enter Leo for several months but now Venus gives us a taste of the warmth and splendor of the Sun (which rules Leo). Embrace this shift in energy.

Venus represents our relationships and what we value. Have you noticed yourself being critical and overly sensitive while Venus was moving through Virgo? Warmth returns and our relationships are able to become more playful and lighthearted! This is very good news.

Venus goes retrograde starting June 25th and Venus will remain retrograde until mid-July 2016. We will discuss Venus retrograde as we get closer to the time. For now, enjoy the playfulness of Venus in Leo!

When was the last time you acted in a play or were on stage doing something you love with an audience? Take this time to learn to play in whatever way that appeals to you. Think about it and make it a priority. Fun, enjoyment, and play are crucial elements for our health and happiness.

Mars is sextile Jupiter at 7:37 PM EDT allowing that playful energy some physical expression. This evening play should be physical! Go out dancing or make love with expansive passion and creativity. What a lovely Friday night! <3

THE PLEASURE OF LIFE

Saturday, June 6, 2015:

We wake up Saturday morning to the Moon in Aquarius. This is certainly an opportunity for a quirky and fun day. I hope you have planned something with family or friends. Here in Vermont, summer is short and we must enjoy these weekends to the fullest.

This would be a great day for a wedding or party!

Venus is trine Saturn at 2:22 AM EDT; this colors the entire day with love, stability, and the value of beauty.

Make the effort and you will be able to tap into deep enjoyment of beauty. We have felt a sense of pleasure in the very act of living; we are able to stand back and hold ourselves steady as we see the love and beauty available to us in this world.

In November 2014, we began a new cycle of stabilizing relationship or solidifying something of beauty. Now, we are at the disseminating phase of that cycle. We are able to fully see, experience, and show others what we have learned and what beauty has come into our lives throughout the course of the cycle.

We are able to teach others what we have learned about life, love, and beauty. Each one of us has a unique and valuable experience; share what you know.

FUN AND PLEASURE

Sunday, June 7, 2015:

Sunday is very much reflection of Saturday. This is indeed an exceptional weekend.

Please make this day exciting, fun, and enjoyable!

Don’t stay home unless your home is a place of grand enjoyment. Don’t try to make this a work weekend.

This is the weekend to go to the beach, go camping, go to the city for play, go dancing, go to clubs and meet new people.

I’m not to spend anymore time writing about it; there is fun to be had!!

This week: The VOC* Moon!

VOC* (void of course) refers to the period of time between the final aspect that the Moon makes while in one sign until she enters the next sign. This can consist of several minutes or many hours. These periods are best handled with little expectation of accomplishment. These times are ideally suited for rest and contemplation.

Block off these times in your schedule and avoid making significant decisions or working on important projects during these times. During VOC* Moon, focus on routine tasks. You will be surprised at how this one change will smooth the edges of your life!

Do you have questions about what is appropriate to do or not do during the VOC* moon? A simple way to think about it is to ask a simple question: Do I hope that this activity will amount to something? If the activity does not need to amount to anything, go ahead with it!

If you have an expectation or desire that this action is going to amount to something, do not do it while the Moon is VOC*. Think about the time you bought a book you were certain you were going to love and you never could finish it! Think about the time you bought the perfect article of clothing that you ended up never wearing. That is the Moon VOC*!

Monday, June 1, 2015 the Moon is VOC* (in Scorpio) following a trine to Venus at 7:00 AM EDT, until she enters Sagittarius at 2:38 PM EDT.

Wednesday, June 3, 2015 the Moon is VOC* (in Sagittarius) following a trine to Uranus at 1:58 AM EDT until she enters Capricorn at 8:51 PM EDT.

Friday, June 5, 2015 the Moon is VOC* (in Capricorn) following a square to Uranus at 6:54 AM EDT until she enters Aquarius at 1:02 AM EDT on Saturday, June 6, 2015.

Sunday, June 7, 2015 the Moon is VOC* (in Aquarius) following a sextile to Uranus at 10:30 AM EDT until she enters Pisces early Monday morning.

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transit between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.

The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

Are you at a crossroad in your life? Are your circumstances other than what you expected?

We can meet for an individual consultations (Burlington, Vermont), by telephone, or on SKYPE!

Life Transitions Require New Perspectives!

It is my goal to empower you in the exploration of the past, present and future of your life.

Let's talk. There is so much to learn and understand.
