That we can now think of no mechanism for astrology is relevant but unconvincing. No mechanism was known, for example, for continental drift when it was proposed by Wegener. Nevertheless, we see that
Wegener was right, and those who objected on the grounds of unavailable mechanism were wrong.

TAKE RISKS WITH YOUR HEART
Monday, April 23, 2018:
Monday’s astrological aspects suggest a simple day with the Moon moving smoothly through playful, fun-loving Leo. Don’t make the day complicated with unnecessary melodrama and tension. This is a good day to applaud someone else’s accomplishments and to step aside and allow another person to take the limelight.
If, however, you find yourself to be the one on stage (literally or figuratively), accept it with grace and style. Focus your attention and expression on warmth, generosity, and open-hearted kindness. Keep your pride and pettiness at bay.
You may want all the attention but as adults sometimes it is best to give others exactly that which we desire.
Today create something fun, play with children, or take risks with your heart.

EMBRACE CURIOSITY
Tuesday, April 24, 2018:
Explore ways to increase your connection to your physical body, your ability to assert yourself or your sexuality. In the wee hours of the morning, Mars forms a lovely sextile to Jupiter, the planet of amplification and expansion. Whatever you learn now will help inform and support a powerful shift that begins later this week when Mars connects with dynamic, forceful Pluto.
At 12:39 PM EDT, Venus, the planet of beauty and love, leaves the comfort of Taurus behind to embrace curiosity in Gemini. You will be more interested in conversations with your loved ones than you have been in the past 3 ½ weeks. Curiosity will motivate you on romantic as well as social and financial issues. You will be more interested and interesting but less inclined to deep emotional connection. Keep it light.
At 4:41 PM EDT, the Moon enters meticulous, productive Virgo. Spend the evening taking care of details, analyzing your health routines, and other practical activities.
The Leo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 2:40 PM EDT until she enters Virgo at 4:41 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact

INTENSITY CRACKLES IN THE BACKGROUND
Wednesday, April 25, 2018:
Wednesday brings with it discomfort and heaviness as Mercury forms a challenging square to restrictive Saturn. You may feel the need to say something that just isn’t ready to come out effectively. It may not be easy but try to find patience!
Be gentle and kind with your words.
Even as Venus, newly in Gemini, wants to get things off its chest, Saturn insists that you wait and think carefully before you speak. The Virgo Moon may want to get in on the act with criticism and judgments.
Intensity crackles in the air as we approach the square between Mars and Pluto which is exact on Thursday morning. That energy which we have felt brewing won’t stay in the background any longer. Watch what is happening on the world stage.

PUT YOUR SHOULDER TO THE WHEEL
Thursday, April 26, 2018:
Make no mistake, this is a time of powerful change. Looking at the social and political upheaval, you can’t miss the intensity of the forces that are beyond your control.
If you have personal planets or any sensitive points between 19 -23° of any of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn), the intensity and turmoil in the outer world is clearly reflected in your own life and your own heart. Consider a consultation, contact me.
Now, with Mars joining Pluto, a new cycle begins involving force and power. Read that sentence again. This is not a simple passing Moon transit or a low-key cycle. These are the big kids on the block, playing with fire. It is time to put a stake in the ground, to use your personal power for a cause that you passionately believe in.
Of all the issues that need your attention, it is your responsibility to find the one that speaks to you most strongly. Over the next few days, plan your path forward toward making a difference. It is time to put your shoulder to the wheel.
With the Moon in Virgo, your heart understands the importance of being of service. We each need to serve the higher good, each to their ability.
The Virgo Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 5:50 AM EDT until she enters Libra at 9:13 PM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

PEACE AND UNDERSTANDING
Friday, April 27, 2018:
The intensity of the conversation that Mars and Pluto began yesterday remains hovering beside us as we move into the weekend. Don’t forget the message of this new cycle: Find a cause you believe in and get to work helping others to make a difference in the world.
Your voice and your backbone are needed and will make a difference. Don’t assume there is nothing you can do, even the smallest efforts make a difference.
On Friday, the Moon is in Libra, encouraging you to ratchet down the potential anger and make a point of understanding each side of the issue. Do not assume that you are right and others are wrong. There are reasons and experiences in people’s lives that result in very different realities.
With the Moon in Libra, have a conversation with someone who sees the world in a radically different way than you do. Listen to what they have to say with an open heart and mind and allow yourself to see another’s perspective. Sharing realities, understanding ‘otherness’ is the only way to reach peace and understanding.

THE EVENING BRINGS RELIEF
Saturday, April 28, 2018:
You really do want to understand, cooperate, and make the world a better place with beauty and understanding. On Saturday, you can expect to feel a bit overwhelmed and discouraged when your efforts don’t immediately get you what you had hoped for. The important things in life always seem to take more time and commitment than you may have wished was the case.
As the Libra Moon forms a challenging square aspect to Mars and Pluto, she fans the flames of their meeting several days ago. This suggests a reminder of the message that there is work to do. Remember, this cycle between Mars and Pluto asks you to find a cause you believe in and get to work helping others to make a difference. Stay focused on what small steps you can make now to shift the course of your own mind and the minds of others.
By Saturday evening, you can relax and allow these heavy issues to move to the side of your awareness. It will feel good and lift your spirits to shift your focus and find beauty and love in social interactions. Spend the evening with a loving partner or good friends.

SCORPIO FULL MOON – REVEAL YOUR TRUTH
Sunday, April 29, 2018:
By the time you wake up on Sunday morning, the Moon has entered intense, cathartic Scorpio. When the Moon is in Scorpio, your emotions tend to go very deep, you look below the surface, and you will settle for nothing less than the truth.
Connections with others must be deeply powerful in order to be worth your while.
At 6:03 AM EDT, the Sun forms a lovely trine aspect to stabilizing Saturn. This settles the day considerably and will remain a major positive influence throughout the day.
The Moon is fully illuminated at 8:59 PM EDT. The Scorpio Full Moon is an excellent time to look in the mirror and see how you are powerfully changing right before your very own eyes. Scorpio insists that you uncover what is hidden and bring it into the open.
Consider the seed you planted at the New Moon on April 15th, how does the growth of that seed help you understand what now needs to be revealed? Allow a deeply concealed part of yourself to come to light that will change your path forward.
In the wee hours, while you sleep, the Libra Moon is VOC* (think of it as being adrift, without focus or connection) from 1:32 AM EDT until she enters Scorpio at 3:12 AM EDT. Remember, when the Moon is VOC*, there will be no result from anything that is begun. This is neutral; it is not good or bad, it simply suggests that whatever occurs will not have any significant future impact.

At the moment I am looking into astrology, which seems indispensable for a proper understanding of mythology. There are strange and wondrous things in these lands of darkness. Please, don’t worry about my wanderings in these infinitudes. I shall return laden with rich booty for our knowledge of the human psyche. ~ Carl Jung

* In these weekly reports, I am exploring the major aspects formed by transits between the planets. I do not consider every aspect that the Moon makes each day as they can be numerous and are often fleeting moods. I will consider the final major aspect formed by the Moon prior to its VOC* time, as that aspect holds its influence throughout the VOC*.
* The aspects under consideration: conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions.
* The planets I work with: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
